Rebecca and the Wolf Dog Hybrid

After receiving her father's crystal and spear, a young girl named Rebecca is taken to a different Alaska where she meets a wolf dog hybrid who is an outcast. She must help him get medicine for the children who are sick. Can she do that in order for her to get home?

2. Uh, New Friends?

I looked at myself and discovered that I am wearing a coat that is light blue and my sweat jacket is underneath it.

I don't know how I got here or where am I, but all I know is that I have to be sure that I have to get to safety. That's all there is. Then I saw a light coming from the sky.

Well I don't know what it is, but whatever it is, I hope it's good. I walked through the snow to find someone who would tell me where I am. So far I found nothing, but what I didn't know is that I was being followed by two creatures.

I hope that I can find someone to tell me where I am soon. Then I jumped when I heard a voice, saying, "You almost look like you are lost." I got my eyes wide when I realized what is talking. It was a strange dog that almost look like a wolf.

I then said with shock, "Talking dog." The goose then said, "Actually, he's a half dog and half wolf." I got my eyes wide in shocked even more when I saw a snow goose.

I said in shock, "Talking snow goose." The goose made a face as if he thinks that I'm foolish. Well I'm not. I just stood there. The wolf dog hybrid then asked, "Who are you?"

I stammered and said, "I-I'm Rebecca. Who are you two? How did I get here?" The wolf dog hybrid then said, "Wait, one question at a time Rebecca, I'm Balto, this is Boris the goose and you're in Nome Alaska." Oh so that's where I am.

Balto then had a good strong look at me. He then said, "You're different from the rest of the humans, I mean your eyes." I giggled and said, "What about your eyes? They almost look like wolf eyes." Balto laughed and said that I seem cool. He and Boris noticed the look on my face, I seem a bit sad.

Balto then said that he will help me and that got my eyes wide. What? He then said that we have to see the race first.

There's a race going on? While we were heading for the race, I asked him, "Um by any chance, you wouldn't happen to see any other wolf dog hybrids in Alaska, would you?"

Balto looked at me and answered, "So far I'm the only one." Well that does answer my question, sort of. I hope that the race would be worth it for Balto.
