Summary:The Team didn't know the type of help they were to expect from a person named 'Blood' but when it came, suffice to say that it was appreciated... even if a certain someone acts like an unrepentant jackass around the blond Mythic.

Walking along a sidewalk in what seemed to look like a seedy environment, and then stopping along an empty space block, was a youngish looking individual: a male to be specific.

'Um…. this is the place, right?' he, aka the young male - who had a mane of gravity defying, sunny blond, spiky hair, a pair of cerulean blue eyes, a trio of thin lines on each side of his cheek that looked like whiskers, a lean, muscular build, and a light skin tone - was garbed in a long sleeve, white, round neck shirt which did nothing to hide his muscular figure, a pair of dark orange pants, a pair of white and orange sneakers, a short sleeve, orange, turtle neck jacket, and a necklace with a green gem attached to it and - with one hand holding onto the backpack hanging on his left shoulder - the young male looked at the numbers and letters scribbled down on the piece of paper he held. 'Yup…' and, with a frown, he looked up at the empty space. 'If I'm reading this correctly, this is the place… but then… nothing is here. Does dad know about this? I better call him and find out.'

Then, after the paper in his hand disappeared in a sparkle of gold light, an instant later, a smart phone appeared in the blond's hand and after tapping the screen a few times, he placed the phone in his ear and waited.

"Hey, dad?" Thankfully, he didn't need to wait long. "I'm at the coordinates you gave me but I don't see any tower. Did you know that when you gave me that Key? How the heck am I supposed to use it without a slot to stick it in?" he paused. "A test of fate? What's that supposed to mean?" he paused. "Wait, dad? Dad! Damn it." he clicked his teeth in annoyance and looked at his phone. "Freaking jackass. Etrigan may speak in rhymes and I understand him way better than I do you… and you wonder why I prefer him sometimes over you."

And, like with the paper, the phone disappeared in a flash of golden light and, after reaching into his jacket pocket, he pulled out a golden key, started to walk towards the open space that was supposed to be where his destination was, aid paused.

'Wait,' he frowned and looked around. 'Something feels… off.'

His eyes locked onto an empty space on the parking lot nearby, lingering a bit on a particular spot, before they shifted and got locked in a staring contest with the blood red eyes of the cat staring back at him.

'Huh... why do I feel like there's more to that cat that meets the eye?' he thought. 'I-is that even a cat?' However, as he was about to dismiss the cat he was staring at, shifting his focus away from it and towards the space he was heading to, his ears twitched. 'Just now, that was someone screaming!' his blue eyes snapped to the building where the strange cat(?) was perched in front of. 'There!'

And, much to the surprise of any onlookers who may have spotted him, the blond disappeared from his spot in a flash of yellow light.

Unbeknownst to the whisker faced blond, as he was staring at the spot in the parking lot, he was indeed looking at something and that something, was an invisible aircraft that held five individuals: Aqualad, Miss Martian, Artemis, Superboy and Kid Flash and, at the behest of Red Tornado, currently the five teenagers were on a mission.

"So, I'm not the only one who saw that, right?" Kid Flash was the first one who spoke. "Please tell me I'm right."

"Relax, Bay-Watch, you're not going crazy." Artemis was the one who responded. "Despite how much I wish that were the case."

"Um, guys, he was able to find the Bio-Ship, even if it was cloaked." Miss Martian stated with concern. "And I'm pretty sure the key he was holding is kind of like the one Tornado gave Aqualad. Should we be worried?"

"Statistically, it stands to reason that someone else might have a key to Tower of Fate so someone wanting to be on the same journey as we are - even if unknowingly - is not that hard to believe; in this case, however, I believe it is better to be safe than sorry... which means we will have to be the first ones to access the Tower." then, after speaking, Aqualad looked at the black haired, muscular, male. "Superboy, were you able to pick up on any of what he might have said? Did he have any clue as to how to get in?"

"Not really." Superboy replied, and his brows furrowed. "He was talking about something regarding a 'test of Fate'? Whatever the heck that means."

Aqualad brought out the Key Red Tornado gave him. "I believe I may have an idea."

"I think we're gonna have to shelve that, Aqualad." and at Kid Flash's words, the Atlantean and his teammates glanced at him, aka Kid Flash; then, at what his hand was motioning to and what they saw was not only the fact that the blond from before had reappeared, but he had done so with their person of interest standing next to him in a relaxed manner, until the tower the team was looking for was finally revealed as soon as, following instructions, the blond put his key in an invisible hole. "Well, I guess we now know how to get in…"

"And apparently, the mysterious blond is on our side." Artemis hummed. "Good. I'd hate breaking his pretty face."

Kid Flash snorted and rolled his eyes.

"Um, guys," Miss Martian said. "Do we sit here or…"

"Our mission is to ensure that the Helmet of Dr. Fate is indeed safe." Aqualad reminded his team. "Therefore, even if Mr. Nelson seems alright, we have a job to do and we cannot leave until we make sure it's done. Move out team."

"Roger Aqualad."

And with that, we bring this scene to a close.

Author's Note: Well, as you can see, the Team weren't the only ones interested in finding the Tower of Fate and no I don't mean the Witch Boy and Abrakadabra. And Speaking of the said Witch Boy, unlike the Team in Cannon, the blond arrival was able to spot the cat, and figure out something was off with it, and, once more showing his skills, he was able to spot the Bio-Ship in camouflage. Along with that, it's shown that he has some sort of 'storage' ability and Teleportation plus, thanks to his skills, he was able to swoop in and save Kent from torment hence why he and Naruto were standing in front of the Tower.
