So this had started as a joke and then it just kind of spiraled out of control? Either way, enjoy this new story, if this gets enough attention I might continue? But until then, enjoy this chapter and the next chapter!

Time was a weird thing when it came to traveling between worlds, but also mainly dimensions. Kurama had forgotten about that honestly and now he was regretting that fact. He may have only spent a decade in the demon world, but when he went back, it had been centuries.

The fact that when he came back, the house was completely empty and had been for a long time started a wave of foreboding to hit him.

Luckily though, the house had been grown rather than built so it was still standing with no real damage of time done to it.

Sadly though, Kurama had left behind his children and had promised them he wouldn't be away for too long. Kurama had kept his promise, it wasn't too long, just 10 years, but that was only correct in the demon world. He was so worried with pacifying his children at the time that he forgot to actually account for the time ratio between the dimensions.

Kurama didn't even set his bag down as he started to wander through the house, taking in the familiar scents. All the scents were faint and stale, which didn't help his worry.

Through the fault of his own for not taking in the time ratio, it seems that he had missed a big portion of time with his children. They had probably given up at some point of him getting back at a reasonable time; hopefully they had figured that it was due to the time ratio and not because he was abandoning them.

He didn't really hold much hope of a note or anything, but maybe context clues can tell him where they went. The fox demon hybrid thinned his lips after a sweep of the house didn't show much. Going through the scents, it seems like Chomei was the last to leave but the others were too faint to know the order.

Deciding he had left them for far too long, Kurama didn't even pause as he headed to the front of the house. Taking out a seed from his hair and putting it in an empty pot that are just left around for this very purpose, he sent a pulse of energy to cause it to grow and bloom into a flower.

Pushing another pulse of energy saw that the special energy sacs that grew with this flower were filled. This flower didn't have many properties, rather than just storing a little bit of energy that helped it live for very long depending on the amount of energy left. The sacks could be cut off as little emergency energy reserves but unless it was in a growing environment, they died quickly.

In this case though, this was the perfect plant to leave behind. It would let all of them know that he was back in this dimension, and because of how much energy he put, that would stay bloomed for a couple of decades; long enough time to find them, or they find him.

Stepping out of the house, he placed the flower right in front of the front door so that it wouldn't be missed. Kurama's tails twitched in irritation though as he considered that this dimension wasn't too large but it would definitely take time for him to find all of them.

Taking a deep breath, Kurama centered himself and transformed into his full human form of Shuichi Minamino. With the discovery of merging both forms, he gained the ability to change to each side of the spectrum willingly though characteristics remained. He usually stayed in his new natural merged form because that was most comfortable, but if he was going out, there is no reason to make himself a target.

Though, he would be a target anyway with his physical appearance. His bright red hair was now tipped in the silver of his demon form, regardless of what appearance he took. His eyes had also changed to his more natural gold, but there was just a ring of green around the pupil. He can't say that he really disliked his new appearance, just that it brought him more attention.

He entertained the idea of leaving Hiei a letter. But he now knew, with the time dilation, it would take a long time for Hiei to finish his business in the demon world to come join them here. Plus, if Hiei did come early, he was fast enough and knew Kurama enough to find him relatively easily.

Yusuke always had a possibility to visit, but it probably wouldn't be anytime soon. Kuwabara and Yukina were due to have their child sometime soon when he left, so they also wouldn't be visiting, not for centuries (in this world) at least.

Stretching out his now 'human' body, Kurama centered himself again and tried to pinpoint one of the bijuu's chakra. There were faint blips, but one of them felt wrong to him, which shouldn't be possible, seeing as they were beings of pure chakra. Frowning, he turned towards the blip of his eldest and started to walk over.

Being gone for so long, Kurama didn't really know what civilization was like anymore, but hopefully the land had remained somewhat the same. While he could travel fast, he didn't want to accidentally cause something just because he didn't know the new rules/boundaries, so walking it was. He only hoped that nothing terrible had occurred, but with his absence of time, he probably would come across something.
