A/N: The end of this review episode sets up the six-part season finale story arc (with Infinity War and Endgame as its movie reviews during it) coming right after.
Team RWBY's Commentary of The Avengers (Part 3 - Final)
"So August makes his threat to the world leaders that he will destroy the world, if anybody was in it, with his violent weather maker if they don't give in to his demands.", abstracted Ruby, "And what exactly are his demands? What was he doing this entire criminally insane scheme for? Money."
Yang makes a reference from The Fugitive, "What do you mean he did it for the money? He's already rich."
"Right you are! He clearly has millions of dollars, a hedge maze, a ton of useless expensive collections, but apparently, that just isn't enough for him! We guess he wants to save up for buying the planet Jupiter or something! Hey, we all need a hobby!", the leader of team RWBY clarfied as she, her elder sister and their two teammates watch the same scene where August tells the world leaders that the countdown had begun while a shot that was focused on August's kilt before focusing back on him was shown, "Please never zoom in on any grey hair in that area again. People are trying to eat their popcorn."
The elder sister of Ruby Rose describes the next part, "So they discover that Peel is a clone and Father is a traitor, as she throws Mother from the chair and takes both Peels with her to escape in a hot air balloon.", said part taking place in the film while Father jokes to Mother that it wasn't Mother's Day, "Oh, please, you were writing such a high note with that 'one should never fear being wet' line...", and she and the other three huntresses saw the snippet where John arrived at the scene with Mother telling him to pursue the hot-air balloon as he ensures he'll be fine.
"Yes, never mind the beaten man fallen over in a wheelchair freezing to death. You have to save the woman who they didn't handcuff for some reason, allowing her to climb out and blow up the balloon. Still keeping the Ministry's settings to Total Fucking Retarded, aren't you?", Blake commented when they also saw Emma escape and blow up the hot-air balloon that kills Father and Emma's clone, before stating, "So after they, what a shock, banter some more, they get ready to plan their final attack... Hamster style.", watching the two Avengers head across a lake in transparent balls as the four members of team RWBY imagine music from American Gladiators playing over it.
Weiss also said, "Now, here's another no-brainer scene. They have to use the phone booth to get inside his lair by saying the secret password.", as she and the three watch Emma say the password as August brings them down an elevator shaft and surrounding them with an iron cage, "Okay, so now he's got them. They're totally trapped in the cage for him to do whatever-", just as one of the sides of the cage opened up for both John and Emma to escape, "...what the fuck?! You opened the cage?! Are you a freaking MORON?! I think the most intelligent thing in this movie is the fucking umbrella!"
"So they split up and try to destroy Connery's evil machine. Mr. Steed fights him head on, while Mrs. Peel fights a henchman, played by then-unknown comedian Eddie Izzard.", resumed the red-black-haired huntress while she, her older sister and their two teammates saw the fight between Peel and the henchmen go on and eventually has the henchmen fall to his death during the climax; the lightning bolts then struck the Westminister Clock Tower as an explosion ensues, causing Ruby to unenthusiastically say, "Oh, no, look out. They're playing the stock footage from Mars Attacks!", climaxing, "So, in a very bizarre way to go, Sean Connery gets stabbed by Mr. Steed and then...struck by lightning.", as the movie showed lightning bolts then striking August to death as he was taken up into the storm clouds before disappearing, "We will never forget you, Sean Connery. Thank goodness he'll never do another awful movie like this again..."
The blonde huntress summed up, "So London returns to its normal crappy weather, no one is still around to see it, and Ralph Fiennes is realizing playing a half-snake, half-human hybrid named Voldemort chasing a magical boy named Harry Potter suddenly seems like a step up after this movie. Glad the Harry Potter franchise made its point.", just as the film ended, "And that's the 1998 spy movie The Avengers. What a cup of dick!"
Team RWBY makes their opinion on the movie in conclusion;
"The sets are dull, the dialogue is dull, the characters are dull, and it all hinges on a dull joke!", Blake criticized.
Weiss told, "Everything just seems to be on autopilot. There's no passion or drive to anything that happens."
"You totally forget you saw it just a few minutes after the viewing. So, Avengers, if you really wanna avenge something, avenge this piece of shit movie for making us suffer so much!", Ruby explained.
Yang concluded, "Let's just say it's pretty bad when the God of Thunder named Thor, a can opener man of iron called Iron Man, an American hero recognized as Captain America, and the Jolly Green Giant known as The Incredible Hulk looks much more plausible than this!"
"I'm Ruby..."
"...I'm Yang..."
"...I'm Blake..."
"...and I'm Weiss."
"We remember it so you don't have to.", team RWBY ended the Avengers (1998) review as the four of them left their commentary chairs.
Outside Beacon, the four members of team RWBY walked to the edge of the academy where they watched the beautiful view of the ocean and the daytime sky when it was 3PM.
Pyrrha, Nora, Penny and the other guests, including Maka, Athena, Cameron, Yume, Baiken, Sinon, Kasuga, Ty Lee, Ibuki, Miria, Celty, Natsume, Ann, Akane and the rest of their friends came.
"Hey, girls.", Athena said, "Seems like you reviewed another movie once again. What was it?"
Ruby told, "Apparently we were gonna do Infinity War and Endgame but it turns out we reviewed the 1998 Avengers spy film instead, much to our surprise and disappointment to say the least."
"That doesn't sound classy at all.", Cameron commented.
Baiken said, "Maybe you'll do that one after right?"
"Surely and hopefully.", Yang said.
Yume confessed, "You know, during this social event, we had a great time hanging out with each other together."
"We got to know a lot about each other and became friends in the process...", Miria continued.
Natsume also said in her Australian accent, "I mean, we also went to Edo Island together. Got to explore a bit there too since it definitely wasn't beyond the black stump."
"And I bet we've grown closer than ever before!", Maka gladdened.
Akane told, "There's only a few days left till our departure back home... So we should make the best of it until we meet again someday."
"The future lies ahead...", Sinon thought, "Who knows what the future holds?"
Kasuga said, "I sense a growing friendship between all of us. The universe seems to be expanding since we're getting to know more..."
"Can't say for sure. I mean, we have occupations and activities that we have no problem doing...", Blake mentioned.
Weiss said, "Well, it's not like if this day takes a darker and urgent turn..."
"Guys?"
Everyone looks to see Pyrrha and Nora, as Ruby, Yang, Blake and Weiss felt horrified.
The two JNPR members notice their hands, arms, legs and skin emenating with dust, just before the two of them collapse...
...and they disintegrated, leaving a mass of dust on the ground.
Team RWBY and the others were shocked.
"PYRRHA! NORA!", Ruby mourningly yelled, running over to the ashes, "No... No, Pyrrha... Nora..."
Yang, Blake and Weiss were alarmed by the sudden disappearance.
Trucy gasped, "Athena?", before she suddenly vanished into dust, shocking the orange-haired girl.
"What's going on?", Julian asked before he noticed dust emanating from his body, just before he vanished in a cloud of dust too.
Cameron was frightened when she also saw Miranda, Valentina, Yasamin and Kazu disappear as well.
Same with Maka as she and Tsubaki Nakatsukasa saw Blair vanish in dust.
"Sinon? Leafa?", Asuna panicked as she notice she was disintegrating, before she tried to hold onto them as she turned to dust as well.
Leafa questioned, "Sinon... I'm scared...", not knowing she was vanishing.
"Leafa!", Sinon said in a horrified expression as she watched her lover disappear; she turned over to Alice Zuberg as she said, "Alice. What is happening?", as she held her hand...
...but Sinon disintegrates into dust as well.
Shellshocked as she saw her friends disappear, Alice Zuberg uttered, "No..."
Ohana Matsumae felt weakness in her legs as she stumbled, weakly saying as she was vanishing, "Natsume..."
"No...", Natsume tearfully said to her friend as she fell to her knees and crawled over, "No, no, no, no...", but she watched Ohana disappear just when she was about to cup her cheek, "Ohana... No..."
Akane, watching her friends Shion and Rina disappear, was horrified as she disintegrated into dust as well.
Penny, in horror, looked at her hands and legs vanishing into dust before disappearing into thin air.
"PENNY!", team RWBY called out in shock when seeing this.
Maka said, "Penny... Where are you!?", as Tsubaki N. and Alice Zuberg look at each other worryingly.
"Something's happening...", Futaba sensed cautiously, before Ann, Miria, Celty and the remaining others watched her disintegrate into dust.
Ann cried, "Futaba..."
"Celty...", the motorcycle helmet-wearing girl then turned to Mika, who was vanishing and panicking.
Celty called out, "MIKA!", but she couldn't save her from disintegrating as it was too late.
Then, Iki Hiyori and Fuu Kasami felt their body disintegrating, asking their relative, "Faye?", before the two gasp, disappearing in the process.
Terrfied, Faye looks over to team RWBY after watching her relatives disappear.
"Don't panic...", feared Ruby.
Faye sighed in horror, "Oh, no...", as she vanished.
"Girls...", Kasuga sensed tearfully, "There must be a way..."
It was all that the kunoichi had time to say before Kasuga disintegrated into dust too, along with Nohime, much to Saika, Oichi and Matsu's horror.
Miria also looked alarmed as she saw Nice and Jacuzzi disappearing too.
Noticing Mai turning to dust, Ty Lee said, "RWBY?", feeling her heart sank, "I don't feel so good...", as specks of dust appeared as she started to disintegrate.
"It can't be, you're... You're alright...", said Ruby in a worry.
The Kyoshi Warrior said, "I don't know what's happening... I don't know-", feeling her legs weak and coming over to Ruby, crying, "I don't wanna go... Ruby, please... I don't wanna go...", before lying on the ground as Ruby, Yang, Blake and Weiss watched, "Ruby... What's going on...?"
Team RWBY and their remaining friends saw Ty Lee then disintegrate, turning to dust.
Ruby, shellshocked by this, looks at her hands as it gathered the dust that laid behind.
Baiken, shocked by this, turned around and asked, "Inori."
She then saw that Inori, May, Kuradoberi Jam and Millia Rage had vanished as well.
The pink-haired samurai, in horror, said, "Inori...? Millia? Jam? May! ...Girls?! INORI?"
Team RWBY then mourned together as they had watched some of their friends had disappeared.
But who caused it?
What will RWBY and their remaining friends do?
Where will this lead them?
The future lies ahead...
