Once their transport made it to shore, the trio of swordfighters slowly stepped onto the ground and made their way forward. But before they could make it far, Lucina stopped.

"Wait. What of Nana? Is it a good idea to just leave her behind like this?"

"I am not sure. But if we bring her, she will only slow us down once we engage the Belmont in battle. And if she were to awaken along the way, that would only further complicate matters. For now, I can only suggest we leave her for now. Once we have saved the Belmont, perhaps he can offer a suggestion on how to free her from her demonic state." Meta Knight stated.

Cloud nodded in agreement. Though Lucina wasn't the fondest of the idea, she left the still unconscious Nana behind and followed the others.

The trio slowly made their way forward, looking all around for whichever Belmont they would have to face.

"Be cautious. I know that the Belmonts have many tools at their disposal for combat. We three may be powerful, but at the end of the day, each one of us only has one weapon. A sword. We do not possess any long-range weapons like the Belmonts do." Meta Knight warned.

"Actually, I may have something that may help in that regard. In times of extreme desperation, I have been known to use what little talent in magic I have to fashion a bow of pure energy and fire off a small number of arrows." Lucina responded.

Cloud frowned at this new information. Why hasn't she mentioned or used it before?

The answer came to him immediately: "It wouldn't have been very practical to use before, since it probably requires her to stand still and plenty of concentration to fire. It'd leave her a sitting duck." Seeing Meta Knight's face, he could tell that he'd come to a similar conclusion.

"How adept are you at using that weapon? If you're going to leave yourself exposed to use it, we need to know if it'll be worth it." expressed Cloud.

"I am fairly proficient with a bow. However, it is an ability I try only to use in extreme situations. As I said, using it requires a decent amount of magic, which I am not proficient in." Lucina answered.

Before Cloud and Meta Knight could inquire further, they heard sounds of collateral damage in the distance.

The trio quickly rushed toward the sounds of destruction in the distance. Upon arriving, they saw a section of forest completely destroyed. Trees were knocked down and on fire, several rocks were smashed to pebbles, and there were several dead forest animals on the ground. But there was no sign of the Belmont they were looking for.

"This is quite a disturbing sight. Our enemy is nearby, and he has not been merciful to the surrounding area. But where exactly is he?" Meta Knight asked.

Before anyone was able to say anything else, Cloud heard the sound of a chain whip approaching. The blonde swordsman quickly turned around and swung his sword at the chain, keeping it from hitting him and his allies. The chain was then retracted as the others turned to look. The chain led into a shadowed area of the forest, where a dark figure was visible. The figure slowly stepped out into the light, revealing himself to be Simon Belmont.

A young boy with long white hair and a red cloak threw several knives at a target in a forest. He became elated upon seeing that one of them hit the center. "I hit it! Simon, did you see that?"

Simon and several other people around him smiled. "Of course I did."

The child ran over to Simon, hugging him. "You're the best grandchild a Belmont could ask for in both skill and in heart."

"You really think so? Hehe! Yay!"

Trevor quipped that little Juste still had nothing on his old man. Sypha stood at his side. "Trevor."

"What? I thought that would encourage him."

The child replied to Trevor that he may be small now, but was going to grow up to be big and strong one day and help a lot of people, just like every other Belmont before and since.

Maria Renard reminded him that he didn't need to wait to grow up to be strong. "Just look at what I can do!" She called forth two white doves from seemingly nowhere.

"Wow! I don't think I can do that, but Sypha says that I'm really good at elemental magic just like her! Isn't that right, grandpa?"

"Indeed." A carriage arrived, opening to reveal Samus, Luigi, and Pac-Man.

"Grandpa, who are they?"

"They are friends from Smash."

"It's nice to meet you all. I'm Simon's grandson, Juste."

Simon laughed joyfully as Leon Belmont and Sarah Trantoul, along with everyone else there, congratulated the child. Just then, a demon shaped just like Cloud emerged from the depths of the forest. It pulled out its giant sword. "Everyone, warn the village. I'll take care of this demon."

"Simon! Let me see you in action. I wanna help you."

"Go with the others, Juste. This is no ordinary demon-it is an elite warrior controlled by Dharkon himself. There's no telling what he could do to you."

"Aw. Can I at least watch?"

"You can watch. Just stay out of his range." Simon brandished his Vampire Killer at the demon. "Now where were we? Ah, yes. Stop right there, you criminal scum!"

His eyes were glowing red, and a scowl painted across his face as he ripped a log in two with his bare hands. He threw a Cross at them with zero hesitancy or mercy.

Cloud dodged the Cross by rolling to the side, and exclaimed: "Meta Knight! Any ideas on how to confront him? We need a plan of attack or we'll just be exposed to his long-ranged attacks!"

The Star Warrior stepped forward.

"I shall attempt to deal with his long-range weaponry. Cloud, you must get close and hit him with everything you have. Lucina, get close and attempt to distance him and hit him when you can." Meta Knight instructed.

Cloud and Lucina ran forward and did as instructed. Meta Knight, meanwhile, flew into the air and grabbed Simon's attention. The possessed vampire hunter threw another cross at the Star Warrior. But it was blocked by a swift swing from Galaxia. Cloud then approached Simon and swung the Buster Sword as hard as he could before Simon could react.

The Belmont dropped to the ground, angrier than ever. He charged toward all three of them with the Vampire Killer swinging.

The legendary chain whip made its way toward Cloud, but before it could hit, Lucina suddenly stood between the weapon and Cloud. A swift swing from Parallel Falchion knocked the chain away from Cloud. She then approached Simon and attacked him. She managed to swipe her sword at him once, making him stumble back.

Before Lucina could attack further, Simon retracted his whip. As Lucina swung her sword again, it was blocked by a swift swing of Vampire Killer. The pair traded several blows, sparks flying each time sword met whip. As he was watching this, Cloud remembered something Meta Knight had told him earlier.

'Never act as a mere spectator to a fight. You never know when one of the combatants may turn their weapon on you. Always be ready to engage an enemy.'

Cloud took this advice and ran toward Simon again. Lucina noticed this and started to back off so Cloud could make his move.

Simon threw down a vial of Holy Water at Cloud's feet to stop him in his tracks, then rolled back and threw an axe at Meta Knight and Lucina.

Cloud flinched at the projectile, hopping back to avoid it. However, when he saw that what was left was nothing more than a harmless puddle of water and glass, he proceeded to run over it towards Simon, much to the vampire hunter's shock.

After ducking under the Belmont's axe, Meta Knight took advantage of Simon's distraction and swiped his sword at the demon hunter multiple times. Simon attempted to retaliate with another swing of Vampire Killer, but Lucina, who had also dodged Simon's axe, once again intervened. She held up her sword, and the whip wrapped around the blade. Simon tried to free his weapon, but Lucina held firm. Cloud, who was now right next to Simon, performed a Cross Slash attack on the Belmont, knocking him back.

Simon flicked some dirt off his face and brandished his whip. They knew all of his moves and he couldn't land a single hit. Then, he heard a voice in his head.

"Grandpa, are you alright?"

"I wasn't expecting for there to be three of them."

"You can do it, Simon! I believe in you! You're the strongest Belmont of all!"

"Right. Hah. I am, and I will stop these foul demons of the night!"

Little Juste, or at least Galeem's fabrication of him, was right. He has to save that village. He must win. Simon clenched the Vampire Killer with all his might and charged straight toward them with a vicious fist in his other hand, and shouting a battle cry.

Simon again swung his Vampire Killer at Cloud, who held up his sword for defense. However, some quick maneuvering on Simon's part led to him angling the whip over Cloud's sword and smacking the blonde in the chest.

Lucina ran forward and swung her sword at the Belmont's head, but Simon simply ducked under the blade. He then proceeded to punch Lucina square in the face, sending her flying back.

Meta Knight flew in from behind, but Simon heard the gust of wind and kicked the knight's wrist as he tried to slash with Galaxia. The blow was powerful enough to knock Galaxia out of Meta Knight's hand and send him sliding into the ground next to Lucina.

"How's your hand?"

Meta Knight stood up. "If it weren't for these gauntlets, it would surely be broken. What has gotten into him?"

"The Belmonts have always had that certain drive to them. We should've prioritized taking him out more quickly."

Simon readied another vial of Holy Water to help finish them off; however, he made sure to keep one eye out for Cloud.

Recovering from the hit with Vampire Killer, he saw Simon preparing to attack. Without hesitating, he charged towards the vampire hunter.

Expecting this, Simon turned around and swung his chain whip, hoping to once again catch Cloud with it, seeing as he'd have no chance to dodge.

However, this was not to be, as Cloud pushed himself onto his backside used his momentum to slide forwards along the ground while the Vampire Killer swung harmlessly above him and stopped right in front of its owner.

Cloud kicked Simon in the legs, knocking the Belmont to the ground. As Cloud got back up, Simon turned on his back, looking at his other opponents as they prepared to attack.

Meta Knight, who had reclaimed Galaxia, was flying toward Simon at full speed. Simon swung the Vampire Killer at the Star Warrior's direction, but Lucina quickly intercepted, knocking the flail end of the whip away with Parallel Falchion, allowing Meta Knight to continue his path uninterrupted.

But before Meta Knight could strike, Simon quickly stood up and grabbed his cross and threw it at the masked warrior, hitting him in his face. While Meta Knight was stunned by the attack, Simon grabbed him by his still sore wrist and threw him right into Cloud, knocking them both to the ground. Simon then turned his attention to Lucina.

Lucina pointed her sword toward the Belmont, backing away slowly. "Simon, listen to..." he threw another axe at her. "I see you never were one to talk."

He winded up another vial of Holy Water. "Give me one good reason not to wipe you out of existence right here, night creature. Where are the rest of them?"

"'Night Creature'? What in Naga's name are you talking about?" Lucina asked.

Her only answer was another crack of the whip, which Lucina managed to block with her sword.

"Monsters sent by the Dark Lord to spread evil across the world, and it is my job to eliminate every single last one of them. Now where are they?"

"Simon, please. I am no servant to any Dark Lord. Nor are Cloud and Meta Knight. You must see that." Lucina pleaded.

The Belmont didn't respond. He only cracked his whip at her again. Lucina supposed it was foolish to try and reason with the brainwashed fighter before her. All she could do was try to knock him out and try to find a way to help him, just as she and the others had done with Nana.

Looking over Simon's shoulder, Lucina saw Cloud and Meta Knight return to their feet. She quickly tried running around Simon so she could regroup with them, all while blocking some of Simon's attacks. However, as Meta Knight had previously pointed out, while her reflexes were excellent, her overall speed was not. As a result, Simon managed to wrap the end of his whip around her ankle. A sharp tug of the whip's handle sent Lucina falling to the ground. Simon then began pulling Lucina toward him. The blue-haired princess was unable to get the whip off her leg, and Vampire Killer's magical nature meant that the chain could not be severed. Even by a weapon as powerful as Parallel Falchion.

He pulled her in and placed her into a chokehold. In doing so, he momentarily felt her very human pulse. Perhaps there was some grain of truth to what she said? Simon was forcibly pressured into dismissing the thought as he let go of her.

Cloud and Meta Knight had immediately ran to her defense. The instant the Belmont released Lucina was the instant Cloud struck Simon with his sword as hard as he could. Meta Knight went to Lucina's side in the meantime.

"Lucina. Are you alright?"

"Y-yes. I believe I will be fine. I merely need a moment to catch my breath." Lucina responded in between taking deep breaths and coughing after her ordeal.

As Simon recovered from Cloud's attack, he saw Meta Knight tending to Lucina and Cloud standing over her defensively, looking angry over how she had been hurt.

This made Simon once again think that there may have been truth to what he had been told before. It was unusual for average night creatures to actually care for each other and try to defend and help each other. Simon once again forced these thoughts down as he got up and prepared to attack again.

He threw another Cross at Meta Knight.

The Star Warrior saw this coming and effortlessly blocked the Cross with Galaxia. He then flew toward Simon and prepared to engage him up close and personal.

Simon cracked his whip to block each of Meta Knight's sword swings. But he was so engrossed in this that he did not see Cloud come in on his left and launch a Blade Beam at him.

Cloud was getting frustrated. "This guy's unflappable. We need a good way to convince him that we're on his side and that he's being controlled."

The Belmont landed on his back. As he struggled to get up, he saw that quiet village once more, and those that he loved and cared about.

"I cannot lose! I shall not bring shame upon the Belmont name and those who carry it!" He threw an axe with all his might in an effort to keep them away.

Cloud thought for a moment. "Belmont... Wasn't there another one back at the Mansion?"

"Richter! But how can knowing that they are related help us?" his mind began running a mile a minute, looking for a solution There has to be something that I can use! He then recalled a conversation he had with Richter some time back. Something about a guy named Shaft...

He gasped. "Simon! You've heard about how Richter unintentionally betrayed his companions and sided with the forces of darkness! Don't let the same happen to you!"

"Siding with the forces of darkness? You cannot be more wrong. I stand firm to my last breath for a world filled with light and life...a perfect world, one free of monsters like you!"

Cloud showed him the extent of the destruction he caused. "You call this life?"

He struggled against them, but ultimately prevailed. After this, he sought out Richter. "Richter, what was it like, being possessed?"

"Dude, you can't just ask people that. Chill out."

"I just had a moment there where I wasn't sure."

"What happened, grandfather?"

Looking around, Simon stammered. "I..."

Finally seeing a break in Simon's resolve, Cloud continued. "Richter felt like he'd forsaken the Belmont name after letting himself be manipulated by Shaft! Are you going to keep allowing the same to be done to you?"

"Gah!" Simon ran to the top of a nearby hill where he could see the sun, only it wasn't. "Richter, since when does the sun have rainbow wings?"

"What are you talking about?" Simon thought of another question. "Who do I serve?"

"Why Lord Galeem of course, I-I mean God!"

"Shut up!"

Hesitating, Simon tried to defend himself. "I would never..."

Cloud didn't let up. "Let yourself fall under such a spell? You already have, Simon. You just didn't know it." Pain colored Cloud's face and filled his voice. "I know from experience."

Simon was taken aback. "Tell me, now. What if I am possessed?" He moved in to grab Richter's hand, only to have it phase right through him. He later caught himself trying to use the Vampire Killer on Richter, Pac-Man, and Luigi.

The three of them gasped. "Simon!"

"Something is wrong with me. I must leave."

"So it is true. Samus, Cloud, Lucina, Juste, Richter...forgive me..." Simon made a sign of the Cross with his limb trembling the whole way through, then used a bottle of Holy Water on himself to exorcise the real enemy: the one within. Afterwhich, he fell unconscious.

Cloud checked on him. "He should be fine; needs some rest is all."

"Very good. Then we shall make camp here for the time being while we wait for him to awaken." Meta Knight stated. "Lucina, if you would, return to where we first made landfall and retrieve the Ice Climber. It would be best if we could keep an eye on both of them. Perhaps Simon will have an idea of how to help her when he is awake."

Lucina nodded and walked off in the direction they originally came from.

Once Cloud finally got to rest, he felt all his hunger and exhaustion wash over him. Without the immediate danger of a powerful enemy, he felt drained. He recalled with alarm that they hadn't eaten anything since Gerudo Town, after they'd liberated it from the perpetual blizzard.

Luckily, they had the foresight of buying a good deal of food from there. The blonde felt an irresistible urge to eat immediately, but he decided to wait until Lucina made her way back.

Lucina made her way back shortly thereafter, holding a still unconscious Nana in her arms.

"How long is she going to be unconscious? It's been forever since we were in the Gerudo desert." Cloud muttered.

Once Lucina set Nana down and sat, the three sword wielders passed the food among themselves and ate.

They were mostly silent during the meal, exchanging only a few short words between each other.

That was, until Cloud decided to speak up. He was looking thoughtfully at the unconscious Belmont.

"Do you think he'll be back to his old self when he wakes up?"

"He did seem to be genuinely regretful of his actions. And I don't think someone controlled by Galleem would attack themselves, nor apologize for his actions, especially I think to me. While on the topic, I noticed he said the name 'Juste', alongside 'Richter'. I wonder what their connection is," said Lucina.

"Probably another Belmont that we have not heard about," answered Meta Knight, "As far as I know, only Simon and Richter were chosen to come here."

A short time after the trio had finished their meal, Simon started to lean up, rubbing his head. "Cloud, Meta Knight, Lucina...what? How did I arrive here?" He noticed that they had confiscated all of his weapons aside from his whip, and after some contemplating, fell back over covering his face with his hands. "Augh, don't tell me all of that was real."

"I am afraid it was, my friend. I am so very sorry." Meta Knight said solemnly.

As Simon hung his head in shame, Lucina quickly tried to reassure him.

"At least you are free now. And perhaps you can help us strike back against the one who has done this to you. The one who has also imprisoned many others and forced the rest of us to scatter across the planet."

"You're right. Light or dark-Whomever it may be, they will soon be nothing but a stain upon our blades!" The unconscious Nana caught his eye. "Did that thing claim her too?"

Lucina confessed to Cloud. "Honestly, he reminds me of how Chrom describes Frederick with that gusto."

"Indeed, it did." Meta Knight answered Simon. "Though, in a manner much more severe than you. She had practically turned into a demon when we fought her. And unfortunately, she does not seem capable of breaking out of her brainwashed state on her own as you were."

"We were hoping that you might have an idea as to how she could be helped." Lucina added.

"Hm...What did this demon do while it was awake? Hold nothing back."

"She managed to summon the most horrid of blizzards in the middle of a desert, putting all of its inhabitants at risk. It was almost as if her natural abilities with ice and cold had been multiplied one hundredfold. Her usual wooden mallet had also been traded for one made of metal, and of a monstrous appearance." Lucina answered.

"Speaking of monstrous appearances, look at her appearance now. Her normal, innocent-looking facade is gone. Replaced with what you see before you. You cannot tell at the moment due to her unconscious nature, but her eyes were blood red, her screeches and yells horrid, and her teeth almost as sharp as our blades. Horrid claws also erupted from her mittens during the fight." Meta Knight continued.

"I have a plan. Do everything you can to make sure that she has absolutely no means of movement. Ropes, weights, maple syrup, et cetera. Place your own arms down on hers if you must."

"I'm sorry, what?" asked Meta Knight.

"What? It sticks to things. Okay, that last one might not be the best approach, but like I said, anything you can get to keep her down. The demon has to be awake for this to work." Simon retreated back into the deeper parts of the forest to retrieve some of the rubble from his wave of destruction his possessed body had created.

Using some rope that Lucina had bought back in Gerudo Town, the group tied her arms to some large trees in the forest. As an extra precaution, Lucina and Cloud stood on either side of Nana, just in case her arms broke free and had to be restrained by hand. Once Simon returned, they made ready to begin.

"How do we wake her? She has slept since we defeated her in the Gerudo Desert." Lucina asked.

"With any small amount of luck, the true Nana is still somewhere inside there. As such, she will hopefully be awoken by the same thing that would wake any small child: A loud noise coming from nearby. Lucina, draw your sword and place it next to the girl's ear." Meta Knight instructed.

Lucina did as she was asked as Meta Knight drew his own blade.

"On three, we shall clash our blades as hard as we can next to her. Are you ready?"

Lucina nodded.

"One. Two. Three."

*CLANG*

The loud clash of metal happening right next to her ear caused Nana's eyes to open. Before anyone was able to register this, a large burst of freezing cold wind surrounded Nana, knocking Meta Knight, Lucina, and Cloud off their feet. Only Simon managed to hold his ground. As the cold air began swirling around her, the demon Nana began screeching as loud as she could. She also bared her demonic claws and began cutting through the ropes holding her arms down.

"Almighty Father, forgive the sins of this afflicted soul, for she did them not on her own free will, but by that of a most wicked spirit. Give me constant faith and power so that armed with the power of Your holy strength, I can attack this cruel evil spirit in confidence and security. I exorcise you, Unclean Spirit, all of your kind! Every last one of you! In the name of Our Lord and Savior: Be uprooted and expelled from this creature of good!"

The screeching got louder as Simon was speaking. The wind got more intense as well. Despite this, Simon managed to stay on his feet and continue his exorcism. Shortly thereafter, Nana managed to cut one of the ropes binding her arms. She quickly freed to her other arm and stood on her feet. She tried charging towards Simon, but his words kept her from getting far. Eventually, she sank to her knees as Simon continued speaking.

"Go away, Seducer! You have no home here. Be humiliated and cast down. For even though you have deceived many, you cannot make a mockery of God... He has prepared Hell for you and your angels."

This last batch of words caused a demonic-looking force to start rising out of Nana. It had a blob-like shape, was black and purple in color, with a blood red outline. It seemed to be in pain listening to Simon's words. Once the Belmont stopped speaking, it faced him directly.

"You shall never defeat the great and terrible Dharkon!" The demon yelled.

It then lunged towards Simon, but the Belmont was ready. He threw a vial of Holy Water at the creature, causing it to catch fire.

For good measure, he also threw a Cross and axe, and gave its face a good smack with the Vampire Killer. Cloud soon realized he reached his Limit Break and launched a mid-air Mega Blade beam. If the fire didn't already seal the demon's fate, that did. It screamed horribly as it faded to oblivion.

Just after it faded from view though, the demon stopped screaming and managed to let out one last taunt.

"You might have freed this stupid little girl from the clutches of the mighty Dharkon. But you will never save everyone he has taken for his own. Nor will you ever defeat the Dark One himself."

With that, the demon finally faded. It was finally gone. For good. Nana, her true appearance finally restored, slowly sat up with a groan.

"What happened?" She weakly muttered.

The demon hunter scoffed with a threat of his own. "I will defeat your lord with my own two fists if I have to!"

"Nana!" Lucina exclaimed with delight, "You're finally awake!" She hugged her.

Meta Knight told the lone Ice Climber that she had somehow become separated from Popo and was possessed by a monster allied with an eldritch abomination known as Dharkon.

"Do you know anything about this 'Dharkon'?" Cloud asked.

Nana proceeded to explain how the day after many of the Smashers left for the floating island, those who stayed behind at the Smash Mansion were suddenly attacked by a large number of Crazy Hands. They were being commanded by a strange creature called Dharkon. Some managed to escape, Nana claimed. But others, like Nana herself, were captured. The Ice Climber explained that she let herself be captured so that Popo could escape.

"This is most unsettling." Meta Knight stated. "Not only is Galeem still out there, but now we have a new foe in the form of this 'Dharkon'. Defeating them both will be no easy feat."

"Do you recall what happened after you were captured?" Lucina asked.

"The Crazy Hands dragged us into this strange dimension of nothing but purple, black, and red. The only other thing there was this enormous octopus blob of darkness with a single yellow eyeball in the center. It stared at us, and it all just went down south from there until you guys found me." She started crying.

Simon empathized with Nana and gently gave her several pats on the back.

While Simon was patting Nana on the back, Lucina gave her a shoulder to cry on. Meta Knight and Cloud simply looked on in sympathy as the girl let her feelings out. Once Nana began to calm down, the five Smashers began plotting their next move.

"Perhaps we should pursue this Dharkon," Lucina suggested.

"We can't forget about Galeem, though. Maybe we should finish him off first." Said Cloud.

"Maybe we should look for the others. I don't think us alone could take either of them on." Nana added.

"Perhaps we can discuss our end goals later. For now, we must determine our immediate course of action. Simon, you have been in this area the longest. Even though you spent most of your time brainwashed, do you know if there is anything of note in our vicinity?" Meta Knight asked.

The topic was still a sore spot for Simon, who for a while responded only with an angry stare that sent shivers down the others' spines. "The thing is, you see, while I physically was here, I wasn't here in the mind. It was another forest, the layout may have been the same, but everything else around it was different."

He remembered his dream but decided to only tell them just enough so they would understand that he was trapped in a mindscape of his greatest desires, and his gut feeling that Richter and at least one other Fighter had escaped Galeem, making eight of them. Otherwise, in the end, he believed Galeem wouldn't have had them cast as enemies.

"So Juste is your grandson?" asked Lucina.

"Yes."

"I understand. It makes it all the more tragic Galeem would use your own family against you."

He sighed. "And that the very ones I was trying to destroy were you. Ahem! My last point, just to be clear Meta Knight, never say that again. Got it?"

"Very well. I apologize if I touched upon a sensitive subject. In any case, I shall survey the area." Meta Knight declared. The masked warrior turned his cape into a pair of bat wings and flew into the air. Once he was a fair distance in the air, he looked around. The forest seemed to go on for miles. It was unlikely they would find anything of note until they exited. Meta Knight was about to fly back down and suggest they turn around and ride the moving island back to another area of the world. But just then, he saw something strange in the distance. He flew back down to his comrades.

"Did you see anything?" Lucina asked.

"Yes. There is a strange clearing several miles in that direction. It appears barren. Devoid of any kind of grass or trees. Merely dark rocks. It was also surrounded by a number of dark clouds and black fog." The Knight answered.

"Maybe we should head there. It sounds like a place we might find someone else. Or an enemy that could lead us closer to Galeem or Dharkon." Cloud suggested.

"I am not sure. I cannot place my finger on it, but I believe I have seen such a place before, though I cannot remember where. In any case, it fills me with an uneasy feeling. Like it is a place we should avoid." Meta Knight said.

"We can't just run. We will get nowhere if we avoid anywhere that might provide a clue. I am certain that whatever is there, we can handle it."

The others nodded at Lucina's statement, causing Meta Knight to relent.

"Very well. But I still fear that we are walking into something we might not emerge from unscathed."

"She has a point. Anything like that is likely to be bad news. Come on!" proclaimed Simon.
