A new crew in training has gone down to investigate an unknown planet. They see no one at first. Then a woman dressed in an ancient Earth manner approaches one of the crew. She greets him in a thoughtful manner. She tells him that it would be a good idea if he left. Then she leaves. They have to leave the planet as strange things are happening. It is dangerous to stay.

People are flying around again, on the Enterprise, including the ship's CMO and second-in-command. People are bound to get hurt at some point.

Set pre-TFF; just a little fluff where McCoy visits Spock before they leave for Yosemite.

Spock/McCoy. After working together to care for infant, orphaned, Vulcan twins Spock and McCoy realize their may be more to their relationship than either of them previously thought. How will Bones deal with having a green blooded, accident prone lover? How will Spock deal with having an illogical, stubborn human as his counterpart? How will Jim deal with their... Meshing...?

Leonard makes plenty of mistakes but none so upsetting as this one. Intervention is necessary.

Later, Kirk, Spock, and McCoy work on saving Vulcan from an unusual threat. (This is intended to be like an episode of TOS, so I'm sticking as closely as possible to TOS canon.)
