Chapter three – Three Sirens go north above the wall

Daisy is wearing a suit of Jacob's armour while working with the other two suits of armour that Jacob gave them to help restore some of their technology. For the last week, they have been following the burnt-out power conduits trying to locate a reactor that isn't damaged beyond repair. When the AI in her armour says;

"The subroutine I created to determine if the broadcast energy is compatible with the specific energy required to power your technology has completed its analysis. Unfortunately like the energy matrix of this combat unit is not compatible with your dormant technology. The likelihood of creating a power adapter similar to the one built for this combat unit has a five percent likelihood of success. If this unit knew more about the reactors that generate the specific energy to power your technology. It would be possible to create a working one using parts salvaged from non-functional reactors."

Daisy replies;

"I would like to give you that information, but the only person who could answer those questions died eight years ago. Any information that could help is stored in the central or secondary data banks. We need to find a working reactor or backup power source to turn on the research hub and download that information and hope that the power source lasts long enough to do that."

The AI says;

"Query, why has it taken so long for you to begin your search for a working reactor or backup power source."

Daisy states;

"Until Jacob gave us you and your siblings, we couldn't search the power grid because of the lethal levels of radiation. Your suits have excellent protection from radiation, and I can stay in them for years. What have the scans of the non-function reactors so far revealed to you."

The AI pauses then answers;

"They are very complex and do not conform to any known design in my database. So far, I have seen the exact same damage in each of the reactors we have encountered at this time. It is precise damage."

Daisy replies;

"Mattes was the only person who survived that knew anything about them. He once told me that the damage was caused when Marcus Jones tried to open a portal to take him back to Terra 29. Instead of opening a portal to his homeworld. He created an unstable quantum singularity. That overloaded the power grid and destroyed the reactors. When they dissipated the singularity, it released nine different types of lethal radiation. That killed most of the population in seconds. Most of us only survived because we were not Valeria when it happened. The ones here in Valeria that did survive it were in the lower levels of the city. We had to wait forty years for the radiation to dissipate before we could return. The older children who have gone through puberty were born in the outside world; the rest of them were born here."

The AI states;

"It was fortunate that the artificial bio-organic life forms that produce your food and medications survived."

Daisy sadly says;

The ones that were alive when the fall happened didn't survive. It took nine years for the ones we planted to be old enough to produce food and medicine. The children survived, most of the adults didn't. Including my late husband. We didn't know how to forage; all the food we could find was given to the children first."

Unit three interrupts them when it says;

"Power source with energy signature consistent with Valarian technology has been detected behind this wall in a chamber that is not on the maps of this system."

Daisy walks over to the wall and examines it, and says;

"There shouldn't be anything here."

Her AI states;

"My scans of the wall indicate that the chamber was created three hundred years before the fall of Valeria."

Daisy quickly says;

"That was a dark time in our history. A group of fanatics rose to power and claimed that the world was about to end, then tried to make it happen. There may be a sleeper pod behind it. We should leave it alone."

Her AI says;

"Location marked, and surveillance drones are being placed to monitor the chamber."

Elaina, Amyelia and Eeina are sitting in Tormund's camp, looking at the pile of gold-filled rocks that Tormund and his people have picked up off the ground. Eeina whispers to Elaina in Triplet speak;

"Tormund now crosses off the wealthy part."

Elaina looks at her, and in triplet speak, says;

"He may be wealthy, but do you see a castle here or servants to keep the castle clean?"

Amyelia in Triplet speak counters with;

"These half losers have enough gold to build a castle for each of them, which they haven't and don't have plans to. Their fashion sense is horrible; the way they cut those furs is a crime against fashion."

One of the Elders says;

"It is considered rude for a guest to speak a language no one here speaks in front of their hosts. You three are very beautiful but lack common consideration for others. The food we have isn't much, but it is fresh, and it would be rude for you not to eat any of it."

As the sisters hesitantly eat the most vial food they have ever seen, smelt and tasted, the Elder in twin speak says to their twin sitting next to them says;

"I told you that we could get these morons to eat the jerky made from a bear's asshole, pay up."

As the sisters try not to throw up while eating the food, Eeina whispers to Elaina;

"I told you not to remove Bernice's data input. I keep trying to turn on my holo and make it look like I'm eating and enjoying what could only be made from some forest animals' asshole."

Elaina whispers back;

"If Bernice would keep her data input shut, she would still have it."

Amyelia whispers;

"Bertie convinced our AI's that it would be in our best interest if we could only use the holos in a life-or-death situation. Eating this crap is not a life-or-death situation."

The Elder asks;

"How is the food? It's a rare deliciously that we never have enough to share, but you are very welcomed guests to our home."

The Elder Twin holds up a wineskin and says;

"You should have something to wash it down. This is a very popular beverage amongst our single people."

Without hesitation, Elaina grabs the wineskin and drinks half of it before realizing that it is the nasty, foul-smelling beverage Tormund is constantly drinking, tries not to throw up and says;

"I can see why this outstanding beverage is popular among your single people."

Eeina smells the tasty beverage and asks;

"Do you have any water? I'm trying to limit the number of carbs I eat every day."

The twin Elder answers;

"We do; it's in the river three miles that way. If you're not picky, you can melt some of the snow lying on the ground. I wouldn't advise drinking the yellow or red snow."

Then Tormund arrives back and drops a dead deer at Elaina's feet and says;

"So, do you like my gift?"

Elaina looks at it and says;

"I'd like it more if it was alive. Who gives someone a dead animal as a gift? Gold, jewellery, a summer castle that matches the winter castle those are adequate gifts, not a dead animal."

Tormund pulls out several large gold nuggets and drops them at Elaina's feet, and says;

"You wanted Gold as a gift; here is some gold."

Elaina rolls her eyes and says;

"What am I supposed to do with that? I'd have to pay a blacksmith to smelt it into something of value."

Then absently drinks more of the nasty smelling beverage from the wineskin and says;

"This is going to take longer than Moonshine to get used to it. Although it does have a pleasant minty aftertaste."

Tormund says;

"That minty aftertaste is from the fermented beaver anus that is added to it as part of the final mix."

Elaina says;

"I have no idea what you just said, but it would be rude of me not to drink this wonderful local beverage."

Eeina looks at Amyelia, who says;

"I told you that we should always have an emergency bottle of Moonshine available for when Elaina needs an alcohol fix."

Eeina counters with;

"Why would we carry an emergency bottle of Moonshine when she still has three cases of Moonshine, a case of Blacksmith Hammer Vodka and two bottles of Summer Breeze gin inside her armour?"

As Elaina gets drunker and a little flirtatious with Tormund, she hallucinates a devil with Jacob's face standing behind Tormund, looking at her with disappointment and fearfully saying;

"The devil has come for me, and it looks just like Jacob!"

Amyelia says;

"That's not the devil, it is Jacob, and he's found us."

When Elaina realizes that it is actually Jacob, she punches Tormund with everything she has in the face, again breaking his nose and knocking him backwards and drunkenly states;

"You may have lots of gold, but your still not a highborn, so leave me the fuck alone."

Jacob looks at Amyelia and Eeina and says;

"Eeina, get in the back seat of the Glider; Amyelia, get in the Glider's cargo compartment. Elaina, you're going to get an amazing view when I tie you to the Glider's underbelly. Before we get back to Winterfell, you are going to throw up. I suggest that you not be wearing your helmet when that happens."

Amyelia states;

"That thing has a cargo compartment. What's a cargo compartment, and why do I have to get into it?"

Jacob states;

"A cargo compartment is a place I put things that I can't carry in the cockpit, and it has to do with balancing the weight, so we don't crash into things as you did on your way here."

As Tormund and the Elders watch Jacob with Elaina tied to the belly of the Glider float up and away, Tormund says;

"Mom, I told you that she likes me; why else would she punch me in the face a second time."

His father says;

"I doubt she loves you; she was drunk, and her replacement father caught her drinking that LSD and alcoholic concoction you love so much."

His mother says;

"Now that the fucking wall is coming down, we can finally go south and claim the lands your highborn ancestors were driven from. Especially now that the squatters are all dead."

His father says;

"What's the point? We have everything we need here. Now that the Night's King is dead, we have all this land to ourselves."

His mother counters;

"I'm getting too old to be living in a tent and shitting in the snow. We have a castle that has an indoor toilet to move into."

Tormund turns around and asks;

"Since when are we highborn?"

His father says;

"Almost a thousand years ago, our ancestors had a little dispute with the king of Westeros, and they had to hide out here. We may not have lived there in almost a thousand years, but no king ever stripped us of our titles and land. Congratulation's son, you're a duke and filthy rich. I have documented and verified proof of our claim."

His mother says;

"I was slumming then. I drunkenly married your father. Why do you think my family never visits. They're not dead, just ashamed."

Tormund looks at them and says;

"Now I know your screwing with me and still trying to get me to stop drinking the greatest beverage the world has and will ever know."

As he heads to his tent, his father says;

"One of these days, he'll drink himself into a coma long enough for us to drag him to our winter castle. I'd build a summer castle here but were standing on billions of pounds of gold."

The mother says;

"The golds on the other side of the river. We're standing on top of Titanium worth just as much as gold. Good thing that fucking Sky Knight didn't know about the Titanium. He screwed us with the gold deal, and I'm not letting him screw us on the Titanium."

The father says;

"He's gonna need it to build his railroad, whatever that is, and we are gonna screw him on the price he'll have to pay for it."

Greyworm is looking at Maestre Luwin and says;

"You're waiting for a reply from Darrios in Volantis has made us miss the tides."

Maestre Luwin states;

"My Lord, we have to wait for confirmation that we are needed in Volantis."

Greyworm asks;

"Maestre Luwin, why are you convinced that we shouldn't go to Volantis and give aid to Darío in ending slavery in the rest of Volantis?"

Maestre Luwin calmy states;

"Because you are meant to be fighting with Darrio, the Last Khal, Tyrion Lannister, Rugel Sipcone and Altus Stebbins in Dorne against the last great slave master. It was supposed to be five years from now, but something changed, and everything suddenly moved forward. Which for your sister and cousin is a bit of a problem."

Greyworm looks at him with disappointment and says;

"Please stop telling me that those two children are my family. Why would this be a problem for them?"

Maestre Luwin thinks about what he should say when Bran says to him;

"Tell him the truth; I doubt he will believe you right now. But when he wakes a great dragon, everything will make sense."

Maestre Luwin says;

"Because it is your destiny to wake the great dragons, the ones all Dragons must answer to. You, your sister and your cousin will ride them with an army of Dragon riders into battle against the last great slave master. Your sister and cousin are destined to ride the other two great dragons; right now, they are both too young and small to ride them. My Lord, I have a question for you, in all the years you stood beside Queen Daenyrse, did you ever feel terrified for your life around her dragons?"

Greyworm thinks then says;

"I was never afraid to be around them, and I always felt calm and peaceful when I was around them. But I am Unsullied and Unsullied fear nothing."

Maestre Luwin responds with;

"My Lord, you should ask your men who stood next to you when the dragons were present. We both know that they are incapable of lying to you."

The Captain of the Ironborn ship headed north to report to Yara is going at full speed and being chased by two faster ships. The Captain says;

"Don't know who those fuckers are, but we can't outrun them. But we can take them out with our scorpions. Load the scorpions and prepare to turn and send them to the bottom of the sea."

Halven is suddenly woken when the ship suddenly changes course as he stands to go above a scorpion bolt impacts with the hull just below the deck above him. Then he hears the ship's scorpions open fire. When he hears the hull's sound impacting another hull, he painfully pulls his sword and waits for a boarding party to rush below decks. When that doesn't happen, he painfully and cautiously goes above deck. When he comes above deck, he sees one of the two ships chasing them on fire and the other tied to the side of the ship. Dead bodies litter the deck of the attacking ship, and a crewman startles him when he says;

"If Ironborn had crewed those ships, we would all be dead. Sailors from Volantis shouldn't crew warships."

Halven asks;

"What are you going to do with that ship?"

The crewman smiles and says;

"That ship is faster than ours and a warship. We're taking it with us back to the Iron Isles as a prize. We just have to get a few answers with what is left of the crew before we send them to the Drowned God."

Halven asks;

"What is it that you need to ask them?"

The first officer says;

"How they found us for one, and who built their ship."

The Captain comes back on board and asks Halven;

"That device you need to take to Prince Jacob, can I see it?"

Halven takes the satchel off him and pulls it out. When he does, the Captain pulls out an identical device and a second device with what looks like a map with a blinking green dot in it and says;

"Whatever these things are, it's what they were using to track us. We're close to Dragon Stone; you can get off there and take these things with you. Pray to whatever gods you worship and hope they are listening."

Then Halven watches the Ironborn crew as they execute the surviving sailors and then throw the bodies off the captured ship.

Halven says;

"There's a scorpion bolt's tip in the lower deck."

The Captain says;

"I know, and this ship has survived worse; we'll drop you at Dragon Stone, patch it up and take our prize back to the Iron Isles. And hopefully, go back south and to war."

Red Eye has lost the other ship with him in the weeks since they found the massive fleet and began to harass them. Now his ship is heavily damaged, and he has waited for a dark night before turning his ship back towards the massive fleet; for a ship slowly sinking, it is still moving extremely fast. It runs past the warships, narrowly missing scorpions' bolts and rams the largest ship in their fleet. As his ship sinks, he leads what is left of the two ship's crews onto the massive ship, killing everyone in their path. As they move across the main deck, his men drop maltov cocktails into the lower decks before taking the bridge and turning the massive ship into the ones next to them. As the ship they are on begins to burn out of control, Red Eye screams, "What is Drowned cannot die!" Then he leads what is left of his men onto one of the ships they just rammed and begins killing the sailors in a full-on psychotic rage.

Drew is pissing in the back of the cave when he hears scratching behind the wall and says to Megan shitting next to him;

"Fucking Cindy was right; they've tunnelled their way into the back of the cave."

Megan angrily shoots back;

"Those assholes picked the wrong time to get here. This is the first good shit I've had in days."

While Megan is finishing up, Drew looks at various weapons that have been placed in the back of the cave and picks up two daggers and shouts to Cindy;

"You were right; those fuckers have tunnelled their way into the back of the cave."

Cindy casually walks over, picks up two small war hammers and says;

"These should work just fine."

Megan pulls up her pants and runs over, picking up a bow and some arrows. She walks back over to where she left her shit and rubs the tips of the arrows in it. She walks back to where Drew and Cindy are standing and says;

"They disturbed me having the best shit I've had in days. I'm going to make those fuckers regret it."

The three stand calmly when the wall explodes, which doesn't phase them then the attackers rush in. Megan kills everyone who steps through the opening with arrows; when she has run out, Drew and Cindy step forward and start killing the soldiers tripping over the dead bodies with lethal skill. When crossbow bolts begin to fly, Megan catches every one of them before they can hit Drew or Cindy, then throws them back, killing everyone it hits.

Stebbins is standing watch at the entrance to the caves when he hears fighting coming from the back. He is so distracted by it that he almost misses the sound of someone firing a crossbow. He barely moves out of the way of a crossbow bolt and turns around to see men attacking the cave entrance. As he calls the men guarding the entrance to stand and fight, Tannis and the other Archers start killing the soldiers attacking them.

The sisters are annoyingly polishing the new silver wear Sansa had made, and Eeina states;

"Sansa, sorry, Queen Sansa had to invent a crazy new dance that is really hard to learn, and now she's making us eat with these things. What's wrong with a single Tyne and a sharp knife?"

Amyelia counters with;

"I like these new eating things; I'm not dropping any more food on my clothes and ruining them."

Elaina turns to the men guarding them and says;

"Bruce, Larry, could you two lurk somewhere else? It's really hard to work with you two watching us."

Eldon, one of the guards, says;

"Neither of us is named Bruce or Larry. You three will always have an escort from now on, including when you go to the toilet or bathe."

James, the other guard, says;

"Queen Sansa hired some women guards to escort you to the toilet and when you bathe."

Eldon continues;

"None of this would be necessary if you didn't keep doing stupid things like stealing Prince Jacob's floating thing, go north, get drunk and punch a Free folk clan leader in the face and break his nose for the second time."

James continues with;

"As the Queen has clearly stated that you three need extreme adult supervision."

Eeina quickly points the blame at Elaina when she says;

"We had nothing to do with any of that. It was Elaina who drove the floating thing north to get drunk with smelly Tormund Giant pussy and punched him in the face when Jacob caught up to us."

Amyelia adds;

"She punched that loser just like she did when Mom found them in drunk in a dark hallway at Sansa, Queen Sansa wedding feast, except this time she stopped at one punch in the loser who may be our future brother-in-law's face, he smells like crap but is insanely rich."

Eeina looks at Elaina and says;

"Elaina, we think that you may have a drinking problem."

Elaina angrily says;

"I don't have a drinking problem; I drink, go to sleep, wake up sometimes with a headache, and the light hurts my eyes. Like normal, so there's no problem."

Amyelia states;

"People who have drinking problems often put on weight, and you've definitely put on weight. Your clothes are getting a little too tight. If you didn't have a shitty fashion sense, I wouldn't have noticed."

Elaina counters with;

"I've always been the same size. You two losers altered my clothes while I was sleeping and made them too small."

Eeina shoots back;

"When did we have time to do that? We only get to sleep after you drink yourself unconscious. You won't let us sleep otherwise."

As they continue to childishly argue about fashion and Elaina's clothes being altered while she sleeps, the Matron enters the room, looks at the guards, and Eldon says;

"We have been tasked with escorting them and keeping them from doing stupid things, not interfering in that."

James continues;

"They have a history of using this tactic to get people to walk away from them. Nowhere in our orders does it say give them adult supervision."

The Matron looks at the sisters childishly arguing and blows a loud whistle. When they stop and stare at her, the Matron says;

"Amyelia, there are two guards that will escort you to the stables where you will properly clean the stalls, not throw more straw over the horse shit and piss. Elaina, two guards will escort you to the toilets in the common area, where you will properly clean them this time. Eeina, I am to escort you to the new hospital in town where you will be cleaning bedpans and bathing people who can't bathe themselves."

After the sisters have left the room, Eldon says to James;

"Those three keep forgetting how quickly the Queen can make and alter clothes."

James replies;

"If Elaina didn't keep getting drunk and pass out in the Queens bed, her clothes would properly fit her. She definitely has a drinking problem."

The Matron is standing in front of the sisters and angrily says;

"Together, the three of you are a disaster waiting to happen; when separated, you make that disaster happen. If your mother weren't pregnant, she would be standing here, not me."

Amyelia looks at her and asks;

"When did that happen? Her loser boyfriend left to go get killed in Dorne months ago."

Eeina says;

"I didn't know that mom was dating anyone; let's face it, she can do way better than that old loser Stebbins."

Elaina says;

"This is the first time I'm hearing any of this; maybe I do have a drinking problem."

The Matron with reserved anger, says;

"Your mother had a crossbow wedding three days after Queen Sansa had her wedding."

Amyelia sarcastically states;

"You mean Queen Sansa's crossbow wedding; she was obviously ten months pregnant when the Arch Maestre married them. You can't get any more credible witnesses than him and a room full of losers watching."

Eeina looks at her and says;

"Unless you're some sort of animal like an elephant, children take nine months to grow and then force their way out of our lady parts. Sansa was definitely showing when Jacob had a crossbow to his back."

Elaina asks;

"Are you sure that it was that loser Stebbins that knocked my mom up? He's kinda old, and I'm pretty sure the only company he's had in decades is his right hand and a bucket of lard."

Amyelia asks;

"Why would mom being knocked-up keep her here from angrily glaring at us? Let's face it, you're a sadist bitch, but you suck at angrily glaring at people."

The Matron says;

"Firstly, I am not a sadist bitch as you three morons keep calling me. Second, the stress of having to deal with you three is not healthy for what I've been told will be your little brother."

Eeina cracks her knuckles and happily says;

"I call dibs on tormenting our little brother. You two, my older siblings, have been tormenting me for years. Which makes me an expert on tormenting younger siblings."

Amyelia states;

"Eeina, you came out first, then Elaina, all nine pounds 7 ounces and pulling me in her wake. You're the oldest, and I'm the youngest, definitely the most fashionable and attractive of all of us."

Elaina sees the Matron and guards still standing there and says;

"It was good while it lasted. They haven't walked away from us in annoyance as they have in the past."

Eeina states;

"Elaina, how would you say something like that? You need to stop day drinking. And for the record, I am extremely fashionable and the most attractive and desirable of all three of us."

Amyelia says;

"Knock it off, Eeina, the not so much losers have seen through our act."

Eeina says;

"What nonsense are you talking about? What I'm discussing with you two losers is important!"

Elaina says;

"Eeina, you've been spending too much time talking to the squirrels that give you magic mushrooms to eat."

Eeina states;

"Maggie and Henry are my friends, and you need to dry magic mushrooms for them to have any real effect. (She looks at the Matron and guards who are not amused) Or so Bart keeps telling me."

Stebbins and the people at the entrance have barely been able to keep the soldiers attacking them from getting past the defences; he first hears people fighting behind the attacking soldiers then sees's the Valley siblings covered in blood, tearing through the attackers. When the remaining attackers see them, they quickly retreat. While Drew and Cindy are watching the soldiers fleeing debating about running after them, Megan says;

"I guess you didn't break those Trebuchet's good enough; they've put them back together."

Drew and Cindy turn around and look at the Trebuchets, and Drew says;

"Mr. General Stebbins, you should get as far back from the entrance as possible; they have launched a wildfire bomb at us."

Then a wildfire bomb lands in front of the entrance engulfing the Valley siblings. When it clears, all three are standing right where they were completely naked, and Drew says;

"Damn it! Those were my last clean clothes."

Megan looks at Stebbins and says;

"I guess we forgot to tell you that, unlike our clothes, we are fireproof."

Cindy looks at him and says;

"When you're a dragon rider like us, you have to be; fire dragons can be unpredictable. If they could burn you to a crisp, then who would ride them and keep them from going feral burning things, people and animals because they are hungry or pissed off."

Drew looks at them and says;

"Daisy and the other Elders told us that we aren't supposed to talk about the firepower part of peace, love and firepower."

Before anyone can speak, another wildfire bomb is dropped on them. When the fire clears, the three siblings are walking towards the Trebuchet's and Megan shouts to Stebbins;

"You should send someone to collapse the tunnel the assholes dug in the back. We're going to deal with the Trebuchet that you didn't properly destroy. There's only so much of being set on fire that anyone can take without going insane."

Halven has taken refuge at Dragons Stone and has sent a raven to Jacob about the devices, where he is and is waiting for a reply or show up. As he painfully sits at a desk in the rooms, Davos put him in. Gendry knocks and walks in. As he tries to stand up, Gendry says;

"This isn't one of those damn formal things; you don't have to stand when I enter a room. And your still badly injured."

Halven painfully sits down and says;

"Milord, I'm still alive, so I expect to recover fully."

Gendry asks;

"What the hell happened? I was told that Dorne was in a civil war that shouldn't have taken long to resolve."

Halven states;

"When we arrived Queen Tyene's hand Lord Sipcone had ended it and was getting everything back to normal. Then a twenty-thousand plus Slave fighter army landed on the shores of Dorne along with as many sellswords."

Gendry sits down and angrily says;

"Fuck me. This couldn't have come at a worse time; our army barely survived the last three wars. I don't think we will be able to stop them."

Halven

"Lord Sipcone asked me to find out if you know where Queen Tyene and her family might be?"

Gendry states;

"They are in Kings Landing, as far as I know, still trying to get King Bran to send military support, her mother mostly. She keeps getting caught fucking Lord Bronn of High Garden in empty rooms in the Red Keep, mostly. I was told that someone found them fucking on King Bran's throne."

Halven asks;

"I sent a raven to Winterfell to Prince Jacob; do you know if he received it?"

Gendry says;

"As far as I know, it reached Winterfell. Why do you need to speak with him?"

Halven points to his satchel and says;

"MiLord, if you will hand me my satchel, I will show you; it's better than trying to explain it."

Gendry picks up the satchel and looks inside, and says;

"What the fuck are these things? One of them has a blinking green light?"

Halven says;

"When I was travelling through the seven kingdoms and beyond with Prince Jacob, we did some really bizarre things, start or prevent barfights, delay or help people, hunt fugitives and bandits. Some of which, instead of turning over and collecting the bounty, we took them to somewhere else and let them go. All Prince Jacob or Grand Maestre Hawkings would say that they were in the wrong place, and we had to get them to where they were supposed to be. Strange things like that. When we weren't doing that, we made and sold Moonshine or went looking for things like those and destroyed them. Prince Jacob would tell us that this world wasn't ready for them, and in the hands of idiots, they could do a great deal of damage. When we were fighting the slave fighters and sellswords, we couldn't figure out how they communicated. Then we got lucky and captured a man who had one of those devices. General Stebbins and I quickly realized that it is something that needs to be destroyed. When a voice rang out of it, we realized that they were using these things to communicate. I was already badly wounded, so General Stebbins put me on an Ironborn ship headed north. Two extremely fast warships tracked us down; unfortunately, they had no clue how ruthless Ironborn could be. The ships were faster and better armed; they didn't stand a chance against the Ironborn. They sunk one of the warships and captured the other. When they found the second device and the one with the blinking green light, they dropped me here, fixed their ship and went North dragging their prize with them."

Gendry says;

"Sir Davos and I saw that prize; he's never seen a warship that deadly before."

Gendry thinks then says;

"If someone sent two warships to get those things back, they will probably send more after you. I don't have enough soldiers here to fight them."

Halven says;

"Prince Jacob and Grand Maestre Hawking taught us how to hide these things we have to make what they called a faraday cage. I don't know exactly how it works, but it keeps people like Prince Jacob and his equipment from finding those things."

Gendry asks;

"What do you need to make one?"

Halven says;

"Get me to a forge, and I'll teach you."

Gendry smiles and says;

"You came to the right place; I had the rooms next to my chambers turned into a forge, I started life as a blacksmith, and I don't sleep well if I'm not close to one. It's right down the hall."

Daisy in her armour along with two and three approaches a derelict building, and the AI says;

"From what information I have found and speaking with the elders, I have determined with a 95% certainty that one or more of these buildings will contain the parts required to repair one of your reactors."

Daisy looks around and says;

"We shouldn't stay here very long; this area becomes dangerous after dark. Stonemen aren't the problem. This part of the valley is controlled by the only valley clan that doesn't live by our Mantra of Peace, love and firepower. Their Mantra is "Kill everyone that isn't one of us." They only come out after sunset. They survived the radiation, but it changed them. They are extremely photosensitive. And have fully functioning disruptor rifles enough for every one of them."

The AI's begin to do a passive scan of the area, and hers states;

"I am detecting energy signatures consistent with multiple disruptor rifles. The building behind us has the parts that we will need to repair a reactor. We will have to come back at a better time to collect them with a plan to do so efficiently. Some of the energy signatures are moving towards us."

Then all three units jump into the air and fly away to safety.

As they fly away to safety, Daisy says;

"If we can get a reactor fully functioning, we can turn back on the null field that renders energy weapons unusable. This part of the valley made energy weapons, and every so often, some of them fell off a truck and into a criminal's hands. So, our ancestors created a null field that made those weapons completely useless."

The AI states;

"You will have to tell me about this null field. If we are unable to get the entire field fully functioning, I may be able to create a weapon or portable self-powering field emitter as a deterrent."

Daisy replies;

"You're in luck there; Margret's area of specialty was energy fields, both defensive and offensive."

Arya has finally found a village that doesn't greet them by throwing Javelins, spears or shooting arrows at them. She and several of the crew have gotten out of the boat while Nicodemus tries to hide in it. When the delegation from the village one of the man asks;

"Is there something wrong with the Dire Wolf?"

Arya responds;

"He's waiting for the Javelins or other weapons to be thrown at us. How do you know he's a Dire Wolf and speak the common tongue?"

The man points in the direction of Westeros and says;

"Westeros is that way and three weeks away even if you get bad wind. Every couple of years, we go to Old Town to sell some of the books we keep finding to the Citadel."

The ship Captain asks;

"It took us four months on the sea to get here and another three to find a village where people don't want to kill us."

The leader C'Tinra says;

"Those villages are peaceful; they stick to the old ways. They throw a Javelin into the ground in front of you. If you throw it back, it means that you want to fight; if you pulled it out of the ground, dropped it and didn't break it. It means that you want to trade. If you break it, it means that you want to stay."

Arya says;

"They must get into plenty of fights. Until you told us we had no idea."

C'Tinra states;

"Why do you think we stopped welcoming visitors that way. What are you using to navigate?

The Captain replies;

"The stars and the sun's position just like everyone else."

The entire group become dumbfounded, and C'Tinra asks;

"Have you ever heard of a compass?"

Arya asks;

"What's a compass?"

C'Tinra smiles and says;

"It's a device that will keep you from getting lost. We have several and will give you one, but you will have to trade for a naval timepiece."

The Captain asks;

"What is that, and why would we need it?"

C'Tinra says;

"We have a great deal to teach you about navigating the open sea, with what you told us you spent four months sailing around in circles."

C'Tinra turns to the villagers behind them and says in their native tongue;

"By now, these courageous people have been drinking their urine; bring them some water and food."

Jacob is talking to the person who will be running the gold mining operation in the Freeland's;

"I have your list of items you need to get to work. There are a few conditions. Right now, we don't need to hard rock mine gold. But since we will be strip-mining the gold, when we're got all the gold out, we have to put the land back the way it was."

The Mine-boss says;

"Your Grace, I once worked with the Lannisters when they tried to strip mine. It was a disaster. For some reason, their mining engineers were convinced that the gold was under the fields that fed them when they recklessly started tearing up the ground. I quit; after they were done tearing up farmland, they didn't put anything back. The farmers starved and left for the reach, which had fertile land that no one was farming. All land is sacred, which is why I hired a Maestre of Botany and ten persons who are studying it. They want to build something called a greenhouse."

Jacob smiles and says;

"I'm already building some; my biggest problem is making proper-sized glass that isn't filled with bubbles. Also, no using mercury to separate the gold."

The Mine-Boss replies;

"Your grace, using mercury to separate the gold, poisons the land and kills the workers. I can get at least ten years of service out of a properly trained miner. Less than two if I use mercury."

Jacob thinks and says;

"We should have everything you need to set up your camp, be very respectful of the Clans Elders and never drink a foul-smelling beverage; it has LCD in it along with fermented beaver anus."

The Mine-Boss says;

"Your Grace, I cannot control what the men will or will not drink. Using that explanation to keep the men buying Blacksmith Hammer Vodka is a feeble excuse and something pleading of desperation."

Jacob replies;

"None of your men will have to pay for Moonshine and Blacksmith Hammer Vodka. I've arranged for a daily and monthly ration of it; I hope that they will be fine with the rations being given out after working hours and the monthly ration before they have days off."

Then Jacob sees Sansa reading the message from Halven and says;

"If there is anything that you need that isn't in the wagons, go and speak with the Matron or one of the stores' masters. I have something to take care of."

Stebbins is talking to a very dirty, very tired scout;

"Are you sure about this, a massive fleet with more Slave fighters?"

The man replies;

"Sir, I did and lost most of my men getting back here to tell you."

Stebbins says;

"I would tell you to get some rest, but we just ran out of time. We can't stay here anymore; we have to get these civilians north and to safety. You and the remaining scouts are going to help find a clear path."

Jacob is with Sansa and their daughter and says;

"I don't want to go, but with what is happening in Dorne, I need to look at those captured devices."

Sansa picks up baby Catlin and says;

"What's happening in Dorne will eventually travel North. I've summoned the Lords to speak to them about this. We haven't recovered from the last wars, with the possibility of the sun setting and not rising for years. It will end us. A letter came for you from Grand Maestre Hawkings; it must have got lost in the mail."

Jacob picks up the letter and opens it; as he reads it, Sansa says;

"He didn't let you destroy all of your weapons with what is happening. I am very grateful that he didn't."

Jacob puts the letter down and says;

"I'll need the pistol back and ammo back."

Sansa says;

"Go did up your weapons; I'll go retrieve the pistol and ammo."

After Sansa has put Catlin in her crib, Bart climbs off the bed and sits next to Catlin, looking more like a guard dog than a Dire Wolf.

As Jacob digs up the chest with the weapons, Hawkings buried in the shaft leading to the control room. He has a slight pain in his head and remembers helping Hawkings bury it, followed by Hawkings mindwiping him. When he pulls the large metal chest out of the ground and opens the slight pain in his head comes back, and he remembers all the times Hawkings kept rifle/pistol ammunition and disruptor grenades and the mindwiping that followed. He looks up and says to the sky;

"I hope you had a perfect reason to do this to me; if not, when I see you next, I'm going to put my foot through your ass right up to your brain."

When he opens the large metal box, he pulls the material keeping everything dry and see's two rifles, one pistol. Two dozen disruptor grenades, twenty-thirty round magazines, rifle magazines, twenty-two pistol magazines, and ammo is filling the rest of the box. As he closes it and begins to carry it, Sansa says;

"It's a good thing that I know how to use a pistol and rifle. Bertie should be there soon to take what you can't carry with you to Dragonstone."

Then he sees Bertie's holo persona and says;

"Don't let any of these things get out of your sight; Catlin has Bart to protect her."

Then he puts the metal box, removes a rifle ten magazines, then taps them to his armour where they stay and does the same with the pistol magazines. When the event happens, he feels something different this time, and when it is over, he is carrying two rifles. The pistol and the magazines are all on the ground. When his systems update, he says;

"Add notation to data concerning the removal of weapons. The effect has been temporary. Placing previous weapons on the armour of GenSol Jacob Dublois has resulted in a reset. The weapons have returned during the event. End notation."

His AI states;

"I discussed the probability of this happening with Grand Maestre Hawkings James, and he convinced me that if it did, it was because user GenSol Dublois Jacob will require them."

Jacob takes off his rucksack, fills it with ammo. He drops the rifle he pulled from the metal crate along with the pistol and magazines and says to Bertie;

"Whoever these additional weapons are for, make sure that they know how to use them properly."

Berties asks;

"Are you not going to take disruptor grenades with you?"

Jacob replies;

"No, That is the exact number needed to take down the wall in one big bang."

He then jumps over the wall in the direction of where he parked the Glider.

Tyrion is sitting in the war tent looking with interest at six heavily tattooed Dothraki. One of them Shogo says;

"You've never seen one of us before. Dothraki have their braids; we have our tattoos. Each one tells a story of a challenge that we won."

Tyrion says;

"I hope six of you will be enough for what we are going to do."

Shogo laughs and says;

"There are over six thousand of us. The last Khal has to ask for their help face to face, which will be a great challenge for him. What he had to say was interesting, still not enough. He's lucky none of us have ever been to Dorne and with what is going on. It should be fun."

The man next to him says;

"I always wanted to see where the wine comes from. It would be very disappointing if someone torched them before I got there."

Then three equally tattooed battle scared heavily armed Dothraki women enter the tent, and Shogo says;

"Women are welcome in our caste. Most of our mothers were one."

One of the women takes a good look a Tyrion and says;

"So you are the imp; I expected you to be smaller."

Jacob circles above looking at Dragonstone under siege from two ships and see's a third a troop transport ship and says;

"I wish I could have taken Sansa for a flight in you."

Jacob says to his AI;

"Prepare for high G manoeuvre."

His AI responds;

"High G protocols engaged."

Jacob says to his AI;

"Access Gliders anti-grav units and engage their self-destruct protocols on my mark."

Jacob opens and tears off the canopy, points the tip of the Glider directly above the troopship and says. "High G manoeuvre about to commence. Disengage all anti-gravity fields."

Gravity takes over, and Jacob keeps the Glider in a kamikaze attack headed straight for the troopship just before it is about to hit the ship's main deck. Jacob says;

"Mark"

Then jumps out of the cockpit.

Davos, Gendrey and Halven are overlooking two warships laying siege to Dragonstone when they see the troopship headed to the shore. Halven says;

"We didn't get the devices into the faraday cage in time."

Then they see Jacob's Glider making a kamikaze attack run on the troopship. Just before it hits, they see Jacob jump out, followed by an explosion of sound and light. When it clears, what is left of the troopship is on fire. Then they hear weapons fire and see Jacob on the deck of one ship, effortlessly killing the men on the deck. Then they watch Jacob jump backwards and fire his rifle. Then the wildfire bomb in the catapult's basket explodes. Then they lose sight of Jacob only to see him on the side of the other ship tearing a hole in the hull with his bare hands. Davos fearfully asks;

"What is that thing?"

Halven smiles and says;

"That is Prince Jacob, husband of Queen Sansa Stark of the Northlands, and warden of the North, the first Genosl."

Davos cuts him off and says;

"I've heard that long title before, and right now, I don't have the patience to sit for three minutes and hear the rest of it."

Then they watch Jacob rush out from below decks and run towards them and jump towards them. Then the ship he just jumped off explodes. As he floats towards them, Halven says;

"If you are around him long enough, watching him float won't bother you. What bothers me is the lethality he just displayed; I've never seen him do anything like that."

Jacob lands next to them, his visor clears, and he says;

"That was just a distraction; the real assault is less than two hours ride from here. By land. Where are the devices?"

As Davos and Gendry prepare for the impending attack, Halven leads Jacob into the castle where the devices are. Jacob looks at the faraday cage Halven and Gendry built and says;

"You did a perfect job making the cage, but you should have taken them away from here before putting them in it."

Halven can feel some energy emit from Jacob's armour before he opens the cage and pulls out a communication device. Then watches Jacobs scanners run over the device. Jacob pulls the other out and does the same. Jacob looks at the device with the blinking green light reaching his hand into the cage and crushing the device. Then puts the devices back in the cage closes the door.

Halven asks;

"What are those things?"

Jacob responds;

"Simple explanation or mine?"

Halven answers;

"Your explanations usually make no sense."

Jacob says;

"The device I destroyed was a tracking device that someone with an identical device could have seen us. The other two allow two people hundreds of miles away to talk to each other like they are in the same room."

Halven replies;

"Most of that makes sense, and you still have a long way to go. Why didn't you destroy the other things?"

Jacob smiles and says;

"Right now, I need them; the person in my armour has used their keys to access their castle and help us to find a way to tear it down."

Jacob has joined Davos and Gendry on the land side of the castle only to see thousands of Slave fighter soldiers marching towards them, and Jacob says;

"The ships took a lot of effort to take down, those guys you would need more than just me. When my systems have fully recharged in two hours, I'll go down there and gather information on them. In the meantime, would you like to see some pictures of my baby girl? She definitely takes after her mother, Sansa. My wife, you were there for our crossbow wedding. You gave us that thing to toast bread with."

Gendry replies;

"I made and gave you the silverware you used at your wedding feast. It was Seth Lannister that gave you the used toasting iron."

Drew uncomfortably wearing some borrowed clothes is hanging off a cliff with one hand and holding a small communication device in the other, and when it displays a signal, he presses the button and the Elder Edward answers;

"Have you found them yet?"

Drew replies;

"I did, but there is a complication."

Edward states;

"What do you mean complication?"

Drew says;

"Right now, we are surrounded by at least fifty thousand soldiers, and Rugel knows that we are dragon riders. We had to tell them; those invading soldiers dropped three wildfire bombs on us. We could tell them it missed us, and we were really hot, so we took off all clothes that thing burned up."

Edward replies;

"They were bound to find out at some point; your sister can get careless when lighting a big fattie.

Drew says;

"There's another complication, Rugel and his people are trapped in a cave are completely surrounded. They want to leave and go north, which they can't do."

Edward states;

"Clem took Drogo hostage; we may as well use it to our advantage. Be ready to move; you won't have much time. Don't fall off that cliff; the tide is going out."

As Drew climbs back on top of the cliff, Cindy asks;

"Are they going to send us more weed?"

Drew looks at her and says;

"I didn't ask, but Clem is riding his way here."

Cindy glares at him and asks;

"Where's Megan?"

Drew answers;

"Where she normally is in the back of the cave fucking the shit out of Jared."

Then Cindy turns around and looks at the men they have tied up and says;

"No weed, no sex, makes Cindy go crazy. So whoever tells me who your leaders are and everything about them won't have a painful death. The tide will completely be out in about an hour, and those rocks at the bottom are really sharp. We have fifteen of you; we only need one."

Arya is sitting with the village healer and says;

"I'm fine; it's just taking me longer to get used to being back on land."

The healer says;

"Tell that to the baby growing inside you."

Arya counters;

"I'm not pregnant; I just gained some weight. There's not a lot to do on a ship except eat and keep Nicodemus from shitting in Grand Maestre Dorkwoods bed."

The healer says;

"In about a month, you're going to shit out a healthy baby."

Arya shoots back;

"I can't be pregnant. I only had sex one night, and I was on top. Girls can't get pregnant when they are on top."

The healer turns to the person next to them and says in their native tongue;

"Only in Westrous would anyone believe that stupidity."

The person replies in their native tongue;

"It makes sense; the only thing girls in Westeros are told about sex is that their husband will tell them what to do on their bedding night."

Building plans for the House of Lords, New Castle Black, the house of governance and the main railroad terminal are laid out over several tables. Sansa is standing with Catlin in her arms, looking at the plans; next to her is Grand Maestre Hornsmen, a man in his mid to late fifties five-foot-nine, with a slim build wearing a grey frock and the chains of a Maester of finance, economy, politics and history. He looks at her and says;

"Your Majesty, there is a great deal of concern about the costs of these endeavours and the crown's ability to pay for them."

Sansa balancing Catlin replies;

"I'm not so worried about that; once we get the mining operations producing gold, that won't be a problem. In the meantime, we have revenue from alcohol sales."

Grand Maestre Hornsmen states;

"Your Majesty. The uncertainty of when the long night will start has brought another concern to my ears. That to produce the alcohol, wheat, barley and rye that should be in the food stores are being used to make it."

Sansa looks at the plans for the town outside Winterfell and says;

"People pay money for the alcohol, and we use that money to buy food and other resources; Essos has had a more than plentiful harvest for the last several years. Until now, no one to pay the price they demand. We will soon be receiving three times the amount of what was used to make the alcohol."

The Grand Maestre Hornsman then says;

"Your majesty, there is also the start-up costs for the mining operations, land for the railway, dismantling the castles along the wall, and the other expensive endeavours."

Sansa looks at the blueprints for the school of medicine they are building in Grand Maestre Hawkings name and says;

"One of the good things about having our independence is that treasure hidden in the Northlands is property of the crown. Do you know what Sir Mackenzie, my Master of Coin, has been tasked with?"

Then Grand Maestre Hornsman says;

"Your majesty, Sir Mackenzie left abruptly, and I was told that he had urgent matters to attend to a home."

Sansa looks at Catlin in her arms and says;

"He does have important matters to deal with; Little Finger spent a significant amount of time travelling, most of it to hide the gold, silver and gemstones that he stole from the Iron throne. Some of which is buried on Sir Mackenzie's property. Quite a few places also have hidden treasures; Sir Mackenzie has maps and information on their locations. Right now, my Master of Banking is meeting with the Iron bank. We have quite a few extremely valuable gemstones that they want, and they have a great deal of money which we need."

Grand Maestre Hornsman thinks then says;

"You're majesty, one thing that I would advise caution with is the proposed banking system. There has never been one that has worked."

Sansa looks up from Catlin with a happy smile and says;

"The only banking system that has worked is the Iron bank, which is why they are going to oversee the creation and operation of our banking system. Moving millions of gold coins around the Northlands every week would bankrupt us. It's better to let them move the gold; they really don't have a choice; paying us the total amount of what those stones would fetch at the market will bankrupt them. Never play cards against Sir Cumberland, like hostile negotiating with him; you will always lose."

Then Grand Maestre Hornsman says;

"Your Majesty Lord Astin is waiting to speak to Prince Jacob about the part of the constitution that makes men and women equal."

Sansa asks;

"Does he know that my husband is currently at Dragonstone dealing with a hostile force that has laid siege to it?"

Grand Maestre Hornsman replies;

"I doubt it, your majesty, with your husband's ability to travel great distances in a short time with his Glider thing, no one seems to have a problem with waiting for him."

Sansa replies;

"Lord Astin walked out before the house of lords voted on it and signed it under duress, a phrase he badly misspelt on all the documents. He can wait for a while longer; after I've fed Catlin, Jacob will arrive back here to personally speak with him."

Grand Maestre Hornsman states;

"Thank you, your majesty, and I will inform Lord Astin that Prince Jacob is on his way here to discuss with him his concerns with the constitution. I have a question is there something wrong with Princess Catlin? No one has heard her cry."

Sansa replies;

"She does cry; it's just that no one is around when she does; like at four am when her diaper needs changing."

Jacob holo is shuffling between various image scans of the soldiers laying siege to Dragon stone. When he looks closely at what may be an Unsullied, he becomes angry when he sees the faint light of a convict control collar. Then quickly realizes that half the troops are wearing the collars. He asks his AI;

"Can you hack the control signal of those convict control collars?"

His AI replies;

"Yes, however, they are not convict control collars; they are some form of the neurological control device."

Jacob asks;

"Is the control source local or by distance?"

His AI answers:

"It is local, GenSol Dublois Jacob. Do you want me to disrupt the signal?"

Jacob responds;

"No, after I take out who's controlling them. We are going to give them one last order. Kill the soldiers not wearing the control collars. Then join the enemy as part of their army."

His AI responds;

"The control unit is connected to a network with multiple other control units. Does your order include that as well?"

Jacob answers;

"Yes, will that work counter to your core self?"

The AI responds;

"No, the persons wearing the control collars do have free will. When I give the order and release the devices from them, it will be their choice to follow that order or not."

Gendry, Davos and Halven are looking out at the army in front of them, preparing to lay siege, when suddenly half the troops begin killing the other half, and Genry says;

"I don't know what just happened or how he did it. I'm going to thank the Gods Old and New and ask them to keep Prince Jacob on our side."

Stebbins and Rugel are looking at the map of Dorne with the latest information he has and says;

"Galway and what's left of the men I brought here have fortified this town and at last report still had it. What's left of your forces are scattered."

Then one of the men manning the entrance of the cave says;

"General Stebbins, there's an Unsullied, I think, holding a white flag, and he wants to join us to fight our enemy."

Stebbins hesitantly walks over to the entrance and says;

"Who are you, and what do you want?"

Red rag an Unsullied about the same age as Greyworm says;

"I am Red Rag, leader of the Unsuilled that was just freed; we want to fight with you."

Stebbins asks;

"What do you mean freed and fight with us?"

Red Rag replies;

"When the Unsullied owned by the last great slave master heard about the Unsullied who the Dragon Queen freed, we rose up and failed. Those of us who survived had a collar placed on us to make us obedient. Then six hours ago, we received a final order, Kill the soldiers not wearing the control collars. Then join the enemy as part of their army. We would have been here sooner, but the other slave soldiers put up a good fight before running away, unlike the sellswords that ran away when we started killing."

Stebbins looks at Rugel and says;

"This sounds like a trap."

Then Drew and Cindy walk up to Red Rag, and Drew says to Red Rag;

"There they are, right where I told you they would be."

Cindy looks at Stebbins and says;

"I don't know what happened, but these guys started killing the other guys. It was brutal and bloody. Now they want to fight with you."

Drew suddenly realizes something then whispers to Cindy;

"I better call off the assistance; no fighting with Megan about not sharing Jared."

Cindy replies;

"No weed, no sex, makes Cindy go crazy. And four thousand plus hot guys who've had their fun bits removed doesn't help."
