Misunderstandings - Part One

Umino Iruka has been his favorite teacher since he started at the Ninja Academy. Despite his family's love for him, his parents aren't always around during school days. So to him, it was only Iruka. At first, the man didn't hide his hatred for him, just like how the rest of the teachers and some of the students had treated him. But somehow, the man suddenly changed and decided to approach him head-on.

Now here he is, staring with mouth agape and eyes wide, staring at the couple sitting by a bench. He was on his way to meet with his favorite teacher when after he took a turn he saw him kissing a white-haired man that has a familiar back. He instantly turned back and started running away baffled by what he just witnessed.

Unbeknownst to him, the man was just sitting with his left leg up on the bench, reading from a book that Iruka showed to him. While Iruka was pointing to a line that he wanted to confirm with him. "Naruto?" Iruka mumbled, after seeing a peripheral view of an orange jacket, he was about to call out but the lad had already run. Kakashi raised a brow and turned his head to where Iruka was staring, wondering what was wrong. "I think I saw Naruto, though it looked like he was flustered and then he ran away."

"Hmm, Basing from the location where he's at. He definitely misunderstood something" he muttered, already finding the situation troublesome. Iruka sweat drops, a bit confused with his statement. "Well, anyways, This should be fun." the white-haired male grinned, standing up from the bench.

The blond man was running hastily, not knowing where to go. He soon realized he had arrived at the Hokage's office. Peering from a window, only to find Obito working furiously while being mentored by his predecessor. Not wanting to disrupt and confusion started to cloud up in his mind. He soon left the tower and was running from roof to roof, until he saw his teammates near a shop. The adrenaline came rushing back remembering what he witnessed. Hopping down from the roof and landing between them, he instantly went to his fast-paced unintelligible mumbling of words, trying to get his words out.

"Calm down Naruto, we barely understand what you're trying to say" the raven-haired claimed, glaring at his friend. Sakura did the same, annoyed by his loud voice.

"I'm telling you I just saw Iruka-sensei kissing someone" he finally shouted, too loud to his liking earning other people's attention.

The two were surprised by the news, Sakura got excited, Sasuke rolled his eyes at him, wondering what the problem was. Naruto scratched his head furiously and held their hands, leaving the vicinity as he tried to look for a place with fewer people. The two were confused but followed as they saw him very troubled about something. Minutes later they reached a secluded area, and Naruto looked around hoping no one was around.

"Seriously Naruto, what's wrong? Isn't it good news that Iruka-sensei is dating someone?" Sakura asked, a bit irritated from being dragged around.

Naruto took deep breaths, trying to calm down. He then eyed his friends and called them to come closer, which they did. He cupped his hand around his mouth, whispering what he found out. Sakura was the first one to exclaim loudly.

"No way, Kakashi-sensei and Iruka-sensei are?"

Sasuke was starting to get annoyed, claiming that he must have misunderstood what he saw and assumed what he thought was true.

"Fine then, why don't we find out if they're dating or not"
