A chuckle escaped the demon's lips. "Stupid Miko, I do not want to attack them. I am only passing through." The demon stated as he began to walk towards her. She shielded herself and the village with her beautiful blue reiki. "You will not pass." Miko stated increasing the power behind her shield. The demon continued to walk closer and he could feel the power behind her shield. This was one powerful priestess. "Your power is not strong enough to keep me out." The demon stated as he stepped one foot through the shield.
"How is this possible?" She asked lowering the shield around her yet keeping the one around the village. "I am the Killing Perfection." The demon stated. The miko glanced back toward the village under her protection. Then to the demon. No demon has ever been able to pass through her reiki. Something inside her had changed; her stomach got butterflies now looking at him. "You will not harm a person in this village." She stated her voice strong and sure, commanding in a way.
The demon eyed her, shocked that she had the gall to command him. Since he did not come here to kill humans he decided to oblige her request. "Very well." The demon stated as he continued on. She lowered the shield around the village and they both walked in side by side. "Midiriko." She stated as they walked. The demon eyed her and there was something about her the demon could not place. "Sesshomaru." he said, giving her his name. She nodded as she guided him through the village.
