Namikaze Family
A Divorce in its Doorstep, or so he thought? - Part Three
"Hmm, I think this one is better?" Minato asked his wife, holding on a light blue jacket that was almost similar to what he wore when he was young.
"Eh? But Naruto said his favorite color is orange, you know."
"I guess so. But I'm worried that he might be too obvious during his mission"
The two were currently inside a clothing store. Picking out clothes for their son while on their date. "Mission, Naruto hasn't graduated yet, you know. Maybe an orange shirt is fine. Like this one" Kushina grinned while showing him an orange shirt with the Uzioshio emblem on the upper right chest. Minato smiled and nodded his head, "But I'll buy this one for him too" he grinned.
It has been two weeks since their fight and thankfully an offer for a date was accepted by his wife. Here they are now, looking through clothes, checking which one fits their son best. After paying for the clothes they favored, they left the store holding hands, walking around as they enjoyed the small amount of time for their alone time together. They were now on their way back to the office, after having lunch with just them.
As they were talking, they would bicker at times, but laugh it off after a few minutes later. They have been together for so long, that bickering at random things is very normal to them. Minato is usually the one who keeps the peace at most times in their household, but there are times when he loses a fuse as well.
Opening the door to his office, they placed the bags on the couch. Minato then sat on his chair as he started to work, reading on a paper and handing them to his wife. Kushina raised a brow and looked at it confused. "Eh? But isn't this impossible?"
"I know right? That's also why I brought you here." Minato sighed, explaining what he had found about the news of her old hometown.
"Then should I go there instead? I came from that town before it was destroyed, I am more knowledgeable than anyone here."
'Yes, that's right. However"
Unfortunately, Kushina was too excited. She cut off her husband from continuing his explanation. She starts nagging her husband about what her ancestors have done in the lab they just recently found. Stating that the place has been sealed and when the seal is broken it will self-destruct. "That's why I should go. I can undo the seal for them to avoid casualties."
Their attention was grabbed through when their ten-year-old son was now by the door with red eyes, tear stains still evident on his cheeks. "Mom, Dad!" he shouted loudly. Tears streamed down his face, worries in his eyes. Naruto approached his parents, his hands on a fist. "You're not divorcing right?" he asked worriedly, hoping that they won't and they'll stay as a family.
Umm, I want to apologize to CagedHeart7. I hope you're doing well. Don't worry though, this one will have a happy ending.
Princess Hinashi. I agree.
