Kagura really didn't want to participate in dancing anymore. She had something else, well someone else occupying her time. She knew that her relationship was ending with Sesshomaru. It was just no one was saying that it was over. She began pursuing someone else. All the times she was late and now not showing up, she was meeting up with her new beau.

The last time they were all in class together, Kagura and Rin got into it. She realized it was not a big deal anymore and she was tripping over nothing. She appreciated Sesshomaru for taking up for her and that alone made her decide she would cancel out any beef she had with Rin. Since she knew she was truly not interested in Sesshomaru anymore, she would make a truce with the girl. She didn't promise her a friendship but let bygones be bygones.

Sesshomaru was not that interested in her anymore either, but he still had some respect for what they had. Sesshomaru was confused the night before when Kagura came out and basically acted like the argument was nothing. He was greater confused when she spoke to Rin after class and seemed to come to a truce. He now feels bad because of the words that came out his mouth to Rin. He would have never said those things out loud if he was not trying to defend Kagura. Kagura is starting to become a sore in his mouth.

Sesshomaru was beginning to suspect Kagura was stepping out. If he knew she was, it wouldn't be a problem for him to say it's over. Since he felt she was still holding on to the relationship, he would respect that and continue on with the relationship. Although, Kagura was barely at the house anymore, she claimed she was working. He began to notice her getting random calls and would have to leave abruptly. They started this dance class together, but it seems as if Sesshomaru was the only one dedicated to it.

What he didn't know was Kagura's side of things. She was only showing up because it was her word she gave and that was the only thing keeping her there. She didn't care about the relationship more than Sesshomaru. She did feel bad about not being truthful, she didn't care about starting a new relationship. Even though she never formally ended the other.

He would eventually have to talk to her about their status. He never applied pressure, but the way things were going he may have to. She could have left at any time.

Kagura was becoming embarrassing by going out, showing up to their dance sessions late, showing up late to events and now not showing up to the class. It put him in a space to where he was losing respect for the relationship. He wasn't the type to go looking for her, he would see her when he sees her. It would seem as though they would just separate without saying a word, but he would need for her to get her things out of his house.

He spoke to Rin the day before and they were getting on the right track now. He hopes he could get to know her better. Sesshomaru was so annoyed that he was so interested in the girl. He doesn't even look to her as a human anymore. She was something different to him, he could not describe it. He just knew he wanted to be around her and maybe she would let him, a being around another being.

Sesshomaru: What are you doing today?

A text message comes through Rin's phone, and it was Sesshomaru.

"Wow I was not expecting this from you, but I will take it". Rin says to herself.

Nobody needed to know about him and Kagura's failed relationship. He wanted to spend time with Rin and hoped she would be available before they went back to class. He was interested in knowing her past and what happened to make her stop dancing at that time. He hoped she would feel comfortable in talking about it.

Rin: Hey Sesshomaru! I am at work, but I am getting off in a few. Are you available for a drink? Don't judge me I had a long day!

Sesshomaru thought she cut right to the chase; he would oblige.

Sesshomaru: I know a place; you know where. Would you meet me there?

Rin: You must be talking about the one you own lol

Sesshomaru: What time should I be expecting you?

Rin: I get off at 3pm but I can make it there by 330.

Sesshomaru: See you there Rin.

Sesshomaru sits in the seating area located outside of the lounge, he patiently waits for Rin. He sees a car pull up and Rin gets out the backseat. How could he forget, she doesn't own a vehicle. He should have asked her if she needed a ride, he would do that next time, if there was one.

He stands up and walks up to her, greeting her.

"Hello Rin".

"Hello Sesshomaru".

"Let's go in".

Sesshomaru opens the door for her, and she took notice of that. They walk in and Sesshomaru doesn't have to wait for service, he could sit anywhere he wanted. During daytime hours the lounge was more of a restaurant.

Sesshomaru pulls out Rin's chair and she took notice of that. "Seems like chivalry isn't dead".

"It may surprise you, but I am from an era that chivalry meant everything, it was very much alive". He says going to sit down.

Rin smiles at him and looks over the drinks. Sesshomaru watches her and it felt so…right being within her presence. It felt like this is where he should be. He didn't even care if Kagura walked in and saw the two.

"Order anything you like; it is on the house".

"Okay big money!" she laughs.

"How was your day Rin?"

"It wasn't too bad. I was more ready to get up out of there. I was thinking maybe taking a vacation, to get away for a little while. I have not had one in a while".

"What stops you?"

"Well, I have not saved up and I would need more vacation time at work. I had to take some time out for personal reasons, so my time has to build back up".

Sesshomaru thought if he took her on a vacation, he would show her a good time. He really just wanted to watch the view she would give him.

Rin orders a classic margarita and a Japanese Long Island.

"Are you going to drink something?"

"No, I am okay".

"Not a drinker?"

"I drink occasionally but I just wanted to talk with you, to get to know you".

Rin blushes and twirls her straw in her drink. "You seem aloof half of the time, so it is still surprising when you show this side of you".

"I have always been that way, but you seem to interest me".

"How so?"

"Our run ins are weird, but they make sense".

"Yeah, they can be a little weird. I didn't know I would know you outside of dance class. But it seems as though since my friend is dating your brother, I would be seeing you more often".

"When we talked on the phone you said something but did not complete it. You said if we were to hang out, outside of class you would tell me more about you".

Rin sips her drink; she is getting nervous. She knows what he is asking about but for some reason at the same time she felt so connected to him. She wanted to talk to him, she was attracted to him and hoped he may feel that way too. He could also be acting kind and didn't want to have nothing to do with her on that level.

"If I am overstepping, please let me know. I am just interested in what would make such a beautiful dancer stop what she loves".

"Thank you". Sesshomaru nods

"I have some tragedies in my life. First, I lost my parents and my brothers when I was eight years old. I didn't have any family that would take me in, so I was adopted".

Sesshomaru never felt so much sympathy in his life. She continues, "my brothers they were very much into dancing, they were masters in every genre. I was the baby of the family, so I just wanted to be like them. My brothers were 10 years older than me, and they were about to expand their wings. I was at school when it all went down. Someone vile murdered my whole family, a home invasion". Rin pauses and Sesshomaru grabs her hand.

"You do not have to keep going. I am sorry for invading".

"It is not your fault. I wanted to tell you. I feel so comfortable with you now that I want to tell you".

Rin gulps the rest of her drink. Sesshomaru thought maybe she shouldn't be under the influence telling him this story.

"Anyway, I stopped believing in dance when I was at that age. I found love for it again when I met someone, and he encouraged me to pick it up again. With me being in love and having that support meant the world to me. He later would turn out to be someone else, he was not the person I thought he was. He was using me and would be mentally and sometimes physically abusive to me. He would attempt to keep me hostage, to keep me away from the outside world".

This angered Sesshomaru, "Is this vile being still around?"

"He is not allowed around me; I have a restraining order against him".

"How could anyone treat you that way. I have not seen you act out of character unless you are provoked". He thought about Kagura, she was picking on Rin because of him, and she stood up for herself even though it didn't come out in the best way.

Rin looks up to him smiling, she was feeling a little tipsy, but she understood what he was getting at. Them knowing each other for a short period of time but she knew he was talking about Kagura.

"I have not told anyone that except for Kagome".

"She is a good friend; she is very protective of you".

"Yes, it is good to have a friend like her. Since I revealed my guts, I hope we could be like that also, friends".

Rin finishes her margarita and breathes out. "I think I am done. You guys make your drinks strong". She laughs out.

"Are you in need of a ride?"

"If you don't mind, I do need to get myself together for another day of working," she whines.

Sesshomaru wanted to pick her up bridal style, so she didn't have to walk.

"You sure can't hold your drinks," he teases.

They walk outside and were almost to Sesshomaru's car.

Rin laughs and stumbles into Sesshomaru. She knew she looked stupid, but her nose was pressed against the lower region of his chest. She inhales and moans, "You smell so good".

There was silence and Sesshomaru closed his eyes at the close contact. The way her voice said those words and that little moan she made damn near sent him over the edge.

Rin realized her mistake and apologized. "I am sorry for being inappropriate. Can you blame me? I am tipsy drunk," she laughs trying to dissolve the situation but couldn't help but feel she looked more stupid.

Sesshomaru simply walks over to the passenger side and opens the door for her. Her face was so red, she was afraid to look at him in his face.

Sesshomaru closes the door and took a deep breath. He tried to walk so she wouldn't notice his dick was becoming erect. He tried to calm himself down quickly as possible before he got back in the car.

He opens the door and gets in; Rin looks over to him.

"It was a nice evening with you Rin. Maybe we could do this again".

"I would love to," Rin says.

That seemed to take the awkwardness away.

Sesshomaru allowed Rin to use the radio to listen to what she wanted. "Do you think we will be partners?"

"I don't see why not; we are the best male and female dancers".

"But what about Kagura? Don't you want to partner up with her?"

"As you have seen, Kagura comes and goes as she pleases. I don't see Sango or Miroku picking her to be my partner. It would take a miracle of some sort to happen for them to pick her for me".

"I wouldn't mind us being partners".

Sesshomaru enjoyed hearing that from her mouth.

They arrived at Rin's apartment, and he almost let out a whine knowing she would be leaving him. He wanted her to stay.

Rin exits, "Thanks again Sesshomaru".

He watches her until she opens her apartment door. He sat there and thought there was no getting around it now, he had to have her. It no longer mattered her weak nature as a human, he just wanted this woman to be his, and he shall have her. He just hoped after all she spilled to him; she would trust him being in her life in that manner. He would never hurt her, he only wanted to make her feel good in every aspect.
