"Ok every one, there still plenty of food and drinks, so enjoy yourselves" Jack said
Then he turns off the microphone. Sam passes John to Mark as they walk down the ramp and join everyone else.
Ten minutes later ladies walk out with serving trays full of cut up cake and napkins. They walk about to give everyone a piece of the cake. When it was starting to get dark, Jack went and turned the lights on. Everyone enjoyed themselves and when Mark went to take his family home Jack and Sam helped them put the kids in the stroller.
"Jack, Sam thanks for everything"
"You guys are welcome, before you go, take this with you" Jack pass them a wrap up gift
"Thank you"
"Open it" Sam, said so Mark rip the paper off to see four different cartoon videos
"Wow, thank you, I'm sure the kids would love them"
"We know they will and there is something else, it at you place, check it out in the morning"
"Where?" jack just smile
"You will find it, good night"
"Night Jack, Sam, thanks" they gave each other a hug before Mark and his family left for home.
"What a night" Sam said as they walk back around to the back of the house
"Yeah it sure is" They join the other guest for the next few hours.
It was just after one in the morning before Jack and Sam finally got to bed. Sam was asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. Jack snuggled up to her then he gave her a kiss
"Sweet dream Sam" then he closed his eyes and fell asleep seconds later.
The next morning Jack woke up when Sam flew out of bed and into the bathroom. He got up and walked in there and crouched down next to her rubbing her back. When she finishes she leans against Jack with her eyes closed.
"Come on, let's get you back to bed" they both stood up and Sam flush the toilet
"Jack I need to pee"
"Ok I'll got and get you a glass of apple juice"
"Thanks" he walked out of their bedroom and put his robe on then he walked out of their bedroom.
Sam rinses her mouth out first then she goes and relieves herself then wash her hands before crawling back into bed. When Jack returned he passed Sam the glass then he went to relieve himself then return back to bed. Sam drank half of her juice then she put the glass on her bedside draws then she rolled over and snuggled up to Jack side and fell asleep seconds later.
Jack held on to her and watched her sleep for an hour before he quickly and quietly got up, leaving Sam to sleep. He went and had a shower and shave then got dressed before walking down stairs where he cooked breakfast for everyone. When their guests were up and walk into the kitchen
"Morning Jack, how Sam?"
"Morning sickness"
"Ah"
"Here help yourselves I'm going to take Sam hers"
Jack picks up a plate of toast and walks out of the kitchen and all up the stairs to their bedroom. When he walked in Sam was awake. She sat up and put extra pillows behind her as Jack sat down on the edge of the bed and passes Sam the plate
"Here"
"Thanks Jack"
"How are you feeling?"
"Bit better"
"That good, the family is up"
"I heard"
"How long does this morning sickness last for?"
"A month some time with women right up till they give birth"
"Ah, well how long it will last Sam I'll be there for much as I can"
"I know you will Jack"
They talk for the next few minutes till sam finish with her toast, when she finish she pass the plate back to Jack and gave him a kiss
"Thanks for that"
"Your welcome why don't you go and have a shower, while I'll make our bed"
"Good plan"
Jack stood up and watched Sam get out of bed and walk into the bathroom. He made the bed while Sam was having her shower then he took the plate and walked back down to the kitchen. He puts the plate in the dishwasher then he grabs himself some breakfast before joining the others at the breakfast bar. They all talk till Sam walks in ten minutes later.
"Morning"
"Morning Sam, how are you feeling?"
"Better than I was before"
"That good"
"Sorry I can't stay I got to go to work, your more than welcome to come on the base to see what been going on, or if you want to shop, choice is yours"
"Thanks Sam" Jacob said
"Well I'm off to work, will you guys be ok?"
"Sure" then a car pulled up
"That my ride" Jack said as he stood up
"Jack, is there something wrong with your truck?" Phillip asked
"No since you guys are going to be here and you need a wagon to drive around, Sam going to be using mine while you guys can use Sam"
"Oh, thanks"
"Sorry we got to go see you guys tonight" then they both hug and kiss each other before they go out separate doors. Then minutes later they heard a car and wagon drive away.
"Well what can we do today?" Jacob asked
"Talk" Elizabeth, said Jacob nodded.
When Sam walked into the gym she got things set up before her class showed up. At lunchtime Sam walked into the cafeteria and got herself some lunch and sat down at one of the tables. She was there for ten minutes when one of her professors walk over with his tray in hand
"Mind if I join you Sam" she look up and smile
"Sure" he put his tray down then sat down across from her
"How class?" she asked
"Good but two of the cadets are having problems"
"So you want me to help them?"
"If you got time"
"Sure let them know when I'm free"
"I will, how are things with you?"
"Good, mum and dad visiting for few days, they want to talk"
"That good to know"
"I know at least it the start"
"True, what made them want to patch things up?"
"Chief of staff had a chic chat with them"
"Ah… Sam I heard a rumour going around I just wanted to know if it true or not"
"What rumour"
"Are you quieting the air force?"
"Your joking, I love the air force, I'm not quitting" she said looking at him
"Well that good to know" he said smiling
"But however I will be taking some leave in about October, November for few months"
"Why?" Sam lean ford and whisper
"I'm pregnant" then she lean back to see the shock look on his face then he smile
"Congratulations Sam, how did the colonel take the news?"
"Oh he is happy, over the moon even, I told him yesterday morning… some anniversary present"
"Your wedding anniversary was yesterday?"
"Yep two years"
"Wow I only seem just last week when you return from your honeymoon" Sam laugh
"Well there you go" they talk for another ten minutes before they go their separate ways.
That afternoon, Sam stopped at a shop and got herself an ice cream. She ate it in the truck before going home. When she got home she heard her family outside, so she walk up to her bedroom and got change then she walk down to the kitchen and got herself a cold drink then walk outside
"I'm home" they all jump
"Sam don't do that to us" Grace said when she put her hand over her heart. Sam walked over and sat down.
"How was your day?"
"Good, how was yours?"
"Good we had a good talk today"
"That's good, so what do you guys feel like for dinner?"
"Something cold" Tracey said
"Sure we still got cold leftover meats and salads in the fridge, we can have that for dinner"
"Sounds good to me" Grace said, they all agree.
They talk for an hour before Sam stands up and walks down the ramp and over to the swimming pool, she dives in and starts swimming lengths of the pool while the others watch and talk.
Fifteen minutes later Jack walked out of the house with beer in his hand, he saw Sam swimming which made him smile. He walk over to the family, Grace saw him and smile
"Evening Jack, how was your day?"
"Good, how was yours?"
"Hot, but good" Jack sat down where Sam sat.
They talk for ten minutes before Jack stood up and walk over to the pool and dived in. he watches Sam swim then he move till he was in front to her. She stops when he hits something that wasn't concrete. She stood up and moves her hair out of the way and smile when she saw whom it was
"Jack, I could of hit you in the head"
"I know, how are you feeling?"
"Good" they wrap their arms around each other and kiss
"How was your day?" he asked
"Good, yours?"
"Hot but good, you know if we were alone I would have taken this swim suit off and have my way with you in here"
"Oh you talking dirty to me now?"
"Yep"
"Mmm not bad idea, but it can wait till tonight"
"It will have to won't it" then they both kiss
"Don't you two get enough" Phillip said grinning
"Nope, I never get enough, I love it" Jack said smiling
Then he turned to Sam and they both kissed and went under water without breaking the kiss. When they broke apart they stood up to get some air but still in each other's arms. They talk quietly to each other and even kiss every now and then. The others watch what them from the patio for a few minutes then turn to each other
"They sure look happy together," Grace said
"Yes they do alright," Elizabeth said
They talk for an hour, every now and then one of them looks over at the pool seeing Jack and Sam still in each other's arms kissing and talking. When Jack and Sam finally got out of the pool they walked up to the patio and grabbed their towels where they could dry themselves down.
"We going to go and have a quick shower then get dinner sorted out, how that sound" Sam said
"We can take care of dinner Sam, you and Jack go and have your shower, we can have it out here since it a beautiful evening"
"That fine by me, come on Sam I'll wash your back" they walk to the open french door when they heard
"I'll wash your Back Jack" then they walk inside.
They walk up to their bedroom, then bathroom. Jack turned the shower on while Sam got towels out for them both. They took their swimsuits off and walked into the shower where they washed each other and made love while in there before getting out.
After they dried down and gotten dress, they clean up the bathroom before leaving their room. Sam put the wet washing down the shoot then follow Jack down to the kitchen where they both got a drink then walk outside to see dinner was on the table.
They sat down next to each other and dish up their dinner. The others watch as Sam puts pasta salad on to her plate then to Jack. Jack put potato salad on to his plate then Sam plate. Then they did the same with other salads and meat then they started eating.
They talked for the next three hours when it was starting to get dark so they all went inside where they walked down to the game room where they play games and talk for the next couple of hours. Before Jack and Sam said their good nights since they got an early start in the morning. That night while in bed, they made love twice before falling asleep in each other's arms.
The next night Grace, Phillip, Tracey, Jacob and Elizabeth went to Mark and Ann place for dinner. Leaving Jack and Sam alone for the night.
Over the next few days they all talked when Jack and Sam were home. They were starting to mend fences, which is good news and they all know it is a start.
On Sunday afternoon, Sam, Jack, Mark and his family who were at Jack and Sam place for the day said their goodbyes to Grace, Phillip, Tracey, Jacob and Elizabeth since they were all leaving to head back to their homes.
On Monday afternoon, Sam and Jack went to see the gynaecologist for the first time. While there, the doctor uses the ultrasound machine to see if everything is ok.
"Everything looked good here"
"That good to know" Sam said
"Sam, you said that there are multiple births in your family?"
"Ah yes my brother's wife Ann had triplets a couple of years ago, cousins on my dad's side of the family they got twins and a set of triplets in the family. My grandma had got a twin brother and sister, and there is twins on Jack side on the family also, why"
