It had been a month since Llily brought Bella to the island, and preparations for the great peace treaty were well underway. It had taken a bit of convincing for Jake to undertake the transformation from werewolf to hybrid, the deciding factor was he would have to leave his mate and child, because either one of could and all likely would kill him!

Jake was in the process of helping build the great longhouse when a man walked up carrying two, 200-pound totem poles one on his shoulders. Looking at Jake the man said I'm older than you think boy. Agustina came walking up asking, "Need a hand daddy."

"There are two more totem poles that need to be brought up!" Lycaon said to his daughter.

Watching the exchange Jake thought, Daddy… that would make him…

With a flash of recognition in his eyes Lycaon read his face and in a willowy gruff gravelly voice said, "That would make me Lycaon King of Arcadia, first of our kind…"

Reading the unanswered question on his face Lycaon commented, "I'm older than you can fathom pup."

From Just Behind him Jake heard, "Daddy he already has a mate, "Relax."

"My imprint is still out there somewhere."

10:00 A.M.

Meanwhile at the Cullen house Carlisle Cullen is getting more and more Pissed off at Tanya Denali thinking she sicked Lilly on his son Edward.

From deep within the closest shadow came a disembodied voice, saying, "Tanya did not ask me to intercede Mr. Cullen."

Walking out of the shadow Lilly eyes Carlisle taking his measure saying, "Ever since the first Telepath was born there has been one rule that was absolute."

"What rule is that!" Carlisle asks sharply as his voice took on an angry edge to it.

"Never forcibly invade the mind of another that is the one rule no telepath human or otherwise would violate!" Lilly said in a commanding tenner taking on the persona of Lilith of Mesopotamia, saying, "Your Son violated that rule every day, 100 times a day."

"ON TOP OF THAT, HE TRIED TO MAKE BELLA FORGET WHO HER TRUE MATE WAS... FOR THAT ALONE HE DESERVED TO DIE."

Both Carlisle and Rosalie visibly wince at the ferocity of her voice, each having the same thought, his immaturity finally caught up to him.

10:30 A.M.

Rosalie asked. "What makes Bella so special."

Her eyes cut to Rosalie, Lilly said, "What makes Bella so special Rosalie Hale is she is my descendant."

"The rule about vampire children wasn't created for the reason you think."

"Meaning… what… exactly?" Rosalie asks eyeing her, seeing the subdued rage in her eyes.

11:00 A.M.

"One of the many names that was given to me was Mother of Monsters!" Lilly said with just a hint of venom in her voice.

At that declaration Carlisle Cullen's head snapped to Lilly as realization sets in, he starts to speak, "She gave birth to an army of monsters, in one night."

Lilly's lips turned up into a smile saying in a honeyed tenor, "Just close enough to the truth for humans to believe."

"The part about my giving birth is true Miss Hale but it wasn't with Adam, it was with a man named Gilgamesh, Bella is the result of that Pairing!"

Lilly explained softening her tenner, "Bella Swan was and is blood of my blood!"

Lilly closed distance on them in a blur moving faster than even their enhanced eyesight can track, and taking a seat looked both dead in the eye.

A Dhampir!

Lilly's gaze fixed on Carlisle as she stated, "I prefer the term Hybrid Mr. Cullen calling someone a Dhampir is like calling a black man... "

She let those words hang in the air stating, "You get the point.'"

His mind was still reeling from her last statement as Carlisle put the pieces together, whispering, softly, "The scriptures… were true."

Reading his face Lilly told him, "A vampire child yes not made…., but born!"

She can bear children… I wish she was my maker…

Not wanting to alienate Carlisle anymore then she already has by killing his son Lilly projected a thought into Rosalie's mind.

I could do it now Rosalie Hale, but you would have-to be strong of both mind and body, and this time you will remember every excruciating moment for the rest of eternity!

Rosalie Looked at Lilly doing her best to hide her reaction.

Looking at her Lilly said, "Private conversations are best held in… private."

Noon

"As to why, the world forgot I exist, consider this, if it became common knowledge a vampire could bear a child what would the humans do?" Lilly states walking away.

As both a vampire and a doctor it took Carlisle seconds to come up with the answer.

"Hunt us down and kill us… the ones unlucky enough to live would be experimented on."

"Then there is your answer." Lilly replied walking out of the front yard, saying, "Rosalie, if you haven't made your choice by the end of the Vampire, Werewolf summit go to the reservation ask to speak to Agustina she knows how contact me!"

2:00 P.M.

Tanya was Sitting at the top of the cliffs overlooking sea when Drake walked up with a velvet box in hand.

"Sasha wanted you to have this." Tanya's head whipped to Drake as he said, "The Night they came for her I had to take it from her."

"WHY"

"Because it would lead them to me, and I don't exist." Drake said with a wink, "I gave it to her… after I made her."

Wide-eyed Tanya looked at him as she lifted the cover to reveal a crest.

"She knew me as Vlad Dragulea." Drake explained

"Press the side in with your thumb and push up." Drake told her

As the Locket/Crest opened Tanya sees a portrait Drakes true face, the same face he wears now, in the adjacent compartment is a portrait of Sasha.

"She thought if she bedded me, she would bear a child." Drake's voice was filled with sorrow as he said, "Only first ones can do that, I did warn her not to try."

In another part of the reservation Lilly and Bella were discussing the future.

"Bella, someday you will make your first sire… be sure to choose wisely." Lilly explained looking at her adopted daughter.

Frowning Bella said, "This sounds like goodbye."

Giving Bella a gentle smile Lilly said, "From the beginning of time the young grow up and leave the nest, that is the way of things"

"As far as it being goodbye… its more of a till we meet again"

"With The Volturi gone, The Elder Council will need to step in and govern to maintain order."

Drake don't forget to extend aern offer to join The Elder Council.

Back on the cliff Drake was smiling.

Tanya eyed him with a raised brow, asking, "Drake!"

"You are being given an opportunity Tanya." He told her pausing to gauge her reaction.

"What opportunity?" Tanya asks him.

"A seat on The Elder Council." Drake told her, "Your 1200 years old you have to be 1000 to be considered.

"Drake?" Tanya states trying to hide her reaction, "Carmen and Eleazar have asked me to put forward a request."

"Oh!" Drake said, "What is the request?"

Smiling Tanya said, "When you leave, they want to go with you, Eleazar wants to study the tree at your temple."

With a light chuckle Drake said, "Ever the historian, granted, we would have extended an offer regardless."

Later That Day

From the cliff overlooking La Push Drake's Baritone voice said, "If we do this Beloved, there is no turning back… everyone will know the first ones walk among them."

"As Much as I would like to walk off into oblivion Drake." Looking at her make Lilly stated, "They are gone, who is left to keep order."
