Hey everyone,

My name is Twubs, at least on this site. I am an aspiring author who took to Fanfiction to improve my writing. I chose to do it here because of the immediate feedback I can get from my reviewers. This feature has led me to see perspectives I never thought about, and improve upon my writing drastically. I have three stories up at the moment and that shouldn't change for a while. Below are a little about their stories, nothing plot wise, just my journey with them.

Stronghammer: Completed

This is my first ever work on the site, and the story I'm most proud of. I learned a lot in the sevenish months it took me to finish it. I loved every single second of the journey to finishing it, and still look back envious of those times. Even the review that were harsh, I loved. I really discovered my passion and love for writing with this story and will never forget it.

Stronghammer really showcases my journey as a writer also. The first few chapters (about 1-7) were thrown together in about five days total. The quality will reflect that, honestly. Then I started taking it week by week and really focused on improving certain aspects of my writing. Around chapter 15 is where I think I made a real turn with this story and my writing. This also lines up with when I started writing Voleur D'âme and put myself on a two chapter a week schedule. From this chapter till the end, I personally think that I made huge improvements in writing and developing my own style. This is my baby, and she will always have a special place in my heart.

So check it out if you want. I love it for the simple fact that it is proof of my improvements.

Voleur D'âme: Completed

My second story. As I said above, I started writing it about halfway through Stronghammer. At the time, it was a plot in my head that demanded to be written, kind of like all my stories. I really felt like I had grown a lot as a writer and wanted to start something that would be good from start to finish.

I admit that I might have been wrong in that sense, I still hadn't truly developed my style yet. But it allowed me to improve at a much faster rate. I got new perspectives from writing different characters and that really helped me a lot overall. It is what really solidified my writing, and now that it is over, I think that it was the story I learned the most from.

I have a few things I would change. Mostly I just wish that I could have incorporated more characters into the story. If you read it, you'll see what I mean fairly quickly. I tend to focus on a few important characters and it could have been done better. I wish I would have world-built a little more, but overall, I am extremely please with how everything turned out.

This is my most popular story by far. It may change in the future, but it is natural for readers to move it over to their fav's after a fic is finished. All in all, I am so happy at how everything turned out and what it taught me.

This might be my crowning joy, plot wise. There are some basic writing errors, but overall I'm so proud of this one.

Courage: Completed.

This is me trying to prepare myself for my own epic fantasy series. So I chose the Elder Scrolls for it's potential with being such a series.

Now that it is completed. The story changed so much from what I expected. This story really taught me how the promises I make at the beginning of the fic can derail the story towards the middle/end. It upset some people when it was revealed there were more than one SI. I can understand that. I have taken this into account when it comes to my future fics, and original stories. This story had so much potential, that I don't think I managed to capitalize on.

But you live and you learn. I still enjoy it thoroughly.

Conquer: Completed.

This is just a little something that popped into my head one day when Umodin (Author on this site! Check him and his stories out!) and I were pming back and forth about our fics. Then I went back and reread his Pokemon SI! 'Y'know Nothing Jon Snow'.

Conquer popped up then and refused to not be put on paper, so I did! The League is very controlling in this story, and Team Rocket is waaayyyy more dangerous!

Now that it is completed, it holds a special place in my heart.

This story is the one story that taught me how to treat a main character to help him realize his 'hero' potential. I torture Brawly in this story, to get him to where he needs to be. It is definitely darker than the others. There is more death close to the character than any other I have written. This story also got the most hate, for the simple fact that I brutalized Brawly the entire way.

Defiant

This is my Naruto!SI story. It will be very AU. It features a world where Naruto is not the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Fox. And then someone from our world is thrown into Naruto and gets to discover the massive differences from the anime, and this real world Narutoverse.

Very excited to see it come together. Not on a schedule.

The Ladder

Well I never thought I would do a gamer fic, but this one just wouldn’t leave me alone. This is a common theme you’ll see from me regarding my stories, they bug me until I give in and next thing you know, you’re eleven chapters deep! This story is on a schedule right now to post on the 1st and 15th of every month. Early access can even be obtained up to two chapters in advance on my P atreon.

My own original work of fantasy.

My works on this site have led me to chasing my dream: Writing full time as a fantasy author. I have already started on my first original work of fantasy. I pretty much have all of it planned and outlined already and work on it when I am not trying to improve on the site. I hope to get my first draft of the manuscript finished by the end of the year. I think I can meet this deadline realistically. I'll be posting updates about it (not chapters or anything of the like) on my social media below.
