Yuka closed the book and let out a deep sigh. She had to go check how the bedchamber was coming. She hadn't used that much energy since she protected Izayoi and an infant InuYasha. She appeared in the study where she smelled her brother's scent; however it was a fainter scent she searched for, her father's comforting scent of pine woods and rain filled sky. Once she smelled it she walked over to the cushion on the floor and laid beside it with her head on the cushion taking deep breath; breathing in his scent.

"I miss you father." She spoke softly into the cushion. "Yuka, darling, you should be in bed, not here." His deep, kind voice spoke to her as saw her out training with her sais he gave her. She turned to look at him, just a pup of fifty years old. "Practicing daddy so I can be strong just like you and brother." A young Yuka spoke excitedly to see her father. A smile appeared upon his face as he helped adjust her stance. "Fighting with sais is different than with a sword, my Princess." Toga spoke and adjusted her grips on the sais. "Remember my sweet, help those weaker than you; and accepting everyone's choices is what's important with family." He then began to slowly move her arms back and forth so she could get the notion. "Don't always believe what your mother says."

Yuka awoke with a start, she hadn't thought about the moment in centuries. Even then her father tried to help her understand how vicious her mother could be. She had to tell Sesshomaru of their mother's plan, and how she saved him from the agony of their mother's plan. She stood up and flew back to his village house. When she landed there was a small imp demon outside. "Princess, welcome, Milord, is…...indisposed at the moment." Jaken stated looking back into the house. Yuka just walked past him letting her worried scent draw him out.
