A/N: Thank you for those supporting this story. It was just a cute little story I conjured up.

It was the big day for everyone. Some were nervous, others were confident who their dance partners would be. Rin for sure thought her and Sesshomaru would be partners; Sesshomaru thought the same. Sesshomaru had not been in contact with Kagura, nor has she come to his home. It bothered him only because she usually would contact him in some kind of way but there was nothing for the past week. He thought maybe something happened to her and maybe he should look into it, just for safety precautions. At the same time, it didn't interest him because his focus was now on Rin. He wanted to learn so much more about this little petite human woman that was thick in all the right places.

He could tell by her attending the dance and self-defense class really boosted her confidence and also toned her body. She still had her womanly curves and that was a plus. He has never desired a human woman in his life but this one hit his soul, right from the start. He had to admit to himself there was an attraction there from the beginning. He could not resist her pleasant scent and her beauty. She had a smile that put the sun to shame; it shined so bright.

These last couple days were torturous because he had not seen her. He didn't want to seem desperate and call to invite her out when they just seen each other just the day prior. He wanted her to move at her own pace and maybe she would want to see him again. He hoped that Kagura would not show up and ruin his time with Rin.

Sesshomaru walks up to Rin while she was talking to Kagome and Yuka, he taps her. "Excuse me, hello ladies".

He turns to Rin, "Hello Rin".

She turns and couldn't believe he actually approached the girls and then singled her out.

"Hey Sesshomaru," Kagome and Yuka say in unison.

"Hi Sesshomaru, what is going on with you," Rin says.

Kagome and Yuka back away from the two.

"Nothing much; are you okay?"

This was an awkward conversation; it was as if both of them wanted to say other things but kept it on a friendly level. They both were thinking the approach could have been more intimate but neither one knew what the other one was feeling.

"Yes, I am doing fine. Are you excited about today?" Rin asks.

"I am looking forward to knowing whom my partner is".

Rin looks to the floor with a slight blush, "Do you think you may have an idea whom that is?"

"I am hoping it is you".

Rin looks up and she knows her face is probably beet red. She smiles, "I hope you are my dance partner too; I think we will work well together".

"We shall see Rin what Miroku and Sango thinks".

Rin could not believe Sesshomaru actually approached her and initiated a conversation with her. She knew they were getting to know each other more but he was so standoffish, so she thought otherwise. Rin could get use to this side of him and maybe more if Kagura was not tied to him.

"Good evening, everyone, let's start the warmup and then get straight down to business," Miroku says.

Everyone follows the instruction of Miroku and Sango. This was always the best time because it got everyone pumped up for the class.

Sango claps her hands and gets the class attention. "As was stated in last class, we have a couple more groups presenting. During our last session, a couple of groups presented early, and we have chosen whom your partner is. Remember you don't have to do anything you don't feel comfortable with. It is really all about confidence and help bring a little spice into your bedroom. With that being said, let's begin".

The groups that already went sat at the back of the class watching the others present their routine. Rin sat by Sesshomaru. Yuka sat with Inuyasha and Kagome. They look over at Sesshomaru and Rin, Inuyasha says, "I think they would make a good couple".

"This is the first time I have seen Sesshomaru since I have known him of course, let anyone in besides you and Kagura. Are they still together? Kagome asks.

"If Sesshomaru is actually conversing with Rin, I would say my brother and Kagura are more than likely done. Sesshomaru doesn't really open up to people, let alone to humans, but it seems Rin has become an exception. Sesshomaru really does what he wants; he just wanted to respect Kagura and what they had for those years they were together. I told him it is time for him to move on, maybe he took my advice. Kagura is a spoiled entitled bitch. Excuse my language ladies but I never met someone that plucked my nerves so much".

"Her behavior in here was crazy; I can only imagine what it was like being her boyfriend. That would be on a different level I am sure," Yuka says.

"This waiting has got me so riled up," Rin says to Sesshomaru.

"Have a little patience Rin, it will not be too much longer".

"Right," Rin looks up to Sesshomaru and wondered if she should ask him this question. "How is Kagura, have you heard from her yet?"

"She is no longer my concern," he says looking at her from the corner of his eye.

It was a little brutal, but she understood; they were no longer together. Well, that is what she wanted to believe. A normal person would have just said they are no longer together, but his words were conflicting. Is that why he has been so open to getting to know Rin. She must have been a thorn in his side, Rin thought.

"That is unfortunate, how does that make you feel?"

"Kagura and I have a long history together and as of right now, we are not on the same page. I do not think we will ever be. It became clear when she no longer showed up for anything. I thought we knew each other well enough to at least have that talk".

Rin looks guilty and sad. Guilty because she was swooning over him while they were having problems. She was sad because it felt like he really cared about her, about what they had.

"I am sorry if I caused any problems. I know…"

Sesshomaru stops her, "We were having problems long before we met. Do not make yourself apart of kagura's and this Sesshomaru's issue. You had nothing to do with any of it".

The class claps, Rin was not paying attention to none of the dance routine but pretended she did, she claps too. Sesshomaru smirks because she seemed more attentive to their conversation than the class, which was okay with him.

There was one more group that needed to go and that gave them more time with each other, they both were grateful for that.

Rin thought about the routine she started working on for the "private dance". She was thinking about Sesshomaru when she began it. It was just her fantasizing about Sesshomaru being hers, she thought Kagura was not a fit for him. From what Sesshomaru says now, it was true.

She thought about how her ex treated her, she never thought she would be able to feel how she does now. She is now open and ready to give herself to another, but she did not know how this particular person felt about her, he could be showing acts of kindness. He did just say he and his girlfriend of several years were no longer together. She could not put that pressure on him; he may need time to heal.

The room was yet again full of applause, and it took Rin out of her thoughts. Sesshomaru was watching her and noticed she was deep in her thoughts again and smirked. She claps her hands and smile; she looks up at him and he meets her eyes. Rin was in a trance for a bit but so was Sesshomaru. She broke away and she knew she probably looked stupid.

"Good Job everyone, you guys did wonderful. If you would give me and Sango a moment to figure out whom the groups that presented, partners are".

Kagome and Yuka wanted to talk to Rin and see what was going on with her and Sesshomaru, so they stepped outside until Sango or Miroku called them in.

"So, what is going on with you and Sesshomaru. I have never seen him like that?" Kagome asks.

"Spill the beans," Yuka adds.

"There is nothing going on between us. I mean I know I am attracted to him, but I think he is too dense to see it because of Kagura. He said in his own way, they are not together anymore".

"This is your chance girl. I hope you both are partnered up together. For some reason, I feel you guys would really hit it off". Kagome says.

"Well, that is nice to say but I will not force him to want me. I am not going to wait around either because I would be wasting my time. He may not be the one I am supposed to be with, although it would be nice".

While the girls were talking, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha have a conversation.

"I see you and Rin have got acquainted".

"Relax Inuyasha, I am just getting to know Rin".

"Sure, I never seen you approach anyone like that and then you both sit next to each other chit chatting. It's alright big bro, you like her, and there is nothing wrong with that".

"I have not spoken to Kagura, nor have I seen her for a week".

"Wow this is getting serious, are you going to drop her when you see her".

"She is no longer who I yearn to be with," he says turning to look at Rin.

"Well, there goes my answer".

"Alright everyone you all may come back inside. We have posted your partners. Good Luck and until next class, sayonara".

Everyone walks up to the board, Rin waits on the side because she was not going to fight to look at a piece of paper, she was too small for that. Sesshomaru never approached the board either, he just watched Rin. He already knew, he could see from where he was that Rin was his. He just needed to see her reaction. Everyone moves and Rin walks over to the board, and she freezes. Even though she had a feeling he was, it just became reality. He was all hers now.

Breathing heavily, she never turns her body, but she turns her head and looks over to him, he was already meeting her gaze. She could not help it, but she gave him a flirtatious look, batting her eyes in a seductive way. Sesshomaru eyes dims, he smiles at her and walks off.

Kagome and Yuka pull Rin, "Let's go Rin, time for you to put that sexy dance into play for Sesshomaru," Kagome says teasing her.
