Chilling silence filled the room , that was cut by Alphas Sara , Elisa and Mary's gasps of surprise and shock , he himself was not less surprised and taken back than the others who all looked gobsmacked .Hayley went unhealthy pale and her eyes went glaze , and he wanted to take her in his arms and comfort her and rip out Jackson stony heart at the sametime , especially when the mutt turned to Hayley with a terrified , apologetic expression .
" Bullock's ! , there goes the mutt , the house and any chance of the Sods leaving the house alive " . Kol mumbled to Finn with a growl , who only sighed a deep troubled answer , " Blimey ! " .
Any promise he had given to his Father and Hayley of keeping a lid on his temper , was forgotten when Jackson sent a pleading look to Hayley and started out , " It's not like that Hayley , trust me ... " .
He cut him off by kicking back his chair and impeding it in the wall , then lunging at him and pulling him across the table from the label of his shirt , and finally wrapping his hands around the mangy man neck and squeezing happily , " you Dare speak of trust to her , when all you have done was lying to her and using her trust on you to further your agenda , you dare demand her hand in marriage when your family is the reason she suffered as an orphan ... I will hang you from that lying tongue of yours ... " . he raged , his vision going red from bloodlust .
" Jackson ! " . Mary Dumas cried out in alarm .
" Niklaus ! " . Finn and Elijah cried out in warning but none of them moved to help the mutt or stop him .
" Klaus no , he is your guest ! " . Hayley who jumped to her feet stated as she trued to release Jackson from his grip , her defensive and pleading words for the sake of his despised enemy only served to enrage him further .
" Niklaus , return him to his seat . I'm not done with him yet " . his father ordered angrily , his glare was reprimanding .
He let go of the mutt and he slumped on the table , coughing and spluttering trying to get oxygen into his deprived lungs , he eyed the wolf head under him and for a second he debated slamming his fist down and breaking the man skull . " Klaus , please calm down " . Hayley begged him worriedly , one of her palms lied on his chest the other wrapped around his arm restraining him .
He took a series of deep breaths and tried to control the bloody haze that obscured his mind and sight , only then did he noticed that Hayley was calm , she who should have been the one to lose her temper , lash out and rage for her parents death and the Kenner's deception was surprisingly holding herself will , Hayley who's temper raveled even him , his mind quickly came up with the logical conclusion , " You knew !? " . he asked in disbelieve .
Hayley smiled sadly and answered him meaningful , " I saw it happen , twice once from my crib and the other time ... " . she trialed off meaningfully and he frowned in confusion and alarm , before his mind drifted back to the conversation he had about the Hallow .
" And your not Mad ? " . Marcel asked her incredulously .
" he is dead , he died and was buried a traitor to the pack . nothing I say or do will change that fact . and I'm not in the habit of punishing people for their families mistakes " , Hayley then turned to the two Kenner's with solemn , disappointed look as she continued bitterly , " I just would have preferred if you two had told me yourself ... I had waited for you to bring up the topic , asked many members of the pack but none will disclose anything to me " .
" I planned too , on your next visit actually " . Jackson replied sincerely .
Hayley looked away and pulled him back to sit beside her , when he moved to lean over the Table again , it was alpha Reginald turn to sigh and settle things over , " as Alpha poldark had stated , the action of alpha Richard Xavier Dumas cancel this engagement and free Hayley from any obligations to you and your family . I will not speak further on the affairs of the crescent , as that's none of my business " .
" but let me state this very clearly , your action's has shamed you Mary Dumas . you and your pack has let down miss Labonair and offended her greatly " . Alpha Blake stated with an angry glare . " it's her right to demand a compensations for your deceptions " .
Mary's face paled , but she nodded in understanding . Ansel nodded in satisfaction and carried on , " we all know that the alpha position is hers by right , either your grandson step down or the two fight over it " .
Gareth and Rick the two pack Elders glared at Hayley before stating firmly , " there is no need , the pack will not Backup a Hybrid , a tarnished blooded woman . labonair or not she is allied with vampires , with our enemy and unless she marry Jackson . Only then will we consider her one of us " .
His words surprised everyone , and as he turned to gauge Hayley's reaction he wasn't surprise at the expression of wounded pain and betrayal in her pale face , she nodded to herself before meeting the four crescent wolves eyes and stating firmly , " I'm what I'm whether its a werewolf or a Hybrid I'm Hayley Marshall and Andrea labonair . I'm proud of what I'm and will not stand for anyone telling me that I'm tainted , or that my baby is for being like me instead of only a full wolf , from now on nether myself or my daughter will belong to the crescent wolf pack " . she met Jackson eyes squarely and declared firmly , " Congratulations , I step Down for your claim and officially cut my ties with the Bayou wolves . I wish you Good luck as the pack uncontested alpha " .
Her words stunned everyone and especially him and the crescent wolves , no one has ever imagined Hayley will go as far as to cut her ties with her father pack , he never even perceived this possibility . Hayley was too loyal too caring for her people to let them go , but the Elders has proved him wrong , they had managed to push Hayley to her limit and step in a Hidden line that finally made her snap and cut her ties to the wolves .
" Hayley ! " . Jackson gasped in disbelieve .
" Andrea ! " . Alpha Blake exhaled in disbelieve .
" don't be rash child , you don't understand what you are saying " . Ansel reproached with a frown .
" Hayley ! , you fought tooth and nail to save your people , aided them in everything , the leadership is yours by blood and effort " . he reasoned with her , not willing yo let Hayley give up in what's rightfully Hers , his beloved was born a Queen and no one can take that from her and she can't give her birthright to low live like Kenner , " it's those racist old fools who should step down , he should step down , he has no right to take your birthright to rule your people for you " . he insisted passionately .
Hayley gave him a weak smile as she stared meaningfully at him , " Klaus you Remember when I told you that I don't want to rule by force , a true alpha do what's best for his people , if they can't respect me or follow me for me , or place their trust fully in me and what and who I'm , then how will I be their leader , it's better to just let it go " .
" but they are your family ! , you searched for them your entire life " . Kol reminded her agitatedly .
" I did , and I considered them my family and loved them as such , but ... turn out everything was just a wishful thinking on my part " . Hayley replied bitterly as she held back her tears , she smiled at him and stated , " and I still found another family in Hope ...and all of you " .

Elijah smiled comfortingly at her and echoed his brother statement , " you were always one of us , from the moment you stepped a foot in our family , always and forever " .
" same here , you are my friend and my sister mother , you are my family and can count on me " . Marcel declared with a soft smile .
" my first brotherly act is to dispose the insulting mutt head in a mantle and hang it in your room " . Kol declared with a glare to the pale and stumped Gareth .
Hayley giggled and dissuaded him , " no Need for morbid displays , I know that you love me " .
He squeezed her hand tightly and she smiled back at him warmly , no word was need between them to understand that they are and always will be family , he and Hayley are tied Together by their little Hope , and the strong emotional tie that has been flourishing since she slapped him in her bedroom .
Alpha Clark cleared his throat pointedly and stared at his father meaningfully , " considering the new ... Development , we will take our leave . but we want you to understand that we and all our Allies and our packs are placing our Hope , Allegiances and power on you and your Daughter , one day Hopefully in the bear future , Hope Mikaelson will flourish and activate her full power , she is destined to unite us all , we Hope that you are her parents and family will put your hand in ours and help path away for her " .
Hayley frowned in displeasure , and he exchanged an understanding look with his brothers and father , now understanding what the wolves are getting at . " I promise to give your offer and suggestion of alliance and unity it's due consideration , and you are right that a matter of such importance and far reaching consequence will need a meeting of it's own " .
Alpha Clark nodded and exchanged another meaningful look with his father , before motioning everyone that they should leave , Ansel had guided them to the front Door while the two Kenner's lingered to talk with Hayley .
She pulled her hand from His grip and moved toward the two , and the three stood looking at eachothers awkwardly for a few seconds before Jackson took Hayley's hand in His , and stared into her eyes and stated sincerely , " I'm sorry ... For keeping the truth about your parents death from you ... For what Gareth said " .
Hayley shoke her head at him and assured him , " I know I understand ... It's not your fault Jackson " . not his fault ! , it's all this mutt and his old crone doing ,if not for thus two and their fanatic supports nothing of this would have happened .
Mary hugged Hayley tightly and whispered to her , " we are your family , I know that you are hurt at the two words but to us ... To me , you will always be a granddaughter " .
Hayley's eyes teared and she nodded to the two , " Take care of yourselves and if you need anything or had any problem contact me " .
Jackson pulled Hayley's arm and turned her to him as he insisted , " I love you , I had loved you even before I had met you and madly so after I got to know you , Hayley please cone back and let's talk this ... Don't let thing end like this between us , you are and always be one of us ... You and Hope both are crescents ... You two bear the marks in your body's ... You are one of us " .
Hayley smiled at him a bittersweet smile and agreed , " we really need to talk ... But not now " .
Jackson nodded and promised her with a firm conviction , " I will be waiting for you ... You can come whenever you want ... When you are ready " .
Hayley smiled and the two gave her long , lingering hugs before leaving , Hayley turned to him and brushed the tear that fell down her cheek with the heel of her palm , he moved to comfort her , to jug her and assure her that he will make everything right , when the loud cries of Hope rang around the second floor , He noticed the way Hayley stiffened , her eyes glazing for a second before she speed out the Room , most probably to tend to their Daughter .
Kol didn't waste a chance to escape to Davina company as Marcel made his way to his drinking buds , His father returned from sending their guests off and waved him over , he followed him and was surprised when he left the compound and made his way to a secluded parr of The nearby park . " what is it ? " . he asked apprehensively .
Ansel sat on a the bench and gestured to him to sit , " I have something important to discuss with you " . he stated calmly .
He raised his brow at him , finally its coming , " does it have to do with whatever you , Alpha's Clark , Osborne and Blake had planned " .
Ansel smirked at him and asked him with curious amusement , " was it that obvious " . he raised his other brow and reminded him , " Father , I may be forever twenty five in looks but I'm over a thousand years old , I know when I'm being schemed at , what is it then , surprise me ? ".
Ansel sighed and stated firmly , " you are right , we want something from you , we are in a way scheming for your benefit " .
" How so ? " . he demanded sarcastically .
" now that Hayley engagement is broken , we will prefer if you and her will settle down unit us by ... Mary eachothers " . Ansel announced shocking him to the core .
