Ryuudou Temple Part II.

A/N: Authors note at the end…

Medea of Colchis. That was a name that was familiar to Percy's ears. Annabeth was told to look into her by Circe and she indeed did. Annabeth even wrote down entire paragraphs in a notebook about her.

She was a beautiful woman who resided in the kingdom of Colchis and was compelled by the Goddess Aphrodite to love Jason- the Argonaut- and help him retrieve the Golden Fleece. She also happened to be the descendant of Helios the Titan and the niece of Circe. Piper had once told them about their experience in the mall where she had a charm speaking battle with the witch.

But there was a stark difference between the one Piper described and the one standing before him. Circe that Piper knew had black hair and wore modern clothes as did a lot of age-old mythical beings. This one wore a purple hood that covered the entirety of her face down to her lips and she had purple bangs.

"How did you…? You bastard!" Medea's face twisted to a snarl as her purple magical circles flared to life around her.

Percy tightened the grip on his sword as magical energy shot at him at impressive speeds. Rolling over to the side, he just narrowly dodged it as he went to the nearest shrine for cover.

"Damn… there is no way I can win this fight if I stay at a distance. I need to get in close!"

"I can help with that."

Percy spun around just in time to get introduced to a bony skeleton's large fist which tossed him across the hard floor. Laying on his belly he tried to get up only to meet a magical blast straight to the back.

"Gah!"

She just narrowly missed my Achilles spot…

Finally regaining his mettle he got up to meet Caster's angry face.

"You're still alive? Even with your armor shredded? What a cockroach."

"Sorry about that. I've been told on multiple occasions that I'm a pain to kill. Especially when the other person wants me dead."

'Percy! Can you hear me?!'

That was Caren, Percy realized speaking to him internally.

'I'm not looking too hot right now, Miss Nun.'

He could almost see her rolling her eyes stoically and he loved it!

'Miss Nun? You must be fine if you can still quip at a time like this. What's happening over there?'

'Nothing good. I might have to retreat.'

'I figured going in with almost no mana would be a bad idea. Like. I. Told. You. Can you even move properly, after exhausting so much energy?'

'Uhh… no.'

Percy knew he made an irrational call. Even he was sheepish about it. To be fair though, he wanted results fast and underestimated the strength of his opponent.

'It's sort of your fault though as well though, Caren. How was I supposed to know that Caster's are this powerful?!'

He was pretty sure the one Piper fought wasn't nearly as powerful as the one he's fighting. And she hasn't even charmspoken yet!

'We should leave this opponent for someone else to deal with. I'm Sure Emiya-san and Tohsaka-san will eventually stumble upon this and fight them as well.'

'Count me in!'

The hard part now was getting out though…

"You wouldn't just let me leave kindly right? Trust me I'm very sorry for intruding on your territory and will not do it again. Maybe. Probably not."

"Do you honestly think I will just let you go… I will cut off your head and deliver it in a wrap to my master!"

"Damn, I guess all witches are cruel."

"What did you say…"

In that instant, two things happened. One, Caster fired her magic at the Rider-class servant. Two, a magical arrow down at the projectile, exploding it.

"Well, well. I never expected to see you here, and especially in this sorry state…"

The sudden intervention caused the both of them to look to the sound of the voice up on the rooftops.

The Archer class servant clad in red stood smirking tauntingly down at the two of them, bow in hand.

"Archer…"

Percy was confused on why he was here. They came earlier than he had expected. Though he supposed the commotion must have been what got their attention.

The caster class servant sighed. "They just keep coming… one by one. No matter. I will eliminate each and every one of you who have stepped into my domain."

"Hold it Caster." Archer held up his hand. "I didn't come to fight you. In fact I came to work with you."

"Hmm?"

'Wait a second… Is that…'

From within his red cloak there was someone in there. A white-haired lady. She was unconscious.

"Caren!" Percy cried in alarm. "What did you do to her?!"

Archer shrugged. "Nothing. Yet. If you don't comply with me then maybe I will do something."

"Mhmhm…hahaha! What a strange turn of events these are! Archer, are you proposing an alliance with me?"

"I am." Archer affirmed. "If I am to win this Holy Grail War then I am going to need as much manpower as possible. I think it is clear to me and even him that you are a powerful force. I see no reason not to."

"Excellent!" Caster smirked. "Give the girl to me… I will deal with her."

Right then and there, Percy moved. He didn't have the strength if he was being completely honest. He was running off fumes right now and had no magical energy. Servants simply cannot function without their master's mana. Percy however, right then and there broke his limits. He surpassed what he thought wasn't possible.

Taking a mighty leap to where Archer stood, he put all his strength into cleaving through the servant of the bow. Archer in retaliation, summoned the white short sword Percy was familiar with to block the blow. Percy, still in the air, pushed Archer back with a kick, getting a grunt as he forced off the rooftops and to the ground.

He then dodged a magical energy shot from an angry Caster whilst at the same time, throwing his blade at her.

Caster summoned a shield which successfully blocked the attack but was met with an unexpected surprise when a gauntleted fist was covering her eye sight. Cold fear grew in her as the fist only inched closer and closer…

BOOM!

Flinching from the surprise of an explosion she opened her eyes to see the mount servant being blown back.

"Archer… you protected me."

The mentioned servant had his bow back in his hand having released an attack. Dust and debris surrounded the area where Percy was sent to. When it cleared, the servant was slumped over, presumably unconscious.

"I'm surprised. He's still alive after taking a hit from one of my broken phantasms. His endurance must be off the charts. Unless it's something else entirely."

"He is a strange one." Caster couldn't help but admit. His appearance was very basic but he wore a Grecian armor set before it was blown up. Not only that but his sword had the Greek lettering engraved into its golden interior. Was he someone from her Pantheon? She would assume so as he had figured out her identity and sounded like he knew her from somewhere.

"I will be taking him with me to my master for now."

"What?!" Caster screeched. "Absolutely not. He has intruded into my territory and I am the one who dealt with him so he is mine!"

"Yes, that is true however, my master would like to speak with him and his master for now. After that you may do with him as you wish. Does that sound fair?"

Caster thought over it for a moment before deciding. "One day. That is all I am giving you. He must be back by then. Or I will personally come and get him and your head."

Archer held up his hands in surrender with a smirk. "I wouldn't dream of defying you."

"But wait… how did you get by Assassin? Is he not guarding the gate?!"

"Oh he is… but he is a little preoccupied right now."

Holstering both the servant and master on his back, he dashed out of Ryuudou Temple.

Saber just barely stepped down a step as Sasaki Kojiro's long blade sailed over her head, cutting into nothing but air.

"It is nice to fight a good opponent such as yourself, Saber." Sasaki complimented.

"I find it very unusual that an Assassin can be this skilled in sword combat. Are you truly just an Assassin? What are your motives?"

"I have already said it once before, I am Sasaki Kojiro. A simple swordsman. I live to fight. Nothing else. I have no past."

'Damnit! Getting past him is looking trickier than I thought it would be. He has such an iron-tight defense that finding openings is impossible. Not only that but he is exploiting the fact that he has the high ground and is forcing me to go down more and more.'

Saber readied her stance as she was about to try and attack again. Before she could however, Archer dashed out from the temple and made his way down the stairs.

"Archer, did you defeat Caster?" Saber called out.

"Nope." Archer said casually. "I did not leave empty-handed however."

Saber then noticed he was carrying the servant she had fought yesterday and another women who could possibly be his master.

"They…"

"That's right." Archer smirked. They went here to Ryuudou Temple and tried to take down Caster. For some reason though, they came here blindly and without a plan and despite that managed to sneak past the little gatekeeper."

"It's him!" Kojiro growled. "He ignored my attack and went on ahead while I was caught off guard!"

"My, how shameful. You didn't do your job?"

The Samurai raised his sword at the Archer. "Do not test me Archer. I will behead both you and them."

Archer grabbed the two unconscious pairs of servant and master and chucked them into the air.

"Catch them then."

More than eager, Kojiro readied his sword to cut them down in one fell swoop only to cough up blood as Saber barreled into him while he was busy. The action caused him to fall face-first into the stairs.

"Thanks for the assistance." Archer said, managing to grab Caren before she fell to the ground but not bothering to get her servant who ended up ragdolling down the stairs.

"I didn't do it for you. Don't mistake my actions Archer. I cannot stand by and watch as opponents are killed in their sleep."

"As honorable as always." Archer sighed.

"Why did you not grab Rider before he fell?"

"I guess I just missed him." Archer said nonchalantly.

They both knew he could have very well done something.

"Let's take them with us. Rin will be pleased to see that her servant has already begun defeating servants."

"Wait… why is Assassin not following us?" Indeed, the servant had murder in his eyes as he was just humiliated twice now but made no movement to proceed.

"I'll talk about it later."

Ok then… short chapter. I know. I just wanted to get at least something out and I didn't feel right leaving you guys with nothing since like early this month so…

I wasn't too satisfied with this chapter as I kind of didn't know how to proceed with situations like Percy vs Medea but I tried. Percy really doesn't have much long-range options that won't just take down the entire area and he was out of mana so it made no sense that he could win. We will start to see his true power when he starts regaining his mana a little bit. I also need to start watching scenes again because I have an issue of cutting out stuff that's really important in favor of my own scenes and winging it. I think that's laziness.

Anyways, that's it for me. peace.
