This little snippet came up outta nowhere. A little Puckurt fluff piece. Still don't own Glee.
"Noah… Puckerman," a deep voice growled.
No one's ever seen Puck's eyes grow so wide, they looked like saucers. "Oh, no."
He stood at the top of the risers, back against the wall, chair in front of him as if it would protect him. The present members of the Glee club (Artie, Mercedes, Sam, and Finn) had no clue what was going on or who the jock was panicking about. They were in for the surprise of their lives when none other than Kurt Elizabeth Hummel walked through the choir room door.
"Puckerman,,,," he growled again. The gleeks shared disbelieving looks: they knew Kurt's voice could go deep, but nothing like he was doing now.
"Hey-hey Princess," Puck stammered.
"Oh hell nah - " started Mercedes before she was cut off with the raising of Kurt's hand.
"Puck."
"Look, Princess, I swear whatever - "
"Shut. It." The jock's mouth clanked shut. "What in the hell were you thinking?" The young singer raised his other hand, drawing attention to whatever he was holding.
A beaming smile, the likes of which have never been seen on the bigger teen's face before, spread across his face. "Dude, ain't it awesome?!"
Kurt raised one questioning eyebrow, redness spreading across his face. "Why? Why would you put this on my locker?"
Puck's smile dimmed slightly. "Princess, what's wrong? Why are you so mad?"
"Because I wanna know what made you think it was such a good idea for you to put this on my locker for any and all to see."
"But I had to! That's my favorite picture of us! I thought you liked it too."
Now it was Kurt's turn to be confused. "You know I love it. I just don't understand why you put it there."
"'Cause it's our friend-aversary! Today marks 10 years of us being best buds."
Yup, that melted Kurt right up. His best friend, his oldest friend, wanted to commemorate the day they met all those years ago. Though he still had one question, "but why this picture Noah?"
Puck's smile brightened, "because we look freaking awesome?! That's my favorite of all the Halloween costumes we've worn. Me as Mario and you as Princess Peach."
Kurt blushed, "did you not think what the Neanderthals would do if they saw me in a dress? Any of them coulda seen this."
Puck looked crestfallen, "I'm sorry Princess. I was just so happy that I didn't think of that. Does that mean you're not gonna make that red velvet cake you were talking about?"
The pale teen sputtered, "of course I am! It's your favorite."
The jock slowly made his way so he was standing in front of his best friend. "You still mad at me?"
The smaller boy wrapped his arms around the bigger one's waist. "I'm not mad at you. Next time think before you do something like that, okay?"
"Okay." Puck pulled back and grabbed Kurt by the wrist, "come sit with me." Kurt giggled as he followed his friend to the back corner and was promptly dragged onto his lap. More giggles could be heard as Puck started whispering and waving his arms around as he talked.
The Glee kids were stumped. Artie spoke for them all when he said, "what the hell just happened?"
