Chapter 6: Training

Hey there everybody, Dio-sama here with a new chapter. This one and the following 2 or 3 chapters will be more slice of life, with little plot progression; imagine something akin to Diamond is Unbreakable until we get to the entrance exams. By the way, I have just seen Alucard vs DIO, and it was a really good fight. The animation was some of the best I've seen on Death Battle. The voice acting was very good, and the fact that they got Takahata101 to voice Alucard made it even better, but the fact that DIO won made it my favorite fight this season. The research on DIO was not that bad too. I mean, there were a few mistakes, the biggest one being DIO's speed is 50 times the speed of light, which in my opinion is too much. I believe DIO is faster than light, but not by that margin, but I can't say how accurate they were on Alucard since I haven't watched Hellsing. However, those are just some minor gripes I have with the fight. I believe DIO deserved his win.

Anyway, before we get into the chapter, let's answer the reviews:

For'Sleepy: I think your idea is pretty good, and it definitely made me think about how I would implement it into the story, but I think it would be best to go with their relationship being one-sided.

IAmNotPedobear: Thank you for your reviews. I am happy that you enjoyed my story, but there is something I need to clarify. DIO doesn't have Ultimate Kars's abilities. I only made him immune to sunlight.

Anonymous: I really liked your idea. And since I saw that a lot of people didn't want them into a relationship, I will go with your suggestion.

Now, let's get into the chapter.

It was a clear, sunny day in Musutafu City. DIO could be seen standing in front of Takoba Municipal Beach Park.

''Hm, this place will do just fine.'' said DIO as he took out his phone and messaged Toga and Dabi, telling them to come here.

An hour later, Dabi arrived at the beach. He looked around, searching for DIO until he found him sitting atop one of the mountains of trash, looking towards the sea with his arms crossed over his chest and his back bent backward.

''Lord DIO.'' said Dabi trying to attract his attention, but he remained there motionless like a statue.

Suddenly, he vanished and appeared in front of Dabi, making him widen his eyes in surprise.

Quickly recovering from his shock, Dabi bowed before his master.

''Dabi, it seems that you are the first to arrive. Well, there is no need to waste more time until Toga arrives too.'' said DIO as he motioned for Dabi to follow him.

''Lord DIO, may ask for what reason you called me?''

''Dabi, the reason I asked you to come here is simple. Even though you already joined me and have a very powerful quirk, I still need to see how well you can use it.'' said DIO as he stopped walking and turned around, facing Dabi.

''So, that's why you told me to come here. You want me to use my quirk on this stuff.'' said Dabi as he looked at all the piles of junk surrounding him.

''No, I want you to fight me.'' revealed DIO as Dabi looked at him with a surprised expression.

''W-what?'' asked Dabi, wanting to be sure he heard DIO correctly.

''I said, I want you to fight me. How else would I know how well you can use your quirk if not through battle.''

''Yes, you're right.'' said Dabi as he regained his composure.

''But, why did you choose this place then?'' asked Dabi

''It's simple, thanks to these mountains of junk, this place is basically deserted, and they offer us cover from any hero patrolling the area.''

Suddenly, the air around Dabi became heavy as a menacing aura surrounded DIO.

''Now then, are you ready?'' asked DIO, his voice shifting from its charismatic and sophisticated tone to one full of malice and arrogance.

Dabi's answer to that was a wave of flames coming towards DIO's face with incredible speed. Dabi expected DIO to dodge his attack, but to his shock and horror, he stood there, letting the flames hit him.

''Lord DIO!'' screamed Dabi thinking he killed him. He tried to run towards him, only to be stopped by a sudden gust of wind that blew away his flames and made him fall over.

When Dabi got up, what he saw left him speechless. There stood DIO, looking perfectly calm and without a scratch on him.

''Impressive, if you were just a second faster, you may have been able to burn me.'' praised DIO while he started approaching Dabi.

Dabi regaining his composure fired another wave of fire. However, this one was extinguished by another gust of wind just before it could touch DIO.

''Tch, is that your quirk? Can you control the wind?' said Dabi as he looked at DIO, who simply smiled at him.

'Since throwing fire at him is useless, I need a new strategy.' thought Dabi as he looked around him until an idea came to his mind.

'Hm, this might work.' thought Dabi as he started running towards one of the mountains of scraps and hid behind it.

'Hm, is he planning something?' thought DIO as he approached the pile of trash.

''Dabi, are you running away? Instead of facing the mighty DIO, you choose to hide like a mouse from a cat.''

Suddenly, the heap started falling towards him, burying him under it.

'Okay, step one is complete. Now, let's start step two.' thought Dabi as his hand was covered in fire.

Dabi bent down and put his hand on the mound of trash; and lit it on fire.

''Hm, and what is this supposed to accomplish, Dabi?'' asked DIO as he laid there curious as to what Dabi was doing.

''It's simple you can extinguish my flames by using your quirk to move the oxygen away from them. So I just buried you so you could no longer do it.'' said Dabi as he moved towards another pile of junk.

''Hoho, an intriguing idea, but what makes you think I can no longer control the air.''

''You can only control the air close to you. I deduced this since my flames were extinguished just before or after touching you.''

''Very good. Your deduction skills are impressive, but what would stop me from extinguishing the flames when they burn my prison.''

''Step 3. I would put another pile over this one. My fire will burn both up and down, but it will reach you first, meaning you will eventually burn.''

''You are a truly formidable opponent. If you were fighting anyone else, they would have surely lost, but-'' DIO stopped for a second before continuing his voice no longer coming from under the pile of junk, but from behind Dabi.

''-you are fighting DIO.'' finished DIO as Dabi quickly turned around, seeing DIO standing there, his back facing him, while his hand was in front of his face.

Dabi sighed, knowing he lost before asking:

''How did you get out?''

''Hm, maybe I will tell you someday.'' said DIO as he and Dabi walked away from the battlefield.

''Now, Dabi, you may leave. Your performance today was most impressive.'' said DIO as Dabi nodded and left the beach.

Half an hour later, Toga finally arrived at the beach. She saw DIO standing near the sea, admiring its beauty.

''Lord DIO!'' screamed Toga as she hugged DIO.

''Ah, Himiko, I'm glad you came.'' said DIO as he gave her a head pat.

Toga started blushing at the treatment as she started burying her head in his chest.

'Wait, why am I feeling something poke my chin?' thought Toga as she looked down, realizing that she was, in fact, just above his crotch.

''Eeeeekkkkk!'' screamed Toga as she jumped away, her face resembling a tomato and her ears producing steam.

''Himiko, compose yourself!'' commanded DIO, his tone full of authority.

''Y-yes, Lord DIO!'' said Toga as she managed to calm down, though her cheeks were still red.

''Good, now, the reason I called you here is for a test.'' sadi DIO as TOga looked at him with a confused expression.

''Test?''

''Yes, I need to test your hand-to-hand combat skills since I will be sending you on a mission soon, and I want to know if you are up to it or require training.''

''What mission?''

''You will participate in the Entrance Exams for U.A.''

''Okay.'' said Toga as she struck a cute pose.

''Good, now let's begin.'' said DIO as Toga ran towards him, trying to stab him in the stomach, but he dodged. Undeterred, she tried multiple slashes at his neck, armpit, wrist, and abdomen that DIO dodged effortlessly.

'Hm, her technique is good. She is going for the vital points in the human body.' thought DIO as Toga continued her assault.

'Let's see if she knows how to dodge too.' thought DIO as he moved on the offensive.

First, he threw a punch towards her that she quickly dodged while using it to her advantage by trying to cut his wrist, but she was forced to jump away when he tried to kick her.

Toga started running towards DIO again, but this time she jumped, trying to stab his eyes only for her knife to be stopped by DIO putting his hand in front of the blade.

The blade stabbed through his hand and stopped a millimeter away from his eye. Toga tried to pull her knife back but was shocked to see DIO gripping her knife, not letting her get away. DIO then threw another punch towards her face. Toga, thinking quickly, let go of her blade and tried to bite his jugular. DIO, however, anticipated such a move and caught her by the bach of her school uniform.

''You did well, Himiko.'' said DIO as he smiled kindly at her.

''T-thank you, Lord DIO.'' said Toga as she was blushing like crazy from the praise.

DIO gently let her down, then he proceeded to pat her head as she purred like a cat at his touch.

''L-lord DIO m-may I get a bit of your blood?'' Toga asked as she looked at his bleeding hand.

''Of course, you can. Consider it a reward for doing so good.'' said DIO as he pulled the knife from his hand and presented it to Toga.

Toga started licking all the blood that flowed from his hand as her face became redder and redder, and she started rubbing her thighs together.

After a few minutes, the bleeding stopped, so DIO pulled his hand away as Toga whimpered in disappointment as she could no longer taste the sweetest blood she ever drank.

''Now, Toga, you may leave.'' said DIO, but Toga had other plans.

''Oh, can't I stay a little longer? I promise you won't regret it?'' whispered Toga as she rubbed his muscular chest.

''Leave.'' said DIO. However, his tone was different. It lacked any warmth and kindness it had before, being replaced by one full of coldness and authority.

Toga shivered at the tone but obeyed while repeatedly bowing and apologizing.

DIO now left alone, sighed in annoyance.

'Hah, that damn girl is so bothersome.' thought DIO as he rubbed his temples.

Suddenly, his phone started to vibrate, so he looked at it.

''Hm, it's a post about All Might being seen in...Musutafu City.''

'I must seize this chance.' thought DIO wanting to see the No.1 Hero in person.

A few minutes later, DIO could be seen jumping from rooftop to rooftop in search of the Symbol of Peace.

'The post said that All Might was chasing after a villain with a slime quirk.' thought DIO as he used his enhanced senses in hope of finding something.

Suddenly, he heard an explosion a few blocks away from him and then heard someone saying 'Wasn't that villain the one All Might was chasing earlier?'.

DIO went towards the noise and saw the slime villain, but All Might wasn't there.

'Where is he?' thought DIO when suddenly a kid with green hair ran towards the villain.

The next few minutes passed very quickly as DIO watched a green-haired kid trying to play hero, and All Might himself finally appeared to save that kid, and defeat the villain with a punch that changed the weather.

But what caught his interest was what All Might said to the kid. It seemed that he had a connection to the kid.

As he watched All Might run away from the reporters, DIO vanished into nothing.

A few minutes later

Izuku was having the most emotional day of his life. First, Kacchan told him to kill himself. Then he is attacked by a villain. Then he meets his idol All Might, who crushes his dream. Then, he tries to save Kacchan from that same villain, only for All Might to save the day again. And now, All Might is not only saying that he can become a hero, but that he will inherit his quirk One For All.

He just couldn't take it anymore, he almost started crying again, but he forced himself to stop. He needed to stop crying if he was going to become All Might's successor.

'Yes, I'm going to work hard to prove All Might that I am worthy of his power.' thought Izuku with a bright smile on his face as he said goodbye to All Might.

What Izuku and All Might didn't know was that in the shadows evil was watching.
