This is a quick one that I wrote depicting Poe and Finn helping Rey to bury Ben's body in secret. It is certainly sad, but try to enjoy through the tears! "Finn and Poe hauled Ben into a fireman's lift, then a casket's hoist. It was remarkable that they had enough strength between just the two of them. Ben's body swayed dangerously for a parsec... 'Don't hurt him' Finn told Poe."

It is strange to hold Ben. The memory of their combat is very real in Rey's mind; the focus and ferocity with which she attacked him and the brutality that answered her every blow. The hands and arms that now hold her so gently have barraged her with killing blows a hundred times. Blows that she returned with equally vicious intent. Then everything changed. Alt Ending.
