The day after everyone returned to Wawanakwa, Chris gathered everyone to the beach for the next challenge. "Bass, Gophers," he began, "Today's challenge is a true summer camp experience: a canoe trip. You'll be paddling your canoes across the lake to Boney Island!"

"An island made out of bones?" Destiny wondered.

"Cool!" Luna exclaimed.

"Shh!" Topher told her. "Chris, continue."

"When you get there," Chris continued, "You must protege your canoes to the other side of the island, which is about a two-hour hike through treacherous, dense jungle."

"We gotta pour what?" Geoff asked, confused.

"Protege," Greg slowly told him. "Understand?" Geoff still had a confused look. "Dude, we walk with our canoes," Beardo told him.

"Oh," Geoff said.

"When you arrive at the other end of the island," Chris continued, "You will build a rescue fire judged by me. The first team to paddle home and return their canoes to the beach is the winner of invincibility. Move, campers, move!" Everyone began running for the canoes. "Oh, wait. One more thing I should mention." Everyone paused to hear what Chris had to say. "Legend has it that if you take anything off the island, you'll be cursed forever!" A crash of thunder made everyone look up at the clear sky. "Yeah, a cursed island!" Owen exclaimed.

"Hooray!" Luna exclaimed. "A cursed island made out of bones! What could be more FUN?!"

"A few trees short of a forest," Greg whispered to Destiny, making her giggle.

"Now," Chris announced, "Get into your canoes and let's have some fun!" Everyone walked off. Beth, fresh from the bathroom, ran up to Chris. "What'd I miss?" she asked him.

"Canoes," Chris pointed out. Beth ran to join her team.

Confessional: Cody (Screaming Gophers)

"Chris told us to pick a paddle partner. It was time for me to make my move. If I could just get Gwen alone for five minutes, I knew I could woo her with my manly charms. Plus, I need a break from Sierra. Once we came back here, she gave me a foot rub while I was still sleeping! I just need a little space. Is that too much to ask?"

End Confessional

Leshawna, Jasmine and Izzy; Scarlett, Max and Lightning; and Ella, Rodney and Helga had already partnered up. Trent motioned to Gwen to join him, making her smile. Cody then came up to her. "Come on, Gwen," he told her. "You and me, open water. What do you say?" Gwen bent him over.

"Trent," Lindsay told him as she and Beth grabbed his arms. "You have to come with us." Trent looked back as the girls dragged him away. "Fine," Gwen decided as she let go of Cody's neck. "But I'm in charge."

"That's the way I like it!" Cody replied.

Confessional: Cody (Screaming Gophers)

"Yes, yes, yes, it is so on!" He made a guitar noise.

Confessional: Gwen (Screaming Gophers)

"Cody? He's like an annoying brother. A really annoying, little brother."

Confessional: Cody (Screaming Gophers)

He kept making guitar noises.

Confessional: Gwen (Screaming Gophers)

"So much for hooking up with Trent."

End Confessionals

"Cody?" Sierra called out when she saw him walking next to an annoyed Gwen. Topher and Echo grabbed her hands. "Don't worry," Echo assured her. "Maybe you can go with him on the ride back."

"Yeah," Topher agreed. The two dragged Sierra away. Cameron hopped into a canoe. Zoey was about to join them. "Hey!" Samey called out to her. "Mind if I join you guys?"

"Um," Zoey began.

"Gee, Amy," Cameron put in, "That sounds like something Samey might say, i.e. not you."

"Right," Samey agreed before switching into Amy's voice. "I mean, with you? Ew. I'd rather wear those shorts."

"There we go. Come on, then."

Confessional: Samey (Screaming Gophers)

"I'm cool with Zoey and Cameron knowing I'm not Amy because we're pals. As for everyone else, I have to sound and look like my sister." She placed a berry on her cheek to mimic Amy's mole.

End Confessional

Izzy was trying to push a canoe forward but instead flipped into it and her life jacket. "Just follow my technique," she told Leshawna and Jasmine. "I'm 1/87 Cherokee, you know, which means, like, the tribe could, like, claim me at any time." Leshawna dragged the canoe forward. "Let's hope it's today," she muttered. Mike was walking towards the canoes when Leonard grabbed his hand. "Let us venture across this lake together!" he told him. Mike grabbed him by the neck. "Why should I listen to you?" he seethed.

"Because I doubt we have anyone left," Leonard choked out. Mike released his grip. "You make a point," he admitted. "But any funny stuff, and I'll send you overboard."

"Okay."

Confessional: Mike (Screaming Gophers)

"Leonard? Yeah, I'm not liking being in a canoe with him." He sighed. "So much for being with Zoey."

End Confessional

The Bass were getting their partners. Harold and Sam went wide-eyed when Duncan walked between the duo. Brick and Dawn went to a canoe when Scott and Jo joined them, to their displeasure. Bridgette had noticed Geoff waving at her. "Courtney," she suddenly spoke as Courtney stepped down. "Be my partner?"

"I'll join in, too!" Destiny decided as she skipped down. Geoff just had a look of disappointment on his face.

Confessional: Geoff (Killer Bass)

"Man, I thought Bridge and I were tight, but suddenly, I don't know, it's like she's fading on me. Nah! It's all good!"

End Confessional

"Hey, Geoff," DJ spoke up. "Need a partner?"

"Excellent!" Geoff replied.

"I'll join up, too!" Austin volunteered. Bridgette looked away when the boys walked by her. Heather walked down before Owen bumped into her, making her roll her eyes. Sky was on top of Dave's head as he and Anne-Maria walked down. "Wuss," Anne-Maria muttered.

"Luna, care to join me?" Alejandro offered to her. Luna just pulled him away to the canoes. "Guess that leaves the last one for us," Beardo reasoned as he, Shawn and Greg went to the last canoe. Shawn noticed Jasmine looking at him. He quickly pushed Beardo and Greg into the canoe and pushed it into the water. "Hey!" Greg complained. "What was that for?!"

"Uh, just excited for this," Shawn nervously replied. Meanwhile, DJ was poking his canoe with his foot. "Yo, man, the canoes flip over a lot?" he nervously asked Geoff.

"Nah," Geoff replied as he passed him a paddle. "You're thinking kayaks. Unless we hit some rough water."

"Water can get...rough?"

"Oh, yeah. Water can get totally radical out there."

Confessional: DJ (Killer Bass)

"When I was eight, my brothers dared me to jump off the high dive platform at the pool. I was scared, but I jumped. Wasn't gonna let them call me chicken. I landed on my butt. Sounds better than a belly flop, right. Wrong. My trunks went so far up my butt, I had to go to the hospital to get them removed. They invented a new word for what I did: the wedgie flop. I've been afraid of water ever since."

End Confessional

As DJ grabbed his life jacket, Owen ran over to the canoe and dropped Heather into it before pushing it towards the water. Cody was struggling to pull his canoe. "It's okay," he assured Gwen, who was sitting in the canoe. "I've got this." He still couldn't move it. "Do you want my help?" Gwen asked him.

"No, no." Cody pulled but ended up in the water.

Meanwhile, Mike was pushing his canoe towards the water. Leonard was seated inside of it. "This shall be a grand voyage!" he dramatically declared. "With all of our skills, we shall conquer the Island of Bones and reach a splendid victor-" Mike shoved the canoe harder, making him fall over. "Clam up!" he told him.

Geoff and Austin were pulling their canoe into the water as DJ nervously sat inside it. "Relax," Austin assured him. "We're gonna be fine."

"If this canoe's a-rocking," Owen teased as his canoe bobbed on the water, "Don't come a-knocking!" Heather hit him on the head with his paddle, making the boys wince. "Ow, that smarts!" Owen exclaimed.

Soon, everyone was lined up to start the race. "On your marks," Chris began as he readied a starting pistol, "Get set...paddle!" He shot it off, and everyone began to row. An eagle fell out of the sky and landed next to Chris. "That's gonna provoke some angry e-mails," he commented.

"So," Cody began to Gwen, "You wanna got out sometime?"

"No," she plainly replied.

"How about Friday night?"

"Uh, no."

"Saturday's good for me. How about Saturday?"

"I'm not going out with you," Gwen told Cody as she turned her head. "Ever."

"Okay. Fine, sheesh." As Gwen turned her head back, Cody thought for a moment. "So, is Sunday out of the question?" he asked. Gwen just twirled her paddle and hit him in the groin. "Got it," Cody squeaked out.

Confessional: Cody (Screaming Gophers)

"Okay, maybe she wan't quite ready for the Code-meister."

End Confessional

Cody fell over. Izzy, Leshawna and Jasmine rowed nearby. "And then these bushmen taught us how to catch and properly cook crocodile," Izzy went on, "As well as koala."

"Isn't killing a koala bear illegal?" Leshawna asked as Jasmine went wide-eyed.

"Oh, I don't know. Probably, yeah." Leshawna gave Jasmine a 'seriously?' look. In another canoe, Lindsay laid back onto Trent's lap. "You don't mind if I work on my tan, do you?" she asked him.

"Um, I don't mind," Trent answered. He noticed Mike glaring at him as he paddled ahead. "Leech," Mike muttered.

"You saw leeches in the water?" Leonard asked.

"Not what I meant," Mike answered, slightly annoyed. "Just paddle."

"Maybe I could help with my magic."

"No. Paddle. I'm not repeating myself again."

"I'm paddling, okay?" The two stayed silent for a moment. "Are you sure you don't any help from my magic?" Leonard spoke up. Mike took his paddle and bashed him on the head. "No magic," Leonard squeaked out. "Got it."

"Dude," Geoff asked DJ and Austin, "Can I ask you a something? I gave Bridgette gift this morning, but she's been sending me some weird vibes."

"Oh, my gosh," Bridgette told Courtney and Destiny, "It was so bad!" The scene flashed back to the morning before. "I come back from brushing my teeth," Bridgette explained, "And I noticed something bulging under my covers. When I lifted them, there it was!" She had pulled the covers off to reveal a heart-shaped portrait with a cut-out picture of her and Geoff. "No!" Courtney gasped.

"Yes," Bridgette told her.

"I made it in arts and crafts," Geoff explained to DJ and Austin.

"No, you didn't," DJ breathed out.

"I did."

"It gets worse," Bridgette told Courtney and Destiny. "Etched into the back was a inscription that said-"

"'I hope you think of me whenever you drop loose change into this'." DJ let out a breath as Austin shook his head. Bridgette made a gagging motion as Courtney face-palmed. "Loose change?" Destiny wondered. "At least it wasn't something like, uh, stinky cheese. Right?"

"Not good?" Geoff asked DJ and Austin.

"Dude," DJ told him, "That is so bad, you need a new word for how bad that is."

"A bull could do a better job at a gift," Austin put in.

"See, dating's like feeding a bunny," DJ explained "You want the bunny to come to you, so you don't make any sudden moves. Here, bunny, bunny, bunny. You drop a heart-shaped, handmade clay bowl on a bunny..."

"And bunny will dash off like scorpions in Death Valley," Austin finished.

"So I screwed up?" Geoff asked.

"You screwed up, dude," Austin replied.

"Hey," Shawn began to Beardo, "Do you know anything about dating?"

"Sorry," Beardo replied. "I have a hard time getting to speak to someone, let alone date someone. Not my area. But why do you ask?"

"Just wondering. Greg, what would you do if you saw a chick that you might be interested in?"

"Well," Greg began, "I would say hello, then see what her interests are, then develop a friendship with her."

"Great. But I-"

"Then fall in love with her looks, personality, and her love of music, especially rock songs. Then you decide not to say anything for fear of ruining the perfect friendship you've established and then hating your guts for the rest of your life." Shawn and Beardo looked at each other. "Uh, Greg?" Beardo finally spoke up.

"What?" Greg replied.

"Next time you give advice like that, try to leave your personal experience out."

"Oh." Greg widened his eyes. "T.M.I.?"

"T.M.I."

(cue commercial)

"I think I know why you keep shooting me down," Cody told Gwen. "It's because of Trent, isn't it?" Gwen's eyes widened at this. "Look," Cody continued, "I'm pretty tight with Trent, and I was definitely sensing an 'I'm into Gwen' vibe from him. I could put a good word for you, if you want."

"Wow," Gwen spoke up. "That's pretty cool of you."

"Yeah, well..."

"If you can get us in the same boat on the way home, I'll so owe you one."

"Interesting that you would say that. See, I'm in a bit of trouble myself."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I kind of bet Owen that if I got your bra, he'd do all my dishes for the rest of the competition." Gwen hit him in the groin with her paddle. "Right. Asking too much. Got it."

"Hey, Mike?" Leonard spoke up. "I think I know why you're so upset. It's because you're not with Zoey, isn't it?" Mike widened his eyes in surprise. He turned to face Leonard. "What are you talking about?" he asked.

"It's no secret that you have a crush on her," Leonard explained. "Maybe on the way back, I could arrange you two traveling together."

"I'm assuming you want something in return."

"Not really. And the only thing I need at the moment...no, I can't get it."

"Get what?"

"Well, I'm working on a potion, and I'm one ingredient short. Apparently, it calls for werewolf fur. But how am I going to retrieve fur from a smelly, vicious, stupid lupine?" Mike hit Leonard in the groin with his paddle. "What was that for?" Leonard squeaked out.

"Don't try to mess with things beyond your control," Mike warned as he glared back.

"Okay. I think." Leonard noticed fog rolling in. "Hey, was this fog here earlier?"

"No." Soon, everyone noticed the fog. Boney Island soon came into focus. "Aw, it isn't made of bones?" Luna moaned once the canoes hit the sand.

"Okay, did you see that skull just now?" Izzy asked once she hopped out of her canoe. "How cool is that? It's like this place is haunted or something."

"Let's just get this over with," Gwen told her as everyone began to carry their canoes. The teams raced through the woods, with the Gophers taking the lead. They saw skulls as they ran. Soon, a tree fell in their path. "I think I saw something," Cody whispered. A bunch of huge beavers with tusks came out of the bushes. "MONSTER...BEAVERS!" Cody exclaimed. Everyone ran away from them.

Confessional: Chris

"A remnant of the Pleistocene Era, the woolly beaver is a day-active rodent indigenous to Boney Island. Oh, and they're meat-eaters."

End Confessional

The Gophers ran from the beavers. A bear saw the sight and put on a pair of glasses. Soon, the Gophers were cornered into a water hole surrounded by nests. The beavers, surprisingly, turned around and left them. "Hey, they're leaving!" Cameron breathed out.

"Quiet," Mike warned in a whisper. "There's something off about those nests. No sudden noises."

"Did anyone bring a change of underwear?" Owen asked, making most of the Gophers laugh. "No, seriously." He farted, making most of the Gophers moan in disgust. Just then, a bunch of large birds with sharp teeth rose from the nests. "As much as I would like to say I told you so," Mike began, "But considering how many of these things there are, I think we should pick flight over fight." Soon, everyone ran away from the birds. "I'm definitely gonna need new underwear," Owen commented as he ran. The bear from earlier saw the scene, and decided to remove his glasses. "Someone do something!" Gwen told her teammates.

"Oh, wait!" Cody realized as he pulled out a loaf of bread from his pants. "Look!"

"Where did that come from?"

"I was gonna make us a romantic picnic."

"With bread from your pants?!"

"I know, right?" Sierra replied in a romantic tone.

"Just throw it already!" Trent told Cody. Cody tossed the bread behind him and the birds focused their attention on it. "It worked!" Zoey cheered.

"Enjoy, birds!" Ella told them. The Bass managed to pass the Gophers. "Come on," Izzy encouraged. "The race isn't over yet. We still have to burn stuff!"

Soon, the Bass came to a crossroad. "Which way are we gonna go?" Austin asked.

"Left," Courtney replied. "Definitely left."

"I don't know," Geoff admitted. "I think we should take the one on the right."

"The right trail is wider," Bridgette put in, making Geoff smile. "What are you looking at?" she asked him. They walked on the path on the right.

Confessional: Destiny (Killer Bass)

"I noticed the look Geoff gave Bridgette, an I am definitely feeling an 'I have an hippopotamus-sized crush on Bridgette' vibe. Yep, really seeing him saying, 'Hey, soul sister...' Truly wondly!"

End Confessional

The Gophers were running behind the Bass. "I can see the other team," Trent informed his teammates.

"They're taking the path on the right," Gwen noticed.

"Then let's go left." Soon, everyone was walking on the left path while carrying their canoes over their heads, though some people like Cameron struggled and people like Heather were letting their partner do all the heavy lifting. Soon, Trent found himself sinking. "Uh, guys?" he told his teammates. "Don't wanna panic here, but I'm shrinking!"

Confessional: Trent (Screaming Gophers)

"Right. How am I suppose to know what quicksand looks like? It looks just like sand!"

Confessional: Chris

"Can you believe they fell for that? I set it up, but I didn't think anyone would walk into it. That's just great!" He laughs.

End Confessionals

"Trent's stuck!" Lindsay exclaimed. "I'm coming, Trent!"

"No, don't!" Trent warned her but it was too late. Lindsay was also sinking in the quicksand. "I'm stuck, too!" she exclaimed. "I so didn't see that coming." Trent face-palmed. "Help!" he cried out. Cody grabbed a vine and swung over to where Trent was holding his hand out, but missed and slammed into a tree. The vine came back and Trent grabbed it and pulled himself and Lindsay out of the quicksand. "Thanks, bro," he told Cody as he stumbled back. "You're a lifesaver."

"I am?" Cody asked.

"You're a hero!" Sierra squealed as she pulled him into a tight hug. Lindsay tried to hug him but Sierra growled at her. "My Cody!" she told her. "Mine!"

"Where did you learn to do that?" Lindsay wondered

"I watch a lot of movies," Cody admitted.

"If you're done with the sweetness," Jasmine interrupted, "Recall that we've got a challenge to win!"

Confessional: Jasmine (Screaming Gophers)

"Not that I don't like the sweet moments, but winning this has to come first. There's a time and place for that, and this isn't the place, and it's certainly not the time."

End Confessional

"Just when things were looking up for the Bass..." Chris narrated. Geoff tripped. "Disaster struck," Chris finished. Geoff was holding his leg up. "My leg!" he cried out. "I'm down! Oh, it's so unfair! Why did this have to happen now? Why, why?!"

"Geoff!" Bridgette exclaimed as she and some of the others went over to him.

"You've got to go on without me."

"If you say so," Scott replied as he began to walk off. However, Brick held him back. "We are not leaving any man behind," he told him. "We'll think of something."

Confessional: Geoff (Killer Bass)

"I didn't know if I was gonna make it." He took a breath. "It was touch and go."

Confessional: Bridgette (Killer Bass)

"I've seen surfers get eaten by sharks before, but this...this was horrifying!"

Confessional: DJ (Killer Bass)

"The man just kept going! Dude's got heart."

Confessional: Destiny (Killer Bass)

"Between you and me, it was a pretty bad splinter that's impossible to remove with your hands! But no way am I ruining the Gigette moment. Not even if you bribed me with a new CD!"

End Confessionals

Harold and DJ carried the injured Geoff to the other end of the island, where the Gophers were already setting up their fire. Leshawna was busy using rocks to start a flame while Heather tried rubbing a stick in the stick pile. Heather was shocked to see that the Bass already had a small fire. "How did they do that so quickly?" she wondered.

"An advantage of having a pyromaniac on our team," Alejandro replied. He pointed to Luna, who held up a lighter and a bottle of kerosene. She doused the liquid onto the fire, and a small explosion was created, covering her in soot and burns. "No rule against carrying lighters," Chris informed them from up in his helicopter. "Edge, Killer Bass."

While the Gophers continued to collect wood, Beth noticed a small statue hidden behind a bush. She smiled as she picked it up. "What's that?" Echo suddenly asked her.

"I found it," Beth replied. "It looks pretty cool, right?"

"It does. But I remember Chris saying something about this place. Umm...what was it? I think it had something to do with luck."

"Is it bad luck? Maybe I should put it back."

"I remember! The first person that removes something off the island will be blessed with good luck for a short time."

"Really?"

"Yeah. But I don't think you should tell anyone about this, though. They might the good luck for themselves."

"Okay. I won't." As Beth walked off with and pocketed her statue, an ominous smile crept onto Echo's face.

Confessional: Echo (Screaming Gophers)

"Ha! How gullible can this girl get?"

End Confessional

Greg and Brick were collecting some wood when they heard singing. "What's that?" Brick wondered. They soon saw Destiny singing while collecting a few sticks. "Hey, soul sister," she sung, "Ain't that mister mister on the radio? Stereo, the way you move ain't fair, you know! Hey, soul sister, I don't want to miss a single thing you do...tonight."

"Butterflies," Greg mumbled before fainting, causing Destiny to notice the boys. "Hi, guys," she greeted to them. "Greggy, why did you pass out like that? I'm at least getting a few sticks as I sing. Speaking of sing, that song was the perfect theme for Gigette!"

"Gigette?" Brick asked, confused.

"Duh! It's only the most wondly summer camp romance hitting the Bass team! Maybe we should join the others before divulging more." Destiny dragged the passed-out Greg off as Brick followed her.

Confessional: Brick (Killer Bass)

"I'll admit, I was completely confused about what she said. And why did Greg pass out like that?"

End Confessional

Trent was sitting by a rock. "Thanks for saving my butt, man," he told Cody.

"Just looking out for a fellow Gopher," Cody replied as he pulled out a soda from his pants and opened it. "Want a sip?"

"Uh, no thanks."

"Trent, let's talk. Mano a mano."

"Okay, what do you want to talk about?"

"Gwen. See, I hit on her, but I struck out. A few times. Point is, she's not into me; she's into you." Trent got up closer to Cody. "If you're lying, I can easily rearrange your face," he threatened. "You know that, right?"

"Dude, buddy," Cody assured him, "What do I have to gain from lying to you?" Trent relaxed some. "Okay," he said. "So what do you think I should I do about it?"

"Well, I'll tell you, Trent," Cody told him. "Here's how I play it."

"Ladies, are you almost finished with your tea party?" Heather interrupted. "We're in the middle of a challenge here." Meanwhile, the Bass were putting more wood in their fire. Geoff was dragging himself across the sand and tossed a stick in the fire. "Bridgette, you've got first aid training, right?" DJ asked her. "Maybe you can check out Geoff's wounds. He might have ganegrene."

"Or jungle rot," Geoff pointed out.

"Or athlete's foot!" Bridgette walked over to Geoff. DJ winked to Geoff, who smiled as Bridgette looked at his leg. "Are you sure this fire's big enough?" Destiny wondered. "We should grab more fuel for this fire."

"You heard the woman," DJ told the rest of his team. "We need more wood, guys. Come on, let's go!" Unknown to the Bass, Scott had a smirk on his face.

Confessional: Scott (Killer Bass)

He was whittling a stick with his shark tooth. "This seemed like the perfect time to get my team to lose and make another sucker take the fall for it. If we can't return, we lose, right?"

End Confessional

"Maybe you should use that," Scott whispered to Harold as he pointed to the paddles. Harold rushed over, grabbed the paddles, and tossed them in the fire, to the shock of his team. "How are we suppose to get home now?" Bridgette scolded.

"We'll lose because Scott told him to toss the paddles in the flames!" Dawn accused.

"What?" Scott asked her. "Why are accusing me of this? I never told him to do that!"

"That's a lie," Greg suddenly put in as he and Destiny walked over. "I heard you say to Harold to use the paddles as kindling!" Scott gulped as everyone began to glare at him.

Confessional: Scott (Killer Bass)

"All part of the plan. Is it getting warm in here?"

End Confessional

"I'm sorry," Scott weakly told his teammates. "I-I was just trying to help. Maybe-" Destiny whacked him in the head with her guitar, making him fall over. "I usually don't condone violence," Dawn told her, "But thank you for that."

"No problem," Destiny replied. "Hey, has anyone seen Luna?" Luna had went over to where the Gophers were. Izzy was holding a ball of sap. "This ought to do the trick," she said. "It's a handmade fire-starter I made from some tree sap and sand. Stand back, guys. This is gonna be big." Everyone but Luna backed away from Izzy. "Let's see it!" Luna exclaimed with a giggle. "Burn it!" Izzy had a maniacal smile as she tossed the ball into the fire, causing a huge explosion. Chris had to back his helicopter away from it. "We have our fire-building winner!" he announced. "Point for the Gophers!"

"That..." Luna breathed out, her face covered in more soot and burns, "Was...AWESOME! I wanna try!"

"No!" her teammates screamed out.

"Where did you learn to do that?" Heather asked Izzy.

"Oh, you know," Izzy began, now covered in soot from the blast, "I spent a summer training with the reserves. Yeah, I got into some trouble there and, like, blew up the kitchen by accident, which is why the RCMP is, like, still all over my butt. I am so totally AWOL!"

"Cool!" Luna exclaimed.

"Not cool," Jo told her. "Crazy. Let's go, Luna the Lunatic." She dragged Luna by her cornrows. Meanwhile, everyone was heading back to their canoes. "Guys," Cody told Trent, Lindsay, Beth, Sierra and Gwen, "Since you're both a bit shaken by the whole quicksand thing, we should split you up. How about I go with Lindsay, Beth and...Sierra...and Gwen can paddle back with Trent."

"Yay!" Sierra squealed as she gave him a hug.

"Sounds cool," Trent agreed. Gwen gave Cody a smile as they went in the canoe. Mike was getting into his canoe when he saw Trent with Gwen, making him scowl. "Oh, basilisk fangs," Leonard said in a bland tone loud enough for Zoey, Cameron and Samey to hear. "I cannot enter my canoe. I bet someone placed a hex on it. Maybe I should try a different canoe."

"Maybe I can swap places," Zoey suggested. "If that's okay with you."

"Fine, but you'll be with him." Leonard pointed to Mike, who gave a nervous smile. Zoey just smiled back. "It's fine," she told Leonard. As she walked over to Mike, Leonard gave him a wink.

"What are we going to do without paddles?" Greg wondered.

"You guys can get someone to swim behind the boats and push them," Izzy answered as Leshawna and Jasmine continued to paddle. "I did that once for this huge , like, 60-foot yacht. The whole crew had to flutter-kick for, like, eight days to get to shore, and, like, four of us got eaten by sharks. I didn't. Not me, but it was really insane. Okay, later!" She fell over as Leshawna and Jasmine continued to paddle. "That might work," Geoff told his teammates.

"We need someone big enough to push all the canoes back," Bridgette informed them. "DJ, you're the only one who's strong enough." Both DJ and Geoff had shocked looks on their faces. "You can't ask him to do that!" Geoff argued, "The dude can't swim!"

"Geoff," Bridgette told him, "I know you're friends, but DJ's the only chance we've got!"

"Surfer Girl makes a point," Jo agreed. She held up one of Harold's arms. "Those skinny arms aren't going to cut it."

"I'll do it!" Geoff volunteered.

"You can't swim with that kind of injury!" Bridgette argued. "You're horribly disfigured!"

"Disfigured, my butt," Scott muttered. Destiny bashed him again with her guitar. "Once was probably enough," Dawn told her. "Right, Scott?" Scott only let out a mumble of pain.

"I can do this," DJ told his team. "I have to."

Confessional: DJ (Killer Bass)

"It was all up to me. I needed to swim like a Killer Bass should, and no wedgie flop is gonna stand in my way."

End Confessional

"That is one brave man," Geoff commented to his team. Soon, DJ was pushing the canoes and the rest of the Killer Bass across the lake. "Cheers for DJ the Courave!" Destiny rallied. "DJ the Courave!"

"DJ the Courave!" everyone else cheered. Soon, they passed the Gophers and crashed onto the beach of Wawanakwa. "The Bass are the winners!" Chris announced. The Bass cheered at this. "All thanks to DJ the Courave!" Destiny cheered.

"DJ the Courave!" everyone else cheered as they carried DJ.

"What's courave?" Brick whispered to Greg.

"Courageous plus brave," Greg whispered back. "But it has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?" The Gophers soon came to shore. "You cost us the game!" Jasmine scolded to Izzy. "You are dead!"

"Right," Izzy replied. "Okay, you are so lucky that my license to kill is currently expired." Jasmine and Leshawna each grabbed a paddle, making Izzy run off with a worried look as they chased her.

That night, the Gophers were at the campfire ceremony. Cody, Sierra, Cameron, Samey, Leshawna, Topher, Lindsay, Helga, Rodney, Lightning and Owen were in the back row while Scarlett, Trent, Gwen, Zoey, Mike, Ella, Heather, Max, Echo, Izzy, Beth, Leonard and Jasmine were in the front row. "And now," Chris began, "The always anxiety-inducing marshmallow ceremony. When I call your name, come and get a marshmallow. Beth." Beth hopped up and down as she collected the first marshmallow. "Cameron...Scarlett... Trent...Gwen..." The two smiled as they collected their marshmallows. "Leonard...Rodney...Lightning..."

"Sha-yeah!" Lightning exclaimed as he grabbed a marshmallow.

"Cody..." Chris continued, "Sierra...Jasmine...Zoey...Owen...Heather...Ella..."

"Hooray!" Ella cheered as she got a marshmallow.

"Topher...Mike...Leshawna...Amy..." Samey stifled a scowl as she got a marshmallow. "Helga..." After Helga got her marshmallow, Rodney gave her a tight hug. "Off of me!" she told him. "Or I turn into blini!" Rodney quickly let go of her. "Lindsay..." Chris continued. "Max."

"EVIL still reigns here!" Max exclaimed as he collected the second-last marshmallow. Only one marshmallow was left on the plate. "One last marshmallow," Chris told Echo and Izzy. Echo looked worried while Izzy had a confident look. "The person who doesn't get this marshmallow will walk off the Dock of Shame and take a ride on the Boat of Losers. Who's it gonna be?" He was interrupted by the sound of a helicopter flying overhead. "Izzy!" a voice shouted as a beam of light shined down on the Gophers. "We know you're down there! You are under arrest!"

"You mean all that trash you were talking was true?" Leshawna asked Izzy.

"No," Izzy replied. "Just the RCMP part. See ya." She stood up. "YOU'LL NEVER GET ME ALIVE!" she screamed as the light landed on her. She laughed as she ran off as the helicopter chased her, to everyone's shock. "Well," Chris finally spoke up, "That wraps that up. Night, everyone." Back at the Gophers' cabin, Cody noticed something under his sheets. He pulled it out to reveal a black bra. "Nice!" he exclaimed.

"Is that..." Owen began, "A bra?"

"You know it. And you know what that means. Enjoy dish duty, my good man."

"Which chick did you snag that baby from?" Lightning asked.

"Don't tell me it belongs to-" Owen began as he held the bra up, which Cody took back. "A gentleman never kisses and tells," Cody replied. At the dock, Gwen and Trent were sitting together and smiling.

Meanwhile, Leonard was entering the cabin when he noticed a note and a small bag on his pillow. "What's this?" he wondered as he picked up the note. It read Dear Leonard, I figured since you did something for me, I'd help you out, too. Just don't ask where it came from. Leonard looked at the contents of the bag. Inside it was some dark hair labeled 'Werewolf Fur'. "Perfect," he exclaimed.

"What's that?" Cameron asked him as he walked into the cabin.

"I'm afraid it does not concern you," Leonard answered as he held the bag and the note tightly. "Plus, I don't wanna say."

"That's okay. Hey, have you seen Zoey recently?" Outside, Zoey was on a rock and drawing some hearts in the sand when she heard a howl. She turned to see a large wolf in the distance howling at the full moon. "Wolfie," she said with a smile. At the Bass cabin, Bridgette dropped the gift Geoff made for her. "Have any glue?" she asked Courtney.

"I wouldn't waste my time fixing that," Courtney replied. Bridgette scooped up the pieces. "Maybe I would," she said.

"Hey, Beardo," Brick asked him as they walked back to the cabins, "Mind if I ask something?"

"Go ahead," Beardo replied.

"Well, it's about Greg. See, we were collecting wood earlier, and when he saw Destiny singing, he just fainted! Any idea why?"

"I'm no expert, but that might be why." Beardo pointed to Destiny playing her guitar outside while Greg romantically watched her. "Oh!" Brick realized. "I get it!"

Over by the cave, Echo was playing with her dolls. She held up one that looked like Beth. "'Thanks for telling me about the statue'," she mocked in Beth's voice. "'I won't tell anyone else about its luck'." Echo gave a laugh as she opened the spell book. "With this stone, create more chaos than a two-headed duck," she chanted, "Until she leaves, curse the rest of the Gophers with bad luck." The book glowed red for a moment. She closed it up. "This will end her soon enough," she darkly said. As she laughed, thunder rolled outside.

Ooh, how ominous it's become! Okay, the elimination first. I'll just say it here: I am not certain if Izzy will return, because I hadn't thought that far ahead just yet. But my plan is that if, and I do mean if, I might have to plan some double eliminations, as well. And this applies to any person returning back here. I'm just giving fair warning here, is all. This could change, it might not, but only time will tell.

I also gave some other people some focus here. I've got a few reviews saying to shuffle the focus some (Not the exact words, but you get the general idea.) and I tried to do my best. It mainly stayed close to canon, with some fresh swirls to it.

And the curse of Boney Island is now on the Gophers! How long will it last? You'll have to wait and see.

The next challenge will be the paintball deer challenge. Until next time, this is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and have a good day.
