"Hello! And welcome to a very special edition of Midoriko talks! Tonight we have a guest you all have been requesting for years! Please welcome! The lead singer and guitarist for the hit band! THE DEMONS! DEMON LORD HIMSELF!" Midoriko introduced enthusiastically making the crowd roar in applause and confessions of love.
A spot light shown brightly upon heavy red velvet curtains, that pulled away to reveal Sesshomaru.
He wore a stunning white three piece suit, a purple silk shirt with a white silk tie.
She shook his hand and gave him a hug, Sesshomaru jested she go on ahead of him being the courteous gentleman he was.
His smile was brilliant and breath taking, he sat crossing his legs, waving and smiling at his adoring fans.
The applause didn't settle even as the studio put up quiet down signs.
Sesshomaru and Midoriko smiled at one another laughing at the amount of love he still received after an almost twenty year absence.
Sesshomaru waved more and thanked everyone, he than motioned for them to quiet down and take their seats.
Everyone cheered for a few minutes longer before finally settling down.
"Wow! It seems your fans are ever loyal!" Midoriko joked.
"Yes, I feel very thankful to all of them." Sesshomaru smiled and waved to them all again earning a cheer.
"Well you look great! Even without the make up and the eyes, I mean I think everyone was expecting the full demon ensemble!" Midoriko said motioning to his clothes.
Sesshomaru chuckled, showing off his beautifully white smile he began to speak.
"No, not today. It wouldn't feel right? You know? I agreed to this interview for one reason, and I'm able to get that point across without the whole red eyes, and demon markings look." Sesshomaru said slightly laughing at how silly he was in his younger days.
"With or without them you still look absolutely amazing! I mean have you aged? Do you age?" Midoriko joked again.
"Thank you, thank you very much. If you ask my kids they'd definitely say you were wrong so yeah. I mean, I can admit I still look good,-Sesshomaru waited to finish as the crowd cheered and whistled.- but, it's for my wife. I keep up with her, she's a knock out for sure!." Sesshomaru smiled.
The crowd whistled and cheered some more.
"Well I can't wait to meet the woman who was able to tame the demon lord himself! She must be quite an amazing woman! And I know you's have been having some trouble recently to? Am I correct? Your ex the famous Kagura? She released a tell all book, about how you and her married and had kids and separated?" Midoriko spoke a little more softly and questioned Sesshomaru.
"No, yeah. So what had happen there, was Kagura had called and you know asked for permission to speak about our relationship and of course I told her yeah it's fine you know I never hid any of it from my wife she knows everything, she was there for most of it. But Kagura took it and twisted it, she had said she was my wife and you know all the things that Rin and I had gone through she wrote about. And I mean she could have stuck to our relationship, but she spoke on my marriage with Rin, and that I was not ok with. So I actually ended up having to sue her for it. It became this whole legal thin and now she is fined like a hundred grand anytime one of her copies are sold. So yeah that was crazy." Sesshomaru spoke honestly.
"Wow, that's crazy. How did your wife feel about all this? Is she ok with your talking to Kagura? And your kids! I mean I think I'm still in shock to find out you actually have kids! How do they feel?" Midoriko questioned with a lighter tone to her voice.
"Well Rin is amazing, she always has been. She's very understanding with obsessive fans or exes. She has always handled it very well, and she handled this just as amazingly. She knows the truth, she was there when I spoke to Kagura, and I don't think Kagura realized that at the time, which is why she thought she could get away with this. And my daughters at first didn't really know anything. When that all happened, they was like excited to read the story cause they were fans of you know my band and me, but funny thing is? Rin and I had decided to keep it from my girls that I was ever, you know famous, or a rock star and all that. So they had no clue until just a little while ago back that I and demon lord were the same person." Sesshomaru said lightly chuckling.
"What!? Oh my word! How can you keep something like that?! And they are fans you said? So they was like crushing on their daddy Huh?" Midoriko joked.
"Oh yeah, it was so awkward! Like easily the most awkward day of my life! So Rin and my girls are super close, and they love music, and they love rock music mostly which makes me super proud! And you know, Rin was one of my groupies, so we know the whole fan girl world and the type of love and obsession a fan can have for the singer. So like when my girls liked a band Rin and I would try and encourage the crush, and tell them you know yeah it's cool to like them and all but you know just understand it's a crush. So one morning me and Rin are in the kitchen we're drinking our coffee it's early and the girls come running in screaming, mom! Dad! We just heard this new band they are so cool! And my youngest is practically drooling saying, yeah the lead singer is so hot and whole bunch of other things and when they show us my album cover I like spit coffee out everywhere! Like it just went flying!- Sesshomaru laughed, along with the crowd and Midoriko.- And I'm standing there like Rin we gotta tell them like that's not ok! And meanwhile Rin and I are like having this silent parent conversation, cause you know that's what we do, it's like when you can't speak just use the parent eye thing and yous just understand perfectly! So anyway Towa my oldest and Setsuna my youngest are arguing, like no I love demon lord you can wolf prince and they was just going on and on about how like hot demon lord was and it was horrifying! Like honestly the worst morning I've ever had!" Sesshomaru laughed at his own embarrassment.
Once Midoriko calmed herself from laughter, she spoke to Sesshomaru again.
"Wow?! Well that's, I guess you don't expect that down the line? Like you never think you know one day your kids are gonna love you like that?" Midoriko joked.
"No, no definitely not. And when Rin told them, it made it worse cause they just refused to believe it. Like no way, dad is just dad he isn't hot like that. And it was hilarious trying to prove to them that me and demon lord are the same person. Awkward, but hilarious. They are actually here, they are waiting with their mom, because they still didn't believe it." Sesshomaru smiled.
"Oh wow! That's, I guess now they see? Now they have to believe you right? So are they gonna come on the show tonight as well? I know Rin will be making her appearance and I honestly can not wait to speak with her!" Midoriko smiled as the crowd cheered.
"No, not today. You know, if they feel comfortable one day talking about it, that's fine. But for now you know I think it's better if they don't. A lot of their friends are already gonna know what's going on, lotta people in our small little community, you know I don't expect things to be as quiet as what I'm used to. But I do t wanna expose them to all the media and ruin their chances at normalcy with school and friends and all that." Sesshomaru cleared his throat.
"Yeah, I understand. It can't be easy. So did they know, any of your old band mates? Which I know is a sensitive subject. I also wanna just give my personal regards to you and to the family who just suffered such a horrible loss." Midoriko spoke softly.
"Yeah, thank you. Yeah, they knew them the same way they knew me. You know never knowing who we really were, they was just like oh well that's an uncle, and you know we was all shook up hearing about his passing and you know it's unfortunate it really is. He had a wife he had kids and you know the media just kinda summed it up to an overdose on drugs you know what they assume rockstars do! And that was just not the case. And that's actually why after so many years I accepted to come on and do an interview as long as I can get the truth out there." Sesshomaru said with a softer tone of hurt.
"Yes, I completely understand. And our condolences to the family. So what was it that you wanted to clear up about a former band mate?" Midoriko asked.
"Well, it wasn't an overdose like the tabloids are saying. He was actually on a lot of medication, he had you know his own problems, which I'm not gonna broadcast it's no ones business honestly. But Ugh, his medicines just got crossed in the wrong way, and you know his doctor prescribed him something that didn't work well with this other drug and it caused him to have a heart attack which killed him. And you know we, we are still getting new fans, and they are young, like my girls are only fourteen and they love my band and they loved the messages we sent out, granted not all of them positive, but I don't want anyone thinking you know, the demons did drugs we should do them to! And no, that was actually something we always stood away from. We didn't like anyone around us who did it. And for the tabloids to be saying that he overdosed on heroin that's just not true and that's not ok." Sesshomaru said sternly and honestly.
"Yeah, no, I agree with you. And I wanna thank you for sharing that with us. And I think that's truly beautiful, that you wanna assure a new generation of kids to stay off of anything negative like that. We actually have, a tape of your last live performance together, and we wanted to play it if that's ok?" Midoriko asked jesting to the camera.
"Yes, yeah, that's totally fine. I'm kinda interested in seeing it, I don't remember honestly what our last performance was." Sesshomaru joked.
Midoriko had mentioned the upcoming of a commercial break and when they returned the performance would be shown.
The night went on with Sesshomaru talking about life, family, marriage and why the band had split up when they did.
They did not split because of problems between each other, but because the record label wanted Sesshomaru to publicly date Kagura, as she was better for his image.
When Sesshomaru refused to break up with Rin he was told he'd be replaced. His band mates however all stood behind him and quit as well.
Once home his daughters joked about how the lead singer to the band he was part of wasn't all that attractive, and they honestly don't even know what all those fangirls who begged for Sesshomaru to sign things saw in him.
Sesshomaru and Rin laughed, they had a light snack that Rin Sesshomaru fixed for their kids together, got them into bed and went up to ready for bed themselves.
While Rin brushed her teeth beside her husband, the thought of one of the questions the audience members had asked came to mind.
"Sesshomaru? Why don't we have sex like we used to anymore?" Rin asked a mouth full of foamy toothpaste.

Rin sighed in disappointment. The words and actions of some young fan girl haunting her mind.

"I'm sorry, I never wanted you to feel guilty over my decision. I knew you would have left if you knew. And I wanted you. We don't have to do this, I'm perfectly fine with waiting until Saturday." Sesshomaru chuckled lightly as he kissed her shoulder.
"No I want to! Please, I'm sorry I thought so horribly of you. I know you love me, and I love you. I just want my husband tonight." Rin smiled. She cupped his face and kissed him softly.
Sesshomaru smiled and kissed her back. "Ok, only if you get under the sheets, your body is like ice!" Sesshomaru said as he stood to remove his pants.

He looked back at his wife who smiled. He crawled from the foot of their bed on top of her. His long white hair had finally grown back to the length it was when they first met.
He had cut it in order to hide from paparazzi. She loved how it hung around him, curtained them as they kissed.
