A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter twenty -six of this story. Here, Lori returned home and tries to return to her life while making up for her mistakes.
Disclaimer: I don't own the Loud House
Another week passed by. The police never came so Lynn Sr. was able to get away with punching Flip. She healed well and was able to do physical therapy at home with help from her parents so Lori was being released. Lori was picked up by her parents and returned home. Taking a deep breath, Lori opened the door to find her siblings waiting for her.
"I'm back." said Lori nervously.
Seven of the ten siblings quickly swamped Lori.
"We were so worried about you!" declared Lana.
"Never do something like that again!" demanded Lola.
"I won't." said Lori.
"You're one soul I prefer talking to in the world of the living." said Lucy.
"Thanks." replied Lori, a tad bit creeped out.
"I told you, Lori is tough. I knew she'd pull through." boasted Lynn Jr.
"I'm glad you had confidence in me." chuckled Lori.
"It was kind of scary knowing you were hurt." revealed Luan.
"I shouldn't have worried you as much as I did." sighed Lori.
"We're all glad you're back." noted Lincoln.
The others agreed including Lily who cooed happily.
"I'm glad to be back." said Lori.
Luna had stayed back since she knew of Lori's condition. However, she now stepped forward.
"Okay guys, give her some room." requested Luna.
"But she just got back." protested Lana.
"I know." said Luna.
"And we want to make sure she's all better." stated Lola.
"I will be." replied Lola.
"Luna will literally make sure of that." noted Lori.
"We're all going to help her." stated Luna.
Lori looked over at Leni and Lisa who had also stayed back.
"I start here." thought Lori.
Lori walked up to the two.
"I'm sorry." stated Lori.
Leni and Lisa didn't respond.
"I know you literally want more..." began Lori.
Lori tensed up.
"Let it out." said Luna.
Lori regained her composure.
"There's nothing I can do to make up for the way I hurt you both." continued Lori.
"Hard to disagree with that statement." muttered Lisa.
Lori flinched.
"I worked so hard for that bracelet and you sold it to get drunk." noted Leni hurt.
"I know and that incredible stupid of me to do." said Lori.
Lori wanted to kick herself so hard for that.
"But I promise I will go back tomorrow..." began Luna.
"I afraid that will have no point." stated Lisa.
"Huh?" asked Lori confused.
"I managed to track down the establishment at which would you sold said bracelet and it has always been given to another person in exchange for financial payment." explained Lisa.
Everyone gave Lisa a blank look.
"I called the pawn shop and they already sold the bracelet." groaned Lisa.
Leni sadly hung her head.
"I promise I will literally do whatever it takes to make it up to you." vowed Lori.
"I just want one thing." requested Leni.
"Whatever it is, I will do it." replied Lori.
"Never go back to that again." said Leni.
"I promise I won't." stated Lori.
Leni tightly hugged her sister.
"Too tight." said Lori.
Leni let go allowing Lori to breath. Lori then turned all of her attention to Lisa.
"Lisa, there is no excusing what I did." started Lori.
"When you jerked my right arm in a motion that caused my brain to recognize the sensation of pain." said Lisa.
"Yeah." confirmed Lori.
"I would like you to say it." revealed Lisa.
"When I jerked your arm hurting you." said Lori.
"You may continue." replied Lisa.
"I realize you wanted to help me and I was horrible to you." said Lori.
"Indeed." said Lisa.
"I hurt my own sister. My four-year-old sister." continued Lori.
Lori felt her throat getting tighter.
"I was a monster." stated Lori.
"While your actions were reprehensible, I would not go that far." said Lisa.
"I hurt my little sister! That's only something a monster would do!" declared Lori.
Lori began to quiver.
"I'm literally the worst." said Lori sadly.
Luna came over and put her hand on Lori's shoulder.
"It's okay. Deep breaths." whispered Luna.
Lori knelt down n be on Lisa's eye level.
"I just want you to know I am literally sorry from the bottom of my heart." said Lori.
Lisa maintained a poker face.
"I don't deserve you." said Lori.
"However, we are bound together." said Lisa.
Lori gave Lisa a confused look.
"If I am correct, "blood is thicker than water" is how the saying goes." said Lisa.
"Does that mean..." began Lori hopeful.
"As my sister, I will always love you. Apology accepted." answered Lisa.
"Thank you!" cried Lori overjoyed.
Things improved for Lori over the next few days. With help from her family, she managed to live a sober life. Luckily, Lynn Jr. was more than willing to help with her physical rehabilitation. However, today proved to be a tense one as Lori was to return to school. Her suspension had run its course and Principal Rivers had to intent on punishing Lori further given what happened, but it was the other students who Lori worried about.
"How are you holding up?" asked Luan.
With no car, the girls decided to walk to school hoping to avoid their fellow classmates as long as possible.
"I literally feel like puking." answered Lori anxiously.
"Maybe you should have stayed home." proposed Leni.
Lori shook her head.
"I can't avoid this forever." noted Lori.
"Do you like, know when you're going to get your license back?" asked Leni.
"I'll probably have to take lessons again." answered Lori.
"Oh My Gosh! I could never do that!" exclaimed Leni.
"Lori, you know we're here for you." said Luna.
"I'm going to need it." groaned Lori.
"Like, what's the worst that could happen?" asked Leni.
"Given the rumors that have been going around, a lot." muttered Luan.
Lori felt a pain in the pit of her stomach.
"We're here for you." stated Luna.
"Yeah." agreed Luan.
"Totes." agreed Leni.
They arrived at the high school.
"Lori!" cried a familiar voice.
Carol Pingrey ran over and hugged Lori while Roger, Becky, Dana and Whitney followed.
"I was so worried about you." revealed Carol.
"You were literally right. I shouldn't have been such a bitch." said Lori sadly.
"I don't care about that. You're okay and that's all that matters." replied Carol.
"That goes for all of us." added Roger.
Lori got emotional.
"That means so much." said Lori, choking up.
Lori looked over at the other three friends.
"We're so sorry for pushing you into this." said Becky regretfully.
"We know we don't deserve to be forgiven." added Dana sadly.
"No, I'm the most to blame here." replied Whitney.
"My sisters have told me you feel bad and I can literally see it. Plus, you did encourage me to sober up." stated Lori.
'Does that mean..." began Becky hopefully.
"I've literally forgiven you." revealed Lori.
"Thank you!" declared Dana overjoyed.
The bell suddenly rang.
"Uh oh, we have to go or we'll be late." noted Whitney urgently.
Lori took a deep breath.
"I can do this." said Lori.
The group entered the high school and Lori immediately saw people staring.
"That's Lori Loud." whispered Sooyoung.
"I'm amazed she showed up." whispered Bianca.
"I heard she got drunk and walked into traffic." whispered Spencer concerned.
"Please, I heard she got beat by her pimp." whispered Rex.
"I can do this. I can do this." said Lori.
"Slut." coughed a student.
"Who the hell said that?!" asked Luna angrily.
"Calm down." said Carol.
Luna took a deep breath and calmed herself down.
"Anyone who talks shit has to deal with me." warned Luna.
"Me too!" Luan.
"Me seven!" exclaimed Leni.
Carol, Becky, Dana and Whitney joined in.
Everyone stayed quiet.
"Let's go." said Lori.
The morning went by decently. The warnings of the others managed to secure that. However, whispers and rumors still floated around. Principal Rivers pulled Lori aside and assured her that the staff of the school would support. At lunch time, the students gathered the cafeteria. Lori was sitting and eating with her friends glad to try and forget what was going on.
"So, have you figured out what you're going to say to fairway?" asked Becky.
"Literally no idea." answered Lori flatly.
"I'm sure once they talk to you and understand, they'll let you in." said Dana.
"I literally hope so." groaned Lori.
"Make sure they know we pushed you into it." added Whitney.
"That would be diverting blame and I can't do that." replied Lori.
"Mature of you." mused Roger.
"I guess the old Lori is back." shrugged Lori.
"And that's excellent to hear." stated Carol.
The others all agreed.
"If you want, we can come along as character references." offered Carol.
"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind." said Lori.
Suddenly, someone walked over to the table.
"Well look whose back.' said Nathaniel.
"What do you want?" asked Lori annoyed.
"Your sister was quite rude to me a while back." replied Nathaniel.
"From what I heard; you were harassing Luan." noted Luan annoyed.
"Your sister got detention, but that's not enough." said Nathaniel.
At this point, everyone was looking at them.
"You want a cookie or something?" asked Lori.
"I want an apology." answered Nathaniel.
"Keep dreaming." scoffed Lori.
"I want a special apology." continued Nathaniel.
"And that would be?" asked Lori.
"A blowjob." answered Nathaniel.
An incredulous Lori jumped to her feet.
"You disgusting sicko!" snapped Lori.
Luna quickly stormed over.
"I warned you once!" declared Luna.
"I've literally got this." stated Lori.
"Oh, you're going to do it." replied Nathaniel.
"I'd need a magnifying glass to find the puny worm you call a dick." spat Lori.
Other kids laughed angering Nathaniel.
"You bitch!" spat Nathaniel.
"A furious Nathaniel pushed Lori back into her chair.
"Before it would have assault, but you shoved me first so now its self-defense." noted Lori.
Lori jumped up and quickly pinned Nathaniel on the floor.
"Get off me!" declared Nathaniel.
"I thought he'd like being dominated." mused Luna.
Other teachers came broke the fight up. Luckily, there were plenty of witnesses testifying Nathaniel was the instigator.
"I've got to get used to the rumors and name calling. But that doesn't mean I can't stand up for myself." shrugged Lori.
A/N: That's where we'll end things for now. So, Lori has begun making amends and is dealing with the negative sides of her drinking. Also, I couldn't let Nathaniel get away that easily. Next time, Lori tried to make amends with Bobby and tried to re-gain her acceptance to Fairway. Please review.
