When The Future Meets The Past

Harriet was getting ready to return to Hogwarts to redo her seventh year and she was in Diagon Alley gathering her school books. When she bumped into a couple.

"I'm so sorry." Harriet said.

"No problem, in fact we're glad that we bumped into you." The woman said.

Harriet seemed confused.

"What my wife means is that we need your help and you're the only one that we can depend on, Miss Potter?" The man said.

Harriet blinked and asked, "How can I help you?"

"You will take care of our son. He's only a year old and his name Sirius James Snape." The woman said.

Harriet's eyes went wide as she realized who the father was of the baby boy and said, "I will do it, and I guess it will give more experience with children besides my godson that I managed to see a little bit."

The man and the woman smiled.

"We know that you will do well, Miss Potter because the future depends on it. I know I'll regret this later, but this potion will help you with feeding him." The man said handing her the potion.

Harriet blushed as she figured what the man meant and said, "Thank you and I promise to protect him as if he were my own."

"All we ask is that you don't reveal who his parents are to anyone unless there is a reason." The woman said.

"Ma'am? Sir? You have my word, but if I figure out who you two are then I'll keep it to myself. However, I have a feeling already who your husband is." Harriet said.

The woman smiled but was also surprised.

The man just smiled.

A few days later...

There were rumors going around Hogwarts about being a young mother; but no one knew who the father was.

Professor Snape was the one that noticed Miss Potter was handling herself as she was declared by none other than Ron Weaseley as a slut. He watched as she slapped him across the face. As did everyone else who was stunned.

Then he heard Mr. Longbottom say, "Ron. you're an idiot. I don't know who the father of Harriet's baby is but at least she knows what to do for him. Even some of Professors have respect for because despite being a single mother; she's not going to drop out of school."

"I agree with Neville." Luna said suddenly.

Severus was shocked when his godson, Draco Malfoy spoke, "I know that Potter and I have never gotten along, but even I have respect for her. If you've not noticed, Potter is close to clasping from being tired of taking care of her son and she's pushing herself for his sake."

Flitwick was stunned to see that the Malfoy heir was even defending Harriet Potter.

Suddenly, Moaning Myrtle came into the Great Hall crying.

"Myrtle, what is it?" Sir Nicholas questioned.

"It's Harriet. She's been attacked and she's hurt badly; she was protecting the baby. " Myrtle said.

Professor Snape immediately stood up and head to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom followed by Draco, Neville, and Luna as well as a few others.

Moaning Myrtle's bathroom...

Pansy was still attacking Harriet as was holding little Siri to her chest to protect to him and he was crying.

Just then, Severus along with the three that had followed him were stunned to see that it was Pansy Parkinson attacking Harriet.

"PARKINSON!!" Severus yelled.

Harriet heard Professor Snape yell and she could hear the panic in his voice. Then she heard the voices of Malfoy, Neville. and Luna.

Pansy was shocked at seeing Professor Snape as well as Draco with Longbottom and Lovegood to come and save Potter.

Severus casted the spell that tied Parkinson up.

"Why are you helping Potter, Draco?" Pansy asked.

Draco watched as his godfather went to see if Potter and her baby were okay and answered Pansy, "I don't know who the father of Potter's baby is but I'm helping her because she would probably do the same if I was in her situation. Plus, Potter forgave me when she didn't have to."

"The past few weeks, Harriet has done everything a single parent would do for their child or children. Even with everyone saying bad things about her; she continued to care for her baby and you're a coward to attack her when she was tired, Parkinson. " Neville said.

Harriet was completely weakened and handed baby Siri to Professor Snape and said, "His parents left him in my care, Professor. They asked me to care for him even if it meant putting myself in harm's way once."

"Potter, what's his name?" Severus questioned.

"Sirius James Snape. I have a feeling his parents are from the future." Harriet said weakly and softly.

Severus was stunned because the baby boy that Potter had been taken care of was his son. He looked at her and said quietly, "Thank you for everything you have done for him."

"My pleasure, Professor Snape." Harriet said softly.

"We need to get Harriet to the Hospital Wing." Luna said.

Draco automatically casted a spell that created a stretcher. He gently lifted Potter onto the stretcher then they left the bathroom and headed to the Hospital Wing. As they made their hospital wing; students, professors, ghosts, and the portraits stopped what they were doing.

Albus and Minerva were stunned to see Harriet in a horrible situation. They also noticed that Severus was carrying the baby.

In the Hospital Wing...

Madam Pomfrey was setting everything up if a certain student ever ended up in here. She just hoped that Miss Potter wouldn't since she had a little boy; but she wondered if the baby was Miss Potter's baby at all.

Suddenly, Severus Snape appeared holding the baby and Miss Potter was behind him on a stretcher and Miss Parkinson was bound.

"What happened?" Poppy questioned.

"The baby that was obviously left in her care and she was protecting him because she made a promise to his parents. " Severus stated.

"Parkinson attacked Harriet in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom." Luna said.

Madam Pomfrey began on diagnostic spells on Harriet Potter as well as the baby. She was shocked to learn that the baby belonged to both Severus and Miss Potter. However, she wondered if Harriet knew that the baby was really her's and her Potions Professor's. She also realized that Severus had said that Potter had made a promise to the baby's parents that she wouldn't reveal who they were.

Harriet was asleep and the baby was crying.

"Does Miss Potter have a bottle, Severus?" Poppy asked.

"I believe so, Poppy. Accio, diaper bag!" Severus said.

Suddenly, a diaper bag with a picture of two panthers, two deer, a wolf, and a black dog on it along with a ferret, as well as two other animals. He rummaged through the bag and found an empty potion bottle and then he pulled out the baby bottle.

"Let Mr. Malfoy feed the baby because I'm going to need your help, Severus." Poppy said.

Severus nodded and handed baby Siri to Draco for him to feed.

Draco took the baby and he copied exactly what he had seen Potter do.

Severus was curious what the empty potion was and summoned it.

"Severus, there's a potion in Miss Potter's system that doesn't make sense since she's still a virgin. " Poppy said.

Draco, Neville, Luna, and Pansy heard that.

Severus heard Poppy and looked at the empty potion bottle. He read the words 'lactation' on the potion label and was shocked that he fainted as he realized what this potion was allowing Potter to do.

Next thing, everyone heard was a very loud thud.

Poppy looked to see that Severus Snape had fainted for some reason. She levitated him to a bed that was across Miss Potter.

Later that day...

Harriet came around and asked, "Where's the baby?"

"He's right here, Potter." Draco said handing her the bundle in a blanket.

Harriet took the baby from Malfoy and said, "Thank you, Malfoy."

"Malfoy, we better let Professor Snape and Madam Pomfrey know that Harriet is awake." Neville said.

Draco nodded and went to find them.

Just then, Dumbledore and McGonagall entered along with another wizard.

Harriet had bad feeling about this; but what surprised her was that Neville and Luna were standing beside her as if they were protecting her.

"Miss Potter, this is Mr. Tibbs. He'll be taking the baby to an orphanage." Dumbledore stated.

Harriet was not pleased and said, "ALEC!!!"

Dumbledore, Mr. Tibbs, and McGonagall wondered who Miss Potter was screaming for.

At that moment, Severus Snape appeared and he heard Miss Potter scream for someone called Alec.

"Severus, what are you doing here?" Minerva asked.

Severus ignored her and went to Harriet's side; he felt magic radiate off her and he was concerned for the baby.

Dumbledore watched as Miss Potter handed the baby to Severus for some reason.

Suddenly, the room got very cold and then they heard a voice say, "You called, Mistress."

Everyone in the room saw a man dressed in black business suit standing next to Harriet.

Harriet turned to face him and said, "Alec, Dumbledore is at it again. Only he wishes to take the baby and put him in an orphanage when I have given my word to the parents."

Everyone looked at the man called Alec and from what they could tell; he was not happy at what Harriet had just said.

"ALBUS DUMBLEDORE, YOU WILL NOT TOUCH THE BABY THAT'S IN MY MISTRESS'S ARMS! YOU WILL LEAVE THEM ALONE BECAUSE YOU ARE ALREADY ON THIN ICE WITH MYSELF, FATE, AND LIFE ALONG WITH SEVERAL OTHERS!"

"Mr. Alec, Dumbledore is a good man." McGonagall said.

Alec faced McGonagall and said, "Minerva McGonagall and yes I know who you are. If Dumbledore is such a good man then why did he deny you to raise your godson's daughter after his and his wife's passing!"

Harriet was stunned as was Severus to here that.

Minerva was stunned and looked at Albus.

Dumbledore was about to say something when he heard, "Are you not going to answer her, Dumbledore?"

Everyone turned to see nine well ten people standing there.

Harriet wasn't exactly surprised but smiled.

Severus saw Harriet smiling and for some reason he couldn't help but smile as well.

"Who are you?" Mr. Tibbs questioned.

"We are Harriet's family well some of them." A familiar voice said.

Albus Dumbledore was confused here.

Suddenly, the Weaseleys walked in once they received a message from Ron and they were stunned to see a lot of people in there.

One person walked over to Arthur and said, "Arthur Weaseley, thank you for caring for Harriet."

"You're welcome." Arthur said confused.

Then the person turned to Molly and said, "You'll be the next one he chews out along with Ron, Ginny, and Hermione."

"Who are you?" Molly questioned.

"I surprised that you don't recognize us but we've seen what you have done behind Arthur's back."

Harriet and Severus were stunned to hear that. However, to Harriet it made sense.

Ron noticed that their were six well five people near Harriet and Professor Snape; because the sixth person was apparently chewing Professor Dumbledore out.

The person walked back to the group around Harriet and Severus.

"What's going on?" Hermione asked.

"I don't know." Ron said.

Suddenly, there was two growls from behind them.

"Stay away!" Ginny said.

"We trusted you!"

"You betrayed and are not better than the rat!"

Suddenly, two adults appeared and were surprised and the woman said, "I didn't expect this to happen."

"I don't think neither one of us knew that this would happen?" The man said.

They walked towards the bed where they had feeling that their past selves were.

"Who are you two?" Dumbledore questioned.

The couple ignored Dumbledore and the woman said, "Miss Potter, sorry about all of this.

Harriet just smiled at the woman and said, "I wouldn't trade it for the world. However, I didn't think something like this would happen."

Severus just happened to look up to see who Harriet was talking to. He was shocked to see his future self standing there with a woman.

The woman smiled and said, "I hope Sirius James wasn't too much trouble."

Two of the men that were fussing at Dumbledore stopped and turned.

"He was no trouble and I kept my word to the both of you." Harriet said handing the baby back to his mother.

Dumbledore walked over to the two adults and said, "Well, it seems the baby his with his true parents."

The two adults from the future looked at Dumbledore furiously.

"I see that you are still manipulative as ever." The man said.

Dumbledore was confused.

Molly approached and slapped the man across the face.

Both Harriet and the woman gasped to see Molly resort to such means.

Harriet turned to look at Professor Snape to see a hand print forming on his face. She realized that this was sort of proof that Professor Snape was the father of baby Siri.

"Professor Snape?" Harriet said.

"Yes?" Severus said.

"A hand print is forming on your cheek." Harriet said.

Poppy was shocked but applied a healing balm to Severus's cheek.

The Future Professor Snape looked at Harriet and said, "I think you figured it out before hand but kept it to yourself. However, at the last minute, you told my past self of my son."

Everyone gasped in shock at hearing that.
