Naruto the boy and Kurama the fox
"Shh, you have to be quiet" A blond-haired child hushed at his friend. That friend of his nodded his head, as he approached the lad and licked his cheeks. Naruto giggled from the affection, smiling at his newfound friend when was playing in the woods near his house. He slowly crawled from bushes to bushes, as his friend followed him. Hushing him every now and then, every time he doubts if someone is near them.
"Mommy isn't in right now, and Daddy is in the office. So only you and Kakashi and I." the boy chuckled again. "Oh, but Kakashi and Mommy are strict, so we are secret, okay?" he explained childishly to his friend. Standing up slowly as he looked around. "Now!" he cleared up, running towards the stairs followed by a fox. They then entered the house, and leaned behind the door, feeling happy with their accomplishment.
Naruto giggled at his success, standing up from the floor, he turned his head to the fox and beckoned to enter. Unbeknownst to him, a certain silver-haired lad was staring by the window. Sitting on a tree trunk with his head leaning on his open palms. "Looks like Naruto will be in trouble soon." he sighed.
Hours passed by, Naruto enjoyed his time playing with his fox. Running around the living room, to the hallways, and to his parent's room. Laughing cheerily as he teased the fox to catch him. Dancing around as he clapped his tiny hands together, he would giggle every time the fox made a weird sound.
It wasn't long though when Kakashi suddenly appeared before him. Naruto immediately wrapped his arms around the fox and pouted. The older man sighed in annoyance after noticing the messy living room. He squatted down to Naruto's level and patted his head. "Now, now. Your Mom and Dad will get mad at you when they get home."
"Don't tell Mommy, and Papa"
Kakashi chuckled, "I won't but they'll find it out if you don't start cleaning. With that, the young boy gasped and started to arrange the things he messed up with. Throwing the paper scattered on the floor and putting the pillows back to the couch. He then ran back to the fox and brought him to his room. Kakashi could only grin, staring at the still messy living room. Photo books were still on the ground. His crayons were under the coffee table, the pillows are messily being placed on top of the couch. "Well, at least. This time wasn't as bad as last time" he sighed, as he started to clean after the mess.
Minutes later and indeed Kushina arrived, Minato behind. Everything was already clean by the time they arrived and didn't seem to notice any changes. However, Kakashi decided to inform Minato about Naruto's new friend. Thanking his student, Kakashi bowed and left, Minato turned to his wife and found her chuckling in the kitchen.
"Looks like, Naruto bought a new friend." she giggled. Cleaning the dirty paw print from the kitchen tile.
Minato glanced to his side and saw his son hiding by the door. He wondered why he was hiding and decided to approach only to see a fox-like tail beside his son, his eyes widened, and instantly went to his son's side. Naruto had both his hands behind his back as if hiding something from him. But with how the fox was a little bigger than him, it wasn't too hard for Minato to notice.
"Naruto" he called out, causing his son to flinch. Kushina approached them and was surprised at what she saw. "What's that Naruto?" she asked, curiously with a grin.
Naruto looked up and avoided their gaze immediately. His father frowned, hoping his boy would speak up, "You know we can't keep pets in the house, since no one will be able to take care of it." Naruto pouted, turning his back at his father as he hugged the fox. Kushina sighed, agreeing with her husband, but no harm can be done with keeping one at least. Minato kneeled to his son's eye level as he turned him around. His eyes twitched after seeing his son acting so cutely. He sighed, "Fine, but only for today. Tomorrow you have to return him back to the forest okay?"
Naruto eagerly nodded his head. "Okay, Kurama also said he has to go home too"
Minato and Kushina looked at each other perplexed at what their boy just said.
Need some Obito time.
