Kirk had confessed his fancy for McCoy. The young doctor was alright with it, considering the man was drunk at the time of the confession, but for some odd reason, he couldn't stand the thought of not knowing exactly why Kirk had such a fancy for him. He was only a doctor and had no interest in other men, including the captain.

Kirk, Spock and Chekov are caught in a difficult ethical situation. Ethics, friendship, poor pre-First Contact society. "We stood by and saw your ancestors die, because they were too primitive? We stole whatever we thought profitable of your ideas and your arts, and gave them to our well-fed friends while their inventors starved?"

In 1969, after filming the last episode for Star Trek: The Original Series, William Shatner is beamed aboard the Enterprise.

Chekov's tribble wasn't always a member of the Enterprise crew and the much beloved pet of the navigator. But getting to become a part of the crew isn't hard wen you're small, cute and it'll only cost you your siblings being transported to a Klingon ship (you never could remember all those names anyway) and the death of several redshirts. (It's better than it sounds, I promise!)
