A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter twenty-five of this story. Here, Lori is visited by her family members and Luna has a heart to heart with her as well with Leni.
Disclaimer: I don't own the Loud House
Lori Loud was miserable. She burned bridges with her family and nearly died all in a short period of time. As she lay in her hospital bed, trying to eat the food, she wondered what was going to happen when she got out. As she finished, her door opened.
"Lori!" cried Lynn Sr. overjoyed.
Lynn Sr. raced to his eldest daughter with Rita and Luna behind him.
"I'm so glad you're okay!" declared Lynn Sr.
Rita and Luna joined Lynn Sr. at the bedside of Lori.
"We'll glad you're okay." said Rita.
Lori remained silent as she hung her head.
"Baby, what's wrong?!" asked Lynn Sr. frantic.
"What do you want me to say?" asked Lori stoically.
"What do you mean?" asked Rita.
"I'm a teenage drunk who threw her future away for slutty photos and nearly killed herself driving drunk." answered Lori
Lori tightened her fists.
"I'm a disgrace to this family." said Lori mournfully.
"Never say that again!" demanded Lynn Sr. fiercely.
"We'd never think that about you." agreed Rita.
"You should." said Lori.
Lynn Sr. was visible heartbroken.
"Just throw me on the street where I belong." requested Lori.
Rita gasped in horror.
"Lori, we aren't kicking you out or anything like that." said Rita.
Lori remained unmoved.
"You can get help for your drinking." said Rita.
"Luke Luna did." added Lynn Sr.
"The one who recovered." muttered Lori.
Luna tensed up.
"You can recover too." stated Lynn Sr.
"I literally doubt it." replied Lori.
"Lori, where is this coming from?" asked Rita worried.
"Look at all the shit I've put the family through!" exclaimed Lori sadly.
Lori began to shake.
"I'm a literal failure." said Lori.
Lynn Sr. began to weep.
"Honey, we haven't been perfect parents either." noted Rita.
Rita needed a moment as she too was becoming emotional.
"You were right, we asked you to take on too many responsibilities when it came to watching your siblings and we're sorry." continued Rita hurting.
Lori remained silent.
"We're going to be more proactive from now so there's no need to worry." said Rita.
"It's my fault. I can't blame others for my problems." replied Lori.
"Honey.." began Rita.
"I should have died in that wreck." said Lori bluntly.
Lynn Sr. completely broke down and Luna balled her fists.
"Mom, I think you need to take dad out so he can calm down." stated Luna.
"What about you?" asked Rita.
"I want to talk to Lori alone." answered Luna.
"Are you sure..." began Rita.
"Lori!" wailed Lynn Sr.
"Yeah." answered Luna firmly.
Rita nodded and put her arm around her husband.
"Let's go outside so you can calm down." said Rita.
Lynn Sr. was a sobbing mess at this point.
"But, Lori..." began Lynn Sr.
"Luna is going to talk to her." replied Rita softly.
"Okay." said Lynn Sr.
Rita led Lynn Sr. away leaving Luna alone with Lori.
"Luna..." began Lori.
"Cut the crap!" snapped Luna.
Lori gave her younger sister a surprised look.
"I know how shit you must feel. I've been there." said Luna.
"You didn't have nude pictures of yourself leaked or nearly died in a car crash." replied Lori.
"But, Brandon almost raped me." noted Luna.
Lori shivered at the thought.
"You want to crawl in a hole and die." guessed Luna.
Lori nodded her head confirming.
"So did I, but I realized you can't." continued Luna.
Lori stayed silent.
"Your life isn't over." stated Luna.
"Yes, it is" muttered Lori sadly.
"No, it freaking isn't!" declared Luna.
Luna calmed herself down.
"There is a great network of support for you." said Luna.
"I'm not going to AA." said Lori firmly.
"Well, I think you should, but I can't force you." conceded Luna.
Lori was a bit relieved at that.
"And I wasn't talking about AA." revealed Luna.
Lori raised her eyebrow in confusion.
"I'm talking about your family." said Luna.
"I literally should have known that." sighed Lori.
"You guys were there for me and we'll be there for you no matter. what. Face it Lori, you're stuck with us." said Luna.
Lori smiled faintly.
"Thank you." said Lori sincerely.
The two sisters hugged.
"First, you need to get off the sauce." began Luna.
"I'm not looking forward to that." confessed Lori.
"It's probably better if you ween yourself off. Going colt turkey isn't fun and is dangerous for alcoholics." said Luna.
"I'm not an alcoholic." stated Lori.
"Seriously, have everything you've been through?" asked Luna stunned.
"I drank too much, but I'm choosing to quit." answered Lori.
"You need to admit you have a problem." noted Luna.
"Can we come back to this?" asked Lori annoyed.
Luna didn't want to agitate Lori further.
"Your friends have all quit so you guys can support each other." said Luna.
"I like that." replied Lori happily.
"Also, your chance at Fairway isn't ruined." continued Luna.
Lori's mood quickly soured.
"Yes, it is." said Lori gloomily.
"The meeting to discuss your future was postponed because of your accident so we have time to get ready." revealed Luna.
"You really think they're going to take me?" asked Lori.
"Not if you don't fight for it." answered Luna.
Lori mulled this over and seemed to agree.
"As for Bobby..." began Luna.
Lori winced at this.
"It's going to be difficult, but you need to work this out together." said Luna.
Lori snickered.
"When did you become such a beacon of wisdom?" asked Lori.
"I had a great older sister to learn from." answered Luna.
The two shared a hug.
"Maybe, my life isn't over." thought Lori hopefully.
The Loud family left soon after. With Vanzilla wrecked, Mr. Grouse let the Loud family use his old red convertible to get around. After Lana fixed it up of course. Leni had started to call it Eliza. Luna was thinking about Leni and decided she had to talk with her. She was surprised they got home so quickly, until she realized they were at Flip's.
"Dad, what are we doing here?" asked Luna.
"I have business to take care of." answered Lynn Sr. flatly.
"Honey, whatever you're thinking of doing, it isn't worth it." pleaded Rita.
Lynn Sr. slammed his fist on the steering wheel.
"That hell it isn't!" declared Lynn Sr.
Lynn Sr. jumped out of the car.
"I want to make Flip pay, but the last thing we need is you in jail." stated Rita.
"Right now, I don't give a damn." said Lynn Sr.
"I think he should do it." stated Luna.
"Honey..." began Rita.
Suddenly, the door opened and Flip stepped outside.
"If you're here for something I ain't go all day." said Flip impatiently.
Lynn Sr. balled his fists angrily.
"If you're going to see Lori, tell her to get well soon 'cause I've got some modeling for her." added Flip.
Lynn Sr. was seeing red.
"You guys are lucky, more people have jerked it to Lori than any other model my guy has posted." said Flip.
Flip laughed and went back inside as that was the final straw for Rita.
"Make that son of a bitch hurt." said Rita.
Lynn Sr. marched inside and found Flip back behind the counter.
"So, what can I do ya for?" asked Flip.
Lynn Sr. answered with a right hook that knocked Flip to the ground.
"If you ever try something like with any of my children again, you'll be a dead man!" declared Lynn Sr.
Lynn Sr. turned and began to leave.
"Don't go too far, the cop will be wanting to talk with you." said Flip.
Lynn Sr. stopped in his tracks.
"You're going to call the police with all the crimes you commit and the warrants I'm sure are out on you?" asked Lynn Sr.
Flip froze as the realization set in. Lynn Sr. returned to the car and the family returned home. They updated the others on Lori's condition and left out the part where Lynn Sr. slugged Flip. Flip got was he deserved was all they said. Once the finished, the siblings dispersed. Luna followed Luan and Leni to the room they shared.
"Luan, I need to talk with Leni alone." noted Luna.
"I get it." replied Luan.
Luan got up left the room shutting the door behind her.
"So, how are you doing?" asked Luna.
"I'm glad Lori is getting out of the hospital." answered Leni.
The two sat on Luan's bed.
"She's really looking forward to coming home." said Luna.
"That's totes good." said Leni flatly.
Luan could tell Leni clearly bothered by something and she had a good idea what it was.
"I shouldn't tell you this, but dad punched Flip." revealed Luna.
"O M Gosh." said Leni surprised.
"He was still being a total sleaze and deserved it." stated Luna.
"I don't like violence, but I am glad he got punished." said Leni.
Leni faintly smiled at the thought.
"That improved her mood a bit." thought Luna pleased.
Luna cleared her throat.
"Lori...is going to stop." said Luna.
"Drinking?" asked Leni hopeful.
"Yeah. I'm going to help her stop drinking and fix her mistakes." answered Luna.
Leni tightly hugged Luna.
"You're so amazing!" declared Leni jubilant.
"Can't...breath..." said Luna hurting.
Leni let go of her tight hold and Luna took several deep breaths.
"That's...a...great...bearhug." panted Luna.
"Sometimes I don't know my own strength." noted Leni embarrassed.
Luna was glad to be able to breathe again.
"I know you're upset we kept you in the dark." noted Luna.
"But it was always sunny out." replied Leni confused.
"I mean...that we didn't tell you how bad Lori was hurt." explained Luna.
Leni winced a bit.
"That totes hurt." stated Leni.
Leni began to get emotional.
"Just because I'm not as smart as everyone else doesn't mean I'm dumb."
Leni began to shake.
"You don't need to hide things from me." said Leni hurt.
Luna embraced her sister.
"From now on, I promise not to do that." vowed Leni.
"Thanks." replied Leni gratefully.
A/N: So that's where we'll end things for now. Lori wants to turn her life around and Luna wants to help. Plus, Flip got his punishment. Next time, Lori leaves the hospital then begins trying to fix her mistakes while restarting her life. Please review.
