Both Sesshomaru and Yuka growled at hearing confirmation that it was their mother that had tried to have Rin killed. Sesshomaru looked at Yuka and Rin standing next to each other; Yuka nodded her head. "Rin, come with me I found a hot spring so you can relax." Yuka stated however Rin had other plans. She was tired of being the one targeted; the one they used to get to Sesshomaru, and not able to do something about it herself. Rin stepped forward preparing her claws to attack him. "You are going to deliver a message for me, to this Lady that commissioned you." Rin stated as she drew her claws along his face deep enough to leave a scar shallow enough to not end his life.
"Tell the Lady Mother that Lady Rin; mate to Lord Sesshomaru, of the Western Lands, will be tougher to kill than she believes." Rin stated after that Sesshomaru stared at her wide eyed. Rin had never been like this before. Sesshomaru let the ningen go and he took off running. "Rin, this is not like you." Sesshomaru stated. Yuka watched them, not concerned in the least. "I kind of like it." Rin smiled up at him. "I am tired of the enemy using me against you, Sesshomaru." Rin stated wrapping her arms around him. Yuka watched from a distance how happy her brother was with the woman.
'Maybe they're right. Senshi, my heart will always be yours, but I must move on.' Yuka thought to herself her molten golden eyes watching the couple across from the fire. 'I'll always have our memories of you.' Yuka continued her thought. The breeze changed course and Yuka smelled a scent that was both hanyou, human, and demon combined. "Sessh, do you smell that?" Yuka asked her brother using the link they shared. "It's only InuYasha and his friends." Sesshomaru stated. All three of them stood waiting for them to enter the clearing.
