Kirk learns more about Spock's first few months at the Academy, about his treatment by the other cadets having an impact on his view of humans, how studying really became his solace and refuge, and how somebody understood. The crew or the Enterprise is on a mission to explore a planet under suspision by Star Fleet Command. Once there they realize that the planet is based on the time of The Revolutionary War. The Crew is Kidnapped and taken to a barn where they meet a Smuggler named Scarecrow. It may get more interesting. My best summary.

Uhura's friends - especially Christine Chapel - are desperately curious about what Spock is like in bed, but Spock is a very private person, so Uhura can't tell them anything ... or can she? No actual sex, but a number of implications. :-)
