Notes

Hey guys, this is a worseman and this is the first part of the second arc in this crossover fanfiction.

This chapter is honestly hard for me to write because I had to think of the next scene of the story, the character's personality, and the flow of this arc. This is going to be difficult for me to post the next chapter even though I won't regret it and this story is simply for fun to write. I might rewrite this chapter soon, later, or not. As for the rest of my other story, I'm sorry, but I have to focus on this story until the end of the first arc unless I continue to do this story only and forget others as well or do others after this posted chapter, to be honest.

If you spot any grammar errors or spelling in this story, I will try my best to improve my story.

In the open grass field with few trees, the portal appeared and the DenLiner came out and later slowed down to stop at its track. Haruto, Its door revealing Takeru, walked outside down to the ground, followed by Haruto and Ryotaro. As they were outside, its door closed and it began to move and went to the portal which appeared in front of it. The portal closed, leaving them on their own. Ryotaro and Takeru were sightseeing the view of the land while Haruto complimented, "So, this is French countryside."

"Quite so, Haruto. It's really refreshing for us to be here," said Takeru.

"Yeah," Ryotaro nodded as he agreed with Takeru.

"By the way, we should start looking for Ritsuka and others since they might be already here," Takeru said to both Haruto and Ryotaro.

"There's no need, Tenkuji-san."

The trio turned around to see Archer walking towards them.

"Archer-San," greeted Takeru.

"It's intriguing for you to own a transportation train that can pass through time," Archer said, impressed towards Ryotaro who scratched his left cheek with his index fingers in embarrassment.

"Heh, it's nothing."

"We should regroup with the Master and others. Let's go," Archer told the trio as he turned around from them and began to walk, followed by the trio.

[~~~~~~]

Ritsuka and Mashu were simply sightseeing the field as Mashu was a little excited to be here outside of Chaldea although the location was at singularity while Artoria and Cu stood guard to protect them if anyone would be around here, showing their hostility. Ritsuka was amazed at the open field when he and the group arrived at this singularity and felt cool by passing through the breeze. He was glad that Mashu was able to see a sky as his promise to her despite being in the singularity but he wondered if he might be able to bear the responsibility to save the future.

"Something wrong, Senpai?"

Ritsuka turned around to see Mashu being concerned but quickly answered to lessen her worries. "It's nothing, Mashu. I'm just distracted by sightseeing."

Artoria spotted Archer and Kamen Riders walking towards them.

"Archer," Artoria called, catching everyone's attention to look at Archer and Kamen Riders.

"I'm glad you all safely teleported," said Haruto, who remembered Roman and Sento's conversation of the Rayshift's damaged condition.

"Yeah, it seems so," Ritsuka replied, nodding.

"Yes, I agree we were teleported by accident last time. This time, it's a proper teleport via coffin with no physical anomalies," said Mashu.

"Except for them," Cu added, pointing at Kamen Riders. "But I can't blame them because we might teleport at random places."

"Don't jinx it, Lancer," Archer said, narrowing his eyes at Cu.

"Oh, shut the hell up, you bastard," Cu replied, scowling at Archer.

"Fou! Fou! Fou!"

The group turned to see Fou coming out from behind Ritsuka and they were slightly confused as they never saw Fou at all after the briefing. Maybe they were distracted by the worst outcome of humankind's incineration and not noticing it at all.

"Fou? Did you tag along again?" asked Mashu.

Ritsuka squatted down in front of it and reached out his hand towards it. It hopped onto his hand and climbed to his shoulder. He stood up and looked at Mashu to ask, "Did he sneak into your coffin?"

"Seems that way, he must have sneaked into mine or Senpai's coffin. Luckily, Fou was unharmed. Since he is attached to one of us when we return, he will automatically return as well," Mashu replied with a smile.

"At least, he is a harmless small animal," Cu mumbled, but not noticed Fou looking at him with its glare.

"Well, in that case, no problem, right, Mashu?"

"Yes, we share the same fate."

"That's good because you don't have to worry about getting stranded," Ryotaro said, remembering the bad episode where the DenLiner were hijacked, leaving him, Hana, and taros brother behind in any period such as the Japanese Edo period or his early time.

"That's right," Mashu said, realizing. "By the way, everyone. I think I have confirmed the time axis coordinates. Looks like it's the year 1431."

"You mean the Hundred Years War?" Takeru guessed.

"That right, Tenji-san, and we're in the middle of the war, but this should be the war's respite period."

"What do you mean 'Respite'?"

"The Hundred Years' war did not fight for the full one hundred years as the name implies."

While Mashu explained the term, Archer's eyes noticed something in the sky so he looked up to see. His eyes widened in shock. Artoria first noticed Archer's surprised face and followed his gaze to see what he had seen, followed by the Cu, Kamen Riders, and Ritsuka, who were curious to know about Archer's reaction. They were surprised at the sight while Mashu still not noticed their action but explained.

"Captured Knights were released for monetary payment almost every day… Senpai?"

"Look at the sky,"

"What is… Huh?"

The group was in shock to see an enormous ring of light in the middle of the sky as they had never seen before because it appeared out of both nowhere and ordinary. Ritsuka's communication device wrist rang and Romani appeared on the screen.

"Yes, we're connected! Not the best quality, but I've got a video feed now too!" Roman said happily before noticing the group looking at the sky. "Wait, what's wrong, guys? All of you staring at the sky like that?"

"Doctor, I'll send you visuals. What is that?" Mashu asked as Ritsuka showed the sky to Romani.

Roman was in shock at the sky. "This is - A ring of light… No, some form of magecraft cast over the satellite orbit? In any case, it's gigantic. At worst, it's as big as North America? Hmmm, no records show such phenomena occurring in 1431."

"Doctor, Is this an effect of the singularity for the disappearance of the future?" Archer questioned.

"Yes, it's surely one of the reasons," Romani answered. "We'll have to analyze it on our end…"

"What are we supposed to do next besides staring at it?" Haruto asked Romai.

"You guys concentrate on surveying onsite; start by searching for leylines," Roman replied to instruct the group for the next course.

"That's what the doctor said: Explore the area, make contact with the people of this era, set up the summoning circle, there are many things to do," Mashu reminded the groups with simple detail.

"We cannot singly rush everything so we have to do it one at a time, not slow but not fast," Takeru suggested.

"Sounds good to me, Takeru," Haruto replied, agreeing with Takeru

"If you said so," said Cu.

"But first, we need to move to a more populated town or city, to begin with as this year is temporary in peace until the war continues," Archer suggested the first step to the group.

"Agree, Archer. Some locations might already be abandoned or destroyed due to war," Artoria agreed with Archer with the plan before looking at Ritsuka, "Master, Let's get moving."

"Alright, Artoria, if you prefer me to call your real name in this mission," said Ritsuka.

"It's okay since this is not Holy Grail War, Master, but we might not be careful if we encountered the enemy servant," Artoria assured Ritsuka but with a minor warning.

"Right, I almost forget that the Holy Grail can make anything true, especially summoning a servant if I'm not wrong."

"You're not wrong, kiddo, but I'm hoping that the trouble will not come for us at first," said Cu.

Archer clicked his tongue in annoyance at Cu's words that might lead them to trouble although he was right for the most part that he was honestly wished for. Nonetheless, he has to be careful with their surroundings as they might encounter something unusual or be ambushed on the way, including his worst luck. However, he was more concerned for Ryotaro because he was honestly ridiculously bad luck as himself. He does not know how he was able to survive it all the time.

"Let's hope we try to find people," Ritsuka said.

"Yes, Sempai," Mashu agreed.

1431

Orleans, France

The group began to travel throughout the land as they never saw a single person in the field until Mashu saw a group of armed soldiers walking. She stopped and told the group, "Everyone, stop."

"What's wrong, Mashu?" asked Ritsuka.

"Looks like a French scout brigade," Mashu replied, pointing at the group on the opposite side. She turned around to Ritsuka to ask. "What do we do? Should we attempt to make contact?"

Takeru could not help himself but think that he forgot something important and helpful related to the Hundred Years War. His group needed to remember because this might prevent them from getting caught in a tight situation if possible.

"Isn't it dangerous?" Ritsuka asked Mashu with a concerned tone.

"Master's right. We're not sure if they are enemies or not," added Artoria, being cautious.

"Well, it's worth a shot because they are the only ones we encountered so far," said Ryotaro, defending Mashu's next action.

"Ryotaro is right. I'm sure we come to a peaceful resolution," Mashu said with a smile as she began to wave at the group with hospitality.

Takeru suddenly realized what it was that they were not supposed to do during the hundred years of war so he tried to stop her. "Wait, Mashu-"

"Hello, excuse me. We are travelers-"

It was too late as the group of soldiers stood quiet, confusing both the Chaldea group and Kamen Riders as Mashu stopped talking by their reaction and they soon became hostile by taking out their weapons such as spear and sword with their both fearful and furious faces under their helmet. One of the soldiers screamed, "Eek! Attaque ennemie! Attaque ennemie!"

The French soldiers began to rush towards both Chaldea and Kamen Riders' group to attack them hastily without their strategy.

"I knew this was going to happen," Archer groaned.

Ryotaro ducked down to avoid the swinging sword while Takeru moved to the right to dodge the thrusting spear and Haruto leaned back by dodging the swinging sword. The three servants summoned their respective weapons and they tried to disarm the french soldiers with Archer shouting, "Don't kill them because it will cause paradox if we do that!"

"I wasn't planning to," Cu said as he swung the below part of the pole of his spear, hitting the back of the french soldier's helmet, causing him to fall.

Artoria, now wielding an invisible sword in her hand, countered the french soldier's attack and hit with a powerful blow to disarm the weapon from the french soldier's hand. Ryotaro clumsily fell to the ground and was about to be stuck down but later saved by Monotaros by possessing him. M-Ryotaro rolled to the right to dodge and quickly stood up to fight back with his fist. Mashu summoned her shield and blocked an incoming attack behind Ritsuka.

"What did I do wrong?!" asked Mashu.

"BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T GREET THEM IN FRENCH!" M-Ryotaro shouted as he punched the french soldier.

As the fight continued, A projection of Roman, Sougo, and Geiz appeared at the worst timing.

"Yoo-hoo, We're free so let us see how you're… Wait, why are you surrounded by an armed group?!"

"Well, Mashu accidentally greeted them in English so they saw us as a threat," Ritsuka explained the situation.

"Really?!" shouted Roman in surprise.

"You guys are in the Hundred Years War Era?" asked Sougo.

"Yes, we're in 1431, but is it because the war is about between England and French?"

"Honestly yes."

"I apologize, my mistake. I should've greeted them in French," Mashu apologized.

"Don't apologize, Lady! Because I'm having a nice and relaxing fight!" Cu assured with a little excitement as he countered another attack.

"Doctor, I believe that combat is already unavoidable," Mashu declared as she readied her shield to attack.

"You're starting with a fight? With the French elites even?!" Roman asked loudly in shock.

"The way I see, Doctor, they have no choice but to fight back because of a single mistake," Geiz said with brutal honesty.

"W-Well, let's calm down first! That world is isolated. No matter what happens, a time paradox can't occur. So, engaging won't be a problem, but…"

"Doctor, Give us an idea," Mashu asked. "Don't you have any French Jokes for times like this?"

The group sweatdropped at Mashu's question because the joke would not get them out of the fight since they were already in combat with the French Soldiers for their life.

"Hell, if I know, I'm a loner! But wait, let me think… I just need to think of a witty joke, right? Like 'knock, knock!'" suggested Roman.

"J'entends une voix idiote de quelque part… Toutes les mains, preparez vox armes! Ils sont trop mefiants!" The french soldier said as he and the remaining ones readied their weapon to attack the chaldea and Kamen Riders' group.

"I apologize, Senpai and everyone. It was wrong for me to expect something from the doctor."

"Hey, don't be like that, besides what you're saying is pure nonsense anyway!" M-Ryotaro answered.

"Thanks, but I think it would be to harm the locals. We should attack to hold them back!" Mashu said, shocking the group.

"What the heck are you talking about, Mashu?!" Ritsuka asked with a shocked face.

"Did I just say something wrong?" Mashu asked with her worried face.

"In that case, hit them with the back of your blade! Limit the bloodshed to a minimum! Back of the blade!" Roman instructed loudly Mashu with a mixture of concern and worry tone.

"You mean back of the Shield, Doctor Roman," Geiz corrected Romani but ignored.

"But then Mashu, how would you.." Ritsuka was about to ask until Mashu came up with a ridiculous suggestion.

"I-I'll think of something! FIREEE!"

"No, burning is out of the question too!" Roman quickly denied Mashu's suggestion.

"How about you fight them just like Captain America?" Sougo suggested an idea to Mashu with a comic superhero idea.

Geiz looked at Sougo with a deadpan face and said, "I don't think throwing a shield at a normal human being is a good idea because you know…"

"...That's a good point, Geiz," Sougo agreed with Geiz as his suggestion was pretty terrible.

Archer knocked soldiers down with the below part of the handle of his dagger and turned around to the group, shouting, "We need to quickly finish up!"

"Agree," Artoria agreed.

The fight soon ended with the group of French Soldiers retreating.

Mashu sighed, "Physical fatigue aside, the mental fatigue is overwhelming."

"Good job using the back of your blade." Ritsuka praised Mashu sincerely with his smile.

"I didn't even know that was possible with a shield. I learned something today." Mashu replied happily.

Artoria dematerialized her invisible sword and looked at the Kamen Riders with praise. "You seem to be able to fight well on your own."

"Thanks, because we always fight in our daily life with our enemy when someone's life is at stake," said Haruto.

"Did you always go to help someone in danger even though they were strangers to you?" Artoria asked curiously.

"It is because of our instinct as Kamen Rider, Artoria," Takeru replied with an answer, "Besides, we won't call ourselves that title if we are not going to help those in trouble."

'Such a chivalry display. It reminded me of my childhood hero story.' Artoria thought while being amazed.

"It seems that they retreated, Master. I suggested that we quietly follow them back to their fort to get a glimpse of the situation." Archer suggested to Ritsuka.

"Archer is right. Let's quietly chase them and ask what's going on. Try not to aggravate them next time. Make sure to talk to them in French, Okay?" Roman advised.

"Roger that, Bonjour, Dr Roman!" Ritsuka said as he deactivated his communication wrist device.

"Let's hope we're not going to have another fight," Cu mumbled.

"Don't jinx it, Dog," Archer warned grimly at Cu, upon hearing sharply from him.

"Oh, shut up."

1431

Orleans, France

The group marched on foot in the direction of the soldiers' retreat while having a little conversation amongst themselves to stray away from their boredom.

"Say, I wonder how the hell did you three become like heroic servants?" Cu asked curiously.

Haruto paused for a bit to think of an answer to Cu's question. He then answered, "Let's just say that we normal people either obtain or choose the power. Our powers are different from one another such as mystic, science, technology, or others. Though most of the riders are good, others are evil"

Artoria raised her eyebrow. "Evil?! How can you say that?"

"You need to understand, Artoria-san. All the riders' powers originally came from the same source of evil we mostly fight but many of us chose to use this power for good," Takeru explained to Artoria.

"I see…" Artoria mumbled as she acknowledged Takeru's clear explanation that she understood.

'Huh, these riders must be heroes of justice…' Archer thought while hearing their conversation behind him. His mouth turned into a smile and he chuckled softly. 'It reminds me of my idiotic dream, but they got it better than I am.'

Upon arriving at the destination, Archer stopped at his track, signaling the group from behind to stop as well. Ryotaro widened his eyes to see the state of a fort in the distance. Given the damage, it could have easily been mistaken for an ancient ruin. However, the burn marks were on the ground and the damage to the outer walls was still fresh.

"What's wrong A… Oh…" Ritsuka trailed off as he came to stop next to Archer and the others quickly joined them.

"This… this Isn't right…." Mashu spoke out in disbelief as she inspected the damage in the distance. "We should be in the respite period of the hundred years war…"

Cu scoffed, "Clearly someone didn't get the memo."

"Since the French soldiers went here, and it's our best lead so far," said Takeru.

"We need to take a look inside to see the fort and try to get an info to see what happened," Ritsuka instructed the group.

Most of the group nodded and went straight to the fort to get an understanding of what had just transpired.

1431

Orleans, France

"This is… This is awful."

The building interior inside the fort was in the same state as the outer wall despite the outer wall having sustained much of its integrity. Some were either damaged or burned and served as a shelter for the wounded and the dead rather than a defensible location.

The hologram of Romani flashed up next to her with a solemn look on his face. "It's a complete ruin on the inside… The outer wall is more or less intact, but you can't call this a fort."

"Nothing but wounded soldiers here," Ritsuka said, seeing most of the wounded french soldiers around the area.

"That's right. Even though they're not in an active war," Mashu agreed before explaining about the respite, "In 1431, Charles VII of France entered a peace treaty with Philip III, an ally of England. Of course, I'm sure there were some skirmishes-"

"But not this kind of skirmishes," Archer said, examining the area.

"Ah! Ici, ils reviennent!" One of the soldiers shouted at his friends, pointing at the group as a threat.

"Bonjour, nous sommes des voyageurs," Mashu greeted in French. "Nous ne sommes pas la pour vous faire du mal. S'll vous plait, posez vos armes, monseiur."

"Vous n'etes pas… L'ennemi?" The soldier asked.

"Hmph… That was rather easy. Perhaps they're rational now..." Romani whispered to Rituska before frowning to himself. "...Or they have no more fight left in them?"

"Excuse me, sir?" Artoria intervened as she shuffled up to the soldier, who was looking more relaxed as he signaled the others to stand down.

"Oui madame?" The soldier looked at her with confusion.

"Why are there so many injured? Didn't your king sign the peace treaty?"

The soldiers scrunched his eyes at her before dropping his shoulder and they widened. You… you don't know, do you?"

"What do you mean?" asked Ryotaro.

The soldier gulped before turning to the group with an expression of pure fear. "The King is dead… He was burned by the witches' flames."

"...What?" Mashu asked in shock with her widened eye as she turned to see Ristuka sporting a similar expression as her. She turned back to the soldier to ask more. "What do you mean burned by Witches' flames?"

"It is Jeanne d'Arc… She's risen from the dead as the 'Dragon Witch'," The soldier sputtered, shocking the group.

"Jeanne d'Arc. As in the Saint of Orleans?" Takeru clarified soldiers.

The soldier nodded his head for Takeru's clarification. "England retreated quite a while ago. But, where have we to run to? This is our home, but there's nothing we can do."

"Jeanne d'Arc is a witch?" Mashu repeated in shock.

"Is she a Heroic Spirit too?" questioned Ritsuka, snapping Mashu out of shock.

"Yes, Senpai. Jeanne d'Arc is a top-rank Heroic Spirit due to her recognized honor that she was officially made a saint after 400 years. She accomplished many achievements such as saving France at the age of seventeen in the late stage of the Hundred Years War, endured gruesome torture and humiliation daily by England after being caught and she even held onto her prayers even while burning as her heart remained true." Mashu explained the simple history of Jeanne d'Arc.

Suddenly, the group heard the soldiers shouting in panic, "ICI! ILS SONT LA !"

The group turned around to see a group of skeleton Soldiers charging with their raised weapons in their direction.

Romani shouted out immediately. "Magical signals are heading here! Familiars using human bodies. Skeleton Soldiers!"

"I can see that." Cu scoffed, summoning his spear in his hand.

"This time it's different… Everyone, you can be as wild as you want!"

"Master, order?" Mashu turned to Ristuka who gave her a serious look.

"Deal with the skeletons and ensure none get past."

"Finally… I was getting bored sitting on my ass," Cu grinned ferally and readied his spear in his fighting position.

Artoria summoned her invisible sword while Archer summoned his bow to provide fire cover and Mashu shifted to stand protectively in front of Ristuka. Takeru and Ryotaro took out their transformation belts while Haruto brought his hand with his ring down to his belt buckle.

GHOST DRIVER!

DRIVER ON, PLEASE!

Haruto flipped the switches on his belt.

SHABADOOBI TOUCH HENSHIN! SHABADOOBI TOUCH HENSHIN!

Haruto raised his red ruby jewelry ring on his left hand and flipped down a small guard. Takeru took his eyescon and pressed the left-hand side. He then opened his belt and slotted it inside before vanishing as his ore parka flew around him.

EYE! BATCHIRI MINAA~~! BATCHIRI MINAA~~!

'Monotaro,' Ryotaro called Monotaro in his mind.

'Alright, Let's go!' Monotaro replied with excitement.

Ryotaro pressed the red button and held his black pass.

"Henshin!" Three riders proclaimed as they activated their transformation.

KAIGEN ORE!

LET'S GO! KAKUGO! GO-GO-GO-GHOST! GO! GO! GO! GO!

FLAME! PLEASE!

HII, HII, HII-HII-HII!

SWORD FORM!

Haruto, Takeru, and Ryotaro transformed into Wizard, Ghost, and Den-O.

"Ore-Tachi Sanjou!" Den-O proclaimed as he does his signature pose.

Both Artoria and Archer were amazed at Kamen Riders' transformation before focusing on the battle. Wizard changed his right-handed ring to the connect ring and summoned his sword out of the red magic circle while Den-O assembled four parts from his wrist holder into his sword and Ghost simply summoned his sword in his hand.

"Go!"

At Ritsuka's shout, both servants and Kamen Riders rushed forwards towards the skeleton soldiers with their weapons ready.

The group easily destroyed the skeleton soldiers. Archer fired his bow at the skeleton soldiers, destroying them one by one, Cu pierced his spear towards the single skeleton soldier before taking out and swinging around the nearby one, and Artoria displayed her sword skill as a knight, striking down one after another. On the other hand, Kamen Riders destroyed with ease as Den-O ruthlessly swung his sword at skeleton soldiers, Ghost dodged the attack before hitting, and Wizard swung his sword while dodging. However, the skeleton soldiers were increasing in number no matter what they did.

"There's no end to them!" Artoria shouted.

"I know, lady. They sure don't know when to quit," Cu said, swinging his spear across the skeleton soldier.

"This is getting too difficult!" Mashu agreed.

'Hey, Momotaros. Can I switch?' Ryutaros asked Den-O

"Hey, don't steal my…?"

Ryutaros then entered Den-O's body and kicked Momotaros out. Den-O pressed the purple button and swapped his pass over the symbol.

GUN FORM!

The Red armor pieces flew off Den-O's body and changed their shape along with colors from red to purple. It then attached to his body; Purple thigh guards and a purple chest-piece that had two protrusions that looked like dragon claws holding pearls and two silver swirls just under his pectorals. His helmet was now equipped with yellow-edged with silver markings and a purple dragon face-like visor. Kamen Rider Den-O Gun Mode.

"Hey, can we beat you? Can't hear you!" Den-O called.

Den-O took out the pieces off his sword and assembled them into a gun. He then began to shoot the skeleton randomly, endangering the group in his crossfire.

"Watch where you are firing at! You're worse than the red archer!" Cu shouted angrily at Den-O, pointing at Archer, who groaned in annoyance before firing another shot.

"Everyone! Stand back!" Wizard shouted as he took out his finisher ring and scanned his weapon before switching his sword to a gun.

FLAME SHOOTING STRIKE! HI HI HI!

"Oh man, I just joined, but I guess I have to finish up quickly," Den-O said before scanning his pass as the eclectic currents flowed through his gun.

FULL CHARGE!

Wizard and Den-O fired their flame and electric blast from their gun. Both blasts were intercepted and combined into a powerful blast. It destroyed the remaining skeleton soldiers, leaving no trace behind and a large explosion as their entire bone bodies have been disintegrated. The battle was over.

"Phew. Good work," Mashu praised the group including herself.

"It was nothing, Kyrielight-San. You seem to be able to fight well, especially you, master, despite you being a novice," Archer praised both Mashu and Ristuka.

"You guys, I can't believe you took them on," The soldier gaped in disbelief after seeing the group in action.

"...We're used to it," Mashu replied awkwardly towards the soldier.

"Anyway, could you please explain this from the start? Is it true that Jeanne d'Arc has been resurrected?" Takeru asked the soldier.

"Yes. I took part in the siege of Orleans and the ceremony, so I remember it well. Her hair and skin color are different, but there's no question that she's the saint from the past. Hearing that she'd been captured by the English and burned at the stake, we trembled in fury, but..." The soldier gulped, "She was resurrected and through a pact with the devil, no less!"

"What do you mean the devil?" Mashu asked, making the soldier turned around to her. "Like the skeleton soldiers earlier?"

The soldier shook his head, "Non madame. At least those we can handle ourselves..."

A roar was heard, making everyone look in the direction in the sky and saw a group of vaguely shaped creatures but as they descended, they were revealed to be a scaly reptile creature with wings. Their eyes glinted with murderous and hunger for destruction.

"Damn it, just as I thought!" The soldier cursed before turning to other soldiers. "Here they come, engage!"

Another soldier shouted in both fear and anger, "Come on, stand up! Dragons are here! If you don't resist, they'll eat you!"

"Large Creatures are shown to be near you! They're moving in fast!" Romani's voice shouted in concern from Ritsuka's communication device.

"Visual confirmed! But that... It can't be-" Mashu was speechless of seeing the winged creature.

"Dragons!?" Ritsuka guessed loudly.

"Yes, but no. They are a subspecies of dragons; Wyverns," Artoria corrected Ritsuka while raising her sword in her fighting position.

[~~~~~]

In the ruined street, the cloaked woman ran in the direction to the location where Wyverns was at with a banner pole with a sharpened tip. She gripped it tightly as she had to run as fast as she could to reach there before the situation became worse. However, she did not expect that Shouichi was now following her from behind so she tried to talk him down to stay out of trouble.

"Shouichi, it's too dangerous to go with me. You need to stay here," The cloaked woman reasoned.

"Sorry, but I'm not going to stay here and do nothing because everyone's life is at stake," Shouichi replied with determination.

"But… you have no chance to fight the wyverns!" The cloaked woman doubted Shouichi's ability. She does not want him to be reckless and killed because he was just a normal being and has no experience in fighting.

Shouichi chuckled and overtaken the cloaked woman. He turned around his head behind her and smirked. "Who said that I can't fight?"

The cloaked woman was confused until she noticed Shouichi hovered his both hands over his waist and the buky belt appeared, shocking her.

[~~~~~]

Archer jumped backward from the wyvern's fire breath and fired his bow, killing it. Wizard and Den-O kept firing at the wyverns in the sky while Artoria, Cu, and Ghost cut down those who were above the ground. Despite their determination, they could not afford to rest for a moment as the swarm kept coming, tiring them out.

Den-O groaned in annoyance while focusing on shooting at the flying wyverns and complained, "How many flying lizards are there?!"

Ghost took out his brown eyecon and pressed it, creating a hologram of a front-view firing revolver pistol with both blasts on both sides between it. He opened his belt and slotted it inside. As he closed, a brown parka flew out of his belt.

EYE! BATCHIRI MINAA~~! BATCHIRI MINAA~~!

Ghost pushed his belt's lever.

KAIGAN! BILLY THE KID!

(Bullet ricochet)

KETTOU! ZUBATTO! CHO KENGOU!

(Electric guitar and bullet ricochet)

The ore parka vanished and the brown parka put itself on Ghost. His mask lit up with a brown glow as his faceplate was the same as the hologram and his hood shaped like a cowboy hat. His brown jacket was armed with a cow skin guard shoulder and the bullet magazine straps attached to his chest and arms. Kamen Rider Ghost Billy the Kid Damashii.

Ghost changed his weapon into a gun and a small mechanical bat-like creature flew out of nowhere. It covered itself with its wing, transforming into a clock, and pushed the upper part forward to make it like a secondary gun by itself. He began to fire his duel weapons at the wyrms perfectly without missing his shot.

'What is this feeling?' wondered Archer as he turned to Ghost. 'It's as if he is almost a servant but it's not.'

"Master!" Mashu shouted as she jumped in front of Ritsuka and held out her shield to block a stream of fire.

The wyvern, completely focused on Mashu and Ritsuka, did not notice Artoria jumped forward towards it and swung her sword through its neck. Its head fell to the ground and rolled while its whole body fell to the ground as well. Artoria turned to Mashu and Ritsuka and asked, "Are you unhurt?"

"No, we're fine, and thank you."

Artoria nodded, accepting the thanks from Mashu, and went back to fight with the wyverns. However, her eyes caught wyverns dived down towards the scared young boy, and tried to rush towards him but it was too far to reach him in time. All of sudden, the wyvern was kicked in its stomach and fell to the ground roughly and the assailant landed on the ground and stood up, revealing to be a black body-suited figure with golden armor on his shins, bracers, gold, and silver chest plate, silver curved shoulder guards and his helmet with silver mouthpiece, red eyes and a golden crest on his forehead. Kamen Rider Agito.

"Agito!" Ghost shouted, noticing Agito in person.

Agito turned his head behind the boy and said, "Run to safety right now!"

The boy ran off.

Agito hit one of his hip buttons. His chest plate and right arm turned to red and his right silver curved shoulder guard became a golden long curved shoulder with another normal curved behind it. A golden hilt emerged out of the middle of his belt and he grabbed to pull it out, revealing it to be a sword with its curved tips. Kamen Rider Agito Flame Form.

Agito rushed towards the downed wyvern and he both slashed and thrust its chest. He pulled his sword and charged towards another. Both Mashu and Ritsuka were amazed to witness a new Kamen Rider taking down the wyverns in his path.

"Is he a Kamen Rider?" Asked Roman.

"Yes, he is and his rider's name is Agito," Ghost answered Roman while firing his weapons.

"Soldiers!" The cloaked woman's voice called out. "Douse yourselves in water! It will provide you temporary protection against the flame!"

The group turned around to see the cloaked woman, who no longer had her cloak on, revealed to have a long blonde ponytail that extended down to her knees. She was dressed in her dark cloth with a steel plate torso and gauntlets, a long black waist skirt that extended down to her ankles, and a steel headpiece on her forehead. Her waist was strapped with a sword sheath. She ran into the front line shouting, "With me!"

"This is…" Mashu turned to the woman in confusion before she refocused on protecting Ritsuka.

"Oh!" Roman shouted out. "This woman is a servant, but her energy is really weak…"

"Focus, you two!" Archer shouted at Mashu and Ritsuka as he fired another shot. "We can't let you die here yet."

The female servant sidestepped the wyvern when it descended to the ground and tried to snap at her and plunged the pointed tip through its skull, instantly killing it. Ghost attached his secondary gun to the barrel of his main gun and the secondary gun's barrel extended. Both combined into a rifle. He scanned his rifles to his belt buckle and pointed it at a couple of flying wyverns.

DAI KAIGAN!

GAN GAN MINAA~!

Ghost pressed the trigger to fire his rifles.

OMEGA IMPACT!

The projectile bullet flew out of Ghost's rifles and hit through the flying wyvern to another as he killed them in a straight line.

After a few minutes of fighting, the battle ended with Artiora slashed down the last wyvern. The Kamen Riders canceled their transformation and the servants simply relaxed from their tension of being vigilant to spot any surviving wyverns. Mashu breathed out in relief and began to inspect the surroundings. "...I believe that was the last."

"Good job, everyone!" Ritsuka shouted out to his servants.

Cu merely gave a mock salute while Artoria's mouth turned into a small smile and Archer simply smirked.

"Shouichi-san!"

Shouichi turned around to see the trio riders walking up to him with their content expressions.

"We're so glad that you arrived to assist us," Takeru said, feeling relief. "Did Tsukasa brief you on the situation of this world?"

"Yes, and it looks very grim, to be honest, but I'm really happy to help you out in this situation," replied Shouichi with a smile.

The visual projection of Roman appeared and began to congratulate, "All right, fine job everyone! I was watching with sweaty palms and sweets in my hand!"

"What?" Mashu's voice became dangerously low as she turned around to Roman's projection and asked, "Doctor. Those were the sweets that I got, right?"

"Huh? What? Is that right? I found them in the Command Room next to the tea so I thought…"

"...I got them as a token of gratitude, for when we return from this Order," Mashu said angrily with her narrow eyes. "Needless to say, they weren't for you, but for Senpai, who no doubt bravely stood on the frontlines."

"Mashu…" Roman said with a smile. "You've become such a thoughtful person…"

Roman began to put sweets in his mouth to eat while affecting Mashu, who was forced to watch her token of gratitude for Ritsuka being taken away, to be furious at him. Ritsuka shook his head at the display even though he noticed Roman's nervousness. Suddenly, Kota's voice called out.

"Wow! Doctor. You just ate Ritsuka's sweets because you're just nervous from watching"

"It's not that I want to…" Roman stopped talking when he turned to Kota and saw what shocked him so he asked. "Wait, Is that my leftover cake?!"

"Yeah."

"Don't eat my cake!"

Ignoring Roman's shouting at Kota, Mashu began to say without looking at Ritsuka. "...Master. When we return to Chaldea, please reserve enough combat resources for one attack."

Mashu tightened her grip on her shield as she continued, "I've registered one more enemy that I'd like to hit with the "back of my blade.'"

"Mashu, take a breath. It's not worth to beat the doctor to the pulp over a small thing," Ritsuka calmed Mashu as he does not want Mashu to commit a possible murder on the doctor by accident if she does mean it by hitting. He turned to see the servant walking to them while being flirted with by Cu but her expression was looking somewhat comfortable, and he noticed Archer's scowl and Artoria's frown at Cu's action from behind them.

"Impossible, you're-" The soldier was shocked at the servant and began to shout in fear. "No, no way! Run! The witch is here!"

"Eh, a witch?" Mashu questioned dumbfoundedly as some soldiers and citizens ran in every direction in fear, leaving the group alone.

The group became a little suspicious of the servant with cautiousness until Shouichi came between her and them with both hands up and calmed them down. "Everyone, just relax. She is not the person that you think she is."

"How can we trust that you are telling the truth? '' Archer questioned Shouichi bluntly.

"Well, I don't know much about her because I just met her today but she hadn't done anything evil including killing me before we met all of you here. So please, let's just relax," Shouichi reasoned with the group with the truth.

The group hardly believed Shouichi's truth but the trio Kamen Riders looked at each other and turned to him. Ryotaro began to say, "Shouichi-san is telling the truth."

Before one of the group was going to ask, Haruto added to Ryotaro's answer. "Ryotaro's right. There's no point for us being cautious of her ever since she has been aiding us to fend off the wyverns and the proof that he's alive."

Mashu turned to Ristuka with a questioning look and asked, "Master?"

Ritsuka was in a pensive mood for a moment after hearing from Ryotaro and Haruto about the servant and looked at her with a nod. "Alright, We'll trust you for now."

At Ritsuka's words, Artoria, Cu, and Archer let their guards down but their weapons still remained or guard around the servant.

"I thank you enough for listening reasonably," The servant said with a smile. She then proceeded to introduce herself, "My Class is Ruler. My true name is Jeanne D'Arc."

"Jeanne… D'Arc," Mashu muttered in shock although she knew her because of the scared people's shouting of presumably Jeanne's identity.

"I thought she was dead," Ritsuka said to Mashu.

"We'll talk about that later. It is nothing we should speak of in front of them," Jeanne said, ignoring Ritsuka's dumbfoundedness while looking at the scared people who remained here.

"She's right. It's better to leave right now or else the people over there might act rashly." Artoria agreed with Jeanne.

"Yeah, I can see that," Cu said, looking at the scared people's expression.

"Follow me, please," Jeanne gestured to the group while walking away.

"Let's follow her. She is the only person who knows the clue related to this era," Ritsuka instructed the group.

"Kyu Kyu Kyu!," said Fou.

"I agree as well. She looks weakened, but she's a Servant too. I'm sure she's aware of the situation in this era. Let's ask her for details."

"Yeah, that might prove to be the break that we need." Sento's voice interjected.

"Mister Kiryu. When did you arrive?"

"Just now after Jeanne D'Arc's introduction."

1431

Orleans, France

In the hall of the throne room, A woman who was similar to Jeanne D'Arc, but her appearance was much different. Her complexion and hair were identical to the corrupt version of Artoria and her armor was much darker. She was sitting on the throne chair alone, looking honestly bored to wait for the report of the destruction of all villages, towns, and cities in France done by the servants that she summoned with the addition of a spell on each of them. While she waited, she suddenly heard footsteps and voices calling her. "My, my. So you must be a dragon witch who desires this country to burn to the ground until nothing else but ashes."

Jeanne Alter narrowed her eyes angrily at the front to see the hooded man walking towards her without a single care. However, she sensed neither hostility nor friendly from him but she could tell that he was human but not human at all. Nonetheless, she began to question with her angry tone, "Who the hell are you and how dare you enter this castle easily?"

"Oh, I'm just here to explore your castle before meeting you and as for my name, I won't reveal it unless I feel like to," The hooded man answered, making Jeanne Alter lose her patience a bit, but he continued, "In truth, I'm here to see your only work because it amazed me."

Jeanne Alter raised her eyebrow and asked, "How so?"

"You were resurrected back from the dead at the hand of England and declared a war on your own country for betraying you and their faith in god with your flame of vengeance! Hahaha!" The hooded man explained proudly with a laugh. However, his laughter slowly became softer and his mouth became frown as he spoke, "However, your work is worse and boring as I continue to watch."

The hooded man was suddenly consumed by a pillar of flame from the floor where he was standing and Jeanne Alter pointed her sword at him with a scowl on her face. As the flame died down, his corpse body was however nowhere to be found and his voice appeared out of nowhere, surprising her.

"Quite the temper that you have when I criticize your way of work, Jeanne D'Arc."

"Where the hell are you so that I can incinerate you for good?!"

"I'm not going to face you but I will offer you a little assistance to help you."

"I don't need your damn help at all!" Jeanne Alter retorted

"Whether you like it or not, I will nonetheless help you," said The hooded man.

"Shut the fuck up!" Jeanne Alter shouted in anger, having enough of him.

"It seems like I have to leave for now."

The throne room became quiet after the hooded man's last voice. Jeanne Alter became furious by his criticism and wanted to burn him when he was going to appear. However, she did not care about that for a bit. She only cared about the result of the destruction of the country and what she was willing to accomplish until nothing else was left to stand against her. Even so, she cannot help herself but be troubled to think of the hooded man's words before disappearing; was he going to help her or use her for his intention?

Extra Notes

Like I said at the beginning of this chapter, it is honestly hard for me to write.

I tried my best to write a fight scene but I had to cut it short due to my lack of imagination. I'm having a hard time writing the characters' dialogue and personality no matter how many times I watch both franchises and read their lore and story despite I think I caught their personality well in this chapter.

As for the hooded man, I simply make him eccentric but he will get bored or disappointed when he continues to see someone's same action or plan over and over again unless there was a twist that interests him. His power was yet to be revealed except his power to summon Dimensional wall but I had to rewrite this power because from what I read on Kamen Rider Wiki, only Decade Characters and Swartz and White Woz, who stole Decade and Diend powers, can use it.

If you all have a problem with it along with my story, I will try my best to rewrite it to suit your taste.
