"Sorry, Kaiba, but I haven't heard from him since we grabbed burgers last week," said Jounouchi, kindness in the boy's voice that hadn't been heard since Jounouchi had last extended his friendship to the older boy during Battle City. One by one, the others followed suit. Anzu had apparently not heard from him since they'd gone to the arcade a couple of weeks ago with Otogi and Honda.

"We can help you search for him," Jounouchi chimed in. "We're worried about Mokuba too, he's a sweet kid."

Kaiba's heart ached at hearing the kind words about Mokuba without his younger brother being able to hear them. The kid deserved a lot of credit for the caring life he worked hard to build despite their painful past. Kaiba admired, if not envied it at times. So where was he?

Before alerting the entire city, Kaiba figured it best to exhaust all of his options, as tempted as he was to rush forward.

"Very well," he said at last, "where do you suggest we begin?"

"Otogi's throwing that huge event at Tokyo Disney in about an hour," Tristan said cautiously, "there's a chance he may know something, but he's unlikely to answer his phone right now. We could head over to speak to him and see if he knows anything. I heard him talking business with Mokuba just a couple weeks ago so they could have been more in touch."

Kaiba figured this was as good a lead as any and yes, Otogi hadn't responded to his outreach yet inquiring about Mokuba's whereabouts.

"That sounds reasonable," Kaiba replied. But he wasn't about to entrust just anyone to the job. This was personal and he knew his brother best. Business could be taken care of for a while. "Yugi, My guards will need to search your place for any clues and questioning. Since he saw you last Jounouchi, you'll go first. I'm going to head out after I've gotten an idea after the first round of questions." He didn't want ot delay the process anymore then he had to. He was eager to find out if Otogi had any intel to offer.

"Alright, I'll help you search, we can take my bike out there so you won't draw so much attention," Jounouchi replied. As much as we wasn't looking forward to such a trek on the back of Jounouchi's bike, Kaiba had to admit he didn't want to deal with onlookers at such a big publicity event, one that he'd planned to attend with Mokuba. Calling another care would take up too much time, clearance and muscle that could be better used searching for Mokuba.

"Fine," Kaiba mumbled. He was not choosey tonight.

Jounouchi's round of questioning went quickly as their meeting hadn't been able to extend beyond the shopping center they'd eaten at due to time constraints as Jounouchi also worked. Kaiba did learn that Mokuba had been discussing the event Otogi was holding with excitement and had even informed him of his upcoming trip to Florida that he'd been eagerly planning as well. It appeared Jounouchi and Mokuba loved to joke and laugh together, and even had some inside jokes." Kaiba felt a mixture of jealousy and appreciation towards the blonde haired duelist. He worried about how much the other boy opened his heart sometimes but wanted him to also have a better life than they had had growing up, he was learning that in recent years..

In some part thanks to the very boy behind whom he was seated on an old but sturdy looking motorbike common of the working class. Jounouchi's last words of never giving up to defeat Kaiba with a determined and cheerful grin juxtaposed now with the willing help he offered, making Kaiba feel something guttural in his abdomen. The boy had come astonishingly close to winning considering where he'd been back in Duelist Kingdom when he'd launched himself into a duel he couldn't possibly win. But Kaiba's goals had been just as single-minded then as now.

"I can only imagine how worried you are," Jounouchi started. "would be going nuts right now if Shizuka ever went missing. But don't worry, we're going to do everything we can."

Kaiba's annoyance at the reminder turned to a strange appreciation at the reassurance he didn't even know he'd needed. True, trouble followed these friends, but they were also the ones who could help.

"Hold on!" Jounouchi yelled back as he revved the bike forward in the direction of Tokyo Disney, which luckily wasn't far from this part of town.

The drive passed most in silence with Kaiba shifting only slightly to bear his lengthier legs with more ease on the modest bike. Jounouchi was a quick, intuitive driver, who thankfully knew the town well.

They were coming out of a short turn to a side entrance when Kaiba realize his next request had already been discerned by Jounouchi, keeping a low profile. "I figured there'd be a lot of crowds up front," Jounouchi replied quickly. Luckily they'd each been given passes for the event tonight so getting in through the side wouldn't be much trouble.

Kaiba felt a surprising lack of warmth as he dismounted the bike. It'd been a while since he'd ridden on a bike with anyone other than a security guard, but there was no time to muse on such feelings, too much was at stake tonight. He must be more worried than he thought, seeking comfort from Jounouchi.

Surely his needs were met. That's why he had Mokuba, wasn't it? His continued absence was making him question far too much.

He hopes that was the case as they weaved their way through the back entrances to where Otogi's makeshift office resided, being the star of tonight's spectacular. There was quite the hubbub about the space as the dungeon dice monsters player had a penchant for theatrics and fan fare no doubt.

They carefully continue to wind their way around performers and fellow duelists, slowly closing in on Otogi's office door, marked with an unmistakable shimmering star.

Kaiba raised his hand to knock, but a voice behind them made them turn.
