Chapter 7 – InvasionThe old abandoned warehouse in what used to be Valaria's manufacturing district has seen better days. Water leaks through small holes in the roof, shelves have fallen apart. Then three holes big enough for a person the climb through are cut. Then Daisy and two cobbled together drones float into the room. Daisy controls the cobbled-together drones moving through the abandoned warehouse, looking for the parts they need to restart a reactor or create a temporary power source. Combat unit two monitors hostiles on the roof, while Combat unit three holds a cobbled-together disruptor energy null field emitter. The drones collect the final parts they need to rebuild a reactor or temporary power source. Combat Unit Two states;
"Hostile persons with fully charged disruptor weapons are moving through the subterranean tunnels in our direction."
As Daisy, Combat Unit two, and the cobbled-together drones fly away to safety, Combat Unit Three places the emitter on the roof and engages a thirty-second timer. Then jumps, and instead of floating upwards, the compressed gas rockets strapped to it fire, shooting Combat Unit Three up and to safety. Then beams of disruptor energy shoot through the holes; when the emitter engages, the disruptor energy dissipates, followed by the sounds of the disruptor rifles imploding. Combat Unit Three states;
"Initial test of portable null field generator has been successful, unexpected side effect implosion of disruptor weapons power units."
Maestre Luwin is standing on the deck of Greyworms ship as they try to outrun two of the rogue Ironborn ships when he says;
"We will need to clear the deck for a flying contraption to land."
The man standing next to him asks;
"What flying contraption?'
When Jacob decloaks the Predator and takes out the main sails of the two rouge Ironborn ships in pursuit, Maestre Luwin points at it and says;
"That flying contraption."
As the Predator gets closer, the man states;
"We can't clear enough room on the deck for that thing to land."
Then the Predator pulls alongside them and hovers in sync with the ship's movements. The canopy opens, and Jacob states;
"Maestre Luwin, it's finally nice to meet you; I'm here to take Greyworm and his two family members to Valaria."
Greyworm comes topside, sees Jacob in the Predator and says;
"I don't want to know where you found that thing. What do you want?"
Jacob responds;
"I'm here to take you and the two children to Valaria. Get them and climb into the backseat."
Greyworm states;
"I am not going to leave my men and ship for the pirates to take."
Before Jacob can say something, 9780 states;
"I have more than enough lift capacity to carry the entire ship to Valaria. Do you wish me to do so?"
Jacob asks;
"Can both us and the ship be cloaked?"
9780 replies;
"No, however, your active camouflage field can be extended long enough for me to fly over the hostile fleet safely."
Jacob then asks;
"Can the sailing ship survive the flight? It wasn't designed for it?"
9780 states;
"Yes. Mostly. Engaging lift and capture fields."
The rouge Ironborn quickly fix their sails; they watch Greyworms ship pulled up and out of the water and fade into nothing.
Sansa and one hundred mounted soldiers are in a standoff with an equal number of men from the south who have come north to prevent the Wall from being torn down. As Sansa thinks about what to say, Carlson, the man on the horse next to her and who also travelled with Jacob, notices the pistol on Sansa's belt and quietly says to her;
"Your Majesty, I was under the belief that Prince Jacob destroyed all of the things on your belt."
Sansa quietly replies;
"He did, what Grand Maestre Hawkings let him."
Then rides forward with the man and two others carrying a white flag to meet with the leader of the southerners riding north. When they get into talking range, the leader of the men looks at Sansa and states;
"Can you bring your husband so that we can deal with this situation properly?"
Sansa tries not to react in anger and states;
"My husband is fighting an invading army in Dorne, that if it isn't stopped there, and they will destroy and conquer the six kingdoms."
The man looks at her in disgust and states;
"Leave it to a stupid woman to believe that there are six kingdoms when it is in fact, seven kingdoms. And we are riding north on the orders of our King, the King of the Seven Kingdoms, to stop the lunacy of tearing down the only thing keeping the wildlings from invading."
As one of the men next to Sansa is about to correct him, Sansa motions him to say nothing then counters to the man;
"Why would my brother King Bran the crippled send men to invade my sovereign lands to prevent us from tearing down a symbol of oppression without first telling me?"
The man angrily states;
"King Bran's sister died at the battle of the bastards. He has no other family other than the bastard brother John Snow who did the world a service by killing the Targaryan usurper."
Sansa listens closely to a sound in the distance then replies;
"I apologize; we got off on the wrong foot. My sister, King Bran's sister Lady Gwendolyn Stark-Dublois died of injuries she received at the battle of the bastards. My name is Queen Sansa Stark, first of her name, Queen of the Northlands, Warden of the North and wife of Prince Jacob Dublois, The Sky Knight."
Before the man can say anything disrespectful, two thousand mounted, battle-hardened Northmen surround them and Sansa states;
"You and your men have entered with arms and intent of committing violent acts in the Queendom of the Northlands. (she turns to Carlson) Take everything from them except their undergarments, give them water and chase them south. Also, bring me these orders that they were given."
As the leader and the men next to him begin to draw their swords, they are hit with several blunted crossbow bolts from the men who had dismounted, walked over and took up firing positions in anticipation of this exact moment.
Then Sansa says;
"If any of you attempt to enter the Northlands for any reason, you will be immediately executed."
As the men are stripping the captured southerners, Sansa is speaking with three of the lords of the southern border and says;
"while your men patrol the southern borders. Send me a list of what you will need to prepare for the Long Night, and I will send supplies and any people you will need as replacements for your men protecting our borders. There are more of these men coming north; how many, I don't know."
One of the lords asks;
"Your majesty, why aren't they riding south to Dorne where they are needed?"
Sansa replies;
"I have no idea; Bran has sent out thousands of notices for volunteer soldiers to ride south and fight the people invading Dorne. Almost no one has answered the call. Instead, they are riding north to protect something that needs to be torn down. For a cause that ended with the death of the Night's King."
Then Carlson trying hard not to laugh walks over with the man's orders and says;
"Your majesty, I have the man's orders from your brother. They are from your brother."
Sansa takes the orders and reads them, and says;
"It takes a special type of man not to pay a licensed scribe to tell them what is written on a piece of paper."
Then she shows it for the border lords to read, and one of them says;
"I can see how someone with poor reading skills could mistake North for South, not the rest of it."
Sansa states;
"Find someone to read what is on that piece of paper before you chase them south in their undergarments. I have to go and speed up the tearing down of that fucking wall; when it's gone, we will point towards it and tell them they are welcome to go and man the wall and keep the south safe from the army of the dead. Who have already killed all the wildlings, once they get to it."
As Sansa rides away, one of the Border Lords says;
"I like Prince Jacob, but when he's up here. She gets distracted."
A second Lord replies;
"It's more like annoyed when you include the child sisters and their need for serious adult supervision, and it's a worst-case scenario."
A third Lord asks;
"Didn't you find it strange that Princess Catlin wasn't with her?"
The first Lord counters;
"Princess Catlin was here, in the arms of her handmaiden Bertie. I think that Princess Catlin understands more than a baby should. She will make a great Queen when it's her time. She will know everyone, everything of importance, and most of us will have to think about who she is."
Rugel is still in a Dragon Temple, not knowing precisely what it is that he is supposed to do and asks the man next to him;
"The only thing you need from me right now is to turn the dragon eggs."
The man without looking up answers;
"Yes. One quarter to the left, when they have been fully turned to the left, then you do a quarter turn to the right."
Rugel asks;
"Why would turning an egg one quarter turn to the left, then one quarter turn to the left. They are just eggs."
The man, without looking up, replies;
"Have you ever touched a dragon egg before?"
Rugel replies;
"Not until now."
The man looks at him and states;
"Well, it matters."
Rugel is sitting in the village with some of the Valley people when one of them holds out a joint for them, and Rugel says;
"Sorry, I can't smoke weed; I'm married with responsibilities."
When he says that the people in the room become upset and one of the states;
"Then why are you here with us and not the married with responsibilities, people?"
Rugel replies;
"I don't know where they are."
One of them angrily points to a door and says;
"They are in there with their proper furniture, working toilet, running water and air conditioning. Who needs those things when you have Weed and an awesome living, sleeping and fucking space like this."
Rugel looks around at the large room with broken windows, makeshift furniture and bodies moving under a blanket and says;
"Having responsibilities means that one has to suffer."
When Rugel opens the door, he steps into a bright, clean room with proper furniture, tables, a clean communal kitchen and well-dressed people reading books or having an intelligent conversation, with a cool, pleasant-smelling breeze in the air. Without the smell from people smoking weed. Edward the Elder sees him and says;
"Welcome, we were going to bring you in here earlier. But couldn't find you?"
Rugel says;
"I was across the road turning Dragon Eggs."
When two of the other people in the room hear that, they stop what they are doing, walk over and begin to examine him, and Edward says;
"The reason why the children wear the anti-radiation body paint is that the dragon eggs are radioactive, and turning them regularly helps with dissipating the lethal radiation inside of them."
Another Elder states;
"They have one responsibility and are always finding someone else to do it for them."
Then another Elder says;
"Let's get you decontaminated. Do those clothes have any sentimental value, as we will have to burn them."
Gendry watches his men, along with the Free Unsullied who marched south, start to engage enemy troops that have been setting up a fortified position. Davo's stops him from riding carelessly into the fight and says;
"Your Grace, you are the person in charge. You need to always be in a position to lead your troops and adapt to the enemies' response to your attack."
Gendry holds up his war hammer and states;
"I made this perfect weapon, then had to leave it in the snow. Go to war without it and pay Freefolk to find it and bring it back to me. Lately, I feel that hitting people with it is going to make me feel good."
Davos doesn't know what to say and then see's a group of enemy soldiers trying to flank the troops and says;
"We can go over there and deal with them and still maintain a position of control."
Then realizes that Gendry is already racing towards the enemy soldiers trying to flank their troops and says to Gendry's guards:
"Don't just sit there; go after him and don't let him get killed."
Tyrion and the troops he is bringing to Dorne watch a catamaran double-hulled ship speed faster than any ship they've ever seen towards them, then slow down and come aside. One of the four Ironborn crewing the strange ship says to them;
"Turn around; there's a massive fleet anchored in your direction. Where are you going?"
Tyrion replies;
"Dorne"
The Ironborn who asked him looks at the others and then says;
"Then you are headed in the wrong direction. (he points to the man lying in the open hull) The stowaway there will guide you there."
The man stands up and says;
"How can I be a stowaway when this thing doesn't have a cargo compartment big enough for me to hide in."
As the man climbs onto Tyrion's ship, he says;
"Slowing down to warn you guys almost cost them setting a new speed record, those things can't carry cargo or weapons, but it can outrun everything."
Then he looks at the crew of a ship that until now has only travelled along the coastline of Volantis and Tyrion states;
"Finding enough ships to carry several thousand soldiers from Volantis to Dorne wasn't a problem; finding crew whose experience wasn't limited to coastal shipping, shrimping, or the fishing industry was impossible. Whoever the last great slave master is, they hired every open ocean sailor to crew that massive fleet we were about to sail into."
The Ironborn pulls out a compass and says;
"They have powerful warships, crewed by sailors who only ran from warships in the past. And the Rouge Ironborn ships we were looking for. Two of those ships are adrift until their sails are put back together. I don't know what attacked them, but it tore all their sails and most of their rigging to pieces."
Amyelia is with Elsa, who is trying to help her understand her gift of communicating with people at a distance using a mirror. Amyelia holds up a hand mirror states;
"I talked to Cindy with a mirror; it didn't go very well. My hair was a disaster; that mud bath was good for my skin but not my hair. Why hasn't she ravened me back? My hair couldn't have been that bad."
Elsa slowly drinks from a bottle and says;
"It takes time for a Raven to get here from wherever Cindy is. Let's try talking to someone who isn't Cindy."
Amyelia childishly counters;
"There is no one else that I know that isn't here in loser fell."
Elsa starts to drink more quickly then drunkenly replies;
"I would suggest your father, but he's dead and stepped into the light. It took Elaina almost five hours and more than two dozen kicks in her ass to pick his name to call. So why don't you call your step-father?"
Amyelia states;
"Why would I call that loser? He knocked up mom, had a crossbow wedding, then ran away with a really lame excuse of going south to fight an invading army in Dorne. A bag of Weed and a case of Moonshine would have been a better line."
Elsa kicks Amyelia in the ass and drunkenly says;
"Make the call and ask him if he abandoned your mother?'
Then Amyelia looks at herself in the mirror and concentrates.
Stebbins is in a brutal hand to hand combat fight when Amyelia suddenly appears in front of him and says;
"So loser, why did you knock up and abandon my mother?"
As Stebbins is fighting two men with his sword and a dagger, he says;
"Amyelia, get to cover."
Amyelia sarcastically replies;
"I'm in a room in Winterfell; how can you not see that?"
Stebbins, still fighting men trying to kill him, replies;
"I'm fighting for my life. How can't you see that?"
Amyelia counters with;
"More like a drunken bar fight."
As Stebbins defeats the one in front of him, three more enemy soldiers attack him, Stebbins says;
"I have to go; I'll Raven you back, send my love to your mother."
Then Elsa takes the mirror from her and slaps the back of Amyelia's head, and says;
"When you are talking to someone using a mirror, take some time to see what they are doing before you speak to them. That stupidity can get people killed."
Amyelia counters;
"Step Stebbins has been in hundreds of barfights; none of them got him killed before. Why should this latest one be any different? What did you do with my sisters?"
Elsa finishes the bottle she has been drinking and says;
"Elaina is learning how Moonshine is made, and Eeina is tied to Bart while she goes hunting and showing her the cycle of life. Now try to call your mother with the mirror?"
Amyelia counters with;
"Why would I do that when I can open the door. She's been standing on the other side since we started, and I have no idea what is taking her so long to knock or walk-in."
Elaina is looking at the fermentation tanks for the slurry that will be distilled to make her favourite drink, Moonshine, and says;
"My favourite beverage is made from that rotting stuff?"
The person standing next to her answers;
"Yes, it will be another day before that will be put into the stills. Now, if you will turn around, you will see the empty fermentation tank that you will be cleaning."
As Elaina, with disgust, climbs the ladder into the empty fermentation tank, she says to herself;
"Blacksmith Hammer Vodka isn't that bad. I could get used to drinking it."
Eeina is still tied to Bart's back and horrified to watch her eat her small furry forest friend Harold the rabbit and says;
"Bart, you didn't have to eat Harold; he's not food. He's our friend."
Bart states;
"I'm a Dire Wolf, top of the food chain, and Harold is at the bottom and no friend of mine. He was born to be eaten, like an owl eating a mouse. I'm still hungry; let's go eat something bigger you haven't given a name."
Eeina fearfully asks;
"Why are you doing this to me?"
Bart answers;
"So can understand the difference between friends and food. That way, when your furry friends screw with you, you won't have a problem eating them. Or feeding them to something higher on the food chain. Like an untrustworthy mouse to an owl."
Eeina counters with;
"Mika is misunderstood, not untrustworthy. Jimmy is blind and has a drinking problem."
Jacob is sitting in the cockpit of the Predator as it slowly and carefully carries Greyworms ship to the shores of Valaria when Amyelia with messed up hair, looking like she's been repeatedly kicked in the ass and slapped on the back of her head and says;
"The Drunken Pervert who likes to kick my sisters and me in the ass with her not-so-tiny feet told me I had to call someone on my mirror, and you were the only one who wasn't supposedly doing something important."
Jacob turns around and says;
"I am doing something important; how are you sitting in the back seat of the attack fighter?"
Amyelia states;
"Thankfully, I'm not; this thing, whatever it is, needs a fashion makeover. Can you guess where I am?"
Jacob responds with;
"Not fixing your hair and clothes for when Cindy Ravens you back."
Amyelia states;
"It's a Raven; I'll be fine. Besides, she's very busy killing people somewhere I'm not. The Drunken Pervert keeps telling me that Cindy is a horrible friend, and the Drunken Pervert has never met Cindy; how judgemental is that."
Jacob asks;
"What is this person's name?"
Amyelia states;
"Do as I tell you, or I'll kick you in the ass with my not-so-tiny feet is her name as far as we are concerned. Her feet are huge; she's my height, her feet are bigger than Elaina's giant feet. If she's going to keep kicking me in the ass, she's going to need more fashionable footwear to do it. My ass is meant for the latest in Fashion, and not when someone is kicking my ass with their unfashionable giant footwear."
As Jacob turns forward and ignores Amyelia's continuing rant about the drunken pervert and Fashion, 9780 asks;
"Jacob, is there something wrong with the oxygen mixture? You show signs of increased stress and hallucinations, usually indicative of prolonged exposure to lower oxygen levels. "
Jacob asks;
"What do you mean hallucinations?"
9780 states;
"You were having a conversation with an empty seat."
Jacob looks back at Amyelia continuing her childish rant and says;
"You don't see that, no telepathic alarms or unknown communications?"
9780 states;
"The only telepathic activity is from the individual designated as your wife. Your Combat Unit's AI and someone designated as Bertie all agree that blocking that telepathic activity will not be in the best interest of our self-preservation."
When Amyelia realizes that Jacob is not listening to her, she ramps up her conversation, and Jacob says to 9780;
"Increase oxygen levels. Hallucinating a pain-in-the-ass girl-child that doesn't realize she's in a long-distance lesbian relationship with a bi-sexual heavy weed smoking girl-child who will throw her away once she's given her virginity to her is a trip no one should have."
Amyelia's rant with Jacob is broken when Elaina and Eeina force their way into the room, pushing the bed Elsa had passed out on out of their way, and Amyelia says;
"Jacob has a new flying thing that needs a fashion makeover that we should take for a ride and visit Cindy."
Elaina looks at Elsa passed out in an unnatural and mostly uncomfortable looking manner and says;
"She's passed out, and the door is open; how far away do you think we can get before those giant feet of her's wake and start looking for my ass to kick."
Amyelia states;
"I should have told both of you not to cross the threshold into the room."
As Elaina and Eeina are suddenly pulled into the room, Elsa's bed with her in it slams against the door; Amyelia continues;
"It's a trap once you've crossed the threshold you're in for the night or until The Drunken Pervert Babysitter wakes up and kicks us out of our beds. But my mind was elsewhere."
Elaina states;
"You need to give up on Cindy, after what I saw and smelt today. I'm giving up Moonshine."
Amyelia counters with;
"What was distracting me was how badly Jacob treated me when I was talking to him with my mirror. I talked to him about important things, and all he could do was get drunk. I have no idea how he got drunk; it was like it was in the air. Elaina, I think you would enjoy riding in his new flying thing with your helmet off."
Eeina states;
"I feel sorry for Princess Catlin; Sansa is working hard to make this dump an excellent place to live in, and her loser father is running around the world getting drunk in a flying machine somewhere outside this dump. Being completely irresponsible."
Amyelia asks;
"What did you two do today?"
Eeina replies;
"I learned why I shouldn't give my furry friends names before they proved themselves to me. Bart ate Harold, Tasmin. Roger and Whilihmina. But didn't eat stupid Blind Jimmy, the owl who is pissed because I didn't let him eat Mika, the mouse. Since when does food sitting high up in a tree slow down a hungry Dire Wolf?
Elaina says;
"I learned how Moonshine is made and wish I didn't. Time to give BlackSmith Hammer Vodka a second chance."
Then Elsa startles them by saying;
"Get some rest after what I saw today; coming here three years early to help you three learn about your gifts is going to take an additional five years, and what you have to do is in five."
Eeina asks;
"What do we have to do?"
Elsa pulls the cork out of a bottle with her teeth, spits it at them and says;
"Mathematics is something you should learn. Stop screwing around and do what I damn well say. Now get some sleep."
While drinking the bottle, Elsa snaps her fingers, and all three sisters are in their nightclothes and in bed. Amyelia states;
"I have to pee. Couldn't the Drunk Pervert Babysitter wait until I went pee to chain me to the bed?"
Elaina says;
"I'm hungry; cleaning the fermentation tanks was hard work. Amyelia, if you pee on me, it won't be the Drunk Pervert Babysitter's foot in your ass you have to worry about."
Eeina states;
"After watching Bart eat my furry friends, eating something is the last thing on my mind."
Then they realize that the door is open, and Elsa has left the room.
As 9780 holds Greyworms ship above the sea, Jacob is patching stress fractures in the hull before the ship can be put back in the water, and someone says;
"We can do that if you put us on the beach."
Jacob replies;
"I would, unfortunately, that's Valaria, and the citadel just dropped fifteen stone persons on the beach.
The crewman looks closely at the beach in the distance and sees several Stone persons on the beach. As one of them starts walking into the ocean and towards them, Jacob says;
"They can't swim, which they don't know."
The two pirate ships that Jacob disabled have repaired their sails and are headed back to the anchored fleet when they see in the distance Yara's two massive new warships headed quickly towards them and too late to avoid the long-range scorpion bolt that tears through their ships."
Yara watches the long-range scorpion bolts tear through the two rouge Ironborn ships sinking one and states;
"I wanted to capture that sinking ship, (Then see's the anchored fleet in the distance and says) get us close enough to that fleet to start sinking their ships, and wait for the rest of the fleet to catch up."
As Yara's ship slows down, they watch the fleet trying to pull up their anchors and run into each other as if they didn't have a plan to retreat if attacked by a superior force. As the rouge Ironborn ships begin to sail away, Yara's first mate says;
"Should we go after them?"
Yara thinks then sees what looks like a sizeable ship-mounted siege weapon on a ship larger than hers says;
"No, but the massive catapult on that ship bigger than ours is something we should take; now that I know where the rouge ships are, they don't have anywhere to run where we can't find them."
The first mate looks at the ship with the massive catapult on it says;
"I would have mounted a trebuchet on it; you can turn a trebuchet without turning the ship."
Yara replies;
"Until they untangle the ships surrounding them, they can't turn it towards us. That ship will be the flagship of our new cargo fleet. Why spend coin and resources building a cargo ship when a perfectly good one is waiting to be taken. Even if someone has already paid in full for us to build one."
The first mate asks;
"I wonder who they were going to use that thing on? They have more than one."
As Greyworm and the two children are taken to the chamber where the three great dragons that all dragons answer to Daisy wearing her combat unit says to Jacob;
"That ship you brought here. What can you tell me about it?"
Jacob replies;
"It's an attack fighter from an alternate world they call Earth, not Terra."
Daisy states;
"We've met people from five Earths. I don't know why, but people from alternate realities keep coming here, it's Terrans and Earthlings that always wind up trapped here. We may be able to use the power source from its disruptor cannon to power up our systems long enough to download all the data about our reactors."
Jacob looks at 9780 and says;
"That's the first I'm hearing about a disruptor cannon on it."
9780 says;
"It is non-functional, there was no point in telling you about it, and you never asked about the cannon in the center of my fuselage."
Daisy looks at 9780 and asks;
"Is the power source damaged?"
9780 replies;
"It is working correctly, and the energy matrix is cracked, which has rendered it non-functional."
Jacob asks;
"Can the power source be removed without harm or damage to you?"
9780 replies;
"It can be removed with the proper equipment. Which you do not possess."
Higgins and Marcus watch some men try and kill Hellstrom as they finally have had enough of him permanently demoting their friends. Hellstrom takes his time brutally and sadistically killing them when the men who attacked him lay dead at his feet. Marcus quietly says to Higgins in Celtic;
"How are we going to kill him when he doesn't use his disruptor pistol."
Higgins quietly replies in Celtic;
"When his cybernetics begin to lose power, he'll start using it. If he doesn't, we just have to be smart. It took me almost a year to recover from the last shithead who shot me with a disruptor."
The Hybrid's name is Erin, and in her Terra, she is the unwanted daughter of her worlds Jacob. Until she had been captured and collared by Hellstrom, She had dedicated her life to killing her less than loving father. She slowly wakes in a medical tent where the Unsullied had taken her after freeing her. Sitting next to her is the Unsullied that she transferred her control implant's command unit to who says in a language she does not understand;
"This thing, what is it. I have to stay here with you, or it causes me pain."
As she looks at him and saying in a variation of German;
"I don't understand what you are saying?"
Mira, the girl that had watched Erin being beaten by the former communications officer. Then watch as he beat the slave next to her death, forced to clean up the murder scene and then raped by that same man says in a variation of German;
"The Other Worlders forced us to learn their language so that we would know what they were saying before they beat or raped us. Grey Dog wants to know why you put that thing on his wrist."
Erin looks at her, then at Grey Dog and says in a variation of German;
"Whatever I call tell you would sound like nonsense to you and him. If I hadn't, I would be dead. I'm not ready to die yet. Can you tell him to touch the red dot on it and hold his finger on it for a moment"
Mira relays the message, Grey Dog touches the button, and Erin feels a shooting pain, but it's not as painful as the last time it induced pain. When Grey Dog sees her in pain, he stops touching the button and asks why she asked him to torture her.
Mira translates what Grey Dog asked and Erin in a variation of German states;
"I need to see...I only have something that sounds like nonsense to answer that."
Then Erin motions him to bring his wrist to her and asks Mira;
"Can you bring your wrist over here?"
Mira hesitantly does as she asks, then Erin transfers the control unit from Grey Dog's wrist and puts it on Mira's and says in a variation of German;
"He can go back to killing people; teach me the common language."
Mira looks at her and asks in a variation of German;
"You are filthy. Do you not want to clean yourself first. I have never taught anyone anything."
Erin smells herself and says in a variation of German;
"I've smelt worse; there is a first time for everything."
Hellstrom is standing in front of one of the Last Great Slave Master, Masters of War, and the elite soldiers of Great Slave Masters Imperial guard. They are multi-generational soldiers bred for battle with an unyielding loyalty to the Great Slave Master speaks through a translator in a variation of German;
"Commander Hellstrom, why are you and your men not in a position of a battle with the resistance to my Master's return to ownership of this land?"
Hellstrom replies in common;
"There is no need to speak my glorious language badly; I am waiting for the right time. I sent you my plasma cannons, and they should have decimated the enemy."
The Warmaster coldly replies;
"They were until a strange flying creature appeared and destroyed them. We have not won a battle since. We asked for assistance using the devices you gave us; when we did not receive a reply, I was dispatched to find you and ask you to capture and kill the enemy commanders."
Hellstrom thinks then states;
"I have some tactical issues to deal with; I will send my best trackers and assassins, Captain Higgins and Lt . Marcus, to find the enemy commanders and kill them."
The Warmaster counters;
"My Master requests that you honour our agreement by fulfilling our request personally. Our forces have many assassins and trackers; what we need you to do must not be done subtly. A show of force is required; you demonstrated your abilities to us. However, you have yet to put them to use in our campaign to take back what belongs to my Master."
Hellstrom angrily states;
"No one tells me when I choose to go into battle."
When he says that, the imperial guard steps forward and takes an intimidating defence posture showing years of high-level training from others of equal high-level training in the way of fighting and winning.
When Hellstrom goes to pull out his disruptor pistol, he feels the tip points of two spears on the back of his head and another soldier holding a valerian steel battle-axe in position to remove his head or arm. Then the Warmaster states;
"We have been observing how you interact with your men and how you fight. My Master's Imperial guard is interested in how long it will take you to die. Unlike the men, you have been executed and brutally murdered in hand-to-hand combat. They are neither afraid of you nor of death. They also know of your vulnerabilities which is how seven of them have been able to move into attack positions around you without you noticing."
Hellstrom takes his hand off the disruptor pistol and says;
"I saw all seven of them, and I was just waiting for them to make their move. I'll go deal with the enemy leaders."
Before the Warmaster leaves, the eleven guardsmen surrounding Hellstrom move past him and stand behind the Warmaster, who says;
"My Master has so far tolerated your dishonour of our agreement. Please prove that you entered it with the purpose of honourably adhering to it. We will be observing what you will do next."
After they have left, Hellstrom screams for Higgins and is told that both Higgins and Marcus have left to forage for food. Then asks for the status of repairs to the communication systems. When a terrified man replies in a variation of German;
"The communications systems are unrepairable without the Hybrid. During last night's attack, the escaped slaves took it, most of our food, and as many slaves, they could easily free."
Hellstrom instinctively reaches for his disruptor pistol, then remembers what the Warmaster said about them watching and instead backhands the man then angrily states in a variation of German;
"Then you had better get the broken shuttle working. We will need more than its power systems, and we will need it with its full-powered shields to track down and take back the Predator that Sunderland lost to a fucking GenSol."
The terrified man states in a variation of German;
"The broken shuttle can't be repaired; the only one that could have gotten it working without replacement parts was the Hybrid with its ability to repair any tech."
Hellstrom tries not to kill the terrified man then orders the men to march the moment Higgins and Marcus return from foraging.
Higgins and Marcus are speaking with the Unsullied/Free Slave fighters when a female free Slave in a variation of German says;
"Captain Higgins, Lt. Marcus, my name is Frances, and I will translate your words for the leader of the dead Dying Weed of the Unsullied."
Higgins in common says;
"I learned your language; there will be no need for translation Frances, I am sorry for the torture those animals did to you and others."
Dying Weed asks;
"You were a loyal dog to Commander Hellstrom; why are you here?"
Higgins replies;
"I am a professional soldier, and I was tasked with working alongside the animals. Loyalty isn't required, and Hellstrom deserves none from anyone."
Marcus continues;
"Our contractual obligations to them ended the moment we arrived in this world. Knowing what the animals were capable of and their lack of honour was one of the reasons why we stayed with them, and to give them one last chance to live a peaceful life."
Higgins continues;
"They wasted it; instead of destroying their weapons and leaving their ways on what was left of Earth, they decided that it would be better if they conquered the planet."
Marus continues;
"Taking a contract with them allowed us to get close enough to the last person involved in making my brother and me the last of our people. Hellstrom, we have hunted him through three wars and almost one hundred of our years."
Higgins continues;
"Your men liberated a half GenSol woman from the camp last during your attack last night. She wants to kill Hellstrom as much as we do; he captured, collared her, then repeatedly beat and raped her before giving her to his men. Would you please let her know that we have the first right of vengeance in killing Hellstrom?
Dying Weed states;
"There are many of us that have a right to kill Hellstrom; what do you have to offer us that may lessen their need to kill Hellstrom?"
Marcus states;
"With or without his disruptor pistol, none of them, including the GenSol woman, stand a chance of killing him. He has cybernetics that even powered down will be more than enough to keep him alive and kill any of you."
Higgens continues;
"We, on the other hand, can; we are different. Our body's enhancements are similar to the GenSol Woman, and we also have intelligence that is valuable to everyone fighting the Last Great Shitmaster."
Marcus continues;
"When the Warmaster arrived in the camp, it confirmed what we already suspected. Everything that is now happening is by their design. You, your people and the other slave fighters were expected to rebel. Hellstrom was waiting for the right moment to strike and replace the leadership; they expected this when he set up camp and made the minimal effort required in fulfilling his agreement."
Higgens continues;
"The Invasion in Dorne was a distraction to have the armies of Westeros deal with an invading army. While his loyal army of 70,000 imperial guardsmen invade and burn Westeros."
Marcus continues;
"That's 70,000 that we know of; they are a sea with Ironborn fools waiting for the order to invade. They have another massive fleet with most likely the same-sized army. We just don't know where they are. The Great Shithead and his family before him have been planning their invasion for centuries."
Higgens continues;
"One of our enhancements is that when we are at war. We think as one. I apologize if you find it alarming. When you tell the Woman GenSol about us, tell her this, Marcus and I are brothers born of the same mother and father who forged us into what came before the first of the GenSol's of Old Earth."
Dying Weed asks;
"Tell me everything you know about what advanced weapons, troop strength and tactical plans."
Higgins replies;
"Marcus will answer all of those questions; we are supposed to be foraging. Which I have to get back to before we alter the surveillance drones watching Hellstrom and return to the camp."
As Higgins leaves to continue foraging, Marcus continues;
"The Warmasters have been collecting advanced technology for hundreds of years; they didn't need the communication devices Hellstrom gave them. This world has had insane amounts of other world visitors that left advanced technology littered like garbage on the ground."
Dying Weed asks;
"What is technology?"
Marcus states;
"A simple word for describing the collective level of equipment, weapons, medicine, science and shit instead of saying, them individually."
Dying Weed replies;
"I would rather talk about those things individually; the word technology sounds like a stupid word."
Yara and her entire fleet are fighting the massive disorganized fleet when one of the more prominent warships men start to setup early nineteenth-century belt-fed machine guns, and Yara's first mate says;
"That's not very sporting, them about to use those things."
Yara answers;
"Then be grateful that some of the information in those books Prince Jacob gave us included weapons like those and what he called heavy mortars."
Then she signals for the ships in support to open fire with the belt-fed machine guns and mortars and says;
"It's going to be painful when this is over to destroy the machine guns; they save so much time. Tell the mortar crews not to take out the catapult ships; those five ships are going to save us a great deal of coin. Especially since Prince Jacob already paid in full for us to build ten half the size."
Greyworm, S'Kere, T'Mina, Maester Luwin, Rugel, The Elders Edward, Andrea, and Jonathan standing in front of two massive stone doors three times larger than a door that Drogo could fly through with stone carvings of three Great Dragons, the large one in the center looks like a larger more intimidating image of Drogo, the one to the right is more serpent-like, and the one on the left is more like a hybrid dragon/horse and the chambers of the Great Dragons, the ones all Dragons must answer, and Andrea says to T'Mina;
"What is going to happen next was supposed to happen after S'Kere came of age, and something changed, and it has to happen now, long before it was designed."
T'Mina asks;
"What is going to happen?"
Andrea says;
"The Great Dragons are going to return to the world; you, your brother and cousin are going to ride them. Since you are too young and the Great Dragons must wake, I will be, for lack of a better answer, your bond or bridge mate to the Great Dragon you will ride. May I join with you?"
T'Mina asks;
"Will it hurt, and how long will this joining be?"
Andrea calmly answers;
"No, and we will be joined until you come of age, then our joining will become undone. May I join with you?"
T'Mina replies;
"Okay, yes."
As Andrea and Jonathan join with T'Mina and S'Kere using small glowing globes in each of their hands, Greyworm asks;
"This is all a waste of time; why am I really here?"
Edward looks at him and asks;
"Other than the doubts you have, what do you feel is behind this door? Do you fear it, or do you have an urge to open it?"
Greyworm answers;
"I am Unsullied, I fear nothing, behind the door I feel something strange, not fearful or calling strangely to me, but like someone I had great feelings for, who is long gone and waiting for me on the other side of the door."
Rugel asks;
"I still don't understand why I am here and recovering from that shower filled with brushes painfully scraping my flesh."
Edward states;
"Lord Rugel Sipicone, you are the last Master of Dragons; after the Great Dragons are revived, you will bring the Dragon Riders into the world when you hatch the dragon eggs."
When the light in the small glowing globes fade, Edward turns to two large doors, opens a small wooden box and pulls out a white crystal. He places the crystal in an indent where the doors touch each other. The crystal glows, then fades. When Edward pulls the crystal out, the doors begin to slide open like elevator doors, revealing a large room. As they step into the large room, windows on the walls and ceiling slide open. As Edward leads everyone into the middle of the large room. They see the signs of it being sealed for hundreds, possibly thousands of years; on the other side of the space in front of them are three statues of the three dragons carved in the door in a state of sleep. The one in the centre looks like it was cut out of dragon glass, the one on the right a bright green jade and the one on the left polished marble. All three are covered in thick layers of dust. Greyworm stops close to the statues and says;
"I have had a dream of this room since I was a child; how is that possible?"
Edward answers;
"My Lord, it was not a dream; it was a vision. What do you feel like doing?"
Greyworm looks at him and says;
"I feel like touching the dragon glass statue."
Maestre Luwin says;
"If you still believe that everything that you have been told you is wrong, touch the center statue and if nothing happens. Then we were wrong."
Greyworm looks at Maestre Luwin, then walks over to the dragon stone statue and touches its sleeping face. Then steps back when nothing happens. He turns around and says;
"Maestre Luwin, your belief in me being one of these Dragon Lords was mistaken."
Then slowly, the sounds of glass cracking can be heard, and he turns around to see the Dragonglass crack and start to fall off as the Great Dragon inside wakes. As it begins to get its bearings, T'Mina and S'Kere, being held by Jonathan, touch their dragons, and the same thing happens.
When Greyworm's Great dragon recovers, it looks at Greyworm then engulfs him in dragon fire. When the fire clears, Greyworm is standing naked in front of it and realizes the masters' procedure on him has healed as if he had never been cut. He watches the other two great dragons burn T'Mina, Andrea, S'Kere and Jonathon. Long lost memories of his birth and who he was and is before he was taken and sold into slavery return and he says to Maestre Luwin;
"I would still prefer to be called Greyworm, just Greyworm. No Lord, Greyworm and nothing else. The name my birth parents gave me is worse than the slave name I was given."
As other Elders enter the room to bring clothes for the Dragon Lords and Ladies, Greyworms Great Dragon says;
"What happened to my home Valaria?"
Edward hesitantly replies;
"That's a long story, Lord Valerian, a person from Terra Del Sol 29 tired to go home and destroyed everything. We aren't completely blameless, as we didn't notice that he had dimensional psychosis."
Lord Valerian replies;
"Why is it that only Terrans and Earthlings that can't go home always do idiotic things trying to get home. Master of Dragons bring the Dragon Riders into the world."
Rugel looks at Lord Valerian, and before he can say anything, another Elder hands him a wooden box large enough to hold a single dragon egg. While he is holding it in his hands, they open it, revealing a gold ornate dragon egg and quietly says;
"Lord Rugel, pick up the egg and say, "Dragon Riders, I command you to come into this world.""
Rugel quietly responds;
"The last time I picked one of these things up, I had the most unpleasant bathing experience in my life."
The Elder quietly responds;
"Different egg; this one wasn't affected like the others."
Rugel hesitantly picks up the golden ornate dragon egg, quietly says to himself;
"Please don't burn me; I only have one leg."
Then says;
"Dragon Riders, I command you to come into this world."
When the golden ornate dragon egg begins to shake and crack, Rugel tries to drop it but finds himself unable to. Then the ornate golden dragon egg's shell falls apart, leaving a baby gold dragon in his hands. The baby gold dragon flips forward onto its legs then looks at Rugel. Without warning, the baby gold dragon burns Rugel from head to toe; when the fire clears, it lands on his shoulder, while Rugel is trying to balance on one leg to keep from falling. The baby gold dragon bites him.
As elders help Rugel up and dress him with clothes, the three great dragons morph into humans. The dragon they called Lord Valerian morphs into a woman about five-nine with jet black hair, alabaster skin, a toned body, and piercing dark eyes. The one on the right morphs into an Asian man, five-nine, with a fit, well-muscled body and piercing green eyes. The third dragon morphs into a giant man almost seven feet tall with reddish-blonde hair, well-muscled with a dark completion with piercing blue eyes. The Asian man says;
"My name is Aego. Great dragons can shapeshift into humans, mostly when we eat. Eating in dragon form is messy and messy."
Lord Valerian looks at the people in the room and says;
"Why do humans always assume that I am male when my dragon form is clearly female."
Clem is wearing the body paint, tribal markings, and hair filled with white powder smoking a joint while turning Dragon Eggs and saying;
"I can't believe that Drogo hit me with his tail; now I'm back to being Celibite Clem."
Then he watches the eggs begin to shake, crack and explode into the room. He watches a pure white baby dragon burns him with fire; when the fire clears, Clem is entirely naked as if he had never been wearing body paint and powder-filled hair. As the pure white baby dragon lands on his shoulder and bites him, he states;
"That was a good joint, and couldn't you have waited for two days until the monthly orgies are over to hatch? Having to spend the rest of my life celibate could have waited two more fucking days."
John is sitting by a fire trying to find an excuse to get away from Ursula, who is still trying to get him into her bed and says;
"I took a vow not to marry or bear children."
Ursula responds;
"Just because you're the King of the Free Folk doesn't mean that I want to marry you. I'm the head of three clans, which is five more than I want to be the head of. Whoever came up with that oath forgot that men don't have the right parts to bear children."
Before John can say anything, he sees a baby dragon flying towards him. When it gets in front of him, it burns him from head to toe. While he sits completely confused and utterly naked, the baby dragon lands on his shoulder and bites him. Before Urusala can stop laughing and say something possibly rude, another baby dragon burns her; when she is also utterly naked and confused, her baby dragon lands on her shoulder and bites her. Then she turns to John and says;
"Since we're both naked, my tent is right next to us. Why don't we get in it and get warm? The long night could have started tonight. What is this thing on our shoulders?"
John looks around for anything resembling clothing and says;
"Until the baby dragon set me on fire, I was cold, now I don't feel cold, and the nights are getting shorter, and everything is melting. I don't think the long night is going to happen this winter."
Ursula replies;
"Who cares? We're naked, my tents right there, and the tiny dragon can stay outside. Children shouldn't see what I want to do with you until they are old enough to ask questions."
Yara is about to lead a boarding party when a baby dragon burns, then bites the shoulder of her first mate and says;
"Why are you just standing there, grab a weapon and join the fight. We have four catapult ships to take."
The first mate looks for a weapon he replies;
"It would have been five if they hadn't dropped a wildfire bomb on themselves. What is this thing on my shoulder."
Yara states;
"Something that will guarantee that no one will ever fuck with our shipping industry. Don't let it get killed."
Then jumps onto the ship next to them.
Two orphaned boys, two orphaned girls and three Unsullied weapons masters are standing utterly naked with baby dragons on their shoulders, and one of the weapons masters says;
"Distractions happen in battle; this is the only warning you will get. Get back to training the next time something tries to distract you if it succeeds, and you survive. You will get a beating."
As they go back to training, one of the Unsullied with a dragon on his shoulder looks at it and says;
"Why do you want to be called Martha when you are clearly a boy dragon?"
A Maestre of Medicine who is observing and documenting the training asks a naked Unsullied weapons master;
"Would it not be in everyone's best interest to take a break and put some clothes on?"
As the Unsullied, who was having a slight argument with the baby dragon, goes back to correcting the orphans fighting movements, another naked Unsullied states;
"The next break in training is in five hours, like battle Unsullied do not take unnecessary or unscheduled breaks. Is the name Jerry male or female? I am neither, so I don't understand why it's important. For some reason, the baby dragons say it is."
Then goes back to training the orphans.
The sisters watch a naked Elsa as she fights the baby dragon that just burned all her clothes off, bit her shoulder and looks like it is trying to keep her from drinking; Elaina says;
"I thought dragons were smarter."
Eeina adds;
"The Drunk Pervert Babysitter definitely isn't into sharing; that baby dragon wants to drink that alcohol too."
Amyelia says;
"For a Drunk Pervert Babysitter, she's very fit and toned. Not as fit and toned as Cindy, but Cindy doesn't drink. I have a dress that would look good on the Drunk Pervert Babysitter, and I was going to give it to Cindy; I have no idea when I'll see her next. My mirror isn't working when I try to talk to her."
Eeina finds a dish for Elaina to pour Blacksmith Hammer Vodka into, and as she slides the alcohol-filled dish to Elsa and the baby dragon says;
"For your mirror to work, there should be a mirror in the hand mirror. For some reason, I can't find a mirror when you're around. That's my dress you want to give to the Drunk Pervert Babysitter."
Amyelia counters;
"Not that dress, the one in my hope chest with Cindy stitched into the collar."
Before Elaina takes a drink of Blacksmith Hammer Vodka, she says;
"When did you get a hope chest? Mine went up in flames with our home."
Amyelia states;
"I had it made. I just have to go on another diner date with the blacksmith apprentice, which will be a while. The Drunk Pervert Babysitter doesn't let me have free time."
While Elsa is distracted by the baby dragon, they watch Eeina try to sneak out the door. Elaina barely has time to put the bottle she was about to drink into the bed she shares with Amyelia when Eeina crosses the door's threshold. After they find themselves in their bedclothes trapped in their beds, Elaina quietly drinks and says;
"We need to get a fourth bed in here; I just realized that I need to pee."
As Elsa hesitantly pours alcohol in the dish for the baby dragon to drink, Clarice looks into the room to see all three of her daughters tapped in their beds and says;
"I was going to have you join me for lunch; I'll have someone bring you some food for when you get out of bed."
Then closes the open door, awkwardly dragging Elsa's bed to bar the door and spilling alcohol all over her and the bed.
Shogo is sitting on the deck of a ship headed to Dorne when he first sees a small bird flying quickly towards him against the wind. Then he blinks and opens his eyes to see a baby dragon burn him from head to toe; when the fire clears, it lands on his shoulder and bites him. As people put out the fires that started when the baby dragon burned him, he says;
"My dead twin brother's widow had three of you; it didn't end well for either of them. What should I call you?"
Tyrion is sitting in what usually would be the captain's quarters of the ship. He opens the window, and before he sits down, he watches a baby dragon land on the open window. He slowly walks up to it, when he says;
"Hello"
It screeches at him then flys away. As he watches it fly into the distance, he says to himself;
"I'd hate to be the person it claims; Dragons are impressive and extremely expensive to keep fed."
