Without his portrayal of Spock, and her story development, we never would have had Sarek & Amanda.

On his first shore leave as the new captain, Kirk overindulges with the help of his friend and first officer, Mitchell, who abandons him in a seedy port bar. It is the science officer, Spock, who is missing his previous captain and is having second thoughts about joining the mission, who comes to his rescue. COMPLETE.

Nyota debugs. Spock plays lyre. For some reason, they both think this is a fun way to spend their evenings.

Spock contemplates the human before him. Surprisingly, he speaks.

'Mirror Mirror' follow-up, set immediately after 'Journey to Babel'. Wasn't completely sure about the rating, so I went with 'T' for the heck of it ...

A story about the intersection of friendship and intimacy. Starfleet posts an admiral to the ship and Kirk quickly reaches the end of his rope with the man's interference. A distress call, additional passengers including Spock's father, a major misunderstanding, and it will take all of Kirk's charm and conniving to get his life back to normal. COMPLETE.

This is a "missing scene" from the episode "Tomorrow Is Yesterday" (the one where the Enterprise goes back in time to the 20th century and an Air Force pilot investigates her as a UFO). In this little tale, Captain Christopher gives Dr. McCoy a new way to think about Vulcans. (This story is about the Spock-McCoy friendship, but there's no romance.)
