So this is a pairing that I haven't written for in a long time since '5 years and counting.' I am a sucker for a good Lavia and I did tell myself as well as promise others I will start writing for this pairing a bit more. My inspiration? FantasticNic! So this oneshot was due yesterday, but due to being out in a music festival all weekend, I was unable to upload. FantasticNic is a fantastic Gruvia AND Lavia writer! If you haven't already, go and check out her stuff! But yesterday (20th June) was her birthday! When she told me, I immediately thought of the perfect Lavia oneshot that I hoped she would love and she does!

Oneshot
Juvia inhaled deeply as she woke up and out of her slumber. She could feel some extra weight at her back, an arm lazily slung over her waist. Someone's breath puffed out on her neck, in and out. She could feel her back pressed up against a tremendous amount of muscles, the man's chest nicely sculpted with washboard worthy abs.
Juvia rested her hand on the sleeping male's hand, happy to keep him there and let him sleep. She glanced up at the clock on the bedside table and frowned a little bit, wondering why in the hell she had woken up so early. No way. She was going to close her eyes and try to go back to bed, because 9:47am after a wild night such as the one she had last night was too early for her to be awake for.
She could feel her body temperature rise when the man behind her moved slightly and his morning glory grazed her buttcheeks. She bit her lip from the memory of his hard dick within her from the night before and she unconsciously rubbed him back.
"Yesterday was definitely the best birthday ever."
"So Juvia, do you have any plans for your birthday?"
The girl shook her head. "It's not that important. I'm only turning 22. Hardly anything to blink at. I'm just thinking of having a calm day."
Cana came and jumped her friend, grabbing her boobs as she did. Juvia flushed which annoyed her. She should be used to it by now, it was Cana for crying out loud.
"C-Cana-chan! Stop that!'
"Aww, but they're soft and big! But okay." She released them with one last squeeze and Lisanna snickered at Juvia's blushing expression.
"But you're wrong about having a quiet day. Us two are taking you to the spa for the day. Good thing ya didn't make any plans I guess!"
Juvia didn't look too impressed. "A spa? Cana-chan, you just want to see me naked!"
The card mage wiggled her eyebrows, not denying what Juvia was accusing her of, but not calling it truth either. She shrugged her shoulders and sipped her beer, making Lisanna's take over with the explanation.
"But yes, we're taking you to a spa. We're going to get you all relaxed from the amount of jobs that you've been taking. One would think you're having a competition with Natsu! To make matters worse, you've been dragging us on all these jobs too. What's going on with you?"
Juvia blinked, trying to act oblivious but there was no way she could lie to her friends. She sighed and drummed her fingers on the table, wondering how to say it.
"Well, I just want to get stronger, you know? I know I'm an S class mage again, but sometimes I feel...like I'm not good enough to be seen as an S class mage. I want to make a name for myself like Erza-chan, Mira-chan or even Laxus. Even Natsu was known before he became one!"
Cana blinked, wondering where this had all come from, but Lisanna's eyes twinkled. Juvia couldn't look at her as her cheeks heated up. Lisanna had probably already guessed the real reason.
"Oh I see. You just want to show him that you're not a burden and that you can do all the same jobs that he does too, right?"
Cana looked between the two of them, pouting that she was missing something here. "He? Who's 'he'? What have you told Lisanna that you haven't told me?!"
"Nothing!" Juvia squeaked out. "I haven't mentioned anything to her! She's lying!"
Lisanna was not about to sit around and be called a liar to her face. "I am NOT lying! It's literally written all over your face how much you like Lax-mph!"
Cana's eyes widened in amusement and Juvia's widened in fear as she had tried her very best to silence her friend, but had failed miserably. Cana was never going to let her live it down and she was going to try her best to pair the two of them together. Not like Juvia didn't want the help, she just wanted to do things her way. Knowing Cana, she would want to seduce him by inviting him to the spa day and ripping off her towel in front of him.
"You like Lax-mph!"
Juvia slammed her other hand over her mouth and gave them both an incredulous look. "Do the both of you not remember how to use your inside voices?! Why the hell are you trying to yell it out for the whole guild to hear?" She hissed out, annoyed that they would give her away like that. Her eyes darted around to see that everyone was well engrossed in their own thing. She looked over at where the Thunder god tribe usually sat and sighed when they weren't there.
She glared at her two friends as she removed her hand from their mouths. "Don't shout stuff like that out! First things first. Lisanna, how did you even know?"
"Every time the two of you talk, it sounds like...you're flirting. I don't know, I was kinda fishing at first, but your reaction just now made me know I was right."
Juvia sighed and shrugged, her eyes wandering to where Laxus usually sat. There was no use in hiding it "I'm pretty sure I don't need to say this, but he's so attractive-"
"You really don't. That man is a sexy specimen and honestly, I wouldn't mind tapping that."
Juvia chuckled darkly. "But I would. No, but seriously, I do really like him, but I don't know what to say to him. I mean, how am I supposed to let him know that I really like him? I don't want to look like my old self who was just Gray crazy, this is Laxus. He would never tolerate that and I'm above acting like that now."
Cana reached out and wrapped an arm around Juvia's shoulder and pulled her into her side with a wide grin. "And this is exactly why we're going to a spa! We're gonna get you relaxed and feeling like a Queen! We'll get you all dolled up, get some alcohol in ya and you can ask him out! Solid plan, right?"
Lisanna nodded eagerly and they turned to Juvia who actually looked like she was contemplating it. Looking at both of her friends, she decided to entertain the idea. Screw it, it's her birthday after all. They were right, she had been working so hard for so long that she needed to let her hair down. She bit her lip at the thought of Laxus and decided that she was going to do anything to get herself a man.
"Fine, I'll do it. It sounds like fun anyway."
Cana actually squealed in delight and squeezed her boobs yet again. Juvia's face flamed up again and tried to smack Cana's hands away from her. The drunkard pouted playfully before releasing her and pointing her head towards the door. The other two girls turned their heads and saw the Thunder god tribe saunter in. Evergreen led the party back up to their usual table and Bickslow followed behind, clearly pissing her off with comments about Elfman. Freed came in behind them, trying to stop Evergreen from killing him.
Laxus followed his team last, sighing and rubbing at his temples. He had clearly had enough of them and Juvia couldn't help but smile at the sight of him. She ignored the looks that her friends gave her and opted to stare at the man who had captured her heart.
He must have sensed that she was looking at him, because he turned and they immediately locked eyes with one another. A smirk slowly grew on his face as Juvia's cheeks tinted pink and they nodded to each other. He gave her a one over before moving after his team and Juvia focused her attention on her friends as they smirked at her.
"What?" she whispered. "He's hot."
"Are you clenching your legs together?"
"...Let's just go."

Juvia let out a soft moan when she could feel all the knots in her back crink out. She felt good as she could feel all her stress fly away. She could hear Cana and Lisanna groaning as well. She giggled at the noises that they were all making and decided that it was a good idea that she got to spend her birthday doing something. Her plan was to sit at home with a movie and eat some ice cream.
"Aren't you happy that you got to do this?"
"Hmm," she let out, fully immersed in the massage that she was receiving. They had been allowed to use the swimming pool and the gym before their treatment time and they managed to get the most out of everything. They even got mani and pedicures and full on waxes.
The music was calming and Juvia was ready to fall asleep in the dark room. The sounds of the water coming in onto the shore, reminding her of the use of her own magic. Her mind went wandering as she could feel herself being pulled under. As much as she had changed from her 17 year old, Gray loving self, she still let her mind wander from time to time. She still read erotica, but the male lead had changed. Instead of the ice make mage, there stood a lightning dragon slayer in all his broad shouldered glory.
She imagined the way that Laxus' hands touched her all over her body. The way he would gently kiss her neck and suck at her skin all over her body. Juvia hoped that her body wouldn't feel too hot for the masseur. That would be extremely embarrassing, but she couldn't help her thoughts. Not only did she dream of getting fucked by him, she also dreamt of dates.
Holding hands on the beach, eating in restaurants together. Hell, even going on jobs with one another. That was why she wanted to up the amount of S class jobs she went on. She had no intentions of joining his 'bodyguard' team, but going on a job with him alone would be nice. She wanted to prove her worth and show him that she can hold her own, so that he would never have to worry about her.
"So about Laxus...why him?"
Juvia would have shrugged, had she not been receiving a massage. "I think...I don't even really know to be honest. I just remember us being pretty close because of the team for the grand magic games. Master needed us to do some stuff for him that sending out to Team Natsu would be extremely catastrophic. Then I started being the mediator between Gajeel and Laxus' arguments and so on. I remember he came to me one day and apologised for what he did to me. He hurt Gajeel and then he also hurt me.
"Cana-chan, remember when I hurt myself so that you could escape? Laxus purposely overcharged that one, hoping that I would be the one that was hurt when he noticed that I would be in the area."
"T-that fucking bastard. I should cut off his balls for that."
Juvia giggled a little bit at her friend's protectiveness. "But it's okay, because he apologised to me. I'm over it now, so there's no need to look back at him and try to get even. I guess from there, I found myself talking to him a lot more, training with him. He would come and talk to me whenever his team was annoying him as well. I also asked him to train me and give me some tips for the S class mage trials that I went on to pass. He's actually done quite a lot for me, and not once did he grumble or seem ashamed to be seen with me. He's definitely a good friend."
Lisanna hummed. "Only now, you no longer see him as a friend. You're like...in love with him or something."
Juvia panicked and almost sat up. "No, no! It's definitely not love, right? I mean, we just get on really well and I like him, sure. But not love. It can't be love. I'm ready to admit that I don't know what love is."
Her heart was racing at the idea of being in love with Laxus. It wasn't something bad, it's just that after the emotional rollercoaster that was Gray Fullbuster, she didn't want to jump head first into an emotion that she still had no understanding for. Even though she was now 22, she still felt as immature as the day she first laid her eyes on Gray and claimed she was in love with him.
"Nah, I think you've definitely changed. For starters, you actually got to know Laxus and not just fall in love with him at first sight. You've seen the good and the bad things that he's capable of, yet you still want him around. You sound like you've got banter with him too, and on those jobs that we did as a team, you weren't taking any shit from him too. Face it, you love him and this time, you're really in love. He might be the one and there's only one way to find out."
Juvia sighed and mumbled a quick 'fine' before sinking back into the feeling of her back being kneaded.
Juvia was wearing a beautiful sparkly blue strapless cheongsam, one that looked very similar to what Minerva used to wear. She had a slit on both sides of her dress and her hair was up in a high ponytail. Lisanna had done her make up for her and Cana had filled the three of them up with alcohol. Juvia was buzzing a little and she couldn't wait to get to wherever her two friends were taking her to drink more. They hadn't told her where they would be partying yet, but they said it was full of different people.
She was confused why they were heading to the guild, but she didn't mind. She was excited to do anything. Maybe they were going out for more discounted drinks. As in, Cana was just going to waltz into the cellar and help herself. So when everyone was screaming surprise and happy birthday, it made Juvia light up. Lucy, Erza and Levy all came to hug her, as well as many people, showering her with love and gifts. She grinned and laughed with everyone as they started playing music very loudly.
She noted that Laxus was at the bar, watching her and she secretly smiled at him as he patted the stool next to him. She managed to slip away unnoticed and headed straight towards him.
"Happy birthday, Juvia."
Juvia shivered as he placed his arms on her waist, ready to hug her. She grinned at him as her arms slipped around his neck, pulling him in close. She almost moaned when she could feel him on her. Her earlier desires came flooding back now that she had come into contact with him. She then remembered that she had to say something in response.
"Thank you, Laxus. How have you been?"
"Been aight. I'm even better now that you're here though. You look beautiful tonight."
He gave her hips a light squeeze before raising one of her hands up to his lips, letting his breath linger on her knuckles before placing a light kiss on it. Juvia giggled bashfully. "Why thank you. I would be lying if I said you don't look handsome tonight as well. And you smell good."
She leaned in towards his neck and sniffed his cologne lightly, a chuckle rumbling from his chest. Juvia could feel herself melting into a puddle. Usually, she could contain her lust for him, but she was currently tipsy and it was getting harder and harder to keep a lid on it. Still, she didn't want to drink anything more, just in case she got somewhere with Laxus. She wasn't going to let the alcohol get in the way, because contrary to popular belief, Laxus was actually a gentleman. Well, these days.
"You smelling me, Blue?"
One of his hands slipped from her hips and moved to rest on one of her cheeks. Juvia was reminded of the time when Cana said that she had the best ass. She never thought anything of it until Laxus squeezed a bountiful amount of it. This time a moan did slip past her lips.
"L-Laxus..."
She heard him growl at the way she said his name. So she wasn't going crazy. She wasn't the only one who could feel the sexual tension between them. That was good. She wondered if maybe he had any feelings for her or if it was just lust.
"Better go enjoy your party, birthday girl. If not, I might end up keeping ya all to myself," he hissed into her ear. He released his hold on her and she removed her arms from him with a pout. Fine, she was going to let him go for now. But she was going to be back, that's for sure. Laxus growled in response to the noise that she made, the sexual tension was thick in the air.
"Like I said, you better go and enjoy the rest of your party. I can't hog ya all night."
That was exactly what Juvia wanted. She wanted him to hog her, to keep her close and make her feel like she's the only girl in the world.
He released her and she pushed away from him before turning on heel at the sound of her name. She grinned when she saw it was Meredy and her team. The pink haired girl hugged her friend tightly and even the rest of the team did so. Juvia couldn't keep the grin off her face, despite the fact that her cheeks were killing her. She kept Laxus in the back of her mind, but definitely didn't forget about him.
"YO BIRTHDAY GIRL!"
"Please Sting-sama there's no need to shout!" Yukino was scolding her guild master who just so happened to be her boyfriend.
"When in Rome," the blonde guild master rebutted. Juvia snickered at how true that was. It's not like Fairy Tail is a quiet guild where you would need to be silent. It was chaos and she's surprised that she even heard him over the noise.
Rogue just rolled his eyes as he came forward to meet Juvia. The water mage smiled at the sight of the man she had once babysat back in Phantom Lord. Being Gajeel's sworn brother, he automatically became Juvia's sworn brother too.
"Ignore him. Happy birthday, Juvia-nee."
They hugged simply and Juvia squeezed him tightly. She had forgotten how much she had missed him. They hadn't been able to catch up as much as he did with Gajeel, but he was here now. "It's so good to see you again, Rogue-kun! How's everything?!"
"Everything's good, I have no complaints. I got you a present. Also, please don't be alarmed when you see what Sting got you. He's an idiot like that."
Sting just snickered in response and shrugged. Minerva looked sheepish.
"Blame me for that. I was merely telling Sting that I saw Juvia with Laxus on what looked like a date. I forgot that Sting likes to be a clown and he bought you some lingerie."
Juvia's face turned bright red and she started stuttering. She couldn't and she couldn't believe it!
"W-where did you see us?! And we're not dating!"
Sting laughed as if he didn't quite believe it. "Yet. You're not dating yet. Good choice too, I think blondes are way more fun, Yukino here thinks so too."
His girlfriend looked like she wanted to melt into the floor and Minerva had the honours of hurting him for her. Rogue just sighed and turned back to Juvia.
"Unfortunately, Sting still managed to bring that gift along. You don't have to accept it though. If you want me to beat him up, I can."
Juvia snorted and shook her head, receiving gifts from the four of them. "It's okay, I have no problem with that. Thank you all so much for coming, this is such a nice surprise!" She hugged Yukino and Minerva, and as she moved to hug Sting, he shook his head with a smirk, confusing her.
"If I hug you, a certain dragon slayer is gonna chop off my head in jealousy. Now I dunno about you, but I kinda like not being electrocuted."
The water mage blushed and could only imagine Laxus staring over at them. She shook her head and still hugged him anyway.
"Well, you're dating Yukino and it's not like the two of us are together, so he has no right to tell me who I can and can't hug. Even if we were together, he would never be able to control who I hang out with."
Minerva nodded her head with a smirk, happy to know that she was strong and even Yukino nodded in happiness.
"Okay birthday girl, let's get some shots in ya!"
"Did I hear shots?! Let's go!"
Juvia scoffed but let them drag her anyway. Of course Cana had shown up the moment she heard the word 'shots'. The group whooped and cheered as Mira was more than happy to serve them their well deserved drinks. Lisanna jumped back over the group as many people came to give Juvia their birthday message.
The whole entire night, Juvia couldn't stop smiling. She had been away on a very difficult and long job for her 21st and by the time she came back, she didn't see the point in celebrating it. The amount of money she received from the pay was a good enough consolation. This year, she could tell that they had decided to make up for it and she definitely wasn't complaining about that.
Things had pretty much gotten out of hand from the moment Erza challenged her to a drinking contest. Having been tipsy already, Juvia wasn't going to say no. Besides, this was definitely one thing that she knew she was going to beat Erza in. Everyone knew that the redhead was a lightweight, but she just didn't want to admit it.
Victory came to Juvia as she slammed her glass down the same time that Erza slammed her head down as she passed out. Jellal tutted as he picked her up and held her up in his arms. He couldn't help but smile endearingly down at his girlfriend before looking back over at Juvia.
"I guess we're outta here. Juvia, happy birthday."
The birthday girl waved to them as she smirked at Erza's predicament. It wasn't wise to try and challenge a water mage in a fight with alcohol. Even if she hadn't been a water mage, she was friends with Cana and her tolerance had shot right up.
Juvia didn't know exactly what time it was, but the cake was coming out now. Lucy and Levy were rolling it out on a table and Juvia's eyes widened as marvelled at it. It was a tower cake that looked like it had been made for a wedding and she couldn't keep the grin off of her face when she saw that it had been decorated just like the float she had been on in the Fantasia parade.
They all started singing to Juvia as they all clinked their glasses together. Sting started yelling for a speech, which made Natsu join in and soon, everyone was yelling for a speech. Juvia blushed and stood up on the bar.
"Okay, okay! I thank you all for coming to my birthday! This has been the best surprise in my whole life and I'm glad to have so many friends and family. Thank you master for letting me into your guild despite a rocky beginning, and thank you to everyone for forgiving me and letting me stay. Thank you to everyone not part of this guild who is my friend. I love you all!"
Everyone raised their glass and cheered. Juvia jumped down to cut her cake and that's all people started eating. Lucy was yelling at Natsu to not eat all the cake.
Juvia was sipping away on her cocktail when she felt a pair of eyes on her. She knew exactly who was staring at her and she knew that this was finally her time to make a move. She glanced over at Cana and Lisanna as they smirked at her. They mouthed their good luck to her as she nodded and made her way to her destination.
He was sitting on his usual perch on the second floor and thankfully, the floor had been vacant. Juvia spied Evergreen with Elfman, Freed was with Blue Pegasus and Bickslow looked like he was going to annoy Lisanna. That was perfect. She picked up a plate of cake, grabbed two forks and made her way up the stairs.
As her foot touched the top step, their eyes locked. Juvia approached him slowly, her hips swaying. She watched as he licked his lips in anticipation. His eyes watched her hips and Juvia purposely bent down to put the cake on the table. Her breasts almost fell out of her dress and his eyes immediately fell on them.
"I've brought some cake up for you."
Laxus chuckled as she sat down next to him. "You're the birthday girl, I should have brought it to you. What's up, Blue?"
She gave him a sultry smile and she sat close to him. Laxus moved his arm around her body as she placed a hand on his knee. This was it. The time that she had been prepping herself for and she just had to come out and say it. If anything, she could always blame the alcohol if need be.
"I want you. Not just for tonight, I want to be with you. Do you want me as well, or have I read the situation wrong?"
Her heart was thumping in her chest and she was pretty sure that he could hear it. No amount of alcohol could have given her enough courage for this moment. She liked to believe that she was completely different from the 17 year old girl who had been so obsessed with Gray. She hoped that Laxus wouldn't reject her. At least if he did, it wasn't public.
He put his hand under her chin and raised it up so that she was looking at him. "Blue...I would love that, but you're drunk. Come to me tomorrow when you're over your hangover."
Juvia's heart started to race. She didn't hear him say no. That was a good sign. She also flushed at how nice he was being, but it wasn't necessary right now. She knew exactly what she wanted and the drink she had wasn't going to affect it. Instead, she rolled her eyes with a smirk.
"I'm a water mage, Laxus. The most I can get is tipsy before my magic starts to kick in. It's why I knew I could challenge Erza-chan. I mean, anyone could challenge her though, she's a lightweight. I really mean it Laxus, I like you and I'm not hearing you rejecting me so..."
Laxus shook his head with a smirk. "How can I reject you when I feel the exact same way? Come here and let me feed you some cake."
Her cheeks turned scarlet at the idea of Laxus feeding her, but she wasn't against it. In fact, she welcomed it wholeheartedly. She sat even closer as he reached down for a plate of cake and a fork. Juvia opened her mouth when the cake got near her lips and she hummed when she savoured the taste. It was her favourite flavour.
"Is it good?"
"Very. It's my favourite."
"Good, because I was the one who put in the order."
Juvia's eyes as she searched his eyes for the lie. She peered and checked, but came up blank. Laxus really wasn't lying. He really bought the cake.
"Thank you, I didn't even know you knew my favourite cake."
Laxus shrugged as if it were nothing. "You mentioned it one time when you were annoyed that Titania started a guild brawl over her strawberry cheesecake getting smashed up. You said it's nothing to fight over because it's not mango."
Juvia blushed at the memory. She had managed to find Laxus during the brawl and was angry that she was caught in the crossfire. She had ranted and raved to Laxus about how much strawberry shortcake sucked.
"I had cake in my hair that day Laxus, of course I was going to complain about her stupid cake!"
Laxus snickered and brought some more cake up to her lips. She happily accepted it as she opened her mouth for more and Laxus decided that now would be a good time to discuss their feelings for one another.
"You know, I hated you when we first met."
Juvia snorted. "I know. You hated both Gajeel and I for being able to join the guild despite attacking it. I understood where you were coming from. I was scared of you because of what you did to Gajeel. I was waiting for you to come after me."
Laxus frowned. "I would never attack you...now anyway. I'm sorry I scared you. I guess I never really properly apologised to you about it. I just kinda said it in passing."
Juvia rested her hand on his knee once more and smiled at him. "It's okay. Juvia forgave you when we were on the same team together."
Laxus traced a pattern on Juvia's leg. It was poking out of the slit and she shuddered at his touch. "I still remember when you rested my head on your thighs. Can't believe you did that for me when you were so in love with Gray." He was smirking at her and Juvia could remember exactly what incident he was talking about.
"Sh-shut up, you were injured and needed help, of course I wouldn't be thinking of Gray. You're my guild mate too...only I want to be more now."
She didn't open her mouth in time when Laxus accidentally pushed the fork to her lips and the cake fell on the top of her breasts. They both looked down at it and Juvia noticed that Laxus had a red stripe across his cheeks. She giggled at how cute he looked, having not seen him blush before. She pushed out her chest.
"You dropped it, you get it. Take responsibility."
Juvia really didn't know where the courage was coming from, but she wasn't going to fight it. She saw Laxus pause before he did as he was told. She honestly thought that he was going to pick it up with his fingers, but felt a wave of pleasure rush through her navel when he leaned forward and he used his mouth to pick it up with his mouth. His teeth grazed her skin and she moaned. She felt her core tighten a little bit, her desire for the lightning dragon slayer.
"Hmm, you're right, this is good. So that means you must taste good too, right?"
"R-right," she stuttered. Laxus' lips were on hers and he was definitely taking no prisoners. One moment she's sitting next to him, the next she's straddling him. Their mouths moved in perfect sync as her eyes fluttered closed. His hands ghosted across her skin, making their way through the slits of cheongsam and grabbing a fistful of her ass.
Juvia gasped into his mouth, her back arching at his touch. His tongue found hers as they crashed against each other in waves. His right hand came up to pull down her dress from the top and her breasts fell out of the front. This didn't deter the water mage and she further thrust them into his hands. Grinding her hips on his hard on as the party downstairs was soon forgotten.
"Blue," he breathed out when they finally pulled away and gasped for air. "We can't do this here."

Her body tingled and almost spazzed out before she realised that Laxus had used his teleportation spell. He rarely did it with her as her water body didn't really agree with its usage, but she didn't care this time around. The adrenaline from knowing what they were about to get themselves into had taken hold of her and she was more focused on losing her virginity with Laxus.
"I've gotta double check with ya, Blue. You sure you want this?"
Juvia's response was a kiss on the corner of his lips. "I want this, Laxus. I want you. I'm going to wake up tomorrow sore as hell and I won't care because I did it with you. I want to be with you and it's not the alcohol talking."
