This story follows Grissom's thoughts from the day he met Sara, through Immortality. This is a very extensive story that covers nearly twenty years of Grissom's life. It is labeled M given the basis of case content as well as later intimate scenes.

Gil Grissom finds himself back in Vegas with his wife (CSI:Vegas season 1). Laying in bed in their hotel room, his mind drifts back to where it all began. He takes an emotional walk down memory lane. Chapter 8 is when the smut arrives. We've reached the point where Sara leaves Vegas behind, and the latest chapter revolves around the time right before and after Warricks death.

Seems out of place but it is set after Nesting Dolls. No spoilers except coupling of Sara and Grissom. I suck at summaries and I do not own CSI or Sara or Grissom but this is an original story with familiar characters.

Ellie Mae Rose has turned up dead, the problem- she was declared dead 2 weeks ago, a victim of the Schoolgirl Strangler after being M.I.A for almost a year. The other problem- until now the S.S didn't keep his victims alive for long. The CSIs must figure out who he is before he strikes again & if he has anyone else captive.
