Fred POV
George thankfully caught Selene before she could make a noise from the fall, we both quickly hurried away from the classroom without making a noise,
"Didn't realise you were that strong Georgie" I say, impressed with how he is still carrying Selene as we're only now around the corner from the fat lady's portrait.
"She doesn't way a lot" he says, not even sounding out of breath, damn.
"Then again you've been wanting her in your arms for so long, maybe your been preparing for the moment where you can sweep her off her feet" I smirk catching a smile on his face,
"Cabot Dreconis" I say to the portrait, but her eyes fall onto Selene,
"Oh. my goodness! Is she alright?" she asks,
"She fainted, heard some bad news just now but she'll be fine" I say, she nods at this and opens, we hurry inside, George carefully lieing Selene down on one of the couches, thankfully everyone has already gone to bed so no one here to see Selene as she is.
"Ok, are we going to talk about what we just heard?" I ask, sitting opposite him, with him sat beside where Selene is resting, her head on a pillow over his knee,
"Yeah…I've been kind of hoping that I heard things, but with Selene fainting and you saying you heard…I don't know what to think. We're all in serious trouble" he says, I nod in agreement, a shiver going down my spine at the knowledge that He Who Must Not Be Named is in this castle.
"Poor Selene, I hope Professors Sheen and Snape know what they're doing" I say, he nods at this,
"It sounds like they have been keeping an eye on him, so at least they know where or who he is. And it doesn't sound like he's after hurting any of us. So, I wonder what it is he's doing here" I say, I see George stroking a hand through Selene's hair but tenses as a thought must have occurred,
"You don't think he's after Selene do you?" he asks, his eyes on her, I frown at this, from Professor Sheens words we know that that is something they are worried about, but if that was his plan then why wait so long? This is a wizard who is so powerful he nearly succeeded in taking over Britain, he's powerful enough so what's stopping him?
"I don't think he's after her Georgie, it doesn't make sense to wait so long, and we know from the stories how powerful he is so that can't be stopping him" I say, he seems to relax slightly at this,
"Well whatever it is, we'll be there to stop him from taking her" he says, I nod in agreement, and looking at him now, I know there isn't a power in this world that would stop him from protecting Selene. Those two love each other so much, even before they finally began dating anyone could see that they hand feelings for the other. And I myself wouldn't allow anyone to hurt her, she's my sister in every way and I love her dearly, as much as I love Ginny.
Violet POV
I'll see you in the morning Severus, and thank you, you bring me strength when I need it" I say, giving him one last hug before leaving the classroom.
I walk down the corridor, feeling better then I did before thanks to Severus, I know I can protect Selene and others from him, I'm just frightened if he ever got hold of her without my knowing, I wonder if she would notice if I had a tracking spell on her, just to keep my mind at ease.
Suddenly without warning I'm thrown against the stone wall to my left with my back against it by an invisible force, I can't move my hands and I cannot see whom cast the spell,
"Violet…my queen'
My eyes widen in fear at that voice, my heartbeat racing,
"W-where are you?" I ask thankful that I can still speak, this will help if I need to shout out or cast a spell.
"Unfortunately, I cannot stand before you in my own form, but fear not, that shall not be the case soon" he says, his voice almost ghost like with the gasp almost whispered tone.
I see a figure come around the corner and I see Quirrel coming towards me, I watch his every move, his hands tucked into the other arm's sleeve, his eyes watching me,
"You're within Quirrell?" I ask, not sure how he has managed this,
"Quirinus, show me my wife'
My eyes widen at this, he spoke but not from Quirrell's mouth. I watch him as he begins to unfold his turban from his head, my mind racing trying to figure out what he was doing until he turns around after taking his turban off completely.
I gasp at the sight before me, his…his face is on the back of Quirrell's face, his face is what I would imagine it would look like at this point, aged but its scarred in some areas, but his eyes….they're red! If I were able id back away in fright,
"Forgive me my dear…the things I must do to survive…are not pleasant but they allow me to prevail in the end" he says, looking triumphantly, his eyes looking at my face,
"I see my presence startles you" he says, I try to breathe evenly but struggle I can't show him weakness or he'll use it against me,
"I thought you were dead" I say in answer,
"My body was destroyed but my soul remained, however finding a…host to keep my essence within has been a challenge, the only chance I have is the power of the philosopher's stone, Flamell's invention, as my current position is much to be desired" he says, his eyes looking almost behind him at what I assume he means Quirrell.
"Unicorn blood…" I mumble realising now why he needed to know where to find unicorns now, Severus himself was unsure but now I think I know why,
"Yes, it allows me to remain a part of Quirrell for longer, or else his body will die along with myself" he says.
"I heard her voice Violet, my child's voice, Selene. She is smart and strong. I could not see her but I felt her presence, the blood of Slytherin runs through her veins" he says, my eyes widen at this, how much can he sense of her?
"What of her power? Did she inherit ours?" he asks, looking at me intently, of course that is what he would want to know.
"I don't know, I've only recently been reunited with her. The day you…disappeared, they found us and arrested me, they took her away from me. I had been kept in Azkaban until recently" I say, seeing him frown at this knowledge,
"They dared to touch you? Dared to imprison you within those walls! How did they catch you, did you not fight back?" he asks, I glare at him for this,
"Of course, I did! I did my best to keep them away, your wards failed on the house when your body died and I didn't expect to suddenly see them all apparate within the sitting room! I used my power as best I could but against so many trained aurors I wasn't a match, they petrified me and I was forced to watch them take her from me and used cursed cuffs on me where I couldn't use my magic" I say, how dare he think I would just let those aurors take Selene from me. But I only see him smirk at my response,
"I knew you wouldn't have just let them, I just wanted to see that fire within you" he says, I glare at him for that, I can't believe he can get a rile out of me,
"You look more beautiful then I remember, age only adds to your beauty" he says, I keep my glare on him, his words not having any effect on me, those words would have made me swoon when I were younger all those years ago, but not anymore.
"Violet?"
I hear Severus to my right but I can't look to see him, he must be careful,
"Ah Severus, my ever-faithful spy. I am proud of how you have kept up with your mission" Tom says, looking to him,
"My lord? I had suspicions but until now I was unsure. To have you back brings us great joy" he says, thank goodness he can keep up with his charade,
"I hadn't planned on making myself known yet, this needs to remain quiet for now. I will need you to find information for me on the stones protection, I know that there is the Cerberus but beyond that I am sure there are more obstacles" Tom says, I start to try to release myself and thankfully it doesn't take too much effort to break the spell, this catching Tom's eye,
"Your power has grown my love, the three of us will be a force to be reckoned with once I have my body back. Now Quirrell, we must regrettably leave before anyone sees us, we have already been here for too long and it's only a matter of time before someone or something finds us" he says, I nod in agreement, but unexpectedly he comes closer and before I can see what he is going to do. His lips press against mine, the shock alone freezes me in place.
"Until next time, my queen" he says, then after Quirrell wraps his turban around him again, they walk down the corridor and out of sight.
Severus comes into my sight and takes my elbow to lead me to my room, I'm glad of this as I don't even know how I am still standing right now.
He takes us into my chambers and onto the couch,
"Violet, I've cast a muffliato silencing charm on the room, he cannot hear us" he says, I feel like I've been shaking and until I hear him say those words do I suddenly scream out, knowing that my power is effected and bursts out of me in a wave and hits the room, I can't believe what he did just now, that he touched me! That he thought that I was still in love with him!
"Feel better now?"
I open my eyes looking to see that Severus had put a shield up to protect himself thankfully but the rest of my chambers has almost everything upturned.
"I'm so sorry Severus…I knew he would try to make contact with me eventually but…it was so unexpected and…I didn't think for one moment that he would think I would still be in love with him or on his side" I say,
"It's probably a good thing that he thinks that, otherwise he may have tried to kill you. For now we must keep this charade up. It can help us to get information from him and to help keep him away from Selene" he says, I process this and nod in agreement, its what's best. To keep Selene safe.

Hi everyone, I've finally done an update. And I've also been going through all the chapters and there is some changes that have happened, mostly changing where I may have accidentally put in Selena and not Selene which is her name.
