Heyo everyone on both the Rugrats and Loud House side of the fanfiction site! Now most of you may be wondering: Didn't I already have a story up with the same name? In which you are correct yes I did! However, not only due to time passing in irl, but it passing within The Loud House universe side of things, I decided to rewrite the first chapter of this story and reupload it. I don't have a set schedule for updating this like I do for my Rugrats fanfic but we'll see how it goes.
For those who may come across this and won't know:
On Rugrats side: This story takes place post the most recent chapters (any chapter labeled Big Sis Savannah) of my Rugrats fanfic Tommy Pickles: The Terrible Twos. Savannah, Ebony, and Alan are all my ocs that started appearing in my Rugrats fanfic around Chapter 33 (chapters labeled Green Pickles).
On the Loud House side: This takes place post The Loud House Movie but before Season 5 of the show.
!WARNING BEFORE YOU PROCEED!: As mentioned in the description, There's nothing majorly written about it, but there are MILD LOUD HOUSE MOVIE SPOILERS mentioned within this first chapter!

Lincoln Loud was seen tossing some clothes and other items into a duffel bag before he then zipped up and tossed the bag onto the bed.
"Hurry kids, we're going to be late for our flight!" Rita's calls could be heard outside Lincoln's door.
Lincoln placed his plush bunny, Bun-Bun next to his bag as he turned around.
"Now you all might be wondering what I'm packing for. Well, after our last big vacation to Scotland and how crazy that got we decided this time around we'll just be taking a trip within the states. We're going on a trip to the beach in California! With it getting cold here already in Michigan, going to the beach is out of the question so we've been saving for this trip right before school starts up again. Of course, we have to fly on a plane again, though luckily this time there won't be riding in the cargo hold and parachuting." Lincoln explained the current situation
"Lincoln! Hurry up!" Lynn Sr. called out to the single Loud brother
"Well that's my cue, Let's get this vacation started! California here we come!" Lincoln cheered as he picked up his bag and Bun-Bun, opening the door to leave his room.
Meanwhile in Yucaipa, California, where the Rugrats' resided, it was still quite early in the morning as the adults were hustling and bustling about the Pickles' residence. They were preparing everything for going to the beach that afternoon. The babies watched from the playpen as they conversed amongst themselves about the trip.
"Wow, I can't waits to go to the beach!" Dil beamed in excitement as he turned to his brother, who had just returned from his morning potty break, along with his friends.
"Me too Dilly!" Tommy chimed in
"Just as long as there's no sandman there again like last time." Chuckie said with a shiver running down his spine
"Don't worry Chuckie, there's not gonna be any sandman. Angelica was messing with us last time, member? She buried your daddy in the sand to makes us think he was the sandman." Tommy explained to his friend
"Oh yeah..." Chuckie responded, recalling indeed that it was his father just buried in sand.
Just then the doorbell buzzed as Didi went to answer it, it was Alan Green who was holding his daughter, Savannah along with a small bag with Dora the Explorer on it.
"Hey Didi, thanks again for allowing Savannah to join you all. Wish we could join you all but you know, Ebony is ready to pop any day now." Alan chuckled handing Savannah to Didi
"Oh it's no problem at all! I'm sure Savannah will have a good time at the beach with her friends. Just give us a call if something happens with Ebony." Didi said, taking the one year old in her arms
"You got it, thanks again." Alan said as he kissed his daughter's forehead. "Now you behave for the Pickles sweetie."
Alan then turned to leave as Didi closed the door and took Savannah to the playpen, sitting her down in the playpen with her friends.
"Hi Savannah! Are you excited to goes to the beach? Where is your mommy and daddy aren't they coming toos?" Dil quickly greeted his friend, lowkey bombarding her with questions out of excitement
"Hey Dil! Yeah I'm excited to goes especially acause I haven't been to the beach afore. And my daddy tolded me that he and mommy couldn't comes to the beach cause I think they're gonna be getting my baby sister soon." Savannah explained
"Oh yeah it's kinda like how my mommy was afore Dilly was bornded and we gots him." Tommy chimed in
"Yeah, i'm still not so sure about this big sister thing but I thinks I'll be okay with its thanks to you guys." Savannah said with a small grin, recalling the last week where Dil's brother and his friends had done their best to prepare for a new sibling.
"I'm sure you'll be a great big sister, Savannah." Dil reassured his friend
At that moment, the babies overheard the adults as they finished preparing everything as they heard the car trunk close outside.
"That should be it." Stu said, wiping his hands as he walked in through the front door.
"We should be going then. If we want to beat the rush hour, the crowds, and find a good parking spot we better get a move on." Didi said
"Let's grab the pups and get a move on then! Angelica and Susie are already getting antsy." Betty said, stepping into the house with Howard as they each picked up a twin
Following behind Chas took Chuckie's hand, while Kira picked up Kimi. Didi then picked up Dil and Savannah while Stu picked up Tommy.
"Let's go champ, we're going to have a nice day at the beach!" Stu beamed carrying Tommy out behind the others, closing the front door behind him.
On the Loud family side of things, a few hours had passed and they finally had arrived at the airport in Yucaipa as they all were gathering their luggage. Lincoln grabbed his bag and stretched with a yawn.
"You know, after having to get up extra early and being stuck on a plane for nearly 5 hours, I'm definitely ready to hit up the beach." Lincoln said with another stretch
"At least now since we weren't in the cargo hold we could all have a nice sea-esta!" Luan laughed at her own joke, resulting in a groan from Lincoln.
"Finally, I can catch a crab that I can keep as a pet!" Lana beamed in excitement
Finally off the plane, Lori had pulled out her phone as she was video calling her boyfriend, Bobby.
"Oh Bobby boo boo bear I can send you pictures of my new bathing suit once we get to the beach!" Lori chatted away with her boyfriend as she grabbed her luggage.
"This will be perfect to get a tan for my next pageant, my fans will love it." Lola said to herself, rolling her luggage up next to her twin
"Meanwhile, I can take this opportunity to study the various marine species that dwell on the beaches of California." Lisa said, adjusting her glasses
"Maybe we'll even see a shark attack someone." Lucy said as she suddenly appeared behind the twins and Lisa, spooking them and causing them to jump in surprise.
"Sandcastle!" Lily squealed in delight from Rita's arms, clapping her hands. She was excited to be able to make sandcastles on the beach soon
"Okay, okay kids hold your horses. I know you're excited but we still need to check into our hotel first." Lynn Sr. calmed the group.
"Your dad is right, and we all need you to be on your best behavior while we're here." Rita chimed in lifting Lily's diaper bag on her other shoulder
Luckily for them all, there was a shuttle bus that took them to their hotel nearby. The family of 13 scrambled onto the bus as they headed to their hotel to check in and get settled. Everyone changed into their swimwear and applied sunscreen while Rita set up the portable child potty in the bathroom for Lily. Not long after they returned from Scotland, Lily had her second birthday and Rita and Lynn Sr. had been working hard to potty train their youngest in time for preschool to start that fall. Luckily, with some accidents here and there still, they've been pretty successful with the transition without too much fuss.
"Lily all done." Lily babbled, sliding off her child potty and back onto her feet
"Good job sweetie!" Rita congratulated her daughter as she cleaned up Lily and put her in a swim diaper before putting on her bathing suit.
Finishing their preparations, the Louds then left the hotel to head down to the beach across the street from the hotel. Upon arrival, Lola set out her towel to relax and get a sun tan, Lori snapped a selfie and went tapping away on her phone to send to Bobby, Lana began digging in the sand nearby in search for crabs, Lisa scoped up some of the ocean water in a test tube for testing, while the other older Loud sisters went to swim. Lily had picked up her bucket and shovel as she toddled next to Lincoln, who was sitting on his own towel, as she plopped down to make a sandcastle.
Taking this time to relax, Lincoln had set up a beach umbrella as he laid on the towel, pulling out the newest issue of the Ace Savy comic.
"Ahhh finally, I can relax without my sister's disturbing me and I can catch up on Ace Savy!" Lincoln sighed in relief as he flipped open the comic.
Around the same time the Rugrats crew and their families had arrived at the beach. Luckily they all had found semi decent parking spots. While the guys unloaded the car and went to find a spot to set up their various beach items, the moms entered the bathrooms as they allowed potty breaks Tommy, Chuckie, Kimi, Phil, and Lil along with changing the toddlers into their swimming wear.
Finishing up, the moms took the babies out to the beach, setting them all on or around the beach blanket the dads had set up beneath a beach umbrella. Soon the babies had sunscreen put onto them as they were then given buckets and shovels to play in the sand if they wished to do so. Angelica and Susie had just finished getting their sunscreen applied as Angelica went off to make a castle for Cynthia while Susie went over to the babies.
"What's this stuff the growed ups put on our faces?" Savannah asked
"It's called sunscreen, it keeps the sun from hurting us and giving us a sun burnt." Susie explained upon hearing the question
"Oh. What's a sun burnt?" Savannah asked a follow up question
"It's when the sun burns your skin and it turns all red and stings really really bad cause you stayed outside in the sun too long without sun screen while at the beach." Susie explained again
"Oh I think I gets it. Well at least the growed ups put sunscream on us. I don't want no sun burnt." Dil chimed in
"Me neither." Savannah said as the others also agreed they didn't want a sunburn.
As the babies continued chatting away, a hermit crab had scuttled it's way across the babies towel, which Chuckie noticed causing him to scream and hide away behind his sister.
"Claws, come back!" A voice called out as the babies looked to see Lana chasing after the crab
"Don't worry, I gots him!" Phil said, bravely picking up the crab to keep it from escaping
"Oh, awesome thanks for catching him." Lana thanked the twin toddler
"It was nothing." Phil shrugged it off handing the crab to Lana.
"Thanks again uhh what's your name?" Lana started to thank Phil again
"Phil, my name is Phil! This is my twin sister Lil and my friends Tommy, Chuckie, Kimi, Dil, Savannah and Susie." Phil answered, introducing each of his friends to Lana as they all waved upon their names being called
"Cool, my name is Lana. I have a twin sister too. She's over there getting a dumb tan for her girly pagent junk." Lana responded, pointing to her twin
"Oooh! She's in those beautyful pageants that are on Tv? I want to meets her." Lil cooed, standing up
"Sure, you guys can also meet my other siblings too!" Lana grinned
"You have a lot of siblings too? I have two older brothers and an older sister." Susie asked telling Lana about her siblings
"Yup, ten actually!" Lana answered
"Ten?! That's a whole lots of brothers and sisters!" Kimi exclaimed in surprise
"Actually I have only one brother, my other 9 siblings are all my sisters." Lana corrected
"Wow, I don't know if I could have that many sisters and brothers." Chuckie said
"Well, I don't know about you guyses but I want to meet Lana's siblings." Susie said
"I do too!" Savannah said, standing up
"Me too!" Dil chimed in also getting up to his feet
Soon all the group were all interested in meeting Lana's siblings as Lana led them over nearby where her siblings were hanging out and playing.
