Heyo everyone back with the next chapter! Would of had this out sooner but of course work as usual left me exhausted. I also got hit again with a small writers' block half way through but I obviously managed. Anyway hope you all enjoy this chapter!
Going over to the diaper bag that Didi had brought, Tommy opened it and searched inside before finding what he was looking for: A couple small snack boxes of animal crackers and some various flavored juice boxes. Collecting what he could into his arms, Tommy made sure to try and bring back enough for them all. Toddling back, Tommy placed the snacks on the ground next to Dil, Lily, and Savannah with a grin.
"Mommy brought aminal crackers and juice!" Tommy exclaimed, taking a box of animal crackers and an apple juice box
"Ooh she even gotted grape juice. I like grape juice a lots." Savannah said, grabbing a box for herself along with a grape juice box.
"You can get your snackies firstest Lily." Dil said with a smile, allowing Lily to have first dibs on the remaining snacks.
"You sures?" Lily asked, eyeing the only choices of juice being left were either fruit punch or another grape juice
"Yeah!" Dil nodded
Once she accepted that Dil was sure, she went ahead and picked up the one fruit punch juice box along with one of the remaining two animal cracker boxes. Of course, Dil followed after taking the animal crackers and the grape juice. Sitting next to Lily, Dil opened his animal cracker box and began munching on them. Soon, wanting a sip of juice, Dil picked up his juice box as he attempted to get the straw to poke through with some difficulty. Normally he'd ask Tommy for help since he was better at getting the straws in the juice boxes but he was determined to do it all on his own.
"Do you needs help Dil?" Lily asked noticing Dil was struggling a little
"Oh uh nuh uh, It's okay sometimes the straw just doesn't likes to go in." Dil laughed nervously as he continued fiddling with the straw trying to get it in the juice box
Dil did eventually get the straw in the box, however not quite as intended as the straw managed to go through the other side causing the contents of the box to spill out into the grass.
"Oops.." Dil cringed, dropping the box into the grass in the puddle of grape juice
"It's okay Dil, it happens. Here we can share mine!" Lily comforted Dil, reaching and taking the straw from the destroyed juice box of Dil's and stabbing it into the opposite end of hers. "See!" Lily proudly held up the juice box now with two straws poking out of it on each end
"Wow! You're the greatest Lily." Dil giggled, admiring Lily's work
"Aw it was nothing, I do stuffs like this all the time." Lily shrugged with a grin
The two shared the juice box, sipping the fruit punch from it as Tommy noticed the two sharing the juice box.
"Now they really look like Chuckie and Emma. They dids the same thing." Tommy said
"Is thats a good thing?" Savannah asked taking a sip from her own juice box
"Hmm... yeah it's a good thing." Tommy nodded
Not too long passed before they all finished their snacks and were ready to play once again. Upon finishing his snack, Tommy got up to go and grab the red wagon that Didi had brought along for the kids to play with.
"Here Dilly, yous and Lily can rides in the wagon firstest!" Tommy offered
"Okay! Come on Lily, you firstest, we're gonna go on a cruiser around the playground." Dil giggled, taking Lily's hand again.
"Ooh sounds great!" Lily exclaimed in excitement, climbing into the wagon before helping Dil climb in as well.
"Savannah, you can help push the wagon." Tommy said
"I gots it!" Savannah nodded as she got behind the wagon ready to push
"Okay guys here we goes!" Tommy exclaimed as he began pulling on the handle while Savannah pushed the back of the wagon
The two toddlers in the wagon giggled in glee as they began moving. As Tommy and Savannah moved the wagon around Dil and Lily began chatting amongst themselves.
"So are you having lots of fun on your bacation?" Dil asked
"Mhm! Especially acause I got to meets you and your friends. And there's no evil mean ladies that are trying to hurt my brother and sisters like on our lastest one." Lily explained with a nod, recalling back to the Scotland trip.
"A mean evil lady?" Dil questioned, tilting his head also vaguely remembering a similar instance when they went to that Reptarland when he was still a baby baby. "I think we mets an evil lady on one of our bacations too but I was still really little so I don't member much. I just remember she was definitely as mean as my cousin Yucky-er I mean Angelica." Dil explained
"Yup it was a mean Coco lady who was trying to become my bestest friend, Chuckie's, new mommy luckily we got Chuckie to where they were getting married and stoppeded her for goods." Tommy chimed in
"Wow, sounds like you guys went through a lots." Lily said in awe listening to Tommy explain
"Yeah lots of stuff happened. What happened with the evil lady your family meeted?" Dil asked
"Well it's kinda a long story." Lily answered
"That's okay we can listens! Right guys?" Dil reassured the blonde
"Yeah!" Tommy and Savannah agreed, stopping moving the wagon as they also wanted to hear
"Okay well it all started when we wanted to figure outs where to goes on vacation. That's when my brother said we should tries and finds out stuff about our other family members and stuffs." Lily started to explain, telling the trio about the Scotland trip, how they ended up in the castle, met a real live baby dragon and so on.
"Wow, that's so cool that you gots to see a real life dragon!" Dil exclaimed
"Hehe yeah Lela was great, I miss her but I know she's okay. " Lily giggled
"Hopefully you'll gets to go see her on another bacation." Tommy said
"Yeah! How about we pretend that we're dragons flying?" Lily suggested considering she had finished her story as was eager to play some more
"Sure! That sounds like fun!" Savannah exclaimed as she held out her arms and began running around the grass pretending she had wings.
The others followed suit, as they ran around laughing and giggling while they pretended to fly around the playground.
"Hey guys watch this! I can fly backwards!" Dil called out as he began to attempt to run backwards
Dil managed to go backwards for a short amount of time before he tumbled backwards landing on the ground on his back.
"Are you okay Dil?" Savannah asked, stopping to help him up
"Yeah! That was lots of fun!" Dil giggled
"I never seen anyone be able to run backwards. I means even walking backwards is hard sometimes." Lily said
"Oh Dilly is the bestest backwards walking in the whole world, he can dos it without falling a lots." Tommy chimed in as Dil brushed off Tommy's statement, slightly flustered
"I don't know if i'm the bestest in the WHOLE world, just maybe here, where we lives." Dil said
"Even so, I thinks it's really cool!" Lily said with a grin
"Heh thanks." Dil thanked the two year old
"Kids! Come on, we're going to go see Taffy's show!" Didi called out to the group
"Ooh it's time for Taffy's show!" Tommy exclaimed in excitement
"Who's Taffy?" Lily asked, curiously as the group met up and followed Rita and Didi over to the small stage set up on the other side of the park.
"She's our babysitter when all the growed ups are doing important stuffs. Of course though lately she's been going to schools so she hasn't been able to babysits a lot." Tommy said
"Yeah! She also has a guitar and stuffs where she sings songs to us, you and Savannah will likes her." Dil chimed in
"I'll takes your word for it." Lily giggled, holding onto Dil's hand. "Usually when it comes to my family my oldeset sister, Lori usually watches us all. She's not as fun at times but we still do get to do fun stuffs."
"Oh yeah, are your sisters and brother gonna come to Taffy's show too?" Tommy asked
"Mhm! Look, they're already over there with my daddy." Lily said, pointing out the Loud siblings and their father nearby the stage area.
Meeting up with the rest of the Louds along with also spotting the DeVilles and Finsters, everyone gathered at the area near the stage as the show was about to begin. Soon, after the sunset, the lights on the stage flicked on as they centered to the center of the stage where Taffy and her bandmates stood.
"First of all I have to thank everyone for coming out tonight! Now are you ready to rock and roll!" Taffy announced into the mic in front of her as everyone began to clap and cheer
Strumming her guitar, the show began as Taffy performed for everyone in the park. This only meant one thing for the babies: Another dance party!
It wasn't long before the show ended in a success as the crowd slowly thinned while Taffy got to not only chat with the Rugrats families but the Louds as well. Naturally being the musician of the siblings, Luna and Taffy ended up chatting the most. Considering how late it had grown, everyone decided it was time to head their separate ways for the evening and to their respective homes or in the Louds case, hotel rooms.
"Lily gets along great with the others, it's sweet that she already has become good friends with Savannah and the boys." Didi complimented as she watched Lily give Dil a hug. "It's up to you of course, but if you like we can meet up again for another playdate before you all leave." Didi then offered.
"Haha we'll have to see with the rest of the herd but I can give you a call beforehand." Rita said "Of course! Just let me know." Didi said as Rita picked up Lily
"Will do! Alright Lily, say bye bye to your friends." Rita said after picking up the blonde
"Bye Bye!" Lily said with a giggle
Dil, Savannah, and Tommy returned the wave saying their goodbyes before Didi took them to the car. Getting them all strapped in, Didi slipped into the front seat as she pulled from the parking lot. However, there was one stop they had to make before they went back home. It was the hospital.
With Didi stopping at the hospital, will Savannah finally get to meet her new baby sister? Find out next time!
