Parallel Dimension - Part One

It was currently a busy day in Konohagakure's Hokage Office. After a certain mission that he assigned Asuma, and Kurenai with. They received an old scroll that said it belonged with the Uzushiogakure, his wife's old home. They did find a note about the scroll and learned that only the Uzumaki clan can activate the said scroll.

Minato sighed, as he tried to activate the scroll, but there was no reaction with it.

"Well, can't be helped. Let's have Kushina check the scroll for us." Hiruzen commented while reading another small scroll that came with the sealed one. "Looks like this one is sealed by the Uzumaki head clan. A direct descendant might be able to activate it fully."

"I understand. Kushina said she'll be here later. I can ask her by then."

The old man nodded and agreed "Then call me when it's time to do this again", and soon left the room. Minato stared at the scroll, as it refused to open, even with physical force being used. He returned the scroll back to its places, deciding to take a break for now. As he got out of the room, he was greeted by his old students with his wife and four years old son.

"Tou-chan!" Naruto shouted in glee, letting go of his mother's hand, as he made a dash, and a big jump to greet his father.

A wide smile was present on the Hokage's lips, as he opened his arms to catch his excited child. Giggling at his little son, while the boy started to talk a lot of things at him.

"Good timing Kushina. I was about to take a break"

His wife grinned, happy that she came right on time. Minato turned to his other students and invited them as well, which Rin obliged, as she missed eating Kushina's homemade meals. Reluctant, Obito agreed since he really didn't have anything to do. Kakashi however was about to leave, but after Naruto frowned, he decided to have lunch with them.

Minutes passed by, as they finally finished eating. Except that Naruto kept spoon-feeding Obito, which made the young man embarrassed while being teased by his friends. It wasn't long though when Minato thought that it's almost time. He then turned to his wife, asking her to come with him. Naruto wanted to join, however, he was asked to stay with Obito while he waited. With a pout forming on his lips he nodded his head.

"Later, Obito" Rin called out. Leaving the raven-haired lad confused, asking her where she was going. Instead got a response from Kushina, that Rin will be needed as well. The young man frowned as he stared at their backs, noticing Naruto's frown, a grin formed on his lips.

"Hey, want to play Naruto?"

The boy beamed him a smile, nodding his head excessively.

Tired from running around, trying to catch the bubbly four-year-old toddler. At first, Obito's plan was going well, but it went down when Naruto started running to different places while giggling around the hallways. Passersby would look and wonder what was happening, some were annoyed, some were amused, but nevertheless, they left the two alone for fun.

It only got worse though when Naruto opened the door, where the Hokage and the rest were working on the scroll. As soon as Kushina started to release the seal. Naruto tripped with his own feet and went face first towards the scroll. Kakashi tried to save the little boy, but Obito got in the way as the other man thought the same. Seconds later, Naruto was gone and was replaced with a blond-haired man wearing an orange jacket and gray sweatpants.

About the story, Naruto will be at least one year older per chapter, so we will be seeing a mini Boruto and the Grandparents maybe. (*^^)v
