Welcome everybody! To this, my third crossover idea in this public directory of mine.

This one is an idea that I would love to write and can easily become a full story, but I have still to set my final objective with it. The only thing I have already set is that I want to avoid Beacon's fall and allow Jaune and co. to complete their studies (or at least reach the fourth year) before joining the fight against Salem.

Well, let's get into it.

Project #03: A new Legendary Age.

"Here they come!" the warning cry echoed through the halls in a dungeon with torches in the walls that illuminated the figure running on it, making an metallic sound with each step.

He was a tall man, dressed in a silver Armour that only left his head out in the open allowing his blonde mane and blue eyes to be seen. All of it, together with his immaculate white mantle on his shoulders made an imposing sensation of nobility and holiness.

Stopping in a moment with a slight skid, he quickly spun around with a sword and a giant shield appearing in his hands in flashes of light, and got ready to face his pursuing foes. He didn't had to wait long as two big orcs jumped on him with their clubs in the high.

Steeping forward, the knight intercepted both of them with his now shining shield, launching them backwards and into the ground, yet he couldn't follow with another attack as two arrows impacted on his shield. Lifting his sight, he saw two archer kobolds loading a more bolts into their weapons.

"Here, you mangy dogs!" called hitting his shield with his sword, making sure that he was the target. Two more arrows impacted into his shield as another figure rushed past him with a crimson cape flowing in the air.

It was another blonde man, this one with green eyes, dressed far lighter as he only had a breastplate for heavy protection over his blue tunic, and carrying a huge, double edged sword "Good work with the distraction, D'Arc!" called as he, with but one slash, killed both archers.

On the other hand, the one named as D'Arc didn't have any time to answer as he had to fight off both of the orcs alone, managing to keep then at bay thought getting some damage, and shouted in a hurry.

"Where is the support?!"

One whistle cut through the air, and moments later arrows hit both orcs, making them flinch in pain and giving D'Arc time to slash two times with his glowing sword, making a shining cross out of divine energy before launching them back once again, right in where a rain of arrows fell upon them just for the swordsman to come and finish both with a powerful slash.

"Hehe, sorry! It took time to switch from the whip to the bow and I'm not used to my new class yet" apologized a beautiful woman of pink hair and golden eyes wearing a provocative getup of a dancer that only covered the bare minimum. In her right hand she had a bow and in her lower back a quiver.

"D'Arc! Are you okay?!" at her side, another women just as beautiful but with black hair and blue eyes dressed in a cute pink and white dress rushed towards the knight, aiming at him with her staff "Heal!".

From the staff's gem, a white, holy light emerged and surrounded him, healing his wounds. A few seconds later the knight was fully healed.

"Much better now, thanks Ako" he smiled, gratefull.

"Darling!" the healer threw herself into his arms and hugged him tightly in happiness.

"This isn't the moment to go lovey-dovey you two, we are in the middle of a dungeon" the swordsman reprimand them as he walked towards them with his sword laying on his shoulder.

"It's okay Swchein, let them enjoy themselves for a bit".

"Sette, do you not hear the army of foes that is coming this way?" asked her as he pointed over his left shoulder, towards the sound of a large amount of enemies approaching them.

"It's okay, after all, everything is already set" then the dancer spun around to face at her back "right, Master?".

"It's as you say, Sette! I, the great Wizard Apricot, have everything ready!" a bit further away from them, a man with purple hair and amber eyes dressed in "mystical" clothes that let his full thorax out in the open (at side of what his cape's straps "covered") and holding a staff with it's gem shining with crimson light high into the air.

"Well, everybody, behind master" called D'Arc and all four of them walked calmly towards the wizard as a few more than 30 orcs appeared behind them, shorting the distance between them fast.

"Feel the power of my marvelous staff improved with premium objects! Meteor Storm!" roared the wizard as his staff fell.

Above Apricote, huge balls of fire appeared one after another, bombarding the monster at the impassive sight of the adventurers. It didn't take long for all of the monsters to be completely vanquished.

"Well, I think that's enough for the day" the wizard turned around to face his party "let's go to the usual pub".

"Yeah!"

(A bit after)

For Jaune arc, live was simple. In the mornings, he went to the house of the only teacher in Ansel to learn, afterward he usually helped around in his house and then, in the afternoon, use his scroll computer to log in and play his favorite MMO "Legendary Age", where he was the Crusader D'Arc, proud member of the small guild "Alley Cats".

They where far from being the best players in all "LA", but none of them really cared about that. They only wanted to have fun exploring the huge map of the game and write their one adventures, only to end the in-game day in a pub in the main city of Prontera, and chat calmly after hours of exploring dungeons. Just like they were doing at the moment.

Apricot: Today was a good day, and the best of all is that we didn't any casualty today.

Swchein: Honestly, I'm shocked. Usually D'Arc would have died a few times and my magnificent moi would have to keep the mobs at bay until Ako managed to revive him.

D'Arc: I wouldn't die so often if you were as effective as today all the time! You all always let me alone against everything!

Swchein: Isn't that the job of the tank?

D'Arc: And the DPS' job is to kill the mobs while the tank keeps them in one place, and you never are on time for that!

Swchein: What? Wanna fight?

D'Arc: Me? The question is if you want to lose again.

Swchein: You only had 100 Hp left! If you haven't blocked that last hit I would've won!

D'Arc: Blame your luck, it was my Guard skill that blocked that one. Then again, if you had better armor you might had survived for a bit longer.

Swchein: That's a waste of resources, the weapons are more important.

Sette: Huh? Then why did you made me focus on my armor first?

Swchein: Your new class is a support one, your main focus is to survive while you throw buffs and/or debuffs while the rest attack. The DPS like my magnificent moi must focus on their weapons.

Apricot: About support, good work today Sette, what do you think about your new class?

Sette: Isn't bad, but I really regret that I didn't choose the Hunter class, I could have a wolf at my side right now TT_TT.

Ako: But! The Dancer clothes are cutter than Hunter's!

Sette: But the wolf cub was super cute too! _

Ako: Kuh! Is so hard to just settle with only one! _

Swchein: You both really take the game too lightly.

D'Arc: That's fine, right? If they couldn't enjoy the game how the want to, then there would be no reason for them to play it.

Swchein: If you put it that way, then it can't be helped.

Laughing a bit, Jaune looked to the corner of his monitor, seeing that it was a bit late and it would be better to go to sleep already. Tomorrow was an important day after all.

D'Arc: Well, today I'll stop here.

Ako: So soon? I wanted to chat a bit more with you...

Apricot: She is right, while is a bit late, we usually keep going for at least half a hour more, can we know why?

Jaune pondered about it for a bit, and then choose to explain them.

D'Arc: Tomorrow I have to wake up early to take a bullhead towards the city of Vale, I can't miss it.

Ako: Then, we will be in the same place for the first time ever?!

Apricot: That's right, the rest of us do live in Vale, while you said once that you lived in a village close to the city. Do you have something to do here?

D'Arc: You could said that, I want to apply to Beacon this year.

Swchein: Oh? The you will be a huntsmen?

D'Arc: I hope so.

Apricot: Don't you come a bit early? For what I know, the next year will start in six months from now.

D'Arc: I want to look for a place to stay for a while and get a job, and maybe try and find an instructor that could help me to rise my chance to get in.

Apricot: I see, it's a good idea. If you like, I could look for a apartment complex for you.

D'Arc: I would really appreciate that! Do you know one that is close to the East Valiant Station? That's were my flight will land.

Apricot: Actually yes, there is one close by that I see every day, it has a good fame because it's low cost and good quality.

Sette: ...and it's pastry are just delicious! Specially the vanilla one!

Swchein: oh! I know that terminal, there is a really good cafe a couple of squares away from it.

Ako: Ah, that is too close to where I live!

Jaune took a few moments to process what his screen showed. After all, the less strange thing on it was Sette's message as she and Swchein were neighbors and friends from a young age and it wasn't rare to see one complementing the phrase of the other before they ever finished, like in this case. The really strange thing was that...

Apricot: This is a surprise, it seems that all four of us lived not only in the same city, but also in the same area.

Swchein: Are you kidding me? And now that D'Arc is moving here for a while, all of us will be in the same place. Do coincidences like this one really exist? Lol.

D'Arc: It seems that they do, though is really hard to believe it.

Apricot: Truly, is something really unlikely, yet is a opportunity too good to miss out!

Before anyone could ask anything, the wizard's avatar did a pose and fireworks burst at his back, forming the words "Alley Cat's first face-to-face meeting".

Jaune barely recognized the fireworks as a premium object, his mind was more focused into process the message displayed.

After years only playing with them online, he was about to meet his guild in the real life. And one of them was his "wife" in-game.

End of the chapter.

Well, at this point is obvious that is crossover with Netoge no Yome wa Onna no Ko Janai to Omotta? (And You Thought There Is Never a Girl Online? ).

Now, from where did this idea come? Is actually simple:

Not long ago I started reading the LN, specifically a fan made version in which the translator does his/her best to point out the real-life games in which the author based Legendary Age. The one that he used the most was Ragnarok Online, a game that I had heard about but I never played before.

The novel made me try the game, that surprisingly stay online, even if the official one (known as iRO for the fanbase, you can find it in steam) seems to be little more than an empty husk of it's past self, so, a lot of it's original players migrated to private servers, I myself play in the Origins RO server.

Playing it, I choose to go for a class that was as balanced as possible and, to me, it was the Crusader (Paladin). It didn't take long for me to notice two things: the first one is the class that is the equivalent of Rusian in Netoge, and the second one is that Jaune's canon semblance works a lot like the class' skills, together with the fact that Jaune uses a Sword and Shield combo and… well, I think is easy to see where my mind went to.

The story is simple: the five meet for the first time, Jaune's lack of training comes to light, Apricot gets him an instructor, a month lather the four of them choose that they can't just leave him go alone into Beacon and start training too. In my idea, those five (in Jaune's case, six) months of training should allow them to enter Beacon and survive in it, but they will be far from the top of their generation.

The semblances will be:

For Apricot, Wizard's Wisdom. It allows him to manage all, be aura, dust ot anything else. Taking dust as an example, Apricot don't need to train nor use a device to regulate how much Dust he have to use for something, he only needs his semblance. To Apricot, learning how to use and using Dust will be easier than it is for Weiss.

For Swchein is Warrior's Might: it will allow him to make all what he can carry in his arms a hundredth of it's true weight or make it heavier… I'm still debating myself if let it in just the double of the original weight or allow him to train and improve that to five times the true weight.

I still don't have a name for Sette's but it will allow her to have full conversations just by making eye contact, being faster and more effective if there is trust between her and her tarjet. For example, with a stranger it could take a minute to "say" him a single phrase, to Jaune it will take only a few seconds, and to Swchein will be almost instantaneous.

For Ako I have Frigg's Blessing. It's similar to Apricot just stronger but completly focused in energy, water and wind dust, and specially in a certain Dust art that I want to implement on this story and make it hard as hell too learn: healing and support.

Jaune's will be the canon one, just named as "Odin's Blessing" and, together with energy and maybe hard-light dust, will allow him to use the offensive skills of RO's Paladin like Grand Cross.

… yes, the main point of this story is to bring an "adventurer" party into Remnant, sue me… though Sette's real-life style would be closser to the Hunter class than the Dancer class, but will also use a whip.

About the story by itself I still have a lot to plan, specially about Apricot and Swchein genre's. Making both of them men would make my life easier, specially as this story isn't aimed to become a harem… let's be honest here, is impossible to convince Ako to allow that. With both of them as males, their future pairings would be a lot easier to make, but a part of me don't want to turn them into men but keep them as women like in canon, what do you think about that? I'm open to opinions. Canon gender or not?

Well, it's all for today. Stay safe people!
