A/N: Do not take this seriously. I've yet to see what will happen if an Archon can take down someone like Senator Armstrong.
The Plane of Euthymia is filled with blades clashing and the grunts of our two fighters as the Traveler and the Archon clash. Golden eyes meet with purple as their blades lock. Aether is pushed back by the Shogun with the end of her polearm, sending him a good few meters away.
"Impressive. You've survived longer than most." The Shogun notes, as she builds up electricity in her hands close to her chest. "But no matter, an enemy of eternity must be vanquished." She draws her infamous blade and points it at her adversary
Aether takes a stance, but instead of defense, he crosses his arms in confidence. "Try me."
"What are you doing?!" He hears Paimon. "You're going to get yourself killed!" Aether can only smile. He hasn't used this in a long time.
"Trust me." He says to Paimon, before staring down at the Shogun. "Don't keep me waiting, Raiden."
She gives a victorious laugh. "Then you will die a fool." She speeds towards him like a bullet and cuts him down. Nine slashes streak across his body, cutting through him. The Raiden Shogun smirks to herself as the Musou no Hitotachi is complete, removing this...exception out of the formula. She sheathes her sword and turns to see the body of the Traveler on the floor…
Only to see him still standing, with only tattered clothes and a grin. The Shogun widened her eyes in shock. "How is this person still alive?" She thought.
"I-Impossible! No one survives the Musou no Hitotachi.." She stutters. For once, her cold demeanor begins to break. Aether can only grin and taunt her with his hands. "Come on!"
Her shock turns to anger as she charges him again, using her polearm to slash through his body. Again and again. Her attacks, for some reason, have no effect on him. He can only stand there smugly, his eyes taunting her. After a few more strikes, he's decided he has had enough and grabs the polearm by the blade.
"Nice stick, Your Highness." He smiles before crushing the blade away from the staff, following it up with a sudden punch. The Shogun cries out in pain before she is sent flying and crashing to one of the pillars. She struggles to stand up as she sees her polearm, now a staff. She frowns at it before discarding it, drawing her sword once again.
She was angry, and confused, at this one outsider who wasn't even from this world, beat her so easily? Her weapon was a hard weapon to destroy and yet this Traveler shattered the blade like glass. This man needs to be stopped either way. She takes a stance and slices through Aether again with Musou no Hitotachi. And again, he survives. He pops his neck and gives a taunting smile
"Why won't you DIE?!" Ei roars, clearly livid at the impossible feats this person committed. It is here Aether reveals his secret. He tears his top off, much to the confusion and shock of both the Shogun and Paimon to show what is really going on.
Aside from his unnaturally muscular body, where his heart should be is replaced with a horrible scar, with swollen veins surrounding it and even reaching his shoulders. He stretches his right arm as some kind of metallic sea covers his arm, even reaching to his fingers. Aether clenches his fist.
"Nanomachines, son!" He explained. "They harden in response to physical trauma!"
He demonstrates his power by punching a pillar, shattering the entire lower region. He gives a sinister laugh as the pillar crashes behind him. "You can't hurt me, Shogun!"
She growls, as she tries to slice Aether's head off, only for the nanomachines to block her strike, making him turn his head. "What did I just say?" He says, before taking advantage of Ei's shock and grabbing her head, knocking her down to the ground. She grunted in pain, letting go of her sword, as her head was slowly getting crushed.
"H-he's strong..!" She thinks as she frees herself from his grasp by kicking his chin. He lets her go out of surprise as she lands on her feet, the Shogun grabbing her sword and taking a step back. This...this was something else. She held her head to battle the migraine she just received. However, her break didn't last long as she was suddenly shoulder-barged by Aether, bringing both of them to one of the torii in the Plane, the gateway crashing down.
Ei groans in pain, before suddenly yelping as Aether grabs her leg and throws her around. The nanite-powered Traveler spins the Archon like a doll, sending her through torii after torii before slamming her back to the ground. The Shogun is badly damaged, her clothes tattered and her body bruised from tanking so much. She coughs out blood, a rarity for her. She turns to see Aether approach her with a dreadful intent. No longer did she see a means to stop the Vision Decree in his eyes now, no…
He had the intent to kill.
He grabbed her throat, bringing her down to her knees again. Aether's smugness fades as he glares down the Shogun. Ei gagged, as she felt his strong grip against her neck.
"I didn't want to deal with Inazuma's bullshit, but you just made things harder for me." He squeezed, choking her. "Whaddya say we just end things here?" He asked, before bringing out his sword.
Before he could do anything, an electric blast distracted him from Ei. He turns to see Yae Miko, frowning.
"Traveler, that's enough." She warns. "What you're doing now is too much. We want the Vision Hunt Decree to be abolished, not slaughter the Shogun."
Aether gave a small frown, then he let go of her neck, making her drop to the floor. He puts his sword away. "So will you abolish it?" He looks at the Shogun on the floor.
Ei held in whatever curse she wanted to throw at him, but silently nodded. Aether simply gives a nod, before walking away. "I'm tired of this."
A/N: Kill me.
