Rin stepped outside of the house and walked through the forest as she had done a lot as a child after Naraku was defeated. Her mood was so happy, and she had a glow about her. Soon they would leave for the Western Palace where she would take her place beside him as his Lady of the West. She knew it would be difficult for all under Sesshomaru's employ there. After Rin finished with her breakfast, she left the house with a kiss to Sesshomaru. She is heading to Songo and Miroku's house to train, when all of a sudden while walking her vision faded into nothing.
They sat under a huge shade tree and she was leaning against him, her head resting upon his shoulder. They were taking a break for the night from traveling. They were headed to the western palace. He had asked Midiriko to be his mate and she accepted. However she wanted to wait until after she had met his parents. He warned her of his mother, however it was his father that she wanted to meet. She had heard stories about the great InuTasio. "My Love, lower demons approaching." Sesshomaru stated Midiriko stood from her seat readying her reiki.
Sesshomaru stood from his seat waiting for the demons to come getting his poison whip ready. Through the trees came not just a couple low level demons, but thousands. Sesshomaru looked at Midiriko and held her hand. "I love you, My Lord." She spoke softly to him. "Stronger together." He stated. As they began to fight. Most of the demons went straight after Midiriko, some to distract Sesshomaru. Midiriko used her reiki to get out of the huddled mess of demons surrounding her just to breathe a moment. Only to see the demons following her. She took her nagianta and began to swing at the demons. As she began to fall back down to the earth she was grabbed by Sesshomaru. He quickly carried her in the air to an open field with the demons behind him.
