Sesshomaru could hear Rin's question to the imp demon. He wondered where she was going with this. "I am not sure Rin. He was looking for ultimate power, however he seems very distracted." Jaken answered the girl as they continued to travel.
"Why did you come back, Rin?" Jaken asked. Rin looked toward her lord watching his long silver hair swaying behind him as he flew. "I want to follow him till the end of my days, I want to serve him in any and all ways possible." Rin spoke softly.
"What are you expecting from our lord?" Jaken asked as he turned to look at the girl. "I have no expectations of our Lord, Master Jaken, I just hope I can be of some service to my lord." Rin stated. Sesshomaru could hear the undertone in her voice, the tone of some hope.
