Yuka looked from Rin to Sesshomaru, her eyes searching for some type of explanation. "She is right, Yuka. I mourned for Midiriko, and many centuries later I have Rin." Sesshomaru stated to his sister. "You were cold and stoic all those centuries, Sessh." Yuka stated. Sesshomaru nodded his head. "Yes that's true, however as soon as I met Rin my heart melted." Sesshomaru stated. Yuka looked from Sesshomaru to Rin. Rin nodded her head. "I found Sesshomaru leaning against a tree in the forest by my village when I was about nine. I brought him food, and ended up getting beaten by some of the males in the village.
They caught me in the reserve catching fish. Back then I didn't talk. I took Sesshomaru food again and he asked me about the bruises. As soon as he asked me that I gave him a wide smile, not once was I scared of him. I left him and went to the village. Wolves attacked and I ran towards Sesshomaru, but I fell and the wolves closed in. Next thing I was waking up in Sesshomaru's arm on his knee. I travelled with him while he was trying to defeat Naraku. However, if ever I was in danger of falling down a cliff trying to get a poison antidote for Master Jaken, or I was kidnapped by Naraku, or just some demon, Sesshomaru was there to protect me or catch me when I fell.
He warmed up to me very quickly, he was the first one to hear me talk again when I told him my name; he even saved Miko Kagome twice. That I know of." Rin explained to Yuka. Yuka gave a slight smile, as she glanced between them. At some point the sun rose in the sky and Jaken came waddling in with a tray of tea. "Everything is ready, milord." Jaken stated setting the tea tray down, then left the room. Sesshomaru stood and made sure all the papers were ready for transport. The girls drank some of their tea then they were outside. Sesshomaru held on to Rin as he and Yuka rose into the air. They would make this journey leisurely.
