Chapter 9

Epilogue

After beating Afton, I handed him over to Azazel so that he can send him directly to Hades, who will soon place him in Malebolge. I will never forget see Afton wake up from being unconscious, seeing the terror in his eyes as Azazel explained what was about to happen, and waving him 'good-bye' as he was teleported to the realm of the dead.

On the way back home, I said, "Hey Ddraig, have the children's souls passed on?"

"Yes, they have. But, they wanted me to give you their thanks for helping them get revenge so they could."

Earlier today, we were all eating breakfast, when a knock came at the door. Asia went to answer it, and came back with a big box; I didn't need to look inside to know what it was.

"Hey Issei!" Said Asia, "This package for you came with this music box, and a letter."

I was confused why the music box was there, but assumed the letter was form Henry. However, when I read it, it said this:

Dear Issei,

I've been protecting and watching over the other spirits for so long, and times were so rough, I didn't think we'd ever be free. However, word of Afton's defeat quickly got out to me, and I partnered with the Archangel Michael to locate the souls of his other victims and offer them refuge in Third Heaven. As for the box that I'm pretty sure you already know the contents of, I left this as a token of my gratitude, and because Henery would want you to have it. But, if you, or anyone in the House of Gremory need me, just wind up the music box, let it stop, and I'll come to your aid. Thank you, for everything.

Sincerely, The Puppet.

All this news put a big smile on my face, but not nearly as much as the new titties I'm going to be staring at soon! Oh! Matsuda and Motohama are gonna be so jealous! But before I go enjoying this sexual wonderland in a box, I need to explain something:

Remember in the last chapter, when Afton asked me what I'd do if I lost someone as close to him as Chris was to him? Well, I emit, he did touch a nerve. When he asked me that, it reminded me of when I lost Asia to Raynare, the rating game to Riser, and Asia again to Diodora. But even thought I at first thought he could be right, I remembered that the people who I fought when trying to save them, weren't even slightly innocent. That day I swore to myself, that when trying to stop bad people I would do everything in my power to do so, but would never allow myself to become them.
