Sesshomaru leads Rin to his vehicle. Wow, Rin thinks.
"Nice car" she says.
"Thank you". he responds and opens the door for her.
He gets into the vehicle and is instantly hit with her scent overflowing his vehicle, he grunts. Rin looks over to him and he clears his throat.
"Thank you for taking me home, you really did not have to".
"It is fine, since Kagura left so abruptly, I had no reason to be there anymore".
"I thought you didn't know she was coming from what Kagome and Inuyasha said, so why does that matter?"
Sesshomaru had to think quickly. He knew truthfully, he would have stayed if she didn't want to leave but since she was leaving, he wanted to leave too. This had nothing to do with Kagura.
"There was no reason really, I just wanted to go after she left".
Rin shrugs. "Can I ask you a question?"
Sesshomaru loving they actually are having their first conversation in such close proximity.
"What is it?"
"What made you start dancing?"
"I am very old although I do not look it. My family is of royalty, and we always had extravagant parties. That is where I began to dance. As time went on, there were more different styles of dancing, and I was forever intrigued by it".
"Wow that is kind of amazing to be able to learn so many different styles of dancing". Rin pauses. "Royalty huh".
Sesshomaru glances over, "Is that a problem?"
"No, it just kind of makes sense now; your mannerism".
"Hmph".
Rin smiles and turns to look out the window. Sesshomaru watches her from the corner of his eye. She is beautiful, he then becomes disappointed. Why did she have to be a human? Why did him and Kagura have to be together? It would be distasteful if he left Kagura and pursued Rin, he wouldn't want to hurt Rin, and it wouldn't be right to Kagura.
"What made you…" there was an interruption, Rin's phone rings.
"One moment". She answers.
"Hello Asao".
Sesshomaru listens.
"I was thinking about you pretty lady".
"Really now?" she giggles.
She flirts, tuh he thinks.
Rin glances over, "Actually can I call you back. I am on my way home so I will catch up with you there".
She hangs up the phone realizing she was being rude, and he was trying to ask her something.
"I am sorry Sesshomaru, what were you saying?"
"It is nothing".
"I should have not answered the phone while we were in the middle of talking. It was not important".
"Do not worry yourself. It must have been important to answer".
Damn he is polite but rude, she thinks.
"We have arrived".
"Thank you once again Sesshomaru".
She exits out his vehicle and glances back at him. Sesshomaru looks at her and pulls out and drives away.
"I shouldn't feel this way" Sesshomaru says frustratingly.
Rin enters her apartment, "Why do I feel so bad for talking to Asao, Sesshomaru has a girlfriend".
A couple days later, everybody seems as if they are getting more acquainted with the dance class. Before classes, random people would break out and dance, showing off their moves while everyone else cheers them on.
Sesshomaru walks into the room and sees Rin dancing provocative. She puts her hands on her knees and starts shaking her ass, popping it in different directions. She then puts her hands up and starts belly dancing. Sesshomaru imagined how she would be on top, bouncing that ass on him. He just leans against the wall, watching her and the crowd.
"Oh, wow I think I am liking this" Miroku says, and Sango joins the class dancing.
The class settles down and becomes attentive to what Miroku and Sango have to say.
"Today is the day we split you all into mini groups. We have prepared a list for who you will be working with for the next couple of weeks".
They announce the first group which is, Rin, Kagome, Yuka, Hojo, Naraku, Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, and Kagura. They look around the room and they do not see Kagura.
Sesshomaru thinks she will show a little later as usual and Miroku and Sango think the same. They hold off adding an extra person for now.
Sesshomaru looks over to Rin and likes that they will be in the same group. He likes that he will be closer to her, but he did not like what she did when he was taking her home.
Rin glances over at Sesshomaru, she was happy they were in the same group, but she felt he was mad at her. Kagome and Inuyasha intertwine fingers and kiss.
Rin walks over to Sesshomaru, "They have no shame huh".
Sesshomaru glances down at her, breathes out and does not respond. Rin felt kind of stupid thinking she could find a way to apologize; trying to make small talk.
Sango walks up to Sesshomaru, "do you think Kagura will show up tonight?"
"I cannot give you an honest answer, she does as she pleases".
Sango looks in confusion, must be a demon thing.
Sango had 5 groups that had more skill and Miroku took the other 5 with the lesser skill.
"Now that you all are within your groups, you will coordinate your own dance routine and perform it to the class. You will need a leader to help coordinate, a spoke person for your group if you will. If you need more practice, you can meet up after class, I suggest it. Let us not forget this isn't a class where you are getting graded. This class will help bring your confidence out, and how you would perform in front of others or with your partner eventually". Miroku says.
"The dance studio is always open if you want to practice so do not hesitate to reach out to me or Miroku if you would like to use the studio".
Kagura shows up, Sesshomaru about had it with her. He would have quit the class if Rin wasn't involved which excited him and irritated him at the same time.
Sango catches Kagura up to speed and she immediately tries to become the leader.
"I don't think you should be the team leader because you are always late, so that makes you not dependable". Rin says.
The rest of the group turns and looks to Rin surprised at what she said that no one really wanted to say out loud. Sesshomaru looks the other way, but it is proud that Rin said something when no one else did.
"Do you think you could do better?"
"It doesn't have to be me, but it cannot be you".
"How dare you speak to me like that you little twat".
"Oh my god you are annoying, can we take a vote".
Everyone is in shock at what is transpiring. Kagome rubs Rin shoulder to get her to calm down.
Rin doesn't know what is taking over her, but Kagura is really annoying her.
Kagura growls at Rin.
"You don't think I hear your snide remarks you say about me. How does Sesshomaru put up with you?"
Sesshomaru eyes widen and Kagura turns to him, "You see she has put you in it, and you have nothing to do with this. She likes you Sesshomaru, I told you that didn't I".
Miroku and Sango left the room while all of this arguing was going on.
"Really Kagura, if I wanted Sesshomaru, I would have him and I will be a better girlfriend than you are".
"Rin!" Kagome yells out.
Yuka and Kagome move Rin away from the group and take her outside for fresh air.
"Have you lost your mind? You don't have to entertain that hoe? We came here to have fun, not to fight", Kagome says.
"I don't know what it is, she gets on my nerves. Ever since the first day".
Rin knew exactly why she didn't like Kagura. She truly likes Sesshomaru and thought she would be a better girlfriend. Sesshomaru and Kagura seemed distant, more like roommates.
As they are standing outside, Sesshomaru walks out and walks up to the group.
"Since you took the time out to embarrass my girlfriend, I will embarrass you. Don't ever spread rumors about a possibility of me and you becoming an item, that will never happen. You are a human and to insinuate this Sesshomaru would ever lay with a human, a disgrace. I would advise you to keep the peace; I cannot control Kagura nor am I responsible for her actions. I do have a question, what will you do then since you have such an amount of boldness?"
"I apologize, I was out of line. I do not know what came over me. I can apologize for my actions, but I do not and will not take your threats lightly".
Inuyasha comes running out, "What the hell is going on? Why are you approaching women Sesshomaru?"
"I simply told her to keep my name out of her mouth and be careful of Kagura because she is in control of her own actions, but she seems to think I am threatening her".
Sango and Miroku appear outside to try to diffuse the situation. Kagura comes out and looks to Rin and then to Sango and Miroku, "There isn't a problem, just Alpha female squabbling".
Sesshomaru looks at her in confusion and looks to Rin, she looks just as confused.
Sango looks to both Rin and Kagura, so we are all good here?"
"Yes" says Kagura smiling.
Rin nods and they all head back into the studio room.
Rin was embarrassed walking back into the studio room, she was out of line, and she really wanted to talk to Sesshomaru to squash whatever beef they had.
Everyone decided Rin to lead the women and for the male lead, Sesshomaru. They worked out a routine to everyone's liking and Rin felt better about the night.
"Good job everyone, you all worked together wonderfully tonight. I cannot wait to see what you all come up with". Miroku says and concludes the class.
Rin stops Kagura, "Excuse me Kagura, may I speak you?"
Sesshomaru and Inuyasha stop and turns around at the pair.
"Yes, let's talk" Kagura responds.
"I want to apologize to you. I have no idea where that came from. Whatever I am going through, I should have not taken it out on you".
"It is fine little human. You have some spunk, I can admit, I did not like you. I thought you had a thing for Sesshomaru, but that day I seen you shooting pool, I saw you weren't. We may be able to relate more than I think. You talk shit and I like that".
"I am glad you are not pissed, I really looked like an ass".
"I am not saying we are going to be friends, but I could accept your apology".
"That is fine by me".
Rin walks off and catches up to Kagome and Yuka. She now needed to speak to Sesshomaru and talk about what has been transpiring between them. She thought they could be friends, but it seems they will never be.
"Kagome, I want to speak to Sesshomaru but Kagura gets in the way a lot. Is there a way for you to get Inuyasha to give me his number?"
"I could ask him".
