Old Rivals:

Jackie and Kendall started to wake, finding they were no longer in the book store. Jackie glanced around, finding that her hands were bound, the shackles tight on her wrists and the chains attached to the floor. Kendall noticed the same thing as the two stayed close together. The room was dark, however they were able to see they were in a cage, a dim spot light as their only source of light. The floor was hard and cold, but they managed to stand, trying to figure a way out, if there was one.

"I see you girls are awake." A voice interrupted their thoughts. They looked at one another before glancing to where the voice came from.

"Who's….who's there?" Kendall questioned, the girls getting closer together. The lights suddenly turning on, blinding them. What they saw was they were surrounded by a horde of vampires. One came forward that they recognized instantly.

"Tristano…" Jackie whispered, as she finished looking around staring hard at the guy. Both girls noticing a few other familiar faces like the ones who attacked them.

"Have a nice rest?" He inquired. They glared.

"Where are we?" Kendall asked, her tone harsh. He walked into the cage.

"Why the hell did you bring us here?" Jackie added. "You'll regret this." She narrowed her eyes. He chuckled.

"Trust me, all part of the plan." He simply shrugged with his response as he walked around. The girls watched as he did so. Jackie was about to lunge but the shackles kept her in place and her wrists hurt from the restraints. She winced as they sent a small shock throughout her system. She let out a small squeak as she wasn't expecting it, going on one knee before narrowing her eyes further.

"Jackie…" Kendall looked at her concerned.

"I would have warned you not to do that." Tristano spoke, his demeanor calm, yet smug at the same time. The girls just looked at him with hard stares. He had a small laugh.

"Why are you doing this?" Kendall questioned again, helping Jackie up.

"Simple." He walked forward, taking out a small remote. "It's like I said, you're the bait, and it's all part of my plan." He reiterated.

"That still doesn't explain much." Jackie harshly retorted. He chuckled at her spunk.

"No….no I suppose not." He pressed a button, the cage coming down, as he tossed the remote to one of colleagues. Kendall glanced as the cage was coming down, keeping her guard up, as was Jackie. He noticed. "I wouldn't try anything if I were you two." He brought up, gaining both of their attentions. "Unless you want a repeat of your little…mishap." He pointed at their shackles. "Plus if you haven't noticed." He glanced around, "You two aren't in a really great position to do anything." He reminded. The girls remembering they were surrounded.

"So you have had us trapped this whole time." Kendall didn't really ease up, but she knew fighting was not an option. Jackie also letting out a sigh, as she relented to that fact. "Mind finally telling us why?" She repeated. "Or what part of this plan we play a part in." She was still harsh.

"Yeah, seeing as we have no idea who the hell you are." Jackie added.

"You two have quite a bit of feistiness, I'll give you that." Tristano was impressed.

"If you ask me, a bit too much." Kendall recognized that voice, as she glanced where it came from. Jackie doing the same.

"Now, now Kyros." Tristano told him. "I think these two are quite resourceful." He walked over to them. "Especially to handle all of this." He complimented, unhooking them from the floor but keeping them in their shackles. The girls had suspicious looks. "You two will behave, I'm sure." He had a smug demeanor.

"Is there a reason you're avoiding the topic about this plan of yours?" Jackie commented. "Or is it you just don't want to tell us."

"He doesn't have to tell you bit…" Someone else's voice started speak up, the girls not knowing who it was. But Tristano held up his hand.

"Valentino…." He interrupted, "Silence." His tone harsh. He looked back at the girls, going back to his smug expression. "You girls are quite gutsy." He chuckled again. "But telling you wouldn't hurt." He shrugged, walking away from them but staying within a close range of them.

"If I recall, you said you were watching us for a while, which is how you avoided our friends' abilities." Kendall remembered.

"Well yes and no." He replied. The girls having questioning looks with that. "I guess with my targets, seeing as I knew their abilities already it was a no brainer that I could get stuff or find ways to avoid their abilities." He explained. "However, their other friends, that became a new issue." He recounted.

"And just who exactly are your targets?" Jackie inquired. Tristano smirked with that question, which both girls didn't quite like.

"Not that they would tell you." He started to answer. "Although they haven't really told you much to be honest." He had a low small laugh. "But your boyfriends and I have a history." He responded. "An unfinished history that I plan to finish." He had a look that both girls didn't like, as he was circling them.

"You're…you're after them?" Kendall did not like the sound of this as her and Jackie glanced at one another.

"Yes." He simply replied. "We're rivals in a way, enemies in another." He continued. "But it's unfinished business that I plan to take care of with everything they have done." He recalled.

"And what all have they done?" Jackie wondered.

"And just how do we fit into this?" Kendall added.

"Don't worry…" He walked over to them. "For now you're just the bait." He told them. "And once they're here, is when my plan takes full effect." He stated.

"Just what the hell do you plan to do?" Jackie glared, about to lunge but Kendall kept her back knowing that the shackles could still shock them, since he gave the remote to his ally, he could still do so. Tristano chuckled at their actions.

"Like humans such as yourselves could do anything." He rolled his eyes. The girls only narrowed their eyes.

"You built up this army to fight them in an unfair fight cause you can't fight them." Kendall concluded. "You're nothing but a coward and weakling!" Kendall insulted. He got close to both of them.

"Watch it you two." Both of the girls gulped. "I might have an army, but that isn't all I have." He practically threatened. "Especially with what they took from me."

"Tristano!" They were interrupted.
