Green - Day 1 - sessxkag week 2021
Kagome kneeled down in her garden as she pulled out weeds from between the herbs. As she pulled out what she thought was a weird looking weed, it was actually a four leaf clover.
She sat back in the lush grass and held the lucky charm in front of her as she twirled it between her fingers.
A fond memory came to mind as it brought a smile to her face.
Just as she was lost in the memory, her mate appeared before her looking down at her with curiosity.
"What makes you smile?" He asked as he stooped down to look at what she held.
"I found this as I was weeding out my garden. It's a four leaf clover." She looked at him softly, "I remembered something involving one of these."
"Care to share your memory?" Sitting next to her.
"Yes but you should remember it too." Handing the tiny charm to him and leaning on his shoulder.
"I remembered when Rin was picking flowers in the field by the village and she found one of these. She pulled me over to show me and asked what it was."
"What's this flower Kagome? I've never seen one of these." As Rin pointed to the solitary green plant in between the wildflowers.
"Kneeling down next to her "oh it's a four leaf clover! Each leaf has a meaning. Hope, faith, love and luck. Most people just usually associate it with good luck."
"Oh wow! That's amazing! Do you think I can give it to my lord?" She asked, looking at me with those wide brown eyes.
"I'm sure you can." I smiled back at her.
Just as she picked it, Sesshomaru returned from hunting for dinner. Rin walked up to him and handed the clover to him.
"What is it Rin?" He asked, looking at her holding the tiny flower in between her fingers.
"This is a four leaf clover. It means hope, faith, luck and love." Raising her hand up to him. "I wanted you to have this charm."
Sesshomaru looked at Rin and then Kagome as his face became soft.
"Thank you Rin. I don't need this clover for any of those as I am already lucky to have you and Kagome with me. Both of you have given me faith and love that I hope we shall continue like this as a family."
Rin cried tears of joy and hugged his leg, as Kagome joined in and hugged the both of them with her own tears of happiness while Sesshomaru wrapped his arms around them feeling content.
"That was the most beautiful thing you've said, especially since you're a man of not many words." Kagome wiped away a tear.
"That's not true, my love. I tell you everyday how I'm lucky to have you as my beautiful mate and that I love you more than anything else." He kissed her forehead.
"Very true, I take it back! Each day with you, all of my hopes and dreams are fulfilled. I love you." She kissed his cheek. "I'm one lucky woman!"
