Chapter 1:A second chance

It was a peaceful night in Musutafu. In a back alley, there appeared a sphere of light. After a few seconds, the light faded, and a bizarre person was in its place. He was incredibly muscular and tall, almost 2 meters, and had long golden hair. He wore a black unitard, an open yellow jacket that ended at his midriff, crotchless baggy pants with chaps, and a heart-shaped headband with a matching belt and knee pads. That man was DIO, the evilest man in history. He slowly stood up, then looked around him for a few seconds.

'Where am I ?' DIO asked himself.

'I am supposed to be dead?! How am I alive?!'

DIO didn't have time to think more about that because he heard someone behind him shout.

''Give me all your money.'' the man said while pointing a gun at him.

DIO stood there motionless when suddenly he vanished and appeared behind the thief putting his hand on his throat. His fingers entered the thief's skin and started sucking his blood.

After a few moments, the man was dead. DIO removed his fingers, letting him fall to the ground. Suddenly his body started convulsing, and he rose, but he was no longer human; he was a zombie: a servant of DIO.

The zombie knelled in front of his master, awaiting orders.

''Tell me, where am I ?''DIO said while striking a pose.

''Lord DIO,you are in Musutafu, Japan.''

'W-what?! J-japan?! H-how did I get here?! If I assume that I have survived from my battle with Jotaro, that still wouldn't explain how I got transported from Egypt to Japan?!' Dio screamed in his head.

After a few moments, DIO managed to regain his composure and asked another question.

''Did you see how I arrived here.''

''Yes, Lord DIO. Though all I saw was a ball of light that suddenly appeared, and a few seconds later, you were in its place. I assume someone with a warp quirk brought you here.''

''Quirks? What are those ?''DIO asked, intrigued.

''You surely must be joking, my lord.'' said the zombie thinking his master was messing with him.

''Do I look like I am joking to you?''DIO said while glaring at his servant.

''N-no, my lord. Please forgive me.'' said the zombie, not wanting to anger his lord anymore.

DIO sighed in frustration at how incompetent his servant was.

''What are you waiting for; answer my question like how a teacher does to a student!'' DIO screamed, losing his patience.

''Y-yes L-lord DIO. Quirks are abilities that humans developed approximately two centuries ago.''

'W-what?! H-how could have I not heard of them before?! Wait, maybe these are what they call stand abilities?'

''Do you have a quirk?''

''Yes, Lord DIO. I can change the color of my eyes.''

To test his theory, DIO summoned The World and his servant:

''Do you see anything stand beside me?''

''No, Lord DIO.''

'So they aren't like stand abilities. I must learn more about them.'

''Are these quirks rare?''

''No, Lord DIO. Over 80% of humanity has them.''

'What?! Impossible?! How could I not have heard of them if so many people have them?'

Suddenly DIO thought of a solution, but to confirm it, he needed to ask one more question.

''What year are we in?''

''twenty-one fifty, Lord DIO.''

'As I thought, I was transported to another world. Even though it seems unbelievable, everything leads to this conclusion: my escape from death and the apparition of these strange abilities called quirks. The year we are in also supports my theory since I would have been present when they appeared, so I am not in the future.' DIO thought, satisfied that he finally found the answer to what was happening.

''Tell me everything you know of this world,'' DIO said while posing with his hands on his hips.

After four hours, DIO told the zombie to stop since there was something he needed to ask.

''What time is it?'' asked DIO, wanting to know how much time he had before sunrise.

The zombie took out his smartphone from his pocket. DIO looked at the strange device, wondering what it was.

''It's 5 o'clock, Lord DIO.''

'Based on the weather and, the temperature it should be autumn. So there should be almost two hours before sunrise.''

''Tell me about that device,'' said DIO, curious about what it could do.

''It's a smartphone, Lord DIO.''

''And what can it do?''

''It can do a lot of things. It can tell the time, take photos, call, play games, and use the internet, among many other things.''

''Internet?'' asked DIO since he had heard about it before, but he never was interested in it.

''The internet is a place where people can find information on almost everything.''

''Incredible. To have so much information in this small device is truly amazing.'' DIO said, impressed at how advanced the technology in this world is.

DIO decided he needed to learn how to use one.

''Lead me to your house, and while you do that, show me how to use a smartphone.''

After an hour, they arrived at his house, and DIO was quite surprised. The house was pretty small, only four rooms, if he had to guess. It had a stone wall that was about two meters in height and a metal gate. The best thing about it was that it didn't have many windows and they had opaque curtains. It wasn't as good as his house in Egypt, but it was good enough for now.

However, when he entered the house, his expression changed. His eyes became covered in shadows. The cause was the fact that the living room had countless beer bottles on the floor.

When the zombie saw this change in demeanor, he started getting afraid that his lord would punish him.

''M-my lord,p-?!'' the zombie couldn't finish his plea for forgiveness because his head exploded.

The cause of this was DIO's stand, The World.

'Tch. That bastard reminded me of that pig.'

DIO then took the smartphone from the corpse and started to search for more things about the Pro-Heroes.

An hour later, DIO said:

''I've seen enough. I'm satisfied now.''

'These Pro-Heroes shouldn't be a problem for me, not even the man called All Might. From the battles that I have seen on the internet, even without its power to stop time, The World's speed and precision are far superior to this so-called Symbol of Peace. I suppose his strength is somewhat comparable, but it doesn't matter since he can neither damage nor see my stand. The only serious threats to me are other stand users. Yes, even if I'm not in my world anymore, that doesn't mean that stands don't exist here too. So before I make any moves, I will train my time stop until it lasts 9 seconds. I also need to get the stand arrow under my possession.'

DIO then saw the sunrise, so he decided to retreat to the bedroom for the rest of the day.
